Ch.1 : The Incident

Yandere Twisted Wonderland x Reader

What do you do when the person you associated with the pinnacle of innocence absolutely shatters your perception of them? When the person you had come to grips with loving for their innocent curiosity and kind demeanor absolutely changes into a violent merciless monster at the drop of a hat? That was what the whole team of Diasomnia were dealing with as they watched you pummel a student black and blue with your friends genuinely struggling to pull you off. 

Hours before they had all come to an agreement: that they all loved you and were going to protect you. It was a big step for them as they previously had been walking on eggshells around each other when it came to you. Their developed feelings seemed to clash with their established relationships and their typical atmosphere was tense with competition. But after recalling your own inspiring words for teamwork (not directly said to them) they decided that they'd work it out. But that was when they were all under the impression that you were so innocent and compassionate that you needed their protection-let alone deserved it.

A student had apparently uttered a slur from your world, a seemingly made-up word you would use as you referred to people when you were comfortable. As soon as the word was said whatever expression you had on dropped only for it to morph into intense rage. Launching at them, you had the upper hand knocking away the wand they wanted to pull out. For a good ten seconds you were able to lay into this kid as everyone just kind of watched in awe as the Ramshackle prefect destroyed this student. 

Then Deuce and Ace are the first ones to try and assuage you away from your assault only to be ignored and pushed away as you continued. By then others intervened, Floyd with an unusually solemn face held you up by hooking his arms under your armpits leaving you to viciously kick at and wriggle towards the writhing student. Then Rook intervenes hooking his arms around your knees walking with Floyd as they carry you out of the cafeteria. The population of Night Raven is baffled as everyone just listens to the student cry and whimper in pain. Everyone was shocked, that you the sweet Ramshackle prefect actually wailed on a student for saying one word. 

Away from the crowd Rook and Floyd bring you to a still where you finally stop, huffing heavily your exhausted. Rook will offer for you to talk about it while Floyd will straight up not ask.

"Shrimp aren't fighters. What the heck was that?"

You'll either cry or just play with the ground as you give context to the word.

"That word is slur for people...who are like me..."

"Correct me if I'm wrong but don't you use this word occasionally?"

"Yeah...but it's okay for me to use it but not them."

"Well that sounds backwards..."

"No it isn't. It's my right, my way to take the meaning back. It used to be a way for people to discredit my existence but now I-my people-own it."

They parrot this, when Crowley and teachers question them. On the investigation that the student had a fair understanding of that and still said it ended up with you both being suspended for a week as well as writing an essay about your feelings.

Needless to say you were hanging around your dorm more often and looking more forward to seeing your fae friend wandering by. But you didn't and as you expected like most there was a wave of fear now, that steered him away. Despite the incident being properly narrated to the masses rumors still spread and your friends were hesitant to visit.

When he did finally come around he looked shocked to see you as if you hadn't been chilling on the property for that whole week. 

"I get it, it's cool. I guess everyone's just surprised about me, huh?"

You playfully scoffed waving with your back turned as you went inside Ramshackle. Malleus is met with a stinging pain in his chest; overwhelmed by guilt he finds he's become what he hates most. He, who evaded giving you his identity to avoid being ran from did the running from you when you were open and honest the whole time. He criticizes himself questioning what he truly loved about you. The blank slate? The fresh start? Your naiveté? For a friend he really let you down...and he wonders can he ever bring himself to be forgiven.

Lilia Vanrouge is saddened. While he was more realistic than the rest of his family in their image of you he was still surprised by this. No doubt he listened to your direct explanation right after the event. He comes around appearing behind corners and previously empty rooms acting playful with a gloomy you. Whether you indulge in his antics or get annoyed by him it does cheer you up, distracting you at its best. He finds himself falling harder for you; your not perfect and he loves that. 

"All the better to love you my dear!"

"That's not how the story goes."

" I know but don't you think that's better?"

Silver was shocked and it will take him a few days before he can properly sympathize. In fact it strengthens his resolve to be with you; he swore to protect you and that's what he plans to do. All these means is that your willing to fight for what you believe is right. Unfortunately his resolve is not really felt through this time, he so busy contemplating he misses the fact that you are unattended and feeling sad. It's only when Malleus reports his resolve that he realizes you've been suffering.

