I meant for it to be fairly short and then have a larger section dedicated to when they find Link, but thats… not exactly what happened. Atm the doc is at an even 19k word count (dunno how i managed that), and i still have a decent amount of things to write, SO…. Yeah. A lot of this chapter is really just about the Sages and the Sage’s bonding. If that’s not what you want than you can obviously wait til chapter 6, which spoilers, will be Link’s pov and ONLY about his recovery.

I love Shoshana! What's her story?

glad u asked..

she was originally from a small colony in the twolegplace out by leveeclan. their colony consisted just of their family, most of which being her older siblings + their mates/kits and one surprise kitten born after her. most of her siblings actually didnt survive past kithood, so there are large age gaps between the surviving siblings.

the colony was lead by her father, with her oldest brother as his right hand man. while it wasn't maliciously suppressive under them, they were insanely overprotective of the mollies in the colony due to the hereditary issues surrounding pregnancy and kitting. every tom the girls wanted to be with had to be vetted by the patriarchs and most of the time they were rejected until a suitable tom was found. this was not the case for the son's mates, something shoshana saw as unfair.

growing up she was the baby for most of her life and was often treated as such. it frustrated her because she wanted to be treated fairly like her brothers were and wasn't allowed to wander very far, much less on her own. she resorted to sneaking away often, and unfortunately got caught most times due to her clumsy nature at the time.

she met ermine and jackrabbit when they were all young adults (just shy of 13-15 moons old) when the boys came all the way from the valley to trade some resources with leveeclan (ermine had chicken eggs, wool, and chicken feathers from the farm, jackrabbit had herbs that leveeclan couldn't find much of where they lived)

she clicked with them instantly, getting along with fellow-extrovert jackrabbit like a house on fire while shy, awkward ermine was immediately enraptured by her pretty face and followed the two of them around like a dog. the toms would make routine visits, sometimes to get away from home and other times for trading business, and ermine especially would go out of his way to find shoshana.

they fell in love quick and she eventually introduced him to her family - they were not pleased since he lived so far away and smelled weird. shoshana wouldn't cave in, though, and soon eloped with her new lover to the farm. (also side note theyre polyam - ermine is currently partners with both shoshana and jackrabbit but the latter two are not romantically involved since jackrabbit is gay lol)

the pair struggled to have kits for a good few moons until they finally conceived. the pregnancy was rough on her and she got sick numerous times, but thankfully jackrabbit wasnt too far away and would sometimes stay a few days at a time.

while she made it through kitting, one of the kits was stillborn which devastated her greatly. still, she and ermine did their best to make sure the remaining 2 would survive. unfortunately, only sable made it past the winter.

as a result she became rather protective and fussy over her son, repeating the same thing her own parents did to her. though with ermine's more hands-off-but-watchful approach and the rest of the farm colony there to help raise him, she managed to reel herself in and stop before she ends up smothering him. she's still rather neurotic, though, and sometimes has moments where she fusses too much or gets in fights over curfew.

she and ermine tried to have kits again multiple times to no avail. all it did was make her depressed and she lost steam, giving up entirely. at some point after this she was TNR'd by the farmers on the property. it was certainly a shock to her at first but she resigned herself to it since she'd given up on having kits again anyway.

motherhood wouldn't end with sable, though, as she helped the other mollies of the farm colony raise their kittens. later, a young, expecting tom from hootclan named driftwood approached her and ermine and asked if they would raise his and stoathawk's kits after they were born. ermine was hesitant to the idea and pushed back, claiming it was stoathawk's responsibility to be a father and that hootclan could help care for them as well. shoshana's desperation to have kits of her own again made her accept the offer immediately but ermine and driftwood (and later stoathawk, as he is ermine's half brother) would go back and forth on it.

(aside: it wasn't about not wanting to raise someone else's kits but instead ermine's trauma of being abandoned by his bio father rearing its ugly head for the first time in a long time. he expected stoathawk, someone whose father had been present, to understand the consequences and make sure those kits were taken care of and being responsible. it blinded him for a while and he wasn't able to see that stoat and drift genuinely were not prepared to be parents. more on that later tho lol!!!)

ultimately ermine conceded and it was arranged that driftwood would stay at the barn once he got closer to delivery. shoshana was fretting and pacing as if she were the one pregnant and was there to help driftwood in those last few weeks.

when the immediate postpartum phase became life threatening for driftwood, shoshana thought quickly enough to bring the twolegs over to help him, even climbing into the truck with them on the way to the vet.

