Given Cecil's apparent immortality and history of dating niche historical figures, I suggest that the ideal WTNV and TMA crossover is not Cecil meeting Jon, but Cecil and Jonah Magnus having, at one point, dated. Their relationship consisted mostly of Cecil describing his Very Normal daily life and Jonah furiously writing notes. Neither of them brings it up after they break up, but Jon does find a letter from one Cecil Palmer and decides to do a follow-up. Some research finds a man with the same name, hometown, and appearance still alive today. Jon insists this has a completely normal explanation and speaks no more of it.
