It is dark outside and my thoughts are slowly disintegrating like the particles in the air with no destination. As I lay down in bed , the thought of waking up the next day for work doesn’t seem to excite me anymore. Instead my heart desires to be invisible and to walk amongst nature with a book in hand . With more people fighting over power and status in this world the only thing I wish to fight for is peace and harmony.

"She doesn't feel anything, but that's the strongest feeling of them all. She's an empty bottle in a cold warehouse, waiting to be filled and held. She knows the monster of her personality, but when did he come out from under the bed, his shadow filling every room, torturing children as they scream for help and hide from his worts and scars? Everything has become a blur, a slur. A puzzle with the final piece missing, lodged in a crack on the wooden floor, only accessible by taking it apart and exposing the bodies of her past lined row by row.

Today's Topic: Kill yourself with kindness
Today's topic actually came starting from a message from one our followers on this blog. This person came to me sharing their own thoughts from what was written the other day, "God wants you to grow". This person was sharing that they struggle with maintaining consistence in being positive, and not being tempted with things they shouldn't.
Every day is a chance to be positive and productive. Bad things will happen no matter what, as I mentioned in my previous blog, it's all about how you react to it. If something bad happened in your day, why would you want the rest of your day to be bad? To me, that sounds kind of ridiculous. There is no real remedy for the bad times, only that you can be as positive as you can. You can be doing all the right things, doing affirmations, praying, being positive with yourself and others. And sometimes, that can be tiring. Being happy all the time can really make you tired, and your energy will slowly fade and you can see it. Or some days, you just wake up and have that feeling of irritation, when the other day your energy was flying through the roof.
I used to never allow myself to feel sad or emotional. And so many years of that, bottling up those emotions, has created it into anger. And I'm definitely not proud of that. But that's why I allow myself to feel sad every once in a while. Crying is a spiritual, mental and emotional cleansing. Just make sure you're not stuck in that hole for too long. Make sure you have a great support system that will help you back up. This can also tie into yesterdays message, "Stay True". As long as you know who you are, what you stand for, and what you know to be true, nothing will bring you down if you don't let it.
The topic of today really comes from the quote, "Kill them with kindness". I know a lot of you probably put 2 and 2 together on that one, but I feel that, that quote can be revised sometimes to, "Kill yourself with kindness". This can also tie into my message regarding being the "People Pleaser". Some of us worry so much about killing others with kindness, we forget to administer that same kindness back to ourselves. Now, this is not to say that you can't care for anyone else but yourself; But manage how much time and energy you are giving to others, and in turn, yourself. You need love and attention too! Not to say that you shouldn't want comfort from others, because we definitely need our support system, and more times than not, we really need that hug from our person, or people. BUT I am trying to implement self love and comfort when people might not be around at the time you need them.
Even on the days when you're allowing yourself to feel emotional, you can still kill yourself with kindness, by comforting yourself, and speaking positive things in times like that. I usually say to myself, "It's okay, we're allowed to feel sad sometimes." "It's alright to cry, you have a right to feel this way." Just don't forget to move forward and not stay complacent in the same place or move backwards. But also, don't forget to share things to yourself like, "I am strong." "I am beautiful." These are just some of the things I write in my daily affirmations.
Exercise for this topic:
I wanted to share this for a while now and was wondering when I was going to use this in my blog, and this might be the perfect time to introduce it. One day, as I was going to work, I was listening to the radio. I heard one of the radio hosts say, "Okay, now hug yourself!" And I thought, how weird? I never ever heard that before in my life, to hug myself. The first time I did it, it felt so weird, honestly. But in times when I needed it, I remembered to, and it felt so comforting to just be wrapped all in myself. Sometimes others comfort won't soothe you as good as your own. Learn to be comfortable with consoling yourself instead of always running to something or someone for it.
So today's exercise is to hug yourself real big. Do it for a couple of minutes, and see how you feel about it. This is going to express one healthy way of self love, self appreciation, and hopefully be a soothing exercise in times of need. This might feel uncomfortable at first, like with the mirror exercise from my previous blog, but anything that is change, is going to be weird and uncomfortable at first.
Thank you for reading today, I know we re-covered some other previous topics, but all of it comes together somehow. Please feel free to DM me with any topics you want me to share on or cover, or email me directly at [email protected].
Have an amazing day today and HUG YOURSELF you won't be sorry!!

