((Tang found Mei after she fell into the underground as a young child. Her parents where not good people and she ran away. Growing up her best friend became red son. Red son wants nothing more than be the one who finds someone with Monkey Kings powers- freeing them all from the underground. And impressing his dad.

(Btw I’m not changing any of the Lego Monkie kid character’s personality’s in this au. Just the circumstances)