Sebek is the most shaken up by this. He was already making such a big leap to even consider a human as someone he loved. To find that the one you loved wasn't nearly the deity they depicted beforehand was anything but made it hard for him to accept. But he still continued to follow you around as much as he fought internally with himself about following a tainted human. So there are two ways he can rationalize the further warmth that intensifies when he recalls your pure unadulterated anger as you punched and kicked at the student. Of course he either rationalizes your rage as a justified reaction as grander being or that this was the result of you being tainted and thus its all his fault as he should have been more diligent about his duty.

"Hmm, Malleus?"

You were studying in a corner of the library tucked away from the larger groups of students who had all strictly kept to the other side of the space. The fae prince sat himself across from you staring until you finally looked up at him. He felt like you had stabbed him as you used his given name further spurring him to apologize.

"I wanted to properly apologize for leaving you in your time of need. I was just surprised to see that side of you."

You shrugged avoiding eye contact as you seemed to hyper focus on the words in front of you.

"Yeah, it's cool."

It didn't feel like it was 'cool' to Malleus so he lowered his head before pushing out his seat at the table. You were sure he was leaving for good, feeling the awkwardness of your fake acceptance before retreating. 

Coming around the table to your side was Malleus towering over you before getting on one knee as he set his hand on your knee. Your face, blooming in heat, was in a state of shock as you turned to him completely forgetting the book you were reading before.

"(Y/n), I truly am remorseful. I should've have been with you during this time for I know you would have done the same for me-"

He grabbed your flabbergasted hands in his pulling them towards him as you fearfully looked around at the whispering students. 

"Will you forgive me, (Y/n)? I want more than anything to reclaim our intimacy. I truly mean it, I have no intention of leaving you in any state if it isn't beside me-!"

"O-okay! I-i got it I got it! I forgive you, everything is fine, I forgive you! Just get up off the floor!"

As quietly as possible you tried to resolve the crowd's uproar of whispers with your forgiveness. Even if you felt pressured to you couldn't deny the sparkle in his emerald eyes as he had your forgiveness. He stands up still clasping your hands in his before declaring that he wished to celebrate.

"I think a sleep over would be a wondrous way to celebrate!"

Seemingly out of nowhere Lilia had plopped his stacks of books on the desk before coming close to you two with a sly smile. 

You were about to comment on his sudden proximity before you felt the leaning of someone's head at the small of your back. 

*Yawn* "Sleep over sounds nice...zzzz" Going back to sleep was Silver who was now in your seat and forcing you to stay in place lest he fall. Thinking it couldn't get much worse you almost failed to see Sebek appear behind you all before loudly proclaiming to the auspicious onlookers.

"HUZZAH!!! LORD MALLEUS AND THE (Y/N) HAVE RECONCILED!! YOU ARE ALLOWED TO REJOICE!"

"SHHHHHH!!"

"Sebek, please!"

You tried to calm him down but he seemed far to enraptured in whatever celebration he deluded himself into initiating. The best you could do was lead the Diasomnia posse out of the library in hopes to restore the peace.

*Spoilers for chapter 7*

Here are more of my thoughts on chapter 7 and the whole dream thing, I've seen people talk about it and I want in.

Regarding Yuu's dreams some people are saying that Malleus didn't give them a dream on purpose but there's something that's been bothering me about his UM and dreams in general.

Going off of Lillia's dream about his past, a past which we know Malleus knew little to nothing about but his magic was able to recreate perfectly.

So we know that Malleus himself doesn't need to know anything about the person sleeping, they're forming the dream themselves, just like he says he's watching over them not creating them.

I admit the way his magic works is not entirely clear, at least to me. But since it's meant to bring people happiness and he does it for everyone on Sage's Island even the people he doesn't necessarily care about or likes for example Leona. Then why wouldn't he do it for someone who he really cares about like Yuu.

