Hello, hello! I really do love it when y'all ask questions about my AU, so thank u for indulging me :)

You know, I'm not actually too sure.. but, pretty much, yeah! Turbo is still a villain in my AU, for plot's sake. But it would be boring to just leave it at that, so I tried to spice it up a bit by making it a redemption arc! 'Cause who isn't a sucker for redemption arcs? I might change this, tho! My AU is mostly concepts, less story focused, so it's all very vague and undecided- I might shuffle it around some more.

Since this is a Swap AU, he was initially supposed to be an unfinished Halloween special character from Sugar Blast (a mish-mash swap-ish concept between Sugar Rush and Hero's Duty!!).

He would have been the glitch instead of Vaneloppe, and I thought it would be fun if he was the "Ghost Boy" and had Halloween candy themes in his outfit, heh. He was supposed to be a sort of cryptid character who appeared in and out and was mostly considered a myth.

BUT THEN, I developed the idea a bit more and branched out to a different concept where he is still the glitch, but not tied to Sugar Blast. I revisited the whole "Tur-bug" idea because I thought the bug joke the movie had was funny.

The logic behind the whole thing was that, after game jumping, Turbo kinda hung around collecting stray viruses and bugs (that usually would have been prevented by a barrier had he been inside a game, which he was not atm) which festered in his code and mutated him, in a way? So when Sugar Blast was plugged in an he tried to get in, not only did his corrupted code screw things up, the fact that he was from a much older game than Sugar Blast made him incompatible- code wise. So there was a system error, exacerbating his mutated state and making him ✨️a glitch.

I had a lot of fun with the design for this idea! But... eh. Story wise, it got a lot more repetitive and boring imo. Basically, the same idea as the first movie but redesigned with more detail. I don't really like it, so I might try a different idea, or combine a few!

Anyways, so yeah! He's still supposed to be the villain, but his whole shebang is very.... unsure. He's a super fun character tho, so I'm having a blast playing with his story and design :)

man I will say something feels a little...... off in how some of the lobcorp content I’ve seen talks about Ayin as a character. TV Tropes for example leans HEAVILY on the whole “Ayin is a bad boss and a horrible person who treats everyone like garbage” angle, but the thing is that the whole point of Ayin’s character arc is that he’s done so much horrible shit and ruined his life and the life and the lives of everyone he loves, and also he absolutely hates himself for it and has turbo depression out of regret for all his bullshit, and part of the whole point of Lobcorp’s plot is him trying to fix his mistakes and atone for everything he’s done in Carmen’s name. Literally the whole point of the Abram boss fight is fighting the living personification of Ayin’s guilt and regret and depression over all the shit that’s happened. And it feels pretty fucking weird that everyone talks about Ayin setting up the “helping the Sephirah get over their traumas” boss gauntlet as his yet again screwing his friends over for selfish reasons, when 1. Ayin’s desire to make amends still seems pretty goddamn genuine regardless, he’s an idiot who frequently does Not Quite The Right Thing but the whole point of the post-boss fight cutscenes is to show that he does feel genuine concern for his coworkers even if he’s a dumbdumb about showing it, and 2. the whole point and conclusion of Hod’s arc for example is specifically that, even if you’re doing good for selfish reasons or if people think you’re doing good for selfish reasons, you should still do good anyway, because doing good is the right thing to do, and it seems pretty Whack to act like a game where that is a major message would magically turn that part off when it comes to other characters. And yeah, Ayin treats Angela like absolute garbage, but given that the game makes a point that at least one past Ayin broke down and started apologizing to Angela nonstop I’m pretty sure that, if Ayin ever got the chance or had the issue brought up to him after all the character development he went through, that he would start trying to treat her better, and the only reason he doesn’t in the game is he’s an idiot who oopsy daisy slammed the heel-face door behind him and locked himself out while ascending to the heavens.

And it feels especially whack given that the theme of “These people are horrible monsters who have hurt or even killed hundreds of thousands of people, only to have a massive ‘My god, what have I done?!’ realization and turn around and try to make things right and atone for their sins” is like. kind of the whole point of a lot of ProjectMoon’s works????????? I’ve read everything so far except Library of Ruina, but even for that I’ve seen spoilers, and the big recurring motif with each main character so far is “Person who has done fucked up things realizes just how badly they have fucked up, freaks out, and either goes into a self harm guilt spiral or immediately tries to fix things”. Moses in Distortion Detective’s whole thing is she’s a war vet who got thousands of innocent people killed who’s trying to use her current career to atone and actually help people for once, and Library of Ruina is basically Roland and Angela Redemption Arcs: The Game. So it feels weird to see stuff go “yeah that checks out” for those characters, but then for Ayin it just goes in one ear and out the other.