luckily driftwood would be saved, but shoshana was brought home to the farm while he stayed to recover. once home she immediately assumed position as a queen for the newborns junebug and beachbug. it took some outside help for her to produce milk again but they got it to work and she fed them with no problem. she and ermine raised those two as their own.

of course, she felt some jealousy and possessiveness when driftwood would come back and try to bond with them, but he would reassure her that he trusts her to raise them more than he does himself and appreciates her greatly for what shes done for him. shoshana likes driftwood a lot despite the bitter feelings that creep up every now and then.

currently the twins are in the apprentice-age-range but with every passing day she cant help but feel pride and love for all her kittens regardless of blood.

shoshana is a quick witted, independent molly with a lot of love to give, though sometimes it may come off as too much and smothering at times. she's always aspired to be a mother and caretaker and does her part to help other queens with their kits, having done so for her sisters' and brothers' kits while growing up. she, ermine, and jackrabbit are happy together and she's deeply proud of sable, beachbug, and junebug even if they are a bit rowdy and break the curfew rules more often than not - they remind her of herself when she was young and she has to tell herself to let them make their own choices. she's overall a very powerful and loyal ally to have.

3. Does their Echo function like it does in the MSQ? Or is there a twist to it? 

kozu doesn't have the echo at all! he's a RELATIVELY normal guy... not being able to help the 'real' wol fight did bother him more and more as time went on so endwalker finally letting him participate was gratifying for him (guy who has a guilt complex about inaction. smiles) for caranar, he gets flashes of the future similar to mikoto from ivalice/bozja quests and... it's a big thing for him, from the moment he got it he and the people around him labeled it as a curse and portent of doom. it was the start of a lot of bad shit happening to him genuinely. it haunted him for the longest time, and before meeting minfillia he refused to even speak about it or admit it was a thing anymore out of fear of it. after meeting her and other echo-bearers it was a huge weight lifted from him, but it took him a long time to begin to accept and come to terms with it. even when it was framed as a loving blessing from hydaelyn he still fell ill at ease about it. the things he sees always happen without fail, but they lack a lot of context that the canon in-game echo scenes have so the devil is in the details etc. but even still very rarely does it not fill him with dread to get one. meeting mikoto really helped him cope too though I imagine they are besties based on JUST that cause he is not scholarly but they can firmly shake hands about this.

caranar hypothetically has no problem sleeping around, but in the context of like ARR-late HW he is way too insecure and scared (both of being hurt and hurting someone. bodily) to be vulnerable with people like that really. so he flirts then pulls back before he has to really show his underbelly etc you'd have to chase him and get his trust. hard sell. in my main canon for caranar by the time uuuh 4.1 rolls around he has a wife but in my multitudinous AUs SB would be the prime caranar slut era (especially when he's riding the high of the nadaam arc), shb too but in a more unhealthy "we might die tomorrow so fuck it" way. post endwalker though he'd be very well adjusted and free to indulge. the thing with him though is that if he catches real feelings for someone he'd pursue that singlemindedly and get overprotective of it. and fall deep fast. so partially waiting for right person but not going to hold himself back either I suppose? kozu... well he's a whore and I love him for that. (in my perfect world where transphobia isn't a thing to worry about on etheirys). as soon as he got remotely settled in dalmasca he just had a full hedonist era. caranar was his roommate and was sick of his shit but didn't care enough at the time to intervene. the events at the end of their time there though lead to kozu withdrawing a lot and focusing on himself rather than relationships, by the time we get to ARR though he'd just have regular flings. dropping anything as soon as he got scared of the expectation, inclination, echo, of any real emotional intimacy and commitment. genuinely kind of a big problem with him until fucking shadowbringers where in the face of "we might die here for real" and being away from the source he pulled some skeletons out of his closet and faced them for real. still a bit flighty but he's trying. also he's polyam and if a partner wanted exclusivity it'd be over right away, but he's very clear about that before getting real with anyone. oh btw caranar is bi/pan and kozu is very very gay

34. Would you say your WoL is fundamentally a good person? Or are they a bad person that's been persuaded to do the right things? 

well I think if you directly asked them, caranar would legitimately think he's a bad person despite his every effort to try and do good. and kozu would just say they're trying to be a good person out of their own selfish desire, undermining how good they could truly be. I think they're both fundamentally good people though, especially caranar... he's just been abused and used enough that he blames himself for it rather than those who inflicted it on him. (other than the empire. and ishgardian inquisitors. he wants to tear through them. his righteous rage is focused more of injust structures of power and ppl that willfully enforce them vs. individual people) he really just wants to do right by common people though. kozu is a bit more complicated, but not enough for me to say he was ever "bad" just he genuinely didn't understand the weight of his own actions when killing people as a warder in golmore and felt more and more personally sickened by himself the more of the world he saw, and thinks he can never make up for a hundred years of that no matter how many lives he saves now.

