touching back on this post i made

a slowburn, rivals to lovers, wlw, magical girl au

just a little thought. ming-ming is both an idol and a magical girl. very popular, and adored by her fans and general public. shes been a magical girl for a MINUTE. idk how its awakened what the power are etc. its just an idea.

hiromi, before becoming a magical girl. is just so. ugh. done. because its always mingming this mingming that. her music is mid. its not hiromi's cup of tea. and she'd like to go just ONE day without having to hear about ming ming.

flash foreward hiromi's awakening. she touches a weird rock or something after getting sperated from her class on a field trip. (insert the typical animals that follow magical girls are the bladebreakers or something idk. i need something. will consider the idea further. i just think it would be funny for the four of them following her around being themselves as she learns how to do magical girl stuff)

her first night as a magical girl goes well. but the next night is awful because mingming intercepts who she is saving and steals the credit. and its on the rivalry begins. and its a lot of mingming coming in on what hiromi is trying to fight and defeating it. and oh my god it makes hiromi's blood BOIL.

insert additional magical girls. that come along and help hiromi learn the ropes. help her develop her powers (because the boys are not helpful at all and are honestly just comic relief)

and slowly we are building to the BIG BADDY. Hiromi getting stronger and holding her own, mingming not having a chance to swoop in a defeat things. hiromi making a name for herself

ming ming falls first. shes in over her head. and the girls come and save her. with hiromi killing whatever is about to seriously harm her.

progressing as the story does. ming ming making her rounds just to watch hiromi do her thing. killing beasts and monsters. they all end up teaming up for a mission/whatever and bonding.

and whatever. their big lesbean love (idk man their powers together create a 10x multiplier or something. i have NOT thought this through) ends up being just the key to kill the big baddy boss that's been causing all the issues the entire story line. kiss kiss theyre finally admitting theyre in love.
