Pt.4

Books 3, 4, &5 were when your dad was stressing.

🦀: Why do Ace and Deuce have sea mushroom thingies on their heads? They-They made a deal with a boy so they can cheat their midterms, but everyone else but you cheated as well so they’re stuck in a contract of servitude? Yeah no, don’t get involved in their foolishness-oh, damn it! The cat has a sea mushroom too! Well, I guess we’ll find a way to fix it.

When all the shenanigans happen and Leona eventually turns Azul’s contracts into sand and he overblots, your dad is there to witness it.

🦀:Already five in the evening and the boy ain’t right.

He watches you and your friends beat Azul out of his overblot and watches the aftermath.

Safe to say, your father makes you stay away from Azul, Jade, and Floyd.

🦀: Hold on, where are you going and why do you have a basket?

🦐: I’m going mushroom picking with Jade.

🦀: Is Jade that one that always looks high and acts erratic?

🦐: No, that’s his twin brother, Floyd.

🦀: Either way, don’t go with him. He probably does shrooms.

Which leads you to Book 4

Your father does not like Kalim.

🦀: Hey! Hey! Hands off! You are way too touchy with my daughter!

☀️: But she’s my best friend!

🦀: You just met her five minutes ago.

🐍: Kalim, don’t go around hug tackling people you just met.

🦀: You keep him in check. I like that.

Your father becomes the “I like that” lady from the Simpsons.

🦀: “You run a tight ship. I like that.” “You keep the boys in check. I like that.” “You got some intelligence in you. I like that.”

Eventually Jamil overblots, and Jamil doesn’t even bother hypnotizing your father. He respects him that much. Which extends to Yuu.

🐍: So, what’s your world like?

You sneak away into the desert to find your friends. Your dad is at Scarabia small talking with Jamil.

Jamil will forever have an ego boost that your father respects him more than Kalim.

Afterwards, when the VDC start to loom over NRC, he’s not opposed to you joining(it’s his chance to get video of you dancing and singing).

That is until he finds out the team is staying in Ramshackle during the training period.

🦀: No! Absolutely not! You’re not having 7 boys living in this dorm with you! Especially that Kalim and Ace boy!

🦐: Dad! If we win we could use the money to renovate Ramshackle!

🦀:…..fine. But they’re staying downstairs.

Your father catches a glimpse of Rook’s photobook. He legit tries calling the police.

Boy shenanigans ensue

And for once, Ace actually gets to sleep next to you in a bed. Then it gets ruined by everyone else but Vil joining in. It turned into a group nap on the bed.

Your father finds out and he’s not pleased.

🦀: GET OUT! And Yuu, we’re having a review of the puberty talk when it comes to boys.

When the VDC’s happen, he gets a recording of Yuu dancing and singing. Unfortunately that was ruined after the revelation that Vil tried to murder Neige.

🦀: Yuu, we’ve gotta kick these people out! One of them tried to kill someone. These boys are not right!

🦐: Dad! It’s all good! He’s back to normal now and we won the competition which means Ramshackle can be renovated!

🦀: I worry about you. I really do. I never should have let you read Having Adeline.

🦐: *gasp* They are perfectly good friends!

🦀: Oh, really? Riddle has anger issues, Cater is just Cater, Trey probably has a fetish for teeth, Deuce is too pugnacious, and Ace keeps trying to sneak into bed with you.

🦐: But-

🦀: Leona is a grown man who needs to get his life and inferiority complex together, Jack is…actually he’s ok. Ruggie’s such a con artist he would takeover Atlanta. Vil’s vain and murderous, Rook is a French stalker, Epel has masculinity issues. Ortho is a robot boy who’s too complicit in his brother’s shenanigans and Idia is an otaku creep who looks like he constantly needs a bath or else he’ll look like a zombie.

🦐: But-

🦀: Kalim’s too hands on with you, too oblivious to his surroundings, and has no boundaries, Jamil’s ok, something seems off with Lilia, Sebek is going to make you go deaf, Malleus is a creep and under no circumstances should you engage with him, and Silver is alright.

🦐: Why didn’t you mention Octavinelle?

🦀: Did I need to say anything about them to make them look bad?

🦐: No….no you did not.

Jade and Floyd Info Compilation part 37: Respecting Strength, Spectral Soiree

Jade says during Halloween that “Floyd has a certain admiration for strong people,” and he seems to respect Azul for his strength in particular: Jade explains how the ability to take control of a target’s mind requires “a far higher degree of skill and magic than its bodily counterpart. Which means very few magicians are capable of using it" and Floyd responds, “You gotta have skills and power on par with Azul for that.”

When Azul returns from STYX Floyd asks, “Did you just curb stomp those jerks and come back on your own?”, and he explains during Beanfest that Azul having lousy athletic reflexes doesn’t mean that he’s weak: “Azul’s bigger than me in the water, and he’s got eight huge, heavy limbs. His submission holds are bad news, and he’s got crazy grip strength. If he so much as snags you, he can snare you with your arms pinned…all I’m saying is that writing Azul off is a bad idea.”