You know what we need? More post show supernatural drama. That’s always super entertaining. And I think I know what should come next: Redemption arc. Not within the show, but for the show itself!

In a few months we find out that CW sold the rights to supernatural to help with their financial problems. Shortly after that, it is announced: Supernatural, the movie.

Plot: Turns out the ending of season 15 wasn’t the whole story. After dying from getting nailed by a vampire Dean and Cas are wished back to life, because there is some new threat that is so bad that it’s gonna take one of the legendary Winchesters to deal with it. Sam isn’t in the movie, because Jared sucks, and because Dean didn’t want to disturb his happily ever after or whatever. So it’s a Dean, Cas, and old ally/new guy.

Plot happens, but the important part is Cas and Dean being total wimps about talking about the whole love confession thing, but in a way that it is this massive elephant in the room, will they wont they thing that has a big influence on the story. Because everyone knows that’s why the fandom is here for.

Sub plot: New guy starts out with massive hero worship of Dean and Cas, but slowly becomes more and more jaded about their idols as it becomes apparent they are emotionally repressed nerds who would rather get sent to turbo hell than talk about their feelings. Hilarity ensues.

It ends in some way that isn’t really shitty to gay people, I don’t know how, I don’t really care. I’m 100% in this for the second hand fandom drama. Could you imagine the tumblr explosion after Supernatural: The Movie was announced?

Ren Ranks Power Rangers Series (Ninja Storm - Dino Fury)

I am including Hyperforce in this and the 2017 movie but not the other side movies between seasons. Also it's been a solid 2 years since I've seen Power Rangers so my memory's a little foggy.

Dino Thunder - it was one of my first shows, I love it so much. Plus Tommy Oliver's comeback.

RPM - it was just really cool for me to see? I loved Summer and Ziggy.

Dino Charge/Super Dino Charge - Riley and Chase my beloved. Also ShelbyxTyler was adorable and Kendall was awesome! I didn't really like the way it ended with the time paradox stuff but oh well. It's still a good and heartwarming series to watch.

Dino Fury - the newest Hasbro season. I love the energy and the vibe from the show! The cast is talented and the writing actually doesnt suck! I hope they get picked up for more episodes.

Time Force - Jen Scotts, need I say more?

Hyperforce - I found Hyperforce right around when I was getting into RPG games so I loved it! I wished they sold the game in mass production.

Mystic Force - Vidya is a queen. Udonna is iconic.

Beast Morphers - awesome kickoff show for Hasbro. It was a great callback to RPM and a cool way to show what Hasbro had to offer for ranger fans, new and old alike. The multi show crossover was hype.

2017 Movie - a great big screen adaptation of the MMPR series. A lot went wrong but hey, power rangers on the big screen, it's so cool!

MMPR - I didn't grow up watching the OG stuff so it kind of just exsists for me? It's good but I'd take Dino Thunder over MMPR any day.

Jungle Fury - Casey's development was great. Jarrod's redemption arc was cool to watch! Camille was my biwakening.

Ninja Storm - I like Cam, Dustin had some funny lines here and there. Plus, Dino Thunder crossover!!!

Lightspeed Rescue - I loved the dynamic part of it! Dana & Ryan's sibling thing was interesting to watch!

Ninja Steel - I loved Calvin and they had a lot of promise. The writing kinda took a left turn into the trash can but it was enjoyable to watch.

Samurai/Super Samurai - it's eh? Jayden sucks but like, everything else was okay? Plus we got our first female red ranger out of it!

Megaforce - how to fuck up an anniversary season in 40 episodes. I actually liked it but it could've been way better.

Operation Overdrive - I just... what? I didn't really understand this show at all.

literally the empty doesn't have another speaking role after the library despite being a major player and a big bad?? incredibly half assed writing and planning.

dean literally gets cas killed for no reason though. like, all of cas’ other deaths had very clear cause and effect, but the cause and effect here is that if dean hadn't randomly decided to put down his god killing boner to go and kill billie instead then cas would still be alive. this isn’t me being dean critical (though it kinda is) it’s just a really half assed redundant writing choice that doesn't hold up?

i no joke tore my shirt open during the confession scene because after seeing all the gifs i thought i was already over it i had already done so much exposure therapy to the confession scene i was NOT expecting it to hit the way it did, i was NOT prepared i went to clutch my pearls but i was in fact wearing a crewneck instead and she did not make it :( my last surviving college shirt :(

i hate the dog im sorry waste of screentime considering plus i can never fucking trust this show around a dog, all 3 dog based episodes have been weird as fuck.

also lucifer gets to say "cuck" twice. gay angels?? very bad and we can’t show that kind of behavior on screen. but we CAN say cuck not once but twice (and once more in a flashback)

Dean asking jack to come back to the bunker with them to come back home and be a family again and they’ll fix things up and make the place nice and be a family...