I really hope i'm not being annoying but i got no other place to rant about this but responing to some of the things you said about the yuurivoice thing: regardless of polyamory or not the trios relationship is unconventional (and the two boys canonicly queer on account of being each others exes) regardless.

I mean welcoming your (meaning listener's) boyfriend's ex-boyfriend into your lives like that and caring about and loving him like that, regardless of that love being romantic or not and regardless of if they (the boys) would ever officially start dating again is still not the most standard situation.

They boys will always love each other in one way or another after all they've been through together.

The ex has explicitly said he loves listener and their boyfriend (his ex) like, twice now.

And there was a moment were the ex and the boyfriend had a emotional moment about some plot relevant/backstory stuff (basically about the ex's mom and his relationship with her, where he also refers to listener and the boyfriend as finally having people that love him unconditionally in his live) together and at the end of it the ex asks wether "loving y'all so damn much" has to end and the boyfriend reassured him that he cares about him and that "sugar (referring to the listener) is pretty sweet on you (refferering to the ex) too" but that they "don't need to wrap there heads around all that right now" The important part is that he's not gonna "end up feeling like a third wheel" and then they all go to sleep cuddling together, the boyfriend teasing the ex the next morning about how he cuddled with the listener the ex stuttering that it wasn't like a thing or anything and the boyfriend responding with a sarcastic "oh, never that"

And like later on another character literally refers to both the listener and the ex as the boyfriends "partners" like i really don't know what more anyone could want at this point, like?!

He has said himself in streams, ambiguity and all that aside, it isn't exactly subtle with all these moments either and he's well aware of that and he seems to like writing it like that.

reading all of this reminds me of the time ppl called crowley and aziraphale "queebaiting" cause they never kissed even tho neil gaiman himself said they're in love, but they arent gay because they're like agender beings and i think asexual too i dont remember point it

It's strange since this is something I signed up for. Honestly, after being with you-know-who, I told myself I would never end up with another vampire, let alone two. It is not even two; it's a man who loves his wife and me. But he’s sweet about it, about loving me—Carlisle Cullen, a name that just rolls off the tongue. At first, when Carlisle told me about this, I was hesitant. It had been two years since Dracula had been gone, and I didn’t feel ready for a relationship. i have too many i have one million billion thoughts about gene every second its like this every day:

anyways. gene!!!!! i will give a few thoughts/headcanons/paragraph-long rants about him weeeeee

for mystreet specifically:

-gene is a wof fan, dante is a wc fan. gene is quickly outnumbered bc vylad, zenix, and sasha all also like wc, and he is forced (read: willingly does so bc their friends like it. not that she'll Ever admit that tho) to read wc. it actually ends up liking the books (he heavily relates to ivypool... i wonder why... such a mystery... /j)

-gene is very tall and towers over most of the people they know bc theyre 6'3 (he took all of the available height when he was born so now dante is 5'2 /j). she feels very self-conscious about her height at times but usually finds it very entertaining to scarily lean over people (even though none of their friends are scared by that at all bc theyre super skinny and they have the energy of a sopping wet kitten /j)

-during high school, gene is too stressed to deal with gender or sexuality or anything but that does not stop it from hitting him like a truck. and then backing up to run her over again. repeatedly. they are genderfluid and use any pronouns, and they are bi, polyam, sapphillean, demiromantic, and asexual :)

-seems very intimidating to strangers but the second u actually start talking to them they just. arent intimidating at all? he can be a little rude at times (due to the Autism) and is very quiet and closed off, but really hes just shy and bad at talking to people. unless u hurt any of her friends then she WILL murder u

-gene can and will kill fascists. be gay do crime, death to america <3

-gene has freckles :) she also has a ton of piercings, and has heterochromia (one blue eye and one brown eye)

-their first friend ever was sasha. the two of them met whenever sasha was being bullied in elementary school and gene stood up for her. zenix became friends with them later whenever it just... came over to them at lunch in like 7th grade and started sitting with them (it straight up just said "idk where to sit and you both look gay"). the three of them have been inseparable ever since

-gene is very protective over dante (and by extension, travis as well). no one ever messes with dante or travis bc if u do dante is 100% telling his sibling and ur Dead if gene finds out

-scarily good at video games. her favorite game is rain world and she plays it all the time (they managed to beat enots campaign. somehow?????)