Floyd seems to have similar respect for Riddle, teasing him for being powerful during Phantom Bride (“C’mon, punch me a little.”) and commenting during Vargas Camp that the Vargas Monster’s “gotta be mighty strong” to have been able to take Riddle out.

Floyd is delighted by Vil’s strength during Beanfest after Vil throws him bodily to the ground, agreeing to join Vil’s group in exchange for being taught the move that he used.

Spectral Soiree begins with Floyd separated from Azul and Jade with only 20 Octavinelle students left on campus, who are soon after dragged into the Dark Mirror. Floyd recommends smashing it to free them (“Maybe they’ll come back if we’re lucky”) but the idea is unpopular.

Floyd and Leona butt heads repeatedly throughout the event, with Floyd pushing buttons and pulling levers that repeatedly call ghosts to their location.

Floyd’s antics consistently compromise Leona’s efforts to form a plan (Leona: “SOMEONE keeps ruining any strategy I come up with.” - Floyd: “That guy sounds messed up.”).

After a ghost stops possessing Jade, he says that all he can remember after going to bed is hearing Azul’s voice.

Separately, Floyd ties Epel to a tombstone to attract ghosts. He admits to it immediately, and later admits to attacking the ghosts unprovoked when Lilia asks.

When asked who on campus he would like to have as a sibling Lilia says Floyd, as "playing along with his plans might be fun" and Floyd seems like he would be able to come up with new angles that Lilia never would have thought of.

When Ortho asks about Jade, Lilia responds, "Jade likes being subtle and indirect when he talks to people. Conversely, Floyd like strong people the best, and he's quick to challenge those whose strength he recognizes. I appreciate that kind of straightforwardness."

Ace

Brings out a whole new meaning of hurting you till you like it. Turns him on weirdly enough, you’re so willing to him that he finds it cute. Feeds into his delusions that you like him back.

Deuce

That must mean you like him back! He's so happy you're seeing things his way, now he can provide your needs as you do his. However I do see him holding back on the hurting you part, you love him so he'll try his best not to permanently scar you.

Leona

You’re finally learning your place. I guess he was trying to drill that type of reaction out of you. But you seem to really like it when the heel of his foot crushes your windpipe. Gurgling with a needy whimper.

Jade

He likes it, a lot. Your expressions to your reactions. You do as he pleases when hurt, actively trying to get away but can’t help your sick desire to be cut open. Viewed and manhandled like some object.

Idia

Filling up his wildest fantasies. He’s practically drooling over your tearful eyed face, but you’re clearly into it. Gives him an ego boost and makes him 10x an asshole. Slut shames you for being so shameful, have you no respect?

Lilia

This is surprising. Lilia has dealt with many people who enjoy getting harmed over the littlest of things. You like getting your hair pulled? Litters of marks and bruises over your body? How far can you go?

Trey

He’s held back, this brings out his more sadistic tendencies now that he understands what he’s getting in to. You want it to hurt, and he can provide that. Because you’re providing him a free stress ball, something he can use without worrying it’ll run away.

Cater

That’s cute. Super cute. At first his instinct was to belittle you for liking it. But he’s getting the bigger picture. You love it, you love how much he hurts you and your little feelings. And he so too grows on it.

Ruggie

Less trouble. Makes more fun for your little secret relationship. You’re the perfect thing for Ruggie to relieve on without grudgingly saying no. Because you want him to mount you and tear open the scars on your thighs.

Rook

You’ve never seen Rook this happy. He’s testing out all the ways to get a reaction out of you, the camera clicking on your sweaty and ruined face. He’s sure to break your body and rebuild it once again.

Those who dislike it:

Floyd

Why? Floyd expected a crying and shriveling response, but you’re blushing and desperate under his shoe. It’s cute, sure, but he wants a raw reaction of pain. You’re not giving him what he wants and it’s annoying.

Jamil

Like Floyd he expected you to beg for him to stop. Not moan and beg for more. He’s not purely against it but it ruins his fantasy to hurt the innocent that’s in front of him.

Sebek

Disgusting. Sneering, have you no shame, remorse or dignity left? Sebek bullies you to break you down, not have the pleasure to satisfy your need of pain. Go find someone else for that.

Jack

Confused. You’re showing him another reason on why he shouldn’t help you at this point. Why love getting hurt? Finds it degrading on your end.

Azul

What normal person enjoys having their confidence and ego stripped just to get their back stepped on? Like Jack he thinks you’re embarrassing for stooping this low. Honestly you deserve whatever plans they have for you.

Epel

Not what he was expecting. Pisses him off because he doesn’t want you to enjoy it. You’re supposed to not like it, it feels insulting to him and makes him throw more of a fit.

