Beads of sweat rolled down your head as you frantically switched your sleeping position and clutched your bed sheets tightly. The memories of the horrible dream still lingered inside your head as you woke up with a jolt. A pair of arms encircled your body and hugged you tightly as you hugged back and let your tears drench his shirt.

"It's okay Darling! It's just a nightmare, I'm here." Draco's tired yet worried voice reached your ears and saved you from being snatched away by the dark and twisty arms of the memory of the nightmare that stole your sleep.

Half an hour went by within the blink of an eye. Draco was relentless in his efforts to calm you down and ground you back to reality. 

"I don't think I can sleep anymore, you want to go for a walk?"

"Walk? Now? It's three in the morning, Draco."

"That makes it even more perfect. It's so calm outside. Come on Darling, it'll be worth it,trust me."

He asked you to trust him, and you trusted him with your entire life. Covering yourself with a robe, you took Draco's hand in yours, just like you always did. 

The noises of the crickets in the summer air, made for an eerily beautiful atmosphere. The fireflies shining bright,competing with the stars in the dark abyss of the night sky as they shone through the bushes. The calm waters of the lake shone as the moonlight fell on it.

 A gentle breeze blew past ,as you both stood facing the lake. Hands intertwined with each other's, your head on his shoulders. Pressing a kiss on your forehead as an affirmation of his promise of always staying by your side, no matter what happens, you turn to look at him. Adoration fills your eyes as your gaze meets his. You gently press your lips onto his ,to let him know that you, too, will always be there with him,always.

Draco crouched down to his son's height to make sure that his jacket was pulled up properly so that no snow could enter and get him sick.

"Daddy! Look Snow!" The four year old babbled.

"Yes, I know my dear, we are going to make snow angels. For that I need you to lay down."

"Okay."

Y/n rested her head on the back door with a cup of steaming hot coffee in her hands and a huge smile on her face,as she watched the two most important people of her life create memories. Her smile widened as she watched Draco move his arms wide up and down, showing the movements to his son. Scorpius did exactly that,but when it came to the leg movements, he failed to understand what his Daddy was trying to convey.

"Hey Y/n, why don't you come here and show Scorp how to move his legs for the angel?"

"Draco,it's just the three of us in here,no one's watching you. Just show him."

Heaving a sigh, he laid down next to Scorpius and showed him the movements which Scorpius followed like the obedient son he was. 

"Daddy,look, it's an angel. I made a snow angel!"

"Yes you did, Bubs! I'm so proud of you! I love you and your mum so much!"

Summary: The journey of love between Draco Malfoy, the son of a CEO and Y/n Y/l/n , an ordinary employee. That's it, I am sorry,I couldn't come up with a better summary without giving away too much!

The low amount of caffeine in the tea wasn't helping much in holding up her eyelids which were drooping down, and for the first time in her life,she was regretful of having a dislike towards the bitter beverage. The smell of parchment and paper calmed her nerves to an extent, but it didn't lessen the searing pain which spread across her forehead due to the lack of proper sleep.Another stack of files and papers landed on her desk with a loud thud as soon as she laid her head down for a while to soothe her searing migraine. Raising her head with a groan of annoyance, she was met with the strict but concerned gaze of her boss.

"Y/n, I know you're tired but I really need these files checked and approved urgently. I am really sorry sweetie, if you feel sick,then you can take your leave already." Mrs. Johnson was a woman of motherly nature. Having lost her own son at a young age, she doted on Y/n and cared for her like her own daughter.

"It's okay Mrs.Johnson , I can handle this. Better to get this done than prolong it any further."

"Oh and yes, Y/n. Remember to be here on Friday, you know how important this deal is for our company.  I need you to be there with me at this party. But, you can excuse yourself in case you fall sick."

"Aye Aye Captain!"

"Better be like that, don't forget this at any cost. Is that okay?"

"Yes ma'am!"

"Now go get these files done."

Without wasting a second she scurried off to get her job done. The heels of shoes clicked on the floor as she hurried down the plush hallways of her office building. Her black pencil skirt reaching her knees and a crisp white shirt made her look like someone with high authority. Her mannerisms didn't help with reducing this deception any further.