-huge crywolf fan. discovered crywolf when her dad was still at home a lot of the time (he ends up being put in jail for life after attempting to murder his wife. so uhhhhh at least hes gone now?? his family still has to deal with the Trauma but hey) and its been a huge comfort for her ever since

-gene was killed via being burned at the stake. he is now terrified of fire (although he pretends he isnt). he was only 18 when he was executed

-while mys gene is transneufem, mcd gene is transmasc. he uses he/they and is a gay trans man :)

-"but how is her gay if he was canonically in love with a woman" WELL! he suffered from the very common transmasc experience of "i knew i was gay but i didnt know i was a man yet so i thought i was just a lesbian". and also bc of the BPD + trauma making him super attached to this one girl

-speaking of that: gene tried to kiss the girl, and she ran off bc she turned out to be homophobic. they tried to erase her memory so she would go back to being their friend, but dante caught them and she ran off while gene was trying to explain (dante thought what was going on was much worse than it was, and didnt realize until it was too late to apologize)

-growing up, genes entire village was very conservative. the abuse he went through went ignored and shoved under the rug, and he wasnt able to come out until he died and became a shadow knight

-fully turned into a shadow knight after murdering their father. he also set his home village on fire and erased everyones memory of him and dante for good measure (in his mind, he thought he was helping dante)

-gene is 6'8. he used to be 6'6 but grew two inches when he became a shadow knight. also they used to have really long hair (bc he wasnt allowed to cut it) but now they have very fluffy hair that ends around their shoulders

-the color red is a huge trigger for him, he hates it

-was launched out of one abusive relationship (his dad) right into another (shad). he didnt realize shad was abusive for a long time bc, well, shad is nice to him a lot of the time, sure he forces gene to commit murder and torture people and gene really feels iffy about that, but he lets gene cut his hair and and wear masculine clothes so he cant be that bad right hahaha? (<- gene is in denial)

-oh nooo now hes getting sent to the Torture Chamber oh nooooooooo oh well (vylad ends up saving him but not before he gets More C-PTSD)

-he tried to use his powers to forget his entire past. it didnt work well. now his memories are just very fragmented and come back/disappear randomly

-he has DID (dante does as well). due to the Trauma

im so. god I had such a yuri night I have so much to tell you all yuri nation:

- went to the skate park and we ended up hanging out for 5 whole hours

- I got comfier with skateboarding!! woohoo!!

- we were listening to music and then she was like omg I'm gonna get my guitar from my car, is it ok if I play a couple of my songs. so she fucking played and sang two of her original songs to me and it was such a privilege to get to hear it. and she's so talented. and in fact she asked to record herself on my phone so I could play it back on the speaker and she could play along to the recording and so now I have a recording of her singing and playing guitar saved on my phone and the clip ends with her giggling and I am so fucking gay about it I definitely fell a little bit in love in that moment

- I decided to try skating down a ramp and she had offered to help me by letting me hold onto her. so I HELD BOTH OF HER HANDS WHILE I WENT DOWN AND SHE RAN WITH ME TIL I STOPPED. this happened twice btw.

- we went and had a bite to eat at the tim Hortons across the street. and we were def stoned lol and just chatting and eating and I swear at one point while I was talking I caught her looking at me. but also she was excitedly telling her about this sports bra she got that was comfy and made her feel so cute and happy about it AND SHE SHOWED ME A PIC OF HER WEARING IT. like it *was* just a sports bra but I was so gay in that moment it was like. uhm. yes that's wonderful Sidney. 😳 she has no idea how that was for me lol.

- then we spent time chilling in the grass watching the stars come out and listening quietly to music and it was so pleasant. our shoulders were touching at one point and I was like god I am so fucking gay.

- after she had played her music for me she also talked about how it meant a lot that when I heard her play at the festival in the fall I told her it sounded very midwest emo to me. and that to connect on a music level like that is something really important and special to her. and I'm like SAME.

What kind of music do your OCs listen to?

What are some things that inspired your stories? Real events? Maybe a dream?

Music: So I actually think a lot about this. Let me answer sort of modern AU for the Time's Sacrifice and the Come Home brothers:

Music is not as important to Celin as it is me, but her vibe for me resonates with a lot of Vienna Teng or early Ingrid Michaelson.

Alasdair would love a lot of moody, theatrical kind of music. Florence + the Machine, The Amazing Devil, Lorde, Hozier, etc.

Nico would be the sort of "if I have music going in the background, it's instrumental bc lyrics distract me" person if he's working on something. Some rock, as well.

Rhys would listen to a lot of indie and maybe some folk. He'll listen to other genres but that's what gets him In His Feels, which he often is.