Vil

Have some class. People are watching and you’re easily letting yourself go just by a slap. He might not like it but he will continue to harm you. Don’t you like it? So don’t stop him when he’s bashing your head on the table.

Those who are unsure:

Kalim

Conflicted if he should enjoy the fact you're returning his love or that it's another way to get out of punishment. You being a masochist amuses him yet there's a gut feeling that he's all too eager to please. This relationship might actually work well with, there is no other reason to brutal hurt you when you're being so good.

Malleus

Did he do something wrong to get this reaction? Not expecting it, so it’s all new. Malleus would somewhat continue to berate you only because you beg for more. Who knows, maybe he’ll get the idea and feed into your desires.

Riddle

I feel like this would genuinely stop Riddle from bullying you. He doesn’t like it but not against it? He’s unsure of himself. Personally think his behavior is ok because he’s teaching you a lesson but you enjoy it…

Silver

Help this poor man. Explaining to him that you want him to physically harm you would freak him out. Probably runs away from you.

Jamil, Leona, Riddle and Vil 1

Summary: A simple hiking trip up the river with four of the familiars. You’re all resting and you’re drifting into a nap.

The structure of power here dictates that when you’re going out, one of the familiars must volunteer to tag along. With them, comes the pets. With Riddle, it’s Ace and Deuce. With Leona, it’s Jack. With Vil, it’s Epel.

However, this routine has an exception. Should more than one familiar choose to shadow you, the rest of the pets must stay home. This was not a strict order given to them, it’s something they do out of respect for those that clearly hold more power than them. It’s as though their leader form some sort of unbreakable group that they won’t dare intrude upon.

You honestly don’t get it, or at least the point of letting themselves lag behind when the pets clearly wants to come with. But, you’re not one to push it. If that’s how they want to function around beings such as Riddle, Leona, Jamil and Vil, then so be it.

Right now, you’re just ready to nap. The river was calm and the wind was crisp in such a way that it drove the bugs away, while also letting the sun keep its warmth.

“It’s odd,” you heard Jamil wonder, tail swiping over the fallen dried leaves “that Azul rejected the offer the Caretaker gave. And rather enthusiastically as well. What are your thoughts on that?” His face was blank, but it was the kind of blank that came with perfectly knowing the answer.

“Well, isn’t it obvious?” Vil plucked a comb from your backpack, resting his feathers over a nearby rock, “Clearly he has something planned, otherwise he wouldn’t have had such a smug smile.” How ironic that Vil had a similar expression on his face, clearly awaiting whatever surprise Azul might have waiting.

“Anything involving him is bound to cause some trouble, however,” Riddle crossed his arm, closing his eyes as he soaked in the calm that’s tempting you to nap, “I doubt it’ll be anything dangerous. But if it is, I’ll gladly take care of it.” And it seem he too has similar feelings that Vil has. It’s always so odd to see that sly smile on such a soft looking face.

“Whatever it is and whatever it will be,” Leona rolled over, laid on his side and propped his head on his arm, “it doesn’t involve me, so I couldn’t care less. And keep the gossip down, the Caretaker’s trying to nap.” And leave it to Leona to keep track of your lax self. He’s only here because Malleus wasn’t.

Speaking of, he really does love to keep to himself. An independent one, always taking the time to explore at his leisure, forgetting the amount of days that pass before he has to come back. Fae really do run on a different clock. Anyways…

“Ah, sorry,” Jamil spoke first, “we can take this conversation elsewhere, if you like?”

You waved him off, tugging your hat down to shade your eyes. “I don’t mind. Keeping talking.”

The noise’s relaxing. Hearing the banter was better than silence.

Ace: He’s a part of the Basketball club right? I don’t really know him, but Mads seems to enjoy his company. Knowing her, he’s probably just as chaotic.

Deuce: That’s Jack’s friend! Sometimes I run with them. He’s pretty athletic. Seems like a nice kid.

Cater: One of my Pop Music club buddies! He’s got a good voice, but his guitar skills need work. He’s one of the cool people on campus.

Trey: He seems cool. Kind of nerdy, but cool.

Riddle: The housewarden? I kind of feel bad that he has to put up with Mads’ antics, but he was extremely uptight even as a first year. What? He had family issues…guess that makes sense.

Savanaclaw

Jack: One of our freshman! He’s adorable in a little brother kind of way. Really hardworking too. He needs to learn when to let respect for your elders go, otherwise he will become a door mat for his upperclassmen.

Ruggie: Rug is one of the most dependable people I know. We often trade who does Leona’s chores. He’s fun. Not much else to say.

Leona: He’s my dorm leader and classmate. I have a lot of respect for him. He helped me a lot during my second year…I owe a lot to him.

