Seen people make fun of the chibi LIBs and even saw someone say they don't look like official Starkid merch, and like I get it. They look silly and it's fun to say they're Walmart Lords, but I think it needs to be said again that Starkid ISN'T a big company with ton of money

Why haven't we gotten more Wiggly dolls? Because Nick said they're expensive to make. Now imagine that but with all the Lords. It just isn't possible when Starkid works mostly through fan donations. We got these simple, repeatable pattern, low detail Lords because that was the best option. Ofc we don't know what fully goes on in the Starkid HQ (tm), but it's important to remember Starkid is still a small independent company who do their best with what they've got

“I lied,”

James startled, he’d been so wrapped up in planning the first year camper activities that he hadn’t heard the creak of the cabin door that any other time would have alerted him to a new presence. Regulus stood in front of him, his face betraying no emotion as usual. However, the nervous way he alternated between resting his hands against his sides and sliding them in his pockets like he didn’t know what to do with them gave him away.

“About…?”

“I can’t— I swear I didn’t mean to lie, but when Barty told me about this job, he didn’t tell me that one of the requirements was being able to swim…”

“Regulus… please don’t tell me you can’t-“

“Swim. I can’t swim.”

Now how was James supposed to respond to that?

He wanted to be angry, the most important thing as a camp counselor was the safety of the campers. That’s exactly why they were all required to know how to swim. But looking at Regulus now, a deep red slowly spreading across his face from embarrassment, James realized he didn’t have it in him to be upset.

So, he laughed.

He laughed harder than he had in days, then looked up at Regulus’ indignant face, and laughed some more.

“Whatever, I’ll find another summer job. Sorry for wasting your time,”

When he turned to leave, James immediately sobered up.

“Wait no, Regulus,” He stood up and took a deep breath, wiping the tears from his eyes. “Look, it’s okay. We still have over a week until campers show up. That’s plenty of time for me to teach you,”

Regulus eyed him warily, slowly moving back to where he’d been standing, “Teach me? You’d do that?”

“And I won’t even tell Minnie.” He grinned.

what motivates you to have drawn etho for this long? the dedication is really impressive!

Ive gotten people who say that the Etho is the highlight of their day or that it makes them smile or that they get inspired from my art. around the time I started this account I was kinda just leaving highschool and getting into collage. I was frequently faced with the question “what do you want to do with your life?” And there are two answers; I want to create, and I want to make people happy. this account kinda helps me achieve that?? This sounds melodramatic but even if it’s small, minuscule even, it still makes me happy to know that im making others happy. Also people saying that my art is good really means a lot to me cause in art school it’s easy to tear yourself down and compare yourself to others (a habit im trying to break) So this helps me have a healthier view on my art.

I think that a big problem with Fanon Reigen is that people want him to be much more pathetic but much less cringe than he actually is. He needs to be generally functional but also just *excruciatingly* embarrassing on a personal level.

kind of lame tbh how sakura in the chuunin exams arc is shown to cut off her hair as a symbol for her independence and coming into her own power (since she grew them out in the first place cuz she thought it might make sasuke like her) but then at the end of the story she still ends up being defined solely by her crush on him. like during the war arc kakashi makes it her most defining trait when he thinks to himself abt how team 7 has grown and they each have changed, he says abt sakura that her feelings for sasuke have changed. and in the end, when sasuke and naruto are about to take off to the valley of the end, she again, begs him to be with her. even says that she is pathetic for doing so like .. okay

ngl yall, not to drag Stede's voice acting abilities down or anything, but I'd listen to Zheng's silky smooth voice tell me Pinnochio's story 300 hundred times over nonstop 5ever and ever until i wilted away like a dead flower and perished. if she narrated a fucking dictonary i think i'd just evaporate immediately. if I was a pirate and she raided my ship I'd beg for her to throw me in the dungeons just so i could sneak away like a rat and hear her say stuff. I need to hear her say "bumfluzzed".