Cassidy listens to a bit of everything, but he definitely has long playlists of his favorite video game music. Man he'd LOVE Transistor like almost exclusively for the music.

OC Struggle: Nico is absolutely one of the hardest. Partly because I had a good idea of what I wanted for Alasdair, I'd had Celin for a while, so I was kind of building Nico FOR them? And partly because he's so incredibly reserved. To this day, even now that I'm writing Nico POV chapters, it feels hard to chip away at him because he's just so private.

Inspiration: So both of the stories I'm working on right now came from D&D games. I've talked about Time's Sacrifice but YOU'LL HEAR IT AGAIN. Some spoilers for the ending of the book though I've never kept it super secret, but be advised.

I made Celin as a PC for a game Cressida was running set in the world of Fire Emblem: Three Houses. She was Faerghan, became friends with Prince Dimitri in like session 0, and she and Dedue quickly became a budding sort of romance. Cressida also wrote and writes a lot of fanfic with Dimitri, typically where he's gay and polyam. So at one point I joked to Cressida, "Okay AU where Celin and Dimitri get married because they're friends and it makes sense politically and Celin is like 'Hey I know you're in love with your friends, you know I'm in love with Dedue (and you are also in love with Dedue), we can make this work.'" We never did anything with it but my mind kinda ran away with it and so I decided to turn it into a book. But I didn't want it to be Fire Emblem fanfic with different names, so I came up with new characters for the prince and the bodyguard. I made Alasdair a soft boy who wasn't much of a physical fighter and I made Nico a lot grumpier and angrier, though still with a secret soft side. I built a world that would make sense for the journey I wanted them to go on and voila. And over time the "school for nobles" setting changed to just getting some training at court. Gonna self-promo real quick bc book one is on sale now if you wanna check it out!

Rhys is from a sort of small-town-with-secret-magical-fae-bullshit D&D game. I made him on a whim, he's just a sort of soft farmboy type of character, but I quickly got attached to his relationship with his older brother. He's also lived his entire life knowing he was sort of a replacement for his older sister, who went missing before he was born, and that's impacted a lot of his relationships with his family. So at one point, Cressida and I watched Onward and I got very emotional and, as is my usual way for processing emotions, began to daydream about this idea of Rhys finding out he was a changeling who was traded for his sister and running off into the fae forest to try to get her back - and then his brother coming after him. Thus Come Home was born.

All twc variations of Kendis are 6'2" -- but Regular degular Kendis tends to be 5'11" [all Kendis' wears heels so they're well above six feet at any given time -- Think Jessica Pearson styles]. But maybe I should make that uniform? I just like Kendis shorter than their big brother, parents, and uncle -- let them have that! Kendis is the baby and is far too fast grown. qwere But I'll think upon it.

As for Kendis facts:

But let's see for AG/vvicked Kendis [who I usually mean when I say OG - though there is K. Crawford-Gagne who is more femme and just younger, but still stubborn and selfish lol]:

I think that Kendis is the youngest of four -- technically. She has an older half brother, and she is her dad's only child. But she was also raised around his half-sisters from his dad.

Kendis is very much Younger SiblingTM. Though their mom was tough [a park ranger who came by her 'mountain bwitch' accusations honestly], she mellowed some when Kendis came around. And her dad is a human carebear. So in a way Kendis was spoiled. They were also had respiratry issues as a kid.

But Crawfords aren't always the best with dealing with emotions and talking things out .... and her siblings had a LOT going on [their dead beat dad, bad relationships, her oldest brother's trauma, etc], so in a sense though Kendis was the baby, spoiled, they were also over protective. And had a lot of 'don't wanna be a burden' issues that helped shape who Kendis is today [oh, and she had some shit aunts, gossipy town members, and an eventual dead best friend -- etc, etc, is it gay to have a dead bestie?, etc]

It wasn't always functional but it was full of love. And pets. And Montana sky.

Kendis got into a lot of trouble tho. They were a bratty overprotective menance. Their oldest sib got them out of jailtime once. bb!Kendis didn't believe in hitting a person [though they'd threaten], but your property? Grass.

Hobbies: Lessie. Eat lmao. Baking, cooking, throwing parties, hiking, organizing shit, pottery. They're down to try anything once.