From a game development standpoint it makes sense why the player character wouldn't have a dream like everyone else but from a story standpoint it makes me think there's some sort of a block or someone or something put them in the dream room with Mickey on purpose.

Anyway this post is just for me to talk about Malleus' UM so don't take it too seriously, but thank you for reading and I love you <3

TWST PAPA DRACONIA THEORY

So here's my take-

I've seen so many theories of Crowely being Revan/Levan but wouldn't Lillia have recognised him if he was? Sure he wears a mask and has fae like pointy ears and all but Lillia knew him so well. There's no way he wouldn't have recognised him if they were living in such closed quarters.

Is it possible for you to write a small bit about Mc talking to Lilia Vanrouge about how they also took care of children at their old world too? But children who just need a little more help than others via low/no-income, some mentally challenged, health conditions, over all being caring for those who need it the most because others won't or can't.

And explain that they want to go back home for them but scared they won't be able to. And admits they may be willing to restart their life and help others if they can't go back home.

You stirred the tea with your spoon, the soft ringing breaking the comfortable silence between you and Lillia. 

“So,” you said after taking a sip, “how was your day?”

“Quite uneventful really,” he responded while drinking his own tea. “Silver fell asleep in his classes again.”

Your eyebrows pulled together, “I hope he didn't get in too much trouble.”

“No, just a light scolding.”

You stared at the cup in front of you.

“He actually reminds me of someone.” You whispered. Lillia quirked an eyebrow in response, a small ‘oh’ escaping his lips.

“I used to work at a daycare,” you started, “There was this boy, Sam, he came in after school and stayed until his parents picked him up.” Lillia hummed in response. “He was always tired, and he used to fall asleep in his classes so he struggled with school a lot.” You took another sip of the rooibos. “He wasn't the only one there that struggled , and I really miss those kids.” You let out a small sigh. Lillia looked at you, with pity or compassion you couldn't tell.

“I couldn't imagine what it would be like if I was just taken from my children.” Lillia confessed, staring into his own cup.

“If I can’t go back,” the thought alone made your throat tighten, “Then I’ll try my best here.”

“That’s very kind of you,” he said, “and I’ll be happy to help if you need it.”

You shot him a smile and kissed him on the cheek. “Thanks for the offer.”

. He actually cried during most of the death scenes especially the ones with children

. He’s on the devils side like the devil actually offered the main characters a way out

. He thinks it was main characters fault for getting themselves into the situation

She looked around malleus was nowhere to be found there was only a crater in the ground

Malleus then did a green fire spewing attack

The blast reversed and then aimed towards malleus

Synopsis- reader tends to give really big and tight squeezes similar to Floyd whenever they hug/cuddle/get excited

Warnings- cursing, mood swings (Floyd), accidentally pushing away (riddle)

𝐑𝐢𝐝𝐝𝐥𝐞

•he collared you for the first time

•this didn’t really do shit though considering you have zero magic.

•takes him a second to realize then un-collars you!

•After a few times of him lying through his teeth about not liking it, you figured you should stop.

•But those squeeze times had found their way into his schedule, literally.

•so when you stop squeezing him it messes his schedule up! Which is absolutely unacceptable.

•usually he wouldn’t straight up tell you his feelings but his poor poor organized schedule was falling apart! And all because you stopped the squeezing.

•“Why aren’t you doing the squeeze thing anymore?”

•You opened your mouth to answer but seeing his unusually upset expression you kept it shut

•With a shake of your head you bring him into your arms with a big squeeze.

•”Awww you like my squeezes!”

•”shh… you have three hours to make up to me”

•that meaning he made you squeeze him in bed for three hours (after his already busy schedule)

𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐝

•he fell in love the moment you squeezed him.

•obviously it wasn’t as tight as he does it.

•but he still loves it nonetheless!

•he definitely pouts whenever you arnt squeezing him. Which makes it very inconvenient for Jade and you.

•he’s very clingy though, but if he saw you squeeze someone else, even if it was in a friend way. He gets so jealous!

•when you went to give him a squeeze a few hours after he saw it, he probably would yell at you.

•He has really bad mood swings so it’s not surprising but it didn’t hurt any less.

