I’ve been wanting to practice drawing to make placeholder art for my Android game that isn’t complete rubbish, so I’m getting myself an iPad and Apple pencil for my birthday.  But there’s a free engraving promotion.  After two hours of failing to find a couplet I like that was short enough for the character limit, I settled on a quote from graffiti found in Pompeii:

Amat qui scribet, pedicatur qui leget, qui opsultat prurit, paticus est qui praeterit. Ursi me comedant; et ego verpa qui lego.

Thus my iPad is inscribed with the punchline to an ancient Roman dick joke, and my Apple pencil is inscribed with VOX NIHILI.