My most developed and third-ever OC, Mavwin is the third child and only daughter of Fëanor. In her youth she was a princess and an artist who loved her father fiercely. In the First Age she became a warrior and a leader, as well as a war criminal, having sworn the Oath of Fëanor and committed the Kinslayings alongside her brothers. Unlike her brothers, however, she survived the First Age with the help of her foster sons Elrond and Elros, and became a war hero in the wars against Sauron in the Second Age. By the time of The Lord of the Rings, she is a depressed and traumatized warrior slowly dying of grief. She ends up getting a very happy ending, winning Legolas' heart and finally getting to sail home to Valinor and finding healing after the Oath is mysteriously broken.

My second ever OC, I’m only including her because my list feels incomplete otherwise. I made her when I was fourteen, wrote several thousand words for her, then stopped writing fanfic altogether for nearly a decade. Her only highlights are being Legolas’s fiance, having the dubious honor of getting stabbed with a Morgul blade twice in her lifetime, and having the equally dubious honor of speaking extremely bad “Elvish.”

She’s been pretty much entirely eclipsed by Mavwin at this point and is unlikely to ever get so much as a downgrade to side character status, much less a revamp to her actual story.

Edit: Literally as I was working on this post, I came up with a possible revamp and tie-in to Mavwin's story, so...this space might change in the future. We'll see.

Ah, Aisling. For many months called only “Severus Snape’s Queer Irish Best Friend,” Ash has since become much more than that, and yet that is still who ze is at hir core.

Aisling (pronounced ash-ling) is the child of Fenrir Greyback and an unsuspecting young Northern Irish woman who fell victim to him. Raised by her loving mother and abusive stepfather, ze hails from Derry, Northern Ireland, going to hir first year at Hogwarts just weeks after the first riots of the Troubles erupted in hir own neighborhood. Aisling quickly became friends with Lily Evans and Severus Snape, in particular bonding with Severus over their terrible childhoods and James Potter being an asshole. Highlights of Ash’s story: accompanied Severus to the Shrieking Shack in their fifth year only to get bit by Remus and turned into a werewolf; moved to London after graduating and found a home in the punk and queer communities there, finding work as a bartender despite hir lycanthropy with their support; undying but not blind loyalty to Severus; extremely complicated relationship with the surviving Marauders. Ends up being Harry’s cool aunt* and living with Severus in a London flat.

Sarah Taylor

Sarah was my very first OC (technically I think I had one prior to her but I don’t remember that one anyway sooooooo). However, she got a massive and much-needed revamp in recent years. (Originally she was one of the most hetero- and amatonormative things you’d ever see in your entire life and it was mildly horrifying to look back on.)

So! Sarah’s mother had the dubious honor of being the only person Fenrir Greyback ever really loved. Not long after Sarah was conceived, however, her mother finally discovered Greyback’s true nature and ran, hiding out in the English countryside. There Sarah was raised alongside Remus Lupin, with the two quickly becoming close friends. After Remus was attacked by Greyback, Sarah’s mother and the Lupins worked together to move around the country in hopes of keeping the two children safe. Sarah, meanwhile, decided to dedicate her life to protecting Remus. Highlights of Sarah’s story: became an illegal Animagus (a wolf) in her third year so she could spend full moons with Remus; started dating Remus in their fifth year and married him soon after graduating; also joined the Ministry after graduation in an attempt to change society and the treatment of werewolves from the inside; after James and Lily die she and Remus search for Harry and move to Little Whinging to keep an eye on him, posing as a government career-woman and a house-husband with a part-time job at the local library. Ends the series living with Sirius and Remus in a nice cottage out in the countryside with a lot of well-warded land for the werewolves (Ash, Remus) and Animagi (Sarah, Sirius) in the family to roam during full moons.

Lukas Greyback

Age: 30s (two years older than Aisling and Sarah)

House: Slytherin

Okay, so for those who are Homestucks, you know Blood Players? Yeah, that’s this guy.

Lukas Greyback is the oldest child of Fenrir Greyback. Born into Fenrir’s pack, Lukas was Fenrir’s chosen heir—probably the only reason Fenrir was so accepting of Lukas being trans, as he’d been disappointed that his heir was apparently female. Fenrir did his best to indoctrinate his son with his views and train him to fight against the Wizarding World, even going so far as to protect him from getting bit and sending him to Hogwarts so that he would know how to defend himself magically. That was also Fenrir’s biggest mistake, however, as Lukas found people there who befriended him despite his parentage and unusual upbringing. His half-siblings and even some of their friends showed him the truth: although the Wizarding World could be cruel and discriminatory, there were still people who fought against the cruelty.

Armed with the Power of Friendship this knowledge, Lukas returned to Fenrir after graduating and confronted him once he’d been turned into a werewolf, declaring that he would rather make allies among the wizards and fight for werewolf rights politically instead of in a violent revolution. Enraged, Fenrir attacked him, blinding him in one eye and driving him out of the pack.