•depending on your personality this could go two ways-

•first way: you give him space

•he would be more aggressive towards everyone at first.

•Azul and Jade had begged you to calm him down but you stood your ground.

•not wanting to cross his boundaries.

•but after he gets his anger out one way or another, he realizes he royally fucked up.

•Definitely starts crying and finds you, drags you into a bed, and squeezes you. VERY HARD.

•ends in you either passing out or he falls asleep.

•second way: you wait like thirty minutes and give him another squeeze

•after about thirty minutes he should have probably calmed down

•other than his pout and occasional muttering he is actually holding onto you for dear life.

•both ways he bites you tho.

•HE IS LOVIN IT

•When you found him in the botanical garden asleep you thought this was the perfect time to cuddle with him

•momentarily forgetting about your habit

•it woke him up, he probably hisses at you, even when he realizes it’s you.

•Almost shoved you off until he notices that he really likes this.

•often orders Ruggie to escort you to him whenever he is in a bad mood or a squeeze mood.

•I’m gonna be honest I actually can’t imagine if he were to get mad at you for squeezing him, ironic considering his temper

•like Floyd he can and will bite you to get what he wants.

•he flops on top of you often and demands it with light insults.

•Maybe you should try squeezing him whenever he overblots that might work.

•soon finds out he can’t really sleep without the pressure around him.

•one night when you were on a small trip somewhere he couldn’t sleep, so he tried to squeeze himself with his tail.

𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐮𝐬

•craves it more than anything.

•please don’t stop. He will actually cry.

•he’s really touch staved, so whenever you show up and squeeze him, he returns the gesture

•thinks of it as a human way of expressing love

•which it is to you.

•he’s so adorable, you can’t understand why anyone is Afraid of him. Of course he can be scary but not to you

•He also cries when you do squeeze him, but out of happiness. So either way, if you do or don’t, he will still probably cry.

•Sebek scolds you a lot because you started this and now he often gets really mad and causes thunderstorms.

•sneaks into your dorm and kicks grim off the bed and onto the couch

•poor grim :(

•Sometimes when he’s had a particularly bad day and he needs to unwind he will come to you. Which usually ends up with him letting out some of his more dragon features.

•Not fully though, unless you are okay with him destroying a bit of your dorm house.

•overall he loves you dearly, wouldn’t trade this for anything at all.

•please keep going!

𝐋𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚

•he teases you all the time for it.

•the first time though he was genuinely surprised but wiped that expression off his face VERY quickly

•he sleeps upside down so sometimes he will ask you if you wanna stay upside down with him and do your thing

•most of the time your squeezing sessions will turn into play fight or tickle session instead

•he gets really giddy when it happens

•don’t be fooled though, he will threaten anyone you squeeze.

•also might curse them or something but you don’t need to know that!

•He’s smitten for you though, and even when it sometimes doesn’t feel like it because of his playful demeanor, he truly appreciates these moments with you

•might sometimes mutter things under his breath before he falls asleep in your arms.

• “don’t let me go..”

• “your squeezes are mine…”

•he means the second one in all seriousness though.

•this is one of the most vulnerable times when he is too sleepy to keep his silly facade

•not saying he isn’t silly naturally, but sometimes he covers up his problems with his cuteness or calm demeanor.

•He’s usually not as silly when he’s not with you, but again, sometimes he uses it to cover that he is hurting

•so please don’t call the things he is saying at the moment “silly” because he means them with his whole heart.

•just keep squeezing and reassuring him, and he will open up!

Note- totally not based off the fact I squeeze ppl when I hug/cuddle

Malleus: but a ring is a symbol of love for humans, no? It is something that symbolizes a forever with that person and if my child of man were to look at it they would always remember my love for them as well, no?

Malleus: Perfect. Well then, thank you for the help father

Lilia: Malleus, wait you have to-

Lilia, sighing: Oh dear~ Young ones these days are so passionate

*Somewhere at Ramshackle dorm*

Mc/Y/N/Yuu, sneezing: achoo!

Grim: hey! You better not get the great Grim sick! Not that I can get sick anyways!!