Going by the looks of her, no one would have guessed that she is just a normal secretary who had to live in an old apartment, with the bare necessities to keep her stomach full and somehow at the end of the day, manage to look after her family. Where people of her age spent their twenties enjoying their life to the fullest, she was "stuck" looking after her ailing mother and taking care of her teenage brother,all in her early twenties. Not that she hated looking after them, she only wished sometimes if she had more money and amenities to provide for her family. Which is why she drowned herself in her work. Even to the extent of getting herself sick because of work overload,but all she cared about was making her family's life a bit more comfortable.

While she was returning back to Mrs. Johnson with the files, her phone buzzed. She knew it was her mum for sure, this made her even more worried. Manoeuvring her file-filled hands to get her phone and placing it on her shoulder,tilting it up and holding it close to her ear, she spoke,"Hey Mum, is everything okay? Do I need to get home? Are you feeling sick again? Do I need to call the hospital?"

"No Dear, I'm fine, You need to calm down."

"Yeah mum, I know."

" I just wanted to let you know that Jack needs some new notebooks, can you get them while you're on your way back home?."

"Okay mum, I will get them."

"Thank you sweetheart! Remember to be back home soon! I already miss you and Jack needs help with his homework. "

"Yeah mum, I will. Take care, Bye."

That was a part of Y/n's normal and mundane life. It had been four years since she graduated from Hogwarts, yet she was still figuring out her life.  Ever since her mum fell ill, all her dreams dashed to the ground and broke into a million pieces. But,she was more than determined to not let the same thing happen to her brother. Investing all of her savings for her brother's education,she took up multiple jobs to feed herself and her family. Finally landing a secure job as Mrs.Johnson's PA, she earned enough to feed her family and lead a nearly comfortable life while paying for her mum's medical bills.

"Mum, I have given away that dress to Katie,she needed it for some event and now she has it with her in New York." She replied as she frantically searched for a dress that she could wear to the office event. 

As much as she knew, some big company was investing in the one in which she worked and she, as Mrs.Johnson's Personal Assistant , had to accompany her. Mrs. Johnson was the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of this company and currently it was facing huge losses due to recession in the economy. 

Finally agreeing to wear an elegant looking dress,she took a look at the woman standing on the other side of the reflective plane called the mirror. She stood in awe at the sight of herself. Self-appreciation wasn't her forte and not everyday did she feel this pretty. Even though she was called pretty by many if not everyone, sometimes she just felt……..not enough. 

Planting a kiss on her mother's and her brother's forehead,she bid them goodbye and hauled a cab to reach her destination. Everything about the atmosphere of the party screamed business in hushed tones,even to an outsider. Being greeted with a champagne flute, she took in the look of the venue. Safe to say, it definitely was the most posh event that she had attended in her entire life. A huge chandelier hung in the centre of the ceiling, giving a soft but sophisticated golden glow to the hall. Men and women ,decked in expensive finery which probably was equal to the rent for two months that she had to pay, were chatting about their monetary investments and making small talk. The hall itself was big enough to be the residence of twenty families. 

Rich people and their folly. She thought as she let out an almost silent but mocking chuckle. Searching for a familiar face, she moved her gaze from one corner of the hall to the other ,in desperate need of some sort of company. Then as if by some miracle,she finally spotted Martha,her colleague. She was chatting with someone who had his back turned towards Y/n. The only features of him being visible were his platinum blonde hair,his massive height and his sophisticated charm which could be felt from miles away.

"Darling, are you ready yet?" Yelled out the man of the house to his wife as he spritzed on some expensive cologne to his neck.

"Yes,but can you help me put on this necklace first?" Y/n came down to the hall clad in an elegant dress looking every bit like the Queen she is. Draco's jaw fell wide open as she descended down the stairs. She looked even more beautiful day by day and her beauty wasn't fading anytime soon. She's eternally beautiful! Draco thought to himself. 

"You don't need a necklace, you already look so beautiful! I mean,you can wear a rag and still look stunning!" 