Octavinelle

Jade: He’s too quiet. Not to mention He seems weirdly strong and shifty. Don’t trust anyone who struggles at flying.

Floyd: I’m used to being around unpredictable people. He seems like a lot of fun. Calls me Sandpiper…I don’t really see it.

Azul: Don’t like him and certainly don’t trust him.

Scarabia

Jamil: I feel bad for him. I love Kalim, but he seems like a nightmare to work for. His cooking though? One of the best things I have EVER eaten. He’d be unstoppable if he stopped holding back.

Kalim: Another one of my Pop Music club buds! He’s so energetic it’s infectious. His drum playing isn’t half bad and he does have natural rhythm.

Epel: One of Jack’s classmates right? He seems interesting. I’ve tried to convince him to transfer dorms to Savanaclaw, but no luck.

Rook: One of my classmates. He used to be in Savanaclaw and he really wasn’t that bad, but when he transferred…he got ten times more eccentric.

Vil: We don’t get along.

Ignihyde

Ortho: That’s the robot right? Neat.

Idia: Who? Oh the tablet guy? He doesn’t talk much. Can’t get a vibe on him.

Sebek: Loud. I can hear him from across the hall. With headphones on. At least he’s enthusiastic.

Silver: Lilia asks me to wake him up if I see him. I feel bad that he can’t help randomly falling asleep. It’s cute to see how the little birds around campus follow him around.

Lilia: The final Pop Music club buddy! Lilia is extremely fun to be around. His bass playing is amazing. How is he that good!? His voice? It’s…impressive.

Malleus: He’s hard to approach. He’s honestly pretty terrifying. I don’t really get why he and Leona have issues, but you can cut the tension with a knife.

How does the 1st year ob look like? I mean, what outfit/accessories are they wearing?

So basically I am actually working on some concepts for this but here are a few I have came up with. Hope you like them! I didn’t do a full design due to a time limit and art block please forgive me.

Adeuce duo they basically have the markings of their respective card suits on their head. Their markings downward are kind of like helmets too. But they both still have the heart/spade on the corners of their eyes.

With Aces overal design I had wanted it to be like a jerster and soldier like outfit. Because I had loved the traitor Ace theorys and some particular designs of his ob form had stood out to me a lot. But I had taken a lot of inspiration from the card soldiers from Alice in wonderland a lot.

With Deuce I wanted his more delinquent side to show throughout his appearance. Because his delinquent years were a big part in his life. A part that he tries to repress so I just thought what if he hadn’t changed? What if he was just very impulsive and didn’t hold back his tounge on snarky comments like Ace. So I have just been looking for the most grunge and delinquent styles I could find for him. His messy hair was kept since he probably doesn’t care that much for appearances. I had given him chains as his neck mark and to surround him. Because of his gangster persona and as a symbol of the weight of guilt he carries from seeing how upset his poor mother was. Not even bothering to change his ways because he was too deep into it and went “ FUCK GRANDMA!”

Epel like deuce would be a menace. For he must have a lot of built up gender dysphoria and hatred from always being called a girl. Even after constantly stating it to others only for them to still call him girly. So I wanted to give him a very delinquent-y look along with a long cloak since he is obviously inspired by the old lady queen? I forgot the name but anyways I wanted you to convey that through giving him a more intimating and messy look to convey how manly he is. Along with the fact he doesn’t care for his appearance either and is just a messy and chaotic farm boy. His blot markings are very similar to Vil’s but extremely messy and he has splashed markings everywhere on him.

Jack I am not too sure for his reasons of overblotting. Because sure you could have a good supportive family and childhood but still have issues. So I’d say that he maybe overused his powers to a point he had overblotted. But he is an obvious leader of the group due to him always keeping them in check. So I’d see his overblot form showing his animalistic side a lot more. Id keep his little shark tooth? Or fang necklace. But adding more fur onto him for a more animalistic look. Along with his very complex hair being more disheveled to add to his blot form looking very over worked. I’ve added the three scratches on his nose because of Leona.

Sebek… it’s just very obvious that he was bullied as a child for being half human. Due to Briar Valleys rarity of humans being there so he probably would have occasionally been bullied or felt different from the rest of the kids there. This would result in his self hatred. So his adoration for malleus besides his strength and other admirable characteristics would probably also be because he’s living perfection in his eyes. So his human racism would be at its max! But his loyalty to Malleus would still shine throughout his design because of how devoted he is to him. So most of his outfit would contain little accessories similar to malleus but expressed in Sebeks own unique way. Along with his reptilian looks shining through so he would most definitely have many inky and real scales around his face and body. Kinda like freckles for example.