(I’m feeling dean critical right now cause of all the shitty writing but this was still REALLY SAD objectively one of the saddest parts of the finale was jack loosing his father his personhood his freedom and his future and dean loosing the last link to cas he had left)

Dean: "what do you mean of course he's gonna come back to the bunker" Jack: "Dean I’m not coming back home" (literally dean told jack he wasn’t family but that’s still jack’s HOME and he SAYS IT)

a song montage of the shows greatest hits where they show dean's handprint scar and also Zachariah but NOT CAS at all until towards the end which was almost worse than not showing him at all. literally Zachariah  got an equal amount of screentime what the fuck. cw really said angel equality not angel equity!!

-the goodbye scene doesn't even work dean was lit trying to kill sam with a gun 3 eps ago. like, the show being about brothers against the world at the end doesn't even work they've done nothing to earn even the illusion of this. do you guys maybe think its possible that the show evolved away from this at some point during the last 15 years?????????

How would you rank the Beyblade series? (the original, Metal Fusion, Metal Masters, Metal Fury, Burst, etc.)

Well, to start with I gotta be honest and say I never watched any of the Metal seasons... I just didn't find the style of those seasons interesting? The characters looked like they tried to be from YGO I felt? And I also missed watching V-force from the OG seasons so I cant count that one either.

From the rest however, I think I gotta say G-revolution is still my favourite season. It kept the original cast, introduced new characters and made a continuation of the original first season story. Characters went through arcs and Neoborg got a redemption arc which I think is absolutely great.

I still love the Burst seasons! (I havent finished Turbo tho because I really dislike Aiga and how they handle the turbo bey concept) But Burst has a lot of great characters that I love and they made the beyblading part more fun but like in a way that makes you feel like it's possible to have that much fun irl too. However, I feel like they didn't put as much effort into fledging out characters and arcs as much as the OG show did. A lot of the Burst teams just consisted of like one important character and the rest barely had names. And the battles all last like 1 minute each, even the important ones! You never felt any urgency for any of it.

One of my favourite battles of all time was a really long battle in G-rev that didn't even include the main protag! It was all about character growth for the side characters (including like three of my favourites) and it was a very emotional moment that really stuck with you. I just feel like the OG show was better at making you care if that makes sense?

It's all still junk food though so I know you cant really expect too much. I still love all of it for what it is. But if I gotta think about it and compare, G-rev is definitely the best, no competition! (even though Burst gets extra points for creating Lui, he's one of the best characters ever made probably)

The challenge I’m not even rooting for team USA because they disgusted me when they didn’t pick ct over his weight like they lost me right there. Really been rooting for the UK to win

REALLY IT WAS SO DUMB THOUGH. Like mkay CT is my fave redemption arc of all time so obviously I’m biased but even dad bod CT is an absolute MONSTER in the game as he has obviously proven over and over. Turbo is a really skilled player but he’s done one season, what I don’t get and that’s so stupid about their decision is that yes Turbo is an asset to the US team, but CT being on the UK team is a HUGE liability for the US team. Like you have a pack of inexperienced idiots who know nothing about you or the game, and instead of throwing them one good player who also knows nothing about you or the game you throw them one of the most seasoned vets of all time who knows exactly how to fuck with y’all? Every time anyone underestimates CT I flash back to when he was losing his mind attacking Adam and LITERALLY EVERY OTHER PERSON IN THE HOUSE COMBINED COULDN’T STOP HIM. Yeah, he was in better shape then, but Jesus Christ that guy is an absolute freak of nature and I can’t fathom a world where going up against him is the easier option than going up against literally anyone else.

Okay so, obviously he didn’t die when he - well - died at the end of WIR. Candy had a GIANT code in S.ugar R.ush’s system. He regenerated the same way he would if he ran off the road. 

KC regenerated inside his castle and quickly hid when he realized what was happening.

How the turn tables! Now Vanellope is the one living in a fancy castle while Candy is the one homeless and wondering S.ugar R.ush

Now, however Ralph & everyone else discovered him I’m not quite sure yet, but it’d be interesting if KC waited until AFTER rbti to reveal himself. With Vanellope gone, he can easily take back his kingdom. bUT THAT’S A WISHLIST FOR ANOTHER DAY ANYHOO

Kiny Candy still has a glitch. Unlike Vanellope’s that gets worse when she’s anxious or upset, Candy’s gets worse when he’s mad. Turbo was his angry side, and Turbo will come out more and more when Candy isn’t as happy and jolly as he’d like to be.

He meets with the racers, his kids. Despite everything Candy still loves these kids with all his heart. He didn’t do anything to wrong them (well, after the whole take over the game thing). He was a good king, I think it would really help him if at least a few of them gave him a hug.

Redemption arc ?????? 

I dunno! I’d love to do more with him!
