Also as much as I love Durgetash, it genuinely ain't about the smut or romance for me (go figure).

I'm solely intrigued by 2 people who realistically shouldn't be able to have any connection deeper than bare surface level going far enough as to defy their gods for each other.

And I can't help but ponder how much of that was just plain manipulative behaviour on both their sides. Cuz like, Gortash, 10/10 manipulative as fuck, but Durge does have that streak as well and considering how well the temple has been doing, they've been at it and they're playing in major politics themselves as well.

And if they're already manipulating and stringing along the patriars, what's to stop them from using the new money banite that just popped up and clings to them for one reason or another.

I wholeheartedly do not believe, at the bare minimum at first, that either of these people had anything 'nice' in mind when hanging out with each other. And now I need to know if and when that view changed and to what extent.

That's my obsession in a nutshell ig.

I really wish I'd been writing down my first reactions to the GGST OST but my most vivid memory is the first time I heard Let Me Carve Your Way

Off the rails as in, Dick gets caught in something that can kill even a talon - say, a big enough explosion... Jason left convinced Dick is dead and he is responsible for it...

If Jason is absolutely sure Dick is dead/beyond any chance of being revived either with electrum or other supernatural means…. He’d completely shut down, turn himself into authorities, and plead for the death penalty.

What the fuck is up y’all, i finished that thing like i said i would! I couldn’t figure out how tf to add lighting from a lightning strike so i just threw shit at it and hoped it stuck. I might have missed a few details or fudged his design or whatever the fuck, but that don’t matter. What DOES matter is Jason Todd is a scary motherfucker even when he’s just dicking around for psychological damage.

Anywho, this is a little piece for the fanfic Fowl Play over on AO3 by pinkjester, go give them some love!! I love reading that fic when i need a good laugh and am in a BatFam mood. It’s short, but cute, and i love it.