I haven’t gotten his yet due to running out of time but still hopefully you all enjoyed this and are having a good day/ have your day get better! Sincerely Cup1d T3a💕

hello friends i accidentally angered the twst fandom on twitter so i’ll do it here too but explain things more thoroughly

i haven’t read any of leona’s vignettes, i’ll admit that. i understand his background of being the second-born prince and that he knows he’ll never be king like his brother, however going into his overblot and afterwards, he always just seemed like a mopey character that just said “fuck it” rather than creating a spot for himself. we can’t all have everything we want but we can strive to do more with our lives than give up immediately.

i say floyd is annoying ✨lovingly✨ because i love the octavinelle dynamic (it would prolly be the dorm i’d be sorted into). however i just don’t like touch. not one bit. touch is so bad it sucks and i hate it. unlike kalim, i don’t think floyd would respect that boundary with me and would instead test it and that idea alone makes me kinda uncomfy with him (i love jade tho).

i get that vil is a celebrity and his public appearance is everything, but as someone that doesn’t exactly fit the beauty standards set by society, i think all he’d do is make me feel bad for who i am. i really hate how he forces epel to make changes to his personality and speech to fit vil’s standard of beauty. if it was just taming the aggression a bit, it would be fine, but it goes beyond that to the point where epel has to hold back who he is (and i’m also from a small farm town and i’d hate that)

rook is a genuinely terrifying character to me. i really don’t understand how we justify the stalking behavior. i’ve been stalked before and it’s terrifying to live through. his presence alone puts me into fight or flight mode.

idia reminds me of my roommate. they’re actually nearly the same person. my roommate gives me so much ick it’s not even funny (im stuck on the lease until it ends so no getting out of it yet). my discord kitten opinion is mostly just satire (but i wouldn’t doubt it if he had them).

malleus is an overrated character. for the time being. i think he definitely has some adorable character traits (his lab coat vignette just makes me smile). i am refusing spoilers for chapter 7 and any events that haven’t been released on eng server, so maybe my opinions of him can change. for the time being though, a lot of fan media has portrayed him as clingy and possessive, maybe even a hint stalkish, and i don’t mess with that. jealousy has never been attractive to me, especially after going through a very toxic and possessive relationship.

however my opinions are still controversial. this has made me realize i should prolly read some of the vignettes i’ve just skipped through because i might be missing some character moments.

Who would your OC say is their best friend?

Vizzie:

If she's being honest with herself, she would say it's the childhood best friend Kai, which uh. She. Killed. When they were 8. But in TWST...I think the way she qualifies "best friend" is who makes her happiest to be around. So even though he's more of a little brother figure before a best friend, Ortho is her lil buddy. She adores him. But if we cut out the familial bonding (so Leona is out of the picture too), I think she would consider her best friend Deuce. (They end up being metamours in the future which is even better). But he's relatively quiet when it's just him without Ace, which is nice for her. She likes to help him study, and he lets her speak her notes out loud so the lessons stick with her easier. They both struggle with emotional regulation to varying degrees, and in her canon she's the one who collaborates with Vil to get Deuce and Epel Gremlin Bells for their blastcycles ^^ Aspen:

Sam, lol. They were roommates together (to me, both in Pomefiore). They've been inseparable since their first year. I recently wrote a silly little ficlet where Aspen is involved ^^ Cory:

Epel!! Fellow Short First year struggling with gender identity and orientation while also being scouted by Vil OTL. While Cory considers Epel his best friend, Epel does not see him the same way, mostly because he barely knows the guy! Cory is very awkward and isn't used to interacting with folks, as a firefish mer, he rather enjoys hiding away. So just one or two positive interactions will have this guy believing you're BEST of friends.

Paisley:

His SHAZAM! figurine. 10/10 comfort item, and he can hold it while his (adoptive) papa Vargas is carrying him. Who is also his best friend. Vizzie is a big sister figure so he's chill with her too, but thats about it.

Which canon character doesn’t respect your OC whatsoever?

Vizzie:

Rollo. He can't wrap his head around why she would ever forgive magic users, especially when he clocks her vambraces having been put on her by force via a magic user. She can't even hate him back, because she sees so much of her old self in him by the time they meet, she just hopes that one day he can free himself of the hatred he carries, because she knows deep down it's internalized guilt and a coping mechanism.

Aspen:

Crewel hates my stoner half fae dude with a passion. Crewel worked hard for everything he achieved, Aspen is a gifted kid. Crewel tries to be protective and nurturing with his students, but they all choose to go to Aspen instead. Crewel very desperately wants to have buy in with the student body like Aspen does but tries to hide it.

Cory:

It's not that Vil disrespects him, he just feels like Vil pushes his boundaries a little too much for him to be comfortable around Schoenheit. He knows he's cute but gods Vil, he hates the cameras and having attention on him via social media.

Paisley:

Fleeting memories - Roma’s unique magic is a memory erasure type spell. This spell allows Roma to summon a black and white dragonfly which can erase a targets memories by circling the targets head. The sting from the dragonfly is said to be painless, though seems to drain the targets energy, leading them to fall to the ground. They will not remember anything since they woke up that day, and the memories are gone forever. If stung enough times a target may loose vital memories such as their sense of self or even their name. Roma, however, has never utilised his magic to this extent since he would run the risk of overblot.

