What do you think were some of the first monsters and dishes that Peppino cooked in the Pizza Dungeon? What were everyone's reactions to it?
to answer your question a bit more, everyone came around to the idea eventually but it took a lot of getting there. Noise and Noisette are not picky at all and came up with the idea first. Pepperman surprisingly is enamored with the idea and takes whatever dishes pep cooks in stride, Vigi hates it, and Gustavo begrudgingly accepts it. It took a lot of convincing to get Peppino to actually start butchering monsters but he got sick enough of their rations to try it.
Their first couple monster dishes are... not amazing. Obviously they aren't super skilled with monster anatomy and figuring out what's edible, but with gustavo's help and some basic cooking knowledge they get a lot better. When Fakey joins the party later on he's totally cool with eating other monsters to no one's surprise.

There is something like their... humanization? I didn't want to draw them as humans, so they just took on more human bodies, that's all.
–Um, Phil. Could you please stop clinging to me so much? I'm trying to make a portrait of Peppino, who needs to be caught.
– Okay, but he has a mustache, not a beard.

This one’s for all you angst enjoyers.
ANGST HEADCANONS.
Peppino: He feels like he burdens others with his problems and wonders why people care about someone as useless as him. He also has Bipolar disorder and Depression along with his PTSD from both the war and the Tower, which makes him feel even more worthless.
Gustavo: He’s a nice guy who always tries to help others, but that often leads to him forgetting to help himself, but he doesn’t want to be vulnerable because he’s supposed to stay strong for everyone else.
Mr. Stick: He genuinely doesn’t know how he’s so wealthy, the stuff he tries to sell for his salesman job never really sells, and his inventions barely get any recognition, but he somehow still keeps getting lots of money. He loves having it but he wants recognition more than anything else.
Pepperman: He often flatters and talks to himself even when he’s around other people, it’s more than him being vain and self-centered, it’s also a bad habit he’s got from being lonely for years because he keeps shutting himself in his art studio, so it’s technically his fault, but he won’t admit it because he’s in denial.
Vigilante: If the ghost of his grandpa wasn’t around and the Tower didn’t happen, he probably would have been alone for the rest of his life. He’s honestly glad that the Tower happened because he isn’t lonely anymore.
The Noise: Whenever he’s out of character, he’s actually a very depressed man, he always makes fun of Peppino for being miserable because he doesn’t want to admit that he’s depressed too.
Noisette: She knows that her cooking is terrible, but she keeps trying because she wants to make people happy, and she knows that Noise hates her food, but despite it hurting her feelings, she doesn’t say anything.
Fake Peppino: Like in my story, he was verbally abused and treated terribly by PizzaHead which made him feel guilty for existing, he’s also terrified of going outside because he doesn’t want to be seen as a monster, when he really doesn’t want to hurt anyone.
Pizzahead: After his restaurant “Pizzaboy Pizz-Pizza” went bankrupt, he would spend hours getting drunk and watching old footage of his restaurant wondering why everything went wrong.
Pillar John: He was traumatized after the Tower, the feeling of not being able to move his body was terrible and made him feel trapped, he still has nightmares about it months later.
Gerome: He literally can’t show any emotion, he’s physically unable to and it makes a lot of people see him as emotionless, but he does feel emotions on the inside but he can’t show them.

Mod note: Welcome back y'all, it's time to get this show back on the road! Reminder to y'all with custom fairies to send the ref with each ask, I doubt I'll be able to remember who's who after all this time lmao

When other vigilantes found out about the mass of kids Bruce has casually adopted, they were so shocked.
But after a while, it start to made sense. At the end of a long night he would still stop at CVS to get Tim the cough medicine he needed.
He was so good at talking down angry kids on the street because of the amount of times he did the same with Jason.
He’s always pays closer attention than most to the rooftops, because thats what you have to do when you’re oldest son has a knack for flipping off them.
He was made to be a father.
