pogue. lives not too far from the chateau with her brothers and her dad. their mom split when she was just a baby, so she never really know her. works as a waitress at kiara’s parents restaurant. her first kiss was with jj maybank when she was 13.
bad klepto. started the nasty habit after her first kiss. it was also around the same time she tried her first cigarette and had her first beer. as she’s gotten older, it went from stealing a pack of gum to now stealing from her job at a boutique.
has a mean right hook. grew up with all brothers so she had to learn to defend herself at all times. she has a sharp tongue, super quick witted. has “roast battles” with jj and pope all the time.
loves to do makeup. one thing that helps with her unmedicated anxiety is doing her makeup. she’s perfected the “duvalin” makeup look.
I pair her the best with toxic ex bf!rafe. they’ve been on and off since she was 13 (big year for her). when she’s not dating rafe, she’s making him jealous by spending more time with jj. they fight and make up every other month, it’s ridiculous, but they just work together so well so they keep coming back to each other.

kook. but she’s humble. works at a mom and pop ice cream shop, and as a golf cart girl at the country club in the summers. her father owns an oil ridge company (yikes) and her mother was a high fashion model in the 90’s. has a golden retriever named riley.
really good swimmer. got a scholarship to usc. teaches swim lessons to underprivileged kids on the cut.
super smart. took every ap class you can think of. was head girl at kildare academy her senior year. got a full ride not only for her athletic ability, but for her academic achievements as well. was on nhs and the student council board.
theatre kid. she started when she was a kid, but ended after high school. it was strictly a local theatre company, never anything in school. she mostly played supporting roles, such as rusty in footloose! her only big role was elle in legally blonde: the musical.
I pair her the best with soft!rafe. he adores her because she’s not afraid to speak her mind and fight for what she believes in. she doesn’t put up with shit, which keeps him grounded. despite her toughness, she’s really nice and outgoing. people call her the “golden girl” because she’s “perfect” in every way.

Flight to Vietnam (7/5-7/6) | Hallie Yong (USC)
Today, we finally departed on our long-awaited mission trip! Despite the months of preparation and weeks full of anticipation, the day of our departure and the long journey felt oddly neutral to me, as if I myself hadn’t fully processed the fact that I was going to be in Vietnam soon even when I arrived at the airport. With everyone gathered at the entrance of Ontario’s small international terminal, we left quite an impact on the few ordinary passengers watching with wide eyes as our massive group lined up one by one with heaps of luggage and MEMO boxes to be checked in.
Above: 15gers playing card games while waiting to depart
It was my first time flying internationally since before the pandemic, so I was a bit excited for the airplane meals and in-flight entertainment. I watched Michi play golf on her screen next to me and picked out a couple movies to watch for our twelve hour flight, but ended up sleeping through most of it anyway.
Above: My seatmate, Michi, playing golf
After a long, long plane ride, we finally landed in Taiwan for our layover. While half of the group only had two hours in between, the other half of us were left waiting in the airport for NINE hours… A small group decided to leave the airport for a quick trip around Taipei while the others stayed behind to wander the airport’s various stores and exhibits. In an airport with so much to do, nine hours flew by in a flash!
Above: 9-hour layover in Taiwan
The final flight into Vietnam felt anticlimactic after such a long day of travel, but reality finally hit with the wave of heat that greeted us as soon as we stepped off the plane. We scrambled to reunite with our MEMO boxes and were relieved to see that all had made it safely, despite not being in the best shape. The bus was overflowing by the time we had every luggage, box, and person accounted and packed for, but we happily set off to reunite with the rest of the group. As expected, we were all exhausted by the time we got to dinner. The food was delicious but it became hard for us to eat well when all we wanted to do was sleep — luckily, it seemed like everyone was on the same page there so we wrapped up quickly and turned in for a good night’s rest. When my friends and family asked if I was excited or nervous before we left, somehow, my answer was neither? Now that I’m finishing this journal entry, I can officially say the answer is both! As I fall asleep tonight, I can’t wait to see how all of our hard work throughout the year will come to fruition in the next two weeks.

'Same-age friend' Jennifer Song takes on the role of caddy in the Q series starting on December 1st
Jennifer Song is participating in the Q Series with her friend Yang Hee-young, who has 5 wins in total, serving as her caddy.
Yang Hee-young (34), who reached her 5th win in 4 years and 9 months in the final match of the LPGA Tour season, will participate in the LPGA Tour Qualifying Tournament starting on the 1st of next month (Korean time). (Q) I'm going to the series.
Yang Hee-young did not apply for the Q series.
LPGA.com introduced on the 30th that Yang Hee-young will serve as a caddy for Jennifer Song, a Korean-American who is a friend of the same age and a long-time LPGA tour colleague.
Jennifer Song, who was born in the United States while her father was an exchange professor in the United States, completed high school in Korea, but acquired American citizenship after graduating from the University of Southern California (USC).Her Korean name is Song Min-young.
Jennifer Song ranked second in the money rankings of the second division tour in 2010 and advanced to the LPGA tour the following year, but has not yet tasted victory.
This year, he only ranked 155th in the prize money rankings and 149th in CME Globe points, so he lost his tour card for next year.To play on the LPGA Tour again, you must rank in the top 20 in the Q Series.

Did he sell out his country?
June 8, 2023
New reporting by CNN that federal prosecutors have obtained an audio recording of a 2021 meeting in which twice-impeached former president Donald Trump boasts of holding on to a classified Pentagon document about a potential attack on Iran has put the spotlight back on his theft of government secrets and what he may have done with them.
According to the report, Trump’s comments on the recording suggest he wanted to share the information, but that he was aware he could not declassify records as an ex-president. Regardless, when asked at CNN's town hall last month if he showed secret documents to anyone after leaving the White House, he replied with a less-than-forthright, "Not really." And then added, "I would have the right to."
If he did share national defense information — and the evidence suggests he might have — it may well be a violation of the Espionage Act. Enacted in 1917 right after the US entered World War I, this law makes it a crime to convey such information with the intent to harm the US or assist a foreign nation and is punishable by fine or imprisonment for not more than 10 years, or both.
The Washington Post added that the tape reveals Trump discussing this plan to attack Iran during a July 2021 meeting at his golf club in Bedminster, NJ with a roomful of people who lacked the appropriate security clearances. Prompting former federal prosecutor Andrew Weissman to declare, "If this audio tape exists, this is not a question of if there are going to be charges, but it's a question of when."
What kind of charges? Ryan Goodman, NYU law professor and former special counsel in the Department of Defense, says,
Make no mistake. This is squarely an Espionage Act case. It is not simply an "obstruction" case. There is now every reason to expect former President Trump will be charged under 18 USC §793(e) of the Espionage Act. The law fits his reported conduct like a hand in glove.
It remains to be seen whether the DOJ will charge Trump solely with obstruction or add the more serious crime of espionage. He clearly pilfered those secret documents for a reason. Was it merely to wave them around and show people how important he is? Or was his intent to sell US national defense secrets to some foreign government, like Saudi Arabia or Russia? We just don't know. But what we do know is that lifelong criminal Trump has never yet passed up an opportunity to make a dishonest buck.