As promised here is my updated Roma sprite sheet! Ngl I literally just traced over my original sprite with a different brush just so it looked cleaner. I also made the gold trim more vibrant; Roma may not like bright colours but his uniform is still the standard for all students.

When I originally did this sprite I used Vil’s school uniform sprite as my base.

Same as Yuri, you can find Roma’s original concept/info here, but I here are some other fun facts about him!

He is 17 years old and uses They/He pronouns. He’s a second year Pomefiore student

The symbol on his coffin card is a dragonfly

His hairstyle is inspired by Yor’s from Spy x Family. I imagine his hair when down is at about his lower back.

Roma is the “Twisted” version of Princess Ivy from Sofia the First

They really enjoy gardening as it was their mothers favourite pass time

Roma never met their mother, she died when they were a baby.

Roma has one older brother, Albedo, whom he’s not super close with. Albedo was the favourited son, leading Roma to feel neglected and under appreciated.

Due to their father’s favouritism, Roma holds a lot of resentment towards both his father and brother. However, a lot of the resentment towards Albedo is more out of jealousy.

After meeting and befriending Yuri, Roma is very slowly beginning to repair his relationship with his brother.

When Roma first visited Ramshackle for the first time he was “shocked and disgusted” by the state of the dormitory.

He was more shocked that Crowley thought this was an acceptable living space than anything Yuri did given Yuri has been cleaning up the dorm themself.

The first thing Roma did was give Yuri a new set of bedding for the dorm

Roma claims the first favour he has ever asked of Albedo was to send over some bedding from their manor. He would have snagged some from Pomefiore, but I imagine Vil keeps a close count of dorm supplies.

Roma is a pretty observant guy who I imagine would be really good at tutoring others. He’d likely be able to tell what teaching style works best for each individual and go from there.

I also like to imagine that Roma is more effective in teaching Epel etiquette and table manners because he’s a bit more patient and less strict than Vil.

Roma holds a lot of respect for Vil and seems to be on amicable or friendly terms with his housewarden. They do, however, butt heads on how to best teach new dorm students.

This is mainly because Roma gets annoyed when he has to constantly listen to other people complaining

Roma can also be stubborn and sometimes doesn’t let up if he thinks he’s right

Roma founded the enchanted gardening club which is open to all students but tends to attract students with flora magic. The general idea of the club is learn how to tend to enchanted plants.

First Kiss, Kyrie and Epel

This one’s LONG and very context heavy. Think post-ch 6. Kyrie is Delia’s younger sister. Kypel have been besties since the start of the year.

Kyrie + Epel:

• after the events of ch 6, they all receive a warm welcome home. Everyone is reunited and tears are had, but most of all Kyrie is just tired and wants to go to sleep.

• she asks Epel to help her walk to her dorm room. Everyone else gives them space.

• it’s a comfortable silence between the two as they take their time to get there, carefully holding and leaning on each other

• they get to Kyrie’s door, and they pause. It was nice being able to hold each other and NOT be in a distressing situation

• Kyrie turns and squeezes Epel tight, burying her head into his neck. He hugs her back and they stay like that for what seems like ages.

• “Hey Epel…. D’you wanna get lunch tomorrow?”

• “We always get lunch together—I mean… yeah.”

• Kyrie hums, barely fighting off the sleep that tugged at her as she stands there comfortably in her best friend’s arms. She’s gonna stay there as long as she wanted to.

• “Kyrie—“

• “Mmmmmm nope—“

• “If you go to sleep—“

• “nuh-uh”

• “lunch’ll come faster.”

• “mmmmmmm hugs nice tho.”

• “…..yeah.”

• Kyrie squeezes him again, and then finally pulls away enough to look Epel in the eyes. She wanted to say a lot of things but her thoughts were congested by exhaustion—she needed to get to bed before she said something she hadn’t thought through like

• “I like you waaaaaaay better than Leon-ass.”

• (said out loud) (she’s not actually bitter she’s just in a sleepy silly mode) (she blinks sleepily)

• Epel’s chest puffs out. She likes him more now!!!

• they say their good nights and Kyrie crashes in bed with her phone in her hand, sending one last text to Epel as sleep takes her [Thnak u for walking mehome that was hell but youre cool and Im glad you came to resche us I can’t waiyt to see u tomorrow ☺️ goodnighy]

• Epel, in the middle of hooting and hollering because she likes him back finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!: [go the fuck to bed, sleepyhead]

• the time comes and Epel, the fucking nerd, carves a few apples for her making a little bouquet.