"Oh stop it!" She playfully hit his chest lightly as she hid her face in it while he embraced her. Taking the necklace from her hand,he turned her around and put it on her. Turning her around again to face him, he pressed his lips onto hers and captured her into a passionate kiss.

"Happy Anniversary, Mrs.Malfoy." 

"Happy Anniversary to you too Mr.Malfoy." Getting hypnotized in each other's eyes,they got busy kissing each other again, before they even realized it.

"Ewwww,gross!" 

Their children, Scorpius and Lyra yelled out loud from the kitchen as soon as they saw their parents lip-locking. Rolling his eyes at them, he went towards the kitchen and picked up the pouty toddler and placed a kiss on her forehead, knowing that she was mad at her Father for kissing her mother. 

"Are you happy now?"

"No! Bad Daddy! You kissed mommy befowe me!"

"Sorry Princess, I will get you ice-cream when we come back. Is that okay?"

"Okay Daddy!" She hugged him.

"Scorpius, remember, do not give trouble to Grandma and make sure that Lyra doesn't do the same too, got that?" Y/n instructed him with a concerned tone.

"Yes mum, uhh..Mum?"

"Yes baby?

"When will you both be back?"

"We'll try to return as soon as possible! We promise!"

A knock on the door and Narcissa entered with Lucius trailing behind her. "Happy Anniversary you two! Oh look at the little darlings! How much they have grown up!"

So, this is a genuine question - apologies if it is odd at all. If it makes you uncomfortable, feel free to ignore it.

I'm a baby witch interested in Hindu (otherwise known as vedic) astrology - I've been trying to find sources to read up on for it, and don't plan to really do anything with it other than read my own chart and maybe others for practice and out of interest. I've believed in astrology since I was a child, and upon hearing about vedic'd accuracy, took interest.

But I'm also aware it has heavy cultural ties, and feel nervous about stepping on toes as I am white and not actively practicing Hinduism - although through Vedic, it caught my interest and I've considered Hinduism as well, though I can't say for certain if I'll end up converting to the lifestyle or religion.

I'm unsure if Hinduism practices are closed - as I've read conflicting information - and even if it won't be used for profit, I wouldn't want to disrespect the culture or any Gods. I guess this is me seeking advice from someone who does worship them - if it's alright of course.

I wish I could help you with any sources on Vedic astrology but since I'm not very educated on that stuff myself.

But one thing I can assure is that astrology isn't connected to religion and you can freely study it and even look up the astrology charts and all those stuff. You won't be disrespecting any culture or gods or practices. One advice is that try to get an in depth look at whatever knowledge you'll be getting while studying Vedic astrology. Cuz it's a practice that's been going on for thousands and thousands for years and is still active today.

And no. No branch of Hinduism is closed in any way! Hinduism is a fully open religion and practice. Open to all. Just be respectful and yeah mistakes do happen. I often do things wrong despite being a person who belongs to this culture. But you can always learn and correct yourself!

Otherwise I think @unmadana might be able to help you with Vedic astrology. Since I consider myself way too uneducated on the subject to speak about it lmao.

The Moon and the Yew Tree

This is the light of the mind, cold and planetary. The trees of the mind are black. The light is blue. The grasses unload their griefs on my feet as if I were God, Prickling my ankles and murmuring of their humility. Fumy, spiritous mists inhabit this place Separated from my house by a row of headstones. I simply cannot see where there is to get to.

The moon is no door. It is a face in its own right, White as a knuckle and terribly upset. It drags the sea after it like a dark crime; it is quiet With the O-gape of complete despair. I live here. Twice on Sunday, the bells startle the sky——— Eight great tongues affirming the Resurrection. At the end, they soberly bong out their names.

The yew tree points up. It has a Gothic shape. The eyes lift after it and find the moon. The moon is my mother. She is not sweet like Mary. Her blue garments unloose small bats and owls. How I would like to believe in tenderness——— The face of the effigy, gentled by candles, Bending, on me in particular, its mild eyes.

I have fallen a long way. Clouds are flowering Blue and mystical over the face of the stars. Inside the church, the saints will be all blue, Floating on their delicate feet over the cold pews, Their hands and faces stiff with holiness. The moon sees nothing of this. She is bald and wild.