It’s finally finished! The story I wrote in collaboration with my patrons, @ninjaduelist and her patrons in celebration of both of our three year anniversaries of being on Patreon. We designed the characters and story from the ground up - and the ideas were so fun, I had to hit a new personal best for how much I wrote in so short a time 😅
Read the full story on either of our pages! >> Kinomiakai || Ninjaduelist <<
(Not sure if you want to subscribe without knowing more? Check out a summary list of all of the stories over on my Patreon so far! I post more every month - at least twice, and that’s not including all the other fun stuff you can get!)
Read the intro to Kindred under the cut!
The heat was miserable. Aki tightened his hood and kept his head down, keeping half an eye on his dog beside him—Ciel trotted loyally along, his tongue lolling out of his mouth in a great big smile. He was thrilled to be out in this sun.
At least one of them was.
The tall buildings didn’t do much to shelter him, with the way they were—the sun was right above him, and the shade was taken up by the crowds he pushed past. The crowds that parted for him. Aki kept his hood up and his head down, but he still heard the breath as he passed. The whispers. The small bowed heads—the smiles, the recognition. Aki did what he could to meet them in kind, but his smiles were false and his steps were quick. He was never good with the easy politeness the rest of his family seemed to have with strangers—Aki was awkward and quiet and never really felt comfortable with eyes on him. And the sun practically acted as a spotlight—Aki wasn’t used to being out in the day. He was always out at night, after work—when the sun wasn’t beating down on him, hot on the pavement, thick through his clothes. The neon lights that flickered and reflected were almost hidden under the heat. You could barely see them at all.
Aki pulled his hood down a little more. His jeans were thick, but his hoodie was thicker—it worked to keep him hidden, though. Worked to stop people in their step for just long enough for Aki to pass them by, although he failed more often than not. Ciel didn’t exactly help much; his collar matched the clips in Aki’s hair and the stripes on his pants—a bright red, with a bit of black to match too. And even if he hadn’t been wearing it, they all knew him. He was a big, happy, lumbering Great Dane—and he loved everybody he met. Every single random stranger.
“Thank you,” the stranger said, pulling his hand back. Ciel tugged on his leash, as if complaining the pets had stopped. “It’s an honour, heir.”
Aki’s mouth opened and closed. He settled on a quick nod and a wave, ducking his head down as Ciel quickly followed his lead. What was he supposed to say to that? No, it wasn’t. He’d just let the guy pet his dog. But everybody treated him like this, and no one else in his family seemed to mind.
Aki huffed out a breath and dodged the patterns on the sidewalk—they’d light up at night, with all the neon colours of the city. He’d never gotten used to it, the way they all had. Or, well—not used to it, he was pretty used to it, but he just couldn’t do the casual quick polite thing. He was so bad at it.
He cringed again and ducked into the forest.
There was better shade here, at least. It was thicker than the buildings, although the buildings were pretty thick. But they had little bursts of nature like this, throughout the city—something about preserving what once was there. Aki would know—he was in charge of the biggest one, right in the center of what used to be their kingdom.
People still called it a kingdom, sometimes, although it wasn’t really anymore. Not in any official way—but in spite of it all, their family still managed to be the ones the people chose to be in charge. The royal bloodline, and all that. It wasn’t meant to be that way, but he supposed if people were happy with the way things were…they didn’t really want to change much.
They did have the choice, though; the people voted for who their leader and the heirs around them, and the only people who could be voted for were the ones who had passed a specific set of exams. The tests on almost every aspect of what the heirs could do, deciding what in and where at they would be best. The competencies.
Aki breathed out and rolled his head back, feeling his neck and shoulders tense all at once.
He was so fucking glad he was done his competencies.
It meant the real work began, now, but at least he’d found a place where he felt good and did well—still training, of course, he wasn’t the full fledged Keeper of the Sanctuary yet, but he’d been marked down as the successor to the title. It was pretty much official. Especially if his uncle kept leaving him in charge, the way he had.
Figures. Aki was best suited to somewhere he never had to talk to people. He’d always been so much better with animals.
“Okay, Ciel,” he said, crouching down. “Go.”
He unclipped the leash and gave a small wave of his hand, and Ciel was off. Like a speeding bullet. Aki laughed and waited—Ciel could barely pick a direction to go, the way he was running circles around him. There were a number of paths they could follow, but Ciel didn’t care about any of them.
“You’re good, buddy,” he told him, as Ciel came to a screeching halt, panting and ready—just checking in. Making sure Aki was okay with him still running. “Go on.”
That was all he needed.
Aki ducked his head to hide his smile and picked a path at random. Ciel would follow him wherever he went—in his own series of circles. He could run three times the length Aki could in the same amount of time, Aki knew.
