today is such a strange day for me already.

i got upset over a thing, but i think i've mostly worked out my feelings on it and i'm okay with my initial reaction, which was valid, and how i feel about it now.

today is also my "dating" anniversary with my husband (are married couples supposed to keep up with things like that?) but today feels like a big one because we've officially been together for LITERALLY HALF OF MY LIFE! We started dating on May 1, 2006, when I was 17 and now it's May 1, 2023, and I'm 34.

For some reason I really wish I could share this milestone with not only my husband, but with my mom, but I just hope she's in Heaven celebrating for us and what feels like a HUGE accomplishment.

I'm also in my feels about certain writing partners on here and my other blogs that are just.... such wonderful people that deserve the world and I hope they realize how much I adore them and how thankful I am that they're in my life.

Cosplay photo dump PT2!

This is when I attended MCM in October as Cap'n Sparrow once again. I added a couple minor additions to my costume such as the Black Pearl keys he has at the start of Dead Man's Chest, the fur pelt hanging from his belt and I made the scabbard for his sword so I could finally bring it along!

(Spoiler alert, the sword was a hassle carrying it around during the train ride to and from London because it would not fit in a suitcase. XD)

Dressing up as Jack has gotta be the most fun costume I've ever worn so far, but you have to be so committed to wearing it and walking around in it for 5+ hours. Not to mention THE ITCHY FAKE MOUSTACHE.