Undaunted, Lukas proceeded to work to form his own rival pack of those werewolves who suffered under Fenrir’s capricious rule, or desired reconciliation and acceptance from the Wizarding World. To that end, Lukas cultivated a calm, charismatic persona, achieving a near-religious following amongst those who joined him. His siblings still act as his closest allies in the Wizarding World, helping him to work from within in order to bring about the peace they all desire.

Brittany Albright

Gender: "Girl" (Really she's agender but she doesn't have the words for it, and she's non-dysphoric anyway)

Age: 30s (three years younger than Aisling and Sarah)

Brittany is the baby of the Greyback half-siblings, and tends to prefer the background, so I don’t really have a great grasp on her just yet. Here’s what I do know, however.

Brittany was born to a very, very young Muggle woman, a girl, really (because Greyback is a terrible person, as we all know), and was thus raised initially as her mother’s younger sister. Given the circumstances of Brittany's conception, however, her existence raised a lot of stress for her birth family, and life wasn't easy for her. Being neurodivergent and magical in a neurotypical, Muggle household didn’t help. She was eventually, around the age of six, given up for adoption as a result of all the tension, and a very kind, very neurodivergent Muggle professor ended up adopting her and gave her a much better childhood until they were pleasantly surprised by her Hogwarts letter.

Personality-wise, Brittany tends to be very quiet and shy and masks really hard, all the time. If you're able to gain her trust and make her feel comfortable, however, she basically becomes Entrapta from She-Ra and the Princesses of Power. She's fond of researching both Muggle technology and Wizarding magic in hopes of improving the state of technology in the Wizarding World.

Fae is just a little guy, you know?

Rune is a shy, mysterious member of Fairy Tail. Found and brought to the guild by Gildarts after faer father died from Magic Deficiency Disease, Rune uses “Spirit Magic,” magic that calls upon the spirits of the world around faer and apparently learned from the ruins Rune explored with faer parents, and is always accompanied by a large, magical, sentient hound.

The truth is that Rune’s dad mistranslated some ancient manuscripts that Zeref left lying around somewhere, and that “Spirit Magic” is actually Living Magic. Rune’s actually creating spirits from the things around faer. Fae is not very happy when fae encounters Zeref on Tenrou and finds this out.

Morgan the Doll

Somehow, in this universe, early on in Meliodas and Elizabeth’s curses, Merlin found notes from the original Gowther describing how to create a sentient magical doll, same as Gowther the Sin. In the interest of helping her friends, she created Morgan, a pretty female doll who could accompany Meliodas and use her emotion-based magic to help keep him stable during the long and tormenting years.

Morgan didn’t quite turn out as expected, however, because it turns out when you create a sentient being, that being tends to have their own ideas. While they did their best to serve and help Meliodas, and indeed became a close friend and confidant to both Meliodas and many incarnations of Elizabeth, they struggled with things like their sense of purpose, self-worth, identity, and gender over the millennia. (Gender, at least, was resolved fairly early on, actually, when Meliodas urged Morgan to do what they wanted instead of what he wanted, and Morgan promptly gave themself top surgery—something much more easily accomplished as a doll. Not that they didn’t give Meliodas a heart attack when he walked in on them. On the upside they’ve got really cool stitches on their scars!)

Madalena the Dhampir

A young dhampir literally raised by wolves, Madalena gets adopted by Dracula after Carmilla finds her on her way to Dracula’s castle and decides to drag her along as a “gift.” Dracula being a good dad when not drowning in grief and rage, he manages to drag himself out of his funk enough to care for Madalena and begin teaching her reading, writing, and fighting.

When Carmilla and the protagonists attack the castle, Dracula sends her to hide. She comes out a few days later to find only Alucard, who, after an initial scuffle over his part in Dracula’s death, adopts Madalena as his sister and continues the education his father began.

Having been the only member of their family to survive the Ishvalan genocide, they have a lot of complicated feelings about alchemy, the Amestrian military, and Amestris and Amestrians in general, but they also believe that traveling with Ed and Al could be an opportunity to change Amestrians’ attitudes towards Ishvalans.