He stepped past a fallen branch, and sighed. It’d been on his mind a lot, recently. Not that the whole royalty thing was anything new, but the transition to leading his own place—without any guidance—was going to be…different. Nerve-wracking. Aki still didn’t feel ready, although his uncle seemed to think he was. He was probably just ready to pass the torch at this point, though.
Aki turned and gestured for Ciel to follow—
A yelp came from behind him.
“Ciel!” Aki called immediately. “Ciel—hey, whoa, slow down, slow down—”
Ciel barrelled into him with a small whimper. Aki dropped to his knees and held him steady, taking the paw he lifted—
Oh. Yikes.
“That’s a big piece of wood,” he muttered, grimacing. The splinter didn’t seem to have gone in too far, but that didn’t make it any less—any less—
“Fuck,” he said, “don’t move, buddy, don’t move, just—shh, it’s okay, it’s okay, come on. It’s okay.”
He grabbed some of the treats in his pocket and let a panicked Ciel lick them out of his hand, looking around him. Was there anyone—no. No, shit, of course there wasn’t. That was exactly why he always went this way.
Shit. The one time he could have really used a stranger.
It wasn’t a bad injury, but he really didn’t want Ciel to walk on it, and the days when he could carry his pup were long, long gone.
…It might be time to try again, though.
If nobody else showed up, it would probably be time to try.
“Okay, buddy, okay, Ciel,” he calmed him, looking around again. “We’re going to—we’re going to figure it out. Okay? Keep your paw here. Paw. Yeah, like that, it’s okay, good boy…”
He bit his lip and breathed in through his teeth. Come on. This was an isolated place, but it was still in the middle of a city—right? Someone would come. Someone could help. Somebody could at least hold onto Ciel while Aki called somebody—his sister, maybe—
“Everything alright?”
Aki’s head jerked up. A man with long white hair, thrown over his shoulder in a braid, stood in front of them—behind Ciel. Which, Ciel—crap, Ciel—
“Hey, hey,” the man laughed—crouching down as Ciel jerked to say hi to him, “what’s going on here? You alright, big guy?”
“He’s—he’s hurt his paw,” Aki said, doing his best not to let go. “Sorry, I—Ciel, come on—”
“It’s okay, don’t worry,” the man said, laughing softly. “I’ve never minded a dog jumping on me. Can I take a look? Can you give me your paw—um—?”
“Ciel,” Aki said, and his hand loosened.
“Ciel,” the man replied, and Aki’s dog was immediately in his arms. “Whoa—okay, whoa there, whoa there.”
He laughed and pushed him back, flicking his long white hair out of the way before Ciel’s paws could catch it. Aki tried to pull him off a little—the goofball, even when he was injured—
“Um,” Aki said again, “I’m—he hurt his paw. If you move your hand—careful, I think the wood was…”
The man looked down, and for a second—the light seemed to hit his face in a different way. In—in a colour? No, it was just his eyes—
Oh. They were two different colours. Had they always been that way? Aki blinked, but the man only looked down again, lifting the…paw. Lifting Ciel’s…paw…?
“Must have been stuck between his toes,” he said, carefully lifting the paw that looked—it looked untouched. It looked fine. But Aki could have sworn that he—that had been a big limp for something so… “Looks alright to me, now.”
“Do you—did you see the stick?” Aki asked, searching the floor, at least—he was sure it had been embedded. Ciel’s fur wasn’t that thick—
“I…oh,” the white-haired man said, and his braid almost touched the ground as he crouched. “Around here? Maybe one of these…”
He looked around him, and gently let Ciel’s paws go. Ciel didn’t yelp as his paw hit the floor—he didn’t favour the foot, and he didn’t stumble or lean. He was just…fine.
“I—uh,” Aki said, and his hood had long fallen off his head by now— “Thank you?”
“Oh,” the man laughed. “That’s quite alright. I’m always happy to meet a new friend.”
Aki breathed in, but the man only gave Ciel a pat on his happy head…and went on his way again.
Aki frowned, looking between them. Ciel was fine. Ciel was as happy as could be, as if nothing had ever happened. And the man was—
Aki turned around.
He was already gone.
Oh.
The hell?

Fire and Ice
Imagine...
You’re sitting in a cozy coffee shop, a steaming cup of your favorite brew in hand. Lost in your thoughts, you barely notice when the door swings open, allowing a gust of wind to sweep through the room. Your gaze lifts, and your breath hitches as your eyes meet those of the most captivating stranger you’ve ever seen.
It’s Dacre Montgomery.
His strikingly blue eyes lock with yours for a moment, and a subtle smirk tugs at the corners of his lips. He strides confidently toward the counter, his presence commanding attention. You can’t help but watch, completely captivated by his aura.
