TMayNT Day 12: Favorite Turtle Vehicle

The Turtle Van. Sometimes called the Party Wagon. This would be to the Ninja Turtles what the Batmobile would be to Batman. Throughout the franchise it would inspire a slew of expies such as 2k3's Battle Shell and 2012's Shellraiser.

But did you know that the Van showed up in the Mirage comics as well? While not a tricked-out superhero car, a nondescript van was used in the third issue to help transport the Turtles from their old lair (Ruined by Stockman's Mousers) to April's apartment. Of course, it was mistaken by the police for a van used in a bank robbery, leading to high-speed chase as the Turtles weren't keen on meeting New York's "Finest".

As always I think we’ll start here with the goodies I got in my stocking. So yeah I did get some stocking suffers. I did get the usual stuff some lil candies and a couple of candy canes and some chocolates and of course some of the lil hand soaps that I like but I also got the Hotwheels Premium Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Party Wagon!

I have the other regular Hot Wheels one but I was looking for this one too. I also received the Hotwheels Premium Thanoscopter (aka Thanos-Copter ) which was a Easter Egg from the Loki TV series and they made a toy of it. I originally seen this Hotwheels version online and was looking for it locally but never found it so I was extremely happy to get both of these in my stocking.

We also got a couple of Optimus Primes in our stocking again this year. we got both of the Hallmark ornaments We got the Wal-Mart exclusive Funko POP! Optimus Prime and the Halmark Keepsake Optimus Prime also! which are the first 2 of our "Christmas Primes" lol

and continuing with the Hallmark theme we we also got the Hallmark itty bittys Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Green Ranger Plush as well which is both cool and cute

and finally a lil Tomb Raider thing for my collection the BAM! Box Gamer Tomb Raider Clock of Ages Coin Prop Replica which I think is really cool and I'll have to get like a lil stand or something for it so I can put it up for display

#rottmnt #tmnt #my turtle art #fusion mayhem au #fmau #they're both really silly... a big thing for my 3-turtle fusions is they're the dynamic Without the missing turtle and to be a fun foil #van eyck -donnie's frustration with his brothers not taking things seriously like in purple jacket and also his insecurity with mystics #kepler is emotionally turbulent and highly clingy/protective to play on mikey's peace-keeping tendencies and his wish for independence #etc etc straightforward raph needing to wrangle Awful Scheming Cat Machiavelli leo needing to be The Responsible One with bosch etc etc #these guys have been 99% done for a long time and im finally posting em..now i actually have to finish my all 4 design.. back to the mines

Something that I was kind of thinking about is Kristoff Van Bradford's rivalry with Lou Jitsu

Splinter: Kristoff Van Bradford. You're the actor who wishes he was as tough and as handsome as Lou Jitsu!

Kristoff: Lou Jitsu is a has-been who never was.

Komodo Dragon students: Strike fast! Strike hard! Lou Jitsu is a scene-stealing hack!

From the human's perspective Lou Jitsu hasn't been seen in decades at least since Splinter got mutanted & also for however long Big Mama kept Splinter in the Battle Nexus, which kind of means that Kristoff has possibly been holding onto a grudge for someone he hasn't seen in years, which kind of makes me wonder what their history was like before Big Mama took Splinter to the Battle Nexus.
