Himena Aika's magical girl story was very good and written well for her perspective but I did not enjoy experiencing it

Yachiyo Nanami's is bafflingly incorrect with later story stuff but it's so bad and questionable in parts that it actually becomes kind of entertaining

I really liked the first 2/3 of Sasara Minagi's mgs but the conclusion fell flat for me and kind of ruined it

Fairytale Mifuyu had a really good mgs but i can't be caught on record saying that

I stared at Haregi Homura's magical girl story thumbnail for like 2 minutes, wondering if I had watched it then remembering that I did. Not a fan but not bad enough to put on the least favorite list. Just painfully mediocre.

I've never been able to sit through and watch all of Cool Homura's mgs because attention span bad and bored. sorry homu. your swimsuit mgs is still the best though!

I haven't watched enough Costume Stories to put them on here, but I liked Temari's winter costume and I liked Sana's pajama costume.

TUA SWEET TOOTH AU RAMBLINGS

this is gonna be disorganized as fuck because my laptop is still broken but this is for u @alucardens because you’ve let me yap to you lol <3

the au follows the same general setup as sweet tooth- the sick happens, hybrids are born, and the world gets mega fucky. the main difference is that the brellies are the very first hybrids to be born into this world

each of the kids is a different type of hybrid. Luther is a gorilla for obvious reasons, Diego is a panther because sneaky and knives claws, Allison is a peacock for the plumage, Klaus is a crow because of scavenging and his penchant for shiny things, Five is a black footed cat because small (also lethal. they’re terrifying and i think they’re neat), Ben is a sea otter because it’s the closest to something oceanic that was still mammalian I could think of (to my knowledge all of the hybrid kids are mammals aside from Roy) and Viktor is a white tailed deer solely for the vibes of it all

in this au, Vik is kinda in the role of Gus. i think his mom would’ve fled to the woods as soon as things started going sideways and taken him with. because of this, he’s raised initially with no human or hybrid contact at all aside from her. she does her best to keep him safe from the outside world but eventually poachers find their cabin and she contracts the sick after chasing them off, leaving him alone for a hot minute. poachers eventually come back and catch him, brining him to Hargreeves.

the other kids are still raised by Reggie (unfortunately) and he essentially flaunts having a group of “tame” hybrid children to the other apocalyptic powers/warlords. i don’t think he’d go as far as the Zhangs and the wolf boys, but he’d definitely try to weaponize the kids somehow. additionally, he’d probably keep them around to research if hybrids are the key to curing the sick/understand their general physiology compared to humans

when Vik meets the others for the first time, it’s obvious how unsocialized he is. he’s generally kinda off putting to the others because he’s comparably more “wild” in mannerisms and more connected to his hybrid side than they are. he also has more sensitivities with senses as he was encouraged to use them more than the others (kitt projects her sensory processing issues onto her favs yet again)

at some point, Grace gets the kids tf away from Reggie and starts the au’s version of the Preserve, letting them actually be kids and embrace their wild sides

Cyberpunk 2077 is both cool and hilarious to me. Some Nobody, an ordinary kid (that would've died and their glory would've ended on a junkyard without even getting started) gets this ex rockerboy jacked into their brain, and suddenly you're friends with his exes:

The current rockerboy Kerry Eurodyne with whom you can suddenly have a thing or two and maybe turn it into a short romantic relationship.

Back in 2013, Kerry could easily spend a night with a fan (or just a quickie after the gig, no need to get personal and close at all), but he wasn't as popular and as mature as he is in 2077. Plus, I doubt that a one night stand ever turned into something serious. Judging by the way he described his previous relationships, they were always so fucked up: he was either being constantly cheated on (??? who dared and why?) and eventually got mentally destroyed by his ex wife. No wonder it lead to such horrible depression and suicide rumours/attempt(s).

Then V enters the scene. Breaks into Kerry's house, gives Johnny the reins, and suddenly, the two are connected and can have something V wouldn't even have a CHANCE to have with Kerry. I'm pretty sure V wouldn't even know Kerry in person if it wasn't for Johnny, because Kerry is THAT popular & has tons of fans like V. Just a face in the crowd.

I mean, how many people dream being just a little bit close to Kerry? And when Kerry presents his new collab at a full club, Kerry suddenly pulls this unknown Nobody out of the crowd closer, introduces her as his right hand to the press, and then they leave together and spend some time alone on the roof/at his fav restaurant. Can you imagine how jealous some of those people might feel?

For a while, V becomes closer to Kerry in the real life than anyone could ever dream of. Fans? Like hell he'd let a fan or press that close to himself (and they would definitely NOT be welcome to enter his villa at any time of day and night).

And the more time passes, the more popular Kerry gets (so he goes from Very Popular to Incredibly Popular and Demanded and Wanted By Fans and Press.) The new album, new tour with his huge billboards around the city?

And where's V? Oh, V is either in a coma and basically forgotten by all her friends (including Kerry, and there's no going back to how it was before, it's completely ruined, and V can no longer help Kerry with his wildest deeds) or dead by that time. Isn't that nice. :)

Oh, the tragedy.

(Though I must notice that Vik and Misty are still have to see V. It's just still incredibly tragic & there's no fixing that in canon, either.)

(And that's partially why I still choose The Temperance ending. At least the body is being used and has a purpose. Can be reunited with Kerry, too, if there's such need/wish.)

P.S.: And it's not even about romance. It's literally about the one in a million chance that grants V everything she ever dreamed of and that simultaneously completely destroys her, no matter what she does. (And I talk about V as a female bc that's what I'm comfortable with the most. You do you.)