Eventually, however, they discover their mentor from the temple, who we know as Scar, is still alive and also really fucked up, which kind of throws a wrench in all their good intentions. And also there’s all the rest of the plot.

i have a fanfiction in my head that i've had for the past 6 to 7 years now. it's based on a bad tv movie, and it stars unlikely stars : one used-to-be famous singer and a very famous male actor. (Lorie et Alain Delon pour les français) in the past 6-7 years, the story has changed a lot and evolved a lot. I chose this one because the latest changes were that hey polyamory exists and it's great and it solves all the story issues i had previously!

the original plot goes like this: girl is proposed to by her boyfriend. in paris. in a very romantic way. you gather that she's poor and he's rich. she runs. why? because she is still married to her high school sweetheart who's living in a small town in Bretagne. She runs there. you learn she hasn't stayed in contact with her family. and that she just left her highschool sweetheart like a year into their marriage or something. she left because she wanted a different life, which she got! or is soon to have, if only she didn't have that terrible past. that is now catching up with her. her fiancé wants to understand why she left and why she hasn't come back yet (the ex-husband is proving more difficult to handle)(he wants answers, which. valid.). she lied to her fiancé: she said she wasn't poor but from a well off family. she based the lie on an actual well off family. blablabla plot stuff, she leaves the fiancé for the exhusband whom she loves still. i think? at least she has sex with him.

cue, my fanfiction: pretty much similar plot. except, it takes a gay turn when fiancé and ex-husband meet, unexpectedly and not knowing who they are to each other, in a bar. ex-husband talks of how he is still in love with her and how, ultimately he does understand skipping town to discover one self and live a bigger life. fiancé talks of how he loves her, even with that big lie, because ultimately, she wants different things out of life and got tangled up in what were supposed to be small lies at the start. they realize they both love their women but aren't ready or capable to forgive yet, they need space and time and fiancé (who's rich) is like you know what, i love this town, i wanna stay here for a while and not be in paris, in the town where she is. ex-husband is like well i have an extra room in my big house that we had bought together to renovate and shit. i just finished and would be happy to share my routine with someone else, it's gotten lonely here.

shenanigans ensues. she comes back like 3 months later, pregnant with one of them without knowing who. they've had time and space to heal and forgive. they do love her. aaaand

the men have also fallen for one another!

so they decide to raise that kid together and live happily ever after!

honestly, if that could be a movie, the focus would be on the romance between the guys. it would still end on polyamory but it wouldn't be in the way of the homosexual romance. they would realize that they still love her, and by falling in love with one another, have also started to heal, thanks to being together.

(it's still quite the mess in my head for that story, but at least it's a polyam mess haha)

And I loved her design so much, I wanted her to move on my island. Before she moved in, I started talking about how cute it would be if Bud and Eunice were like the mom and dad of the island. THAT's why I started shipping them. Because I am dumb and I was like haha, island parents, they're the parents. It wasn't til after I fully realized how opposing they were, and how I thought it added delightful irony to the both of them. I appreciate your... concern(??) I guess?? But they're not... literally not a straight couple enforcing on each other cuz their aesthetics are the opposite. They're way healthier than that, I would know - I fucking write how their life is together-- And like, Bud is still queer. It's-- he's still dating O'Hare?? I don't understand what the complaint is? I'm sure what you mean is, you'd prefer if I just shipped Bud with O'Hare and O'Hare alone. Which, you could do that? Very well by yourself?? But I don't want to. He has a wife, and a boyfriend and a girlfriend because I feel like it. I’m really sorry that happened to you! If it had happened to me with like my neighbors (the girl who is basically my sister and her sisters) and I was really close to the other kids involved I think it would have been a lot harder on me. Honestly the amount it Didn’t Affect Me™️ kind of scared my mom but that was right before I had what she calls my “mental break” which was a lot worse for me for obvious reasons that can be derived from the title but like literally I didn’t even notice when my mom had kicked my dad out until she told me 3 days later. But like messy divorces suck. That’s also the reason why I never came out to her as polyam, except I just a did like uuuh 3 hours ago because apparently my brother is now in a triad and he texted my mom ahead of time to let her know that he and his partner would be bringing along their third and he asked if she still loved him which broke my heart because he’s the one that paved the way for me being able to be open about being queer, and of course she loves and accepts both of us for being gay and polyam and in my case some sort of weird gender thing. It was a lot for my mom going through her divorce and she still deals with a lot of those feelings to this day. My mental health has been a lot for me to deal with and she was very much Not The Best™️ at handling that at all and sometimes I still have feelings of resentment for her for that. My brother had dealt with a lot growing up as a flamboyant somewhat gay man in a post-AIDS America who has not just come out to his only parent as polyamorous which was also very difficult for him and as someone who lives with elderly people in a home where they verbally abuse him and over feed his dog to the point she went from 8 pounds to 15 pounds as what is essentially a Chiwawa and that’s been hard on him but like we’re all still making it. Also my family is huge and supportive of all of us being gay and trans etc. etc.