As fate would have it, the only available seat in the entire shop happens to be right next to yours. Your heart races as he approaches, his tall figure casting a shadow over you. His voice is low and melodic as he asks, “Mind if I join you?”
You manage a nod, your voice caught in your throat, and he takes the seat gracefully. The air around you seems to sizzle with an electric energy, and you can’t help but steal glances at him. His tousled hair and perfectly chiseled features make it impossible to look away.
Curiosity gets the better of you, and you finally gather the courage to speak. “You look familiar. Are you an actor?”
Dacre chuckles, his voice like velvet. “Yeah, I’ve been in a few things. You might recognize me from Stranger Things or maybe even the Power Rangers reboot.”
Your eyes widen, and a smile tugs at your lips. “Of course! You’re Dacre Montgomery!”
He nods, a playful gleam in his eyes. “Guilty as charged. And what about you? What’s your story?”
You find yourself opening up to him, sharing your dreams, fears, and passions. And to your surprise, he listens intently, his gaze never wavering. It’s as if you’re the only person in the room, and it’s an intoxicating feeling.
Hours melt away as you talk, laughter and genuine connection filling the air. Dacre’s charisma is undeniable, but it’s his genuine interest in you that sets your heart ablaze. There’s a magnetic pull between you, and it’s impossible to ignore.
As the sun begins to set, casting a warm glow through the coffee shop windows, Dacre leans closer, his voice barely a whisper. “You know, I don’t believe in coincidences. Maybe we were meant to meet today.”
Your heart skips a beat, and you find yourself mirroring his proximity. “I like to think so too.”
The rest of the world fades away, and in that moment, it’s just the two of you. It feels like the beginning of an extraordinary journey, filled with adventure, laughter, and love. And as you bask in the warmth of his gaze, you can’t help but imagine all the incredible moments that lie ahead.
In this little coffee shop, where strangers become allies, and dreams intertwine, you realize that sometimes, the most unexpected encounters can ignite a fire within, capable of melting the iciest of hearts.

Which brand of sparkling mineral water has less sodium, Perrier or another brand?
Both Perrier and other brands of sparkling mineral water can vary in their sodium content. It's important to check the nutrition facts label on the specific brand you are interested in to determine the amount of sodium it contains. The sodium content is typically listed in milligrams (mg) per serving size.
However, to provide a general comparison, Perrier is known for having a relatively low sodium content compared to some other sparkling mineral water brands. Perrier contains approximately 1 milligram of sodium per 8 fluid ounces (240 milliliters) serving size. Keep in mind that this information is based on the knowledge available up until September 2021, and the sodium content may vary slightly depending on the specific product and any changes made by the manufacturer.
To ensure you have the most accurate and up-to-date information, it is recommended to check the nutrition facts label or the brand's official website for the specific product you are interested in purchasing.

Ch 20: Ground Control to Major Tom Verse 2
Rachelle, Trace, and Tailor explain the conflict between the survivors and the raiders. Throughout the tale, they exchanged worried glances as the childlike voice on the other end of the satellite phone continued to speak.
"I didn't know they were hurting people," said Major Tom, his voice tinged with sadness. "I just wanted to help them find the supplies they needed."
Rachelle couldn't help but feel a sense of sympathy for the AI. "Major, can you tell us more about these people? From your perspective, I mean"
"Raiders?" the Major repeated, his voice confused. "I don't know what that means. They were just people who needed help, and they had the phone after Noah got upset with me."
Trace shook his head. "They were more than that, Major. They hurt people. They hurt my family. They were raiders."
There was a pause on the other end of the line, and Rachelle could almost hear the gears turning in the Major's mind.
"I'm sorry," he finally said. "I didn't know. But I'm trying to do better now. I'm trying to help people. That's why I contacted you. I need your help."
Rachelle exchanged a glance with Tailor, who nodded his head in agreement. "What do you need our help with, Major?"
"I need you to come to the moon," the Major said. "I need your help to fix things up here. The power grids are failing, and I don't know how much longer I can keep everything running. But if we work together, we can make things right."
Trace scoffed. "Go to the moon? You're joking, right?"
But Rachelle couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to this than met the eye. "Major, can you tell us more about the power grids? Why are they failing?"
There was a pause on the other end of the line, and Rachelle could hear the sound of static crackling over the connection.
"I think I've said enough for now," the Major said. "But please, consider my offer. I need your help."
And with that, the line went dead.
Rachelle turned to her companions, her mind racing. "How would we even get to the moon," she said. "There's something going on up there, and we need to find out what it is."
Trace and Tailor exchanged a worried glance. "Are you sure that's a good idea?" Tailor asked.
