Vaati headcanons hmm?

How do you think he dances? Does he have two left feet or is he pretty decent? If the latter, what does he prefer?

Oh I like this one! Mainly because I have never thought about it in depths so this is the occasion.

I do not see him having any interest in learning how humans dance in Minish Cap, although he probably knows of some Minish celebration/traditional dances. I absolutely see Minishs enjoying dancing and playing music. I am thinking mainly of an Irish like musical culture for them. So by that logic… maybe Vaati being able to dance a jig is a thing. I don’t see him enjoying it though, because it would make him feel like a fool. I can imagine him as a Minish refusing to take part in any of these, or: he would at the beginning, then as his fascination for darkness in the hearts of men grows he would take himself too seriously to take part in any of these “silly activities”.

But afterwards? He has many centuries to learn many refined skills, and (human) dance would be one of them. I think that he would be pretty decent, after all he has to show off that he is worthy of court like settings for personal pride matters, also probably to impress the ladies. That is, if he can ever turn back into his human form after Minish Cap. And as such, the one dance I can really imagine him dancing and enjoying would be the waltz.

for those that wonder how the medical stuff is going, I'll put that below the cut so anyone who doesn't want to see it can skip it easier:

Three of the 12 eggs made it to blastocysts and are now frozen! One is a boy, one is a girl, and one is a ninja who's test results came back 'unknown'. Unknown is a excellent gender. Very proud of all my little frozen snow babies. I really hope they live. Hopefully I will only have to do one more surgery before I can see if my body is fit to give these kids life. If you happen to pray, please send prayers to make these kids powerful. I really really really want them to live. I'm kinda worried sick.

What kind of food habits does Vaati have?

First and foremost I have always headcanoned him as a vegetarian because of his Minish origins. Honestly I was so happy to see later that many others seemed to share that headcanon with me.

I think his favourite food would be fruits like berries, but obviously in his human form berries only diet and other things the Minish eat (like grains, nuts) is not very sustainable anymore so as a human he eats other fruits and more oats (can't decide if those were available to Minishs since agriculture of these plants would be more of a human thing, but one can imagine Minishs living close to humans would take some small quantities and leave rupees and kinstones in exchange).

He very much has a sweet tooth. But mainly for fruits so overall healthy stuff.

Also I imagine he would sip on grape juice and make it pass as wine. I don't picture him enjoying alcohol or any other consciousness altering substances because of his need for control. Although I did play a few times with the idea that he would either be oddly resistant to alcohol, similar to Tolkien's elves or have no resistance at all and be drunk after one glass of actual wine, no in between.

The result is still that he doesn't drink out of fear of loss of control over himself and looks tough with his grape juice while other people think that he can drink THAT much.