• Kyrie almost doesn’t want to eat them because they’re so pretty. almost. apples used to be mid for her but ever since befriending epel she’s learned to appreciate them

• lunch is normal for them but there’s a nervousness, an excitement never yet felt between them as they sit closer than usual. Their touches are casual and gentle as if they’d been at this for a while.

• it’s a few more lunches like this before they each gather the confidence to ask for a real date

• separately they enlist the help of their dorms to set up their dates

• With Vil and Rook’s help, Epel sets up an extravagant night for just the two of them. Rook’s all for it because he’s a romantic and Vil is proud that his freshman wants to make a beautiful night for his love (plus they get to decorate Pomefiore to the nines even tho kypel are only going to have dinner and dance. yes Vil teaches him ballroom dancing.)

• Epel simply wants to give her the Royal treatment

• Kyrie goes to Delia, Deuce, and Cecelia for advice. They go the more rustic route by setting up a cute picnic at one of the most romantic parts of the school (with boombox to set the mood)

• Kypel meet at the agreed time

• their respective helpers follow them in the shadows. CeRoo sense each other and catch on to what Kypel have planned

• suddenly the two freshmen run off in a seeming random direction

• the fuckers did this on purpose

• the others are exasperated (rook finds them amusing) as Kyrie and Epel run off laughing, hand in hand

• Delia is set on hunting them down to give them an earful, but kypel effectively avoid her and the others.

• they sneak into Pomefiore and steal some of the food, they run to the other place and yoink the basket and boombox

• after some more avoidance and running around and laughing, they end up in the botanical gardens and settle down with their nice clothes all roughed up.

• they have a lot of fun laughing, snacking, dancing. Yeah their asses are gonna get beat when they get back to their respective dorms but who tf cares when they’ve had the most fun of their lives

• it doesn’t all go to waste either; Epel sort of teaches Kyrie ballroom dancing (very poorly) (they’re kind of flinging each other around) (no one’s watching so it’s fine).

• It just sort of happens, they’re close together and walls are completely down. They kiss for the first time ever.

• Epel has the bright idea to swivel Kyrie into a dip but he loses balance and they both tumble down. Kyrie doesn’t feel the massive bump on her head because she’s laughing so hard

• “Lemme show you how to do it” and she dips him nearly perfectly. they kiss again.

• The end.

• Epilogue: their respective dorm leaders ground them for running off to god knows where.

• epi-epilogue: they get married after NRC and work on the Felmier farm together.

How would the boys react to a mc who is clearly a perfect fit for their dorm but belongs to ramshackle?

hi anon!! thank you so much for the love and i’m happy you enjoy my takes on the boys! i’ve had these thoughts festering in my brain for a while now so it’s exciting to see people enjoy my head canons as much as me. i think this is certainly an interesting request and one i’ve thought about before lmao. the format is different considering that i would assume you need a general consensus of letting mc transfer from ramshackle. i believe their reactions would be really similar but i’m going to touch upon personal details that fit the respective characters briefly.

DIASOMNIA

the entire dorm is really excited for you to come! after all, you were best suited for diasomnia. it was just that...well, the dark mirror said you didn’t have any magic. but you and grim were one student and grim had magic so that must mean the magic mirror could be able to read grim. sebek, while not usually willing to bend the rules, wants to prepare the entirety of the welcome party. lilia won’t let him do everything (the last time that happened it was a bit of a disaster) also because they still aren’t sure if crowley would let you transfer over. malleus is the one trying to convince you to transfer. despite how run down ramshackle is, it’s become akin to your home at this school and you were hesitant to leave. silver couldn’t wait for you to come though he was being dragged around by sebek to prepare for the party.

HEARTSLABYUL

riddle immediately hits the rule books when he realizes you’re the perfect match for heartslabyul. there were no rules with the queen of hearts so the only thing holding them back was the school rules. he’s drafting up a whole appeal and has trey look over it constantly. cater is also helping out with the drafts and trying to make the language more “appealable” but...well, let’s say a lot of his edits aren’t up to riddle’s standards. on the other end, ace is busy fighting with deuce over who can room with you and who will be your best friend when you enter heartslabyul.

POMEFIORE

you’re beautiful, you’re graceful, and you’re ambitious. everything necessary to belong to pomefiore. it was that magic mirror that caused you to be sorted into ramshackle. and vil’s not having it, not when there’s clear talent within you. he’s going to appeal and he even scents his letter like the extra man he is. rook’s on board for whatever you want to do. he would prefer you come join them at pomefiore since you are a good fit and even has ideas to fit you your own dorm uniform when you come. epel’s more laid back. at least you’re a genuine person in pomefiore since the dorm is filled with people who aren’t so genuine.

SAVANACLAW

even without magic, your competitive spirit is through the roof which is something befitting of savanaclaw. leona has you coming over and staying over often without appealing which is unbefitting in crowley’s eyes. ruggie’s going to be the one doing the appeal this time around to make sure you’re able to stay. there are other dorms who think you’re a better fit for them and certainly the spelldrive tournament scandal doesn’t help. but that doesn’t matter. jack is excited for you to come and he’s plotting out a welcome party as ruggie’s typing up the appeal.

