A public hearing began Monday into the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman following an interaction with Victoria police more than four years ago.
Lisa Rauch, 43, died several days after being shot in the head with plastic bullets on Christmas Day 2019.
“We’ve been waiting four years for some sort of closure,” Lisa’s father Ron Rauch told Global News.
“Hopefully after three weeks of this (hearing) we will be able to put some closure onto the whole situation — it has been very difficult, and I am sure hearing all of this stuff again is going to be very difficult for the whole family.” [...]
I realized I never posted these here on tumblr! 2020 did unspeakable things to my mind and body…I staggered away from lockdown with a whole pitch of how I would make an animated Cats adaptation. Local science aunt menace who was exiled to a windmill and then later threw herself into purgatory, kidnapped a baby once, made a zombie, and almost killed an entire town twice creates teleportation technology over the course of one afternoon and then proceeds to immediately and willingly sell her soul to the queen of the fairies not twenty seconds after that.
It is implied that the fairy queen got the short end of the stick on that deal.
Found this little fella (around 2 cm long) on my fence post. I think the head is on the right hand side as this part was moving around.
I did some research and am pretty certain this is the larvae of a Mottled Cup Moth. I thought it was pretty boldly sitting out in the open until I read that it's coloured hairs STING!
The adult is brown and non distinctive, in stark contrast to its larvae.