I've never rly thought about good trios ngl, i've only ever looked at them as good duos, but nonetheless lemme give my little thoughts on SDMN's best duos n trios:

HARRY AND VIK - ofc, wroetostar, vikkshaw, it's just iconic... I mean, there's this video on YouTube which is the cutest compilation of their moments... idk, Harry's so outgoing n vibes and Vik's so down to earth and realistic - Harry's chaos rubs off on Vik and gets him out his comfort zone in such a way that Harry's constantly having a whale of a time - really lovely friendships n always shits n gigs when these two are paired up

SIMON AND TOBI - just bare wholesome - they're so cute w one another and the "buying presents" series is always such a sweet watch... Plus in this week's SDMN Sunday, Tobi for the first time showed some sorta homiesexuality which is j such always so goofy - i acc love the new genre of married YouTubers who are comfortable with now just flirting n being all homiesexual w their mates + the Tobi-Simon homiesexuality is always such a jokes watch

JJ AND JOSH - Bit of an odd one ik, but they're just so... well, odd. JJ's plain weird. He has a way with being a fuckin oddball constantly. and how do you fight fire? With fire. Josh somehow takes JJ's weirdness and ups it a level - literally shocking JJ whenever he does and actually making me love their friendship. Plus, BIG UP JJ, because him saying all that about Josh's new hair - literally saying that Josh was so hot at Vik's wedding n all that - I love the supportiveness n sheer weirdness in their friendship.

TOBI AND VIK - Wholesome, wholesome, wholesome! Gahh Tobi's always having a laugh with Vik which is a cute watch considering generally the SDMN push Vik away or aren't as jokeful with him... Good thing Tobi's always having a laugh with him though. And omds, their highlight on YouTube was in the Xmas cooking video on the SDMM channel, where Vik's drunk from Harry's enigmatic wine concoction and goes to Tobi for support, who gives him this big bear hug and laughs with him... Love these two for that &lt;3

SIMON AND ETHAN - homiesexual kings honestly. Both down for a little giggle with one another, and they're both such a strange mixture of stubborn and easy-going, they either gel together as such a funny pairing or simply argue... But when they get on and fuck around, they're honestly hilarious as a duo. I mean, the Sidemen's most watched vid of the rich v cheap holiday in Europe showed their friendship so well imo, absolute cuties.

[27/02 ADDITION] - Simon and Deji - They're j so sweet together. That Deji chuckle-y laugh that Simon always makes happen + the way Simon always finds Dej so out of pocket but hilarious... Yeah, they're ofc a fave.

Ethan, Simon n Tobi - laid back trio, literally so chill n always having best vibes with one another

Gib w anyone. - trust me on this, if you've watched the camping video or even the camping clips you'll understand that this man is JOKES. honestly, always raising spirits and getting everyone laughing bc he's just flipping ridiculous sometimes

Vik, Vik, my bestie, my friend, this thing haunts me, because I don't know if I'll ever again write a scene with such homoerotic tension, blatant priest kink, and that's at the same time very uncomfortable

no joke, there's no more of this particular scene because while writing I triggered myself severely

I remember my two big points of inspiration:

first was the basement scene from the Zodiac movie, how quickly the tension escalates. The terror from the line "Not many people have basements in California", punctuated by the simple "I do." Mhua, just delicious. Also, I love sopping wet, scared Jake Gyllenhaal.

This is Roderick - he broke into Pastodi's house looking for clues tying him with murders and found nothing, but Pastodi is still a dangerous, unpredictable person. He's an extorturer and there's a trespasser in his home. There will be consequences.

The second point of inspiration, even tho the scene was abandoned and you can't actually see it, was denailing scene from Higurashi anime.

For sure Pastodi would have a toy like that in his house, something that Rod saw before but didn't know what is it for. And now he needs (wants in fucked up rastodi way) to use it on himself 🥰

We had a OC question what Halloween Costume they would wear on my fav cyberpunk server. It would be Noris first ever Halloween, so they chaos crew would choose a group theme. Nori is a revengeful forest spirit who's forrest got burned down by humans. Together with a stone golem (Jackie) a firespirit (Valerie) and a waterspirit (Vincent) they fight the humans. And because Val wants to have Vik with them, he got forced to be a zombie hero who didn't make it to fight them \o/ Jackie is in the works, but I don't know if he is finished till halloween. If he gets ugly, I won't show you.

So if you never see him, you know he turned out ugly.

You know what, I wanna see Diego do something awful S4. Boardroom massacre, betraying-siblings and -causing-the-apocalypse, consistently manipulating those around you to the point of making an actual cult and abusing your abilities over your sibling to effectively cut them off from everyone else despite their repeated desire to actually let the rest of your family know they exist, levels of awful. I wanna see, like with Allison, how fast the fandom turns on him - because everyone was fine with Allison until she dared to be something more than virtuous, supportive towards your white favs - and then the second she did something on the same scale of fucked up as Viktor, Five, and Klaus, she was the Devil, irredeemable.

And you can give any justifications you want, but that’s what happened - Viktor, Luther and Klaus abuse their powers to take advantage of other people physically or otherwise (Viktor nearly killing his whole family and lowly sucking the life out of them in the S1 finale while forcing them to relinquish control over their bodies and enjoying it; Luther manipulating Vik’s trust in him to lock him up in a very traumatizing place for him against everyone else’s wishes; Klaus using everyone in his fucking cult and then leaving them to rot with the heavy implication he also used them for sex and also how he treated Ben; for that matter, Ben using Klaus’s body to try and have sex with Jill) and they’re still the fandom saints (sans Luther bc he’s not a skinny little white boy) - but Allison dares to (for an arguably more valid reason) and she’s got people calling her an irredeemable bitch, accusing her of being as bad as Reginald, and everything in between.

So yeah, I wanna see Diego do something bad. And I wonder how fast white fandom will turn on him the second he’s not just the ‘lovable himbo protector’ to be used as a prop for their white favs.
