So I was going through Camp Vargas again after realizing I hadn’t commented on it at all. I was gonna go through all the stuff I liked, but I liked a lot of it. So instead…

This is my Vargas callout post

The students in this camp were worried for their fucking lives okay. After Ace, Leona, and Deuce disappeared, they were concerned. But once Vargas disappeared with a terrified MC and Grim to tell the tale of him screaming for help, now everyone is scared as hell

They’re literally spending the night by the fire out of fear they’re gonna get attacked too. They’re all staying awake in the light and warmth. Then, uh oh, the group that left the light to get blankets are gone now too. Fear is rising

And then this shit fucking happens:

There’s no way in fucking hell these kids aren’t traumatized. At least more than they already were. NRC definitely needs a therapist now geezus

Then the remaining four started treating this like a life or death scenario. Ruggie’s logic was that one of them needed to survive to tell Crowley about this. One of them needed to survive. They’re taking in the possibility of death. Like that’s no normal camp trip shit

And then we see this fucking beast after they agree to fight it and just

Ruggie, Sebek, Jack, and Floyd were up before the sun rose, up all day, and then up all night until the sun rose again. They were up for over 24 hours cause they couldn’t sleep for fear they’ll be killed. They were pushing their magic to the limits and risking overblot (which we know to be hella fucking dangerous) out of fear of dying if they didn’t.

So in conclusion

Mini disclaimer: this is all in good fun, I loved this event, I just wanna strangle Vargas just a little you know

Film Research Student A: Seems like it'll be kinda hard to get food for everyone in the film research club...

Vil: Are you complaining even before we begin? Show some positivity.

Malleus: …

Vil: Oh my, if it isn't Malleus. I see you're fishing, too. How are they biting?

Malleus: I haven't fished anything up as of yet.

Vil: I see… Then, this is perfect.

Vil: How about you and I have a little competition?

Malleus: What? A competition?

Vil: That's right. Simply fishing like this would be tiresome, wouldn't it? If we must do this, let us have a little fun.

Vil: Just think of it like one of the recreational activities done during camping. What do you think? Will you join me?

Malleus: Huh… Sounds fun. Something as mundane as fishing is much to easy for someone like me.

Vil: It's settled, then.

Vil: Let's see just who will catch the first fish… The game is on!
