For as long as he's known Eddie, Buck has wanted to kiss him.

Buck watches warmly as Eddie leans over the pool table to line up the shot. His head is fuzzy with alcohol, and he can only hope Hen and Chimney’s attention is on the shot as his eyes linger on Eddie’s ass, and not for the first time tonight. He thought he looked good in the LAFD uniform, but he was not prepared for the sinfully tight jeans Eddie had chosen for the night.

Part of him wants to slip back into Buck 1.0, if only for the night, and flirt with him and see where it got him. The other part is still aware they work together and he needs to keep it in his pants because there is no coming back from that. Plus he doubts it would actually go anywhere anyway.

With a clack and a dull thud, the eight ball sinks.

Okay so maybe playing with Eddie gets him a little hot under the collar, but who can blame him? He’s good.

Hen and Chimney groan, taking out their wallets, and Buck cheers. Their loss, 2-3. Drinks on them.

Eddie turns with a grin, holding his fist out for Buck to knock against his own but Buck completely ignores it to take Eddie’s face in both his hands.

“That was awesome, man, I could kiss you on the mouth right now.” Eddie flushes under his touch and Buck gets distracted by the feeling of his stubble under his palms. He can only imagine what it would feel like- Buck shakes his head.
