All proceeds will go to ChildHelp.org, an organization that works to help abused children. It was such a fantastic experience making this with Makena, she is such an incredible artist. Go read it!

The “persimmon guy” saves the super ripe squishy ones for me every fall. He said they can’t sell these and asked me for my persimmon pudding recipe. 📖 This was about 1/3 of what he gave me for $2.50!!! 🧡🍁 Annually, about 1.3 billon tons of food is wasted and up to 30% if that is because of appearance. So next time you’re shopping try going for the less than perfect looking fruit & veggies, it might even save you some money.💰

Gardenia: What soothes you when you’re stressed? 

mmmmm not enough things i think, hehe. cooking can calm me down. specific kinds of comfort from close friends. taking hot and elaborate baths with far too many lush products. also, there’s always the wild notion of actually getting to the root of the stressor and trying to change it, which can be shockingly effective, who would have thought!
