Scorpius smoothed down his hair, it wasn’t as perfect as he liked but he did just come straight from the airport--his things hastily dropped in his hotel before tidying up and coming straight to the wedding. He held a flute of champagne in his hand as he bit down on his bottom lip, wondering if anyone would miss the center piece of the table. He blinked when someone stepped close to him, “I’m absolutely paying attention and not doing anything suspicious...” he quipped with a smile.

Alastor tapped his finger against his chin as he looked at the other, “Let me guess...hm, nope. I can’t figure it out. What are you even supposed to be?”

“Unless you’ve started a war with another country, please get out of my office.” She said, not even bothering to look up from her paperwork. Olivia had wanted this position because it was supposed to be pretty high up but with little-to-no work. Apparently the last person in the position just didn’t do their job because she had stacks of papers on her desk constantly.

Pansy wasn’t going to go. She repeated that phrase when she first heard whisperings of the wedding, when she began dusting her old dresses, even when she was getting dress. But at the end of the day, she couldn’t picture herself anywhere else. So, she hid, or tried to, in the crowd of people all celebrating the couple. Pansy drank from her flute of champagne, “I would have chosen different drapes, that’s for sure.”

“You can just put it over there,” she commented as the other walked in, carrying a box into her office, moving things back in after winter break. “Honestly, I think that’s nothing breakable and just all the papers and exams I didn’t grade the past month.”

“Okay, not to sound cynical but do you think marriage actually can work? Like we live for so long and I don’t see the point in settling down with just one person for the rest of your life... Like... what if you get bored?”

♕ ---- “If my work asks, I’m super terribly sick,” Rose chuckled as she placed a medium sized snow ball on top of the larger one that she just made. “It’s too cold to even think about work right now.”

♕ ---- Carefully, she set the boxes of candy down on the table in front of her. “Please take these off my hands. I can’t keep eating these and keep up with my training schedule,” she said with a chuckle. “I may have gone overboard on the after valentine’s day sales but the prices were a steal for French chocolate. I couldn’t resist.”

James smiled as a toddler ran in front of him and cut off his path to the store. He couldn’t help but laugh when his younger siblings came running after them. “Like little ducklings,” He smiled at the other person, “Kids are cute. I’m probably biased, but still.”
