Urdu is unnecessarily seductive, like lover means dildar, hurt means dilazari, enchanting means dilfraib, dilgirifta means sad, flirting means dilphishori, and beloved means dilber !

Four poets same types of pain:
Erin Stewart:
"When the wounds that deep, its the healing, that's hurts."
Parveen Shakir:
"Hum tou samjhe the ki ek zakhm hai bhar jayega, kya khabar thi ki rag-e-jaan mein utar jayega"
Ammar Iqbal:
"Main ne chaha tha zakhm bhar jayen, zakhm hi zakhm bhar gaye mujh mein"
Sahir Ludhianvi:
"Hum tou samjhe the ki hum bhool gaye hain un ko, kya hua aaj ye kis baat pe rona aaya"

In English we says:
Perhaps, somewhere, someday, at a less miserable time, we may see each other again.
But In Urdu we says:
Khatam hone ko hai safar shayad, phir mileingey kabhi magar shayad.

When Ashfaq Ahmed wrote: “Aik ghaibi asool yai bhi hai k jo cheez taqseem karo gey ussi cheez ki tumhare paas farawani hojayegi, phir wo daulat ho, izzat ho, ilm ho, mohabbat ho, darguzar ho, khana ho ya aasaniyaan” he really taught us the greatest hack of life.

Urdu is such a beautiful language;
It uses different words for rising intoxication and it wearing off. 'Suroor (سرور) is used for charhta hova nasha and 'Khumar (خمار) is utarta hova nasha.

When Abida Parveen Said:
ساری خوشیاں مل جاون تے پچھے کی رے جاناں
She was referring to human desires. There is no end to human desires. We are not used to celebrating our greatest achievements. However, when bad things happen to us, even if it is just as bad or worse than nothing at all, we are prone to take them very personally. We complain to Allah about our bad luck. What will the taste of health be like if there is no disease?غم کو سہنے میں بھی قدرت نے مزا رکھا ہے

when someone said; “na dil se hota hai, na dimag se hota hai, ye pyaar tou ittefaaq se hota hai, par pyaar kar ke pyaar hi mile, ye ittefaaq kisi kisi k saath hota hai” and wajid shaikh said; “ittefaaq se milne waly marzi se bichar jaate hain” damn i felt this in my heart.
