Art and text posts are only tagged with the relevant characters. (Example: for a gif of Matilda in Headless, it’d be tagged #matilda bishop and #sinéad persaud, but fanart of the Headless Horse(wo)men would be tagged #the headless horseman and not the actors whose likenesses are represented in the art. Basically, anything that’s a real pic has the real people tagged, and anything that isn’t that just has the characters tagged.)

- Non-romantic relationships (ex. father and daughter, friends, etc.) are tagged #character 1 & character 2, with the first alphabetically being labelled character 1. (So for a friendship between Brom and Ichabod, it would be tagged #brom & ichabod, and Kat’s relationship with her father would be tagged #baltus & kat.)

1 and 12 for the gif maker year in review!

1. What’s something new that you tried in a gifset this year? How did it turn out?

One thing that comes to mind is playing with text in ways that I've seen done by other makers that inspired this Kat gifset. I managed to place the text on a path/curve (although I don't think it was working the way it was supposed to so it was more awkward than I hoped. I also should probably have chosen a different font for the smaller text.) I also played with different layers and effects for the larger red text and I was super happy to figure that out! I've used the same method in other gifs since then but I'd like to use the outline and the curve effect again at some point.

12. What gifset made you feel the happiest to work on?

Oooh this is an interesting question, because the actual process and the final product can be so different as far as enjoyment goes. There are a few contenders but I think I'm going to say this first text post set (plus the, like, seven or more that are to come). It's so fun to find text posts that fit "Headless" so well (the more specific, the better!) and it's a fun way to appreciate all the different sides of the show. But, on the other hand, it's still not as technically difficult as some other gifset styles.