OCTAVINELLE

azul’s got influence, clearly with the mostro lounge being an established business at nrc. he has no problem talking to dire crowley about letting you into octavinelle and he’ll do it secretly do. the man won’t tell you you’re being transferred. and then jade’s at your door with azul and they’re both got big smiles on their faces, saying, “ready to go?” floyd’s already dragged you to octavinelle and you basically live there since you visit so often.

SCARABIA

it’s already implied that the reason why kalim was in nrc is because of a bribe. so there’s a likely chance that a bribe will be used to drag you into the scarabia dorm. jamil doesn’t approve of the use of bibery and it was probably mentioned offhand during a visit back home from kalim that he would love for you to join scarabia. he’ll probably write the appeal instead and pitch in a good word for you to dire crowley.

IGNIHYDE

there’s not much idia could do other than bring up the idea of you transferring from ramshackle to ignihyde. he’s most definitely preparing to write a letter. and when it’s done, he sends ortho to dire crowley to see the appeal. ortho couldn’t be more excited for the idea of you transferring. in fact, you remember him begging for you to transfer when he recognized that you were such a perfect fit for ignihyde.

He turns bright red when you lean over to kiss him passionately on the lips! He would probably kiss back for a second but then pull away once he realizes who he's in front of!!! Riddle would not kiss you, especially not in front of other people!!! It might ruin his reputation as a dorm leader! He’s still so bright red as he touches his lips and remembers what you did…

ADeuce are both HORRIFIED. They knew you guys were dating but they are like so sick to their stomachs. I mean they're happy for you but get a room!!

Trey is happy for Riddle that he's found someone! But kinda looks away embarrassed, he doesn't want to stare and wants to give you some respect.

Cater would try to take out his phone to snag a cute picture or is it blackmail? Only to be upset when Riddle has already pulled away from you. He wished he could get a cute memory of you guys!

Leona Kingscholar

He is shocked but isn't pulling away. Leona deepens the kiss with his tongue and you moan into his mouth, causing him to smirk. After a few seconds he stops which makes you whine. He teases you about being so bold in front of other people. He tells you he’s the only one who should see you this passionately.

Ruggie would say "Blech!! Get a room..." and walk away. He felt like seeing that ruined his appetite and he is annoyed for at least half of the day.

Jack would be silently shocked and just turn away, a small blush coating his cheeks. He would excuse himself and leave too.

Azul Ashengrotto

Azul knows that face you’re making at him. Those are bedroom eyes and your face is headed for his! You smash into his lips, pulling his head closer to yours. Azul is extremely embarrassed because you did it right in front of the twins! He pulls away which leaves you whining. Azul’s glasses are foggy as he whispers in your ear that he will indulge you later.

Jade’s eyebrows raise and he lets out a “Fufufu~” when Azul pulls away. He is happy that Azul has someone to care about him but he wonders if you know any decency! Then he remembers all the drinks you “sampled” at the lounge and doesn’t mind.

“Eeh, Shrimpy and Azul are so close!! She’s practically squeezing him!” Floyd giggles furiously. He’s amused at the sight, especially Azul’s blushing!!

Kalim Al-Asim

Kalim feels you tug on his shirt at a party at Scarabia. Once he finally turns around he’s met with your lips smashing against his own, your tongue already asking for entrance. Of course Kalim indulges you! He’s giggling into the kiss and you are happily tugged into a hug where he wraps his arms around you.

Jamil sits shocked with his mouth open!! He has to tap Kalim on the shoulder to remind him to not do this in public with so many dorm members watching. “Huh?! Whyy?! But I love Y/N~” Kalim would whine incessantly as Jamil dragged you both into Kalim’s room to finish where you left off.

Vil Schoenheit

Vil would simply stop you. He is not going to let you ruin his makeup right in front of his dorm members, and ESPECIALLY not Epel! Vil is trying to teach him how to be a gentleman, so you will not be able to make out with him until you’re both in the privacy of his room.

Rook praises your boldness and loves the way you are ready to show love to Vil so easily! Doesn’t perceive that you were drunk, just thinks you really really love Vil at the moment :)

Epel stares with wide eyes in horror when you lean in to kiss Vil. He sighs a breath of relief when you are stopped though. He doesn’t really need to see PDA, for him it would be like a kid saying “Eww!” to their own parents kissing lol

Idia Shroud

Idia pauses his game to look over to where your face was and is met with a kiss! He instantly turns pink from blushing when you try to deepen the kiss. He’s flustered but likes the intimacy, but he stops you because he remembers. Ortho is there. Idia worriedly whispers to you he doesn’t want Ortho to see him making out with you, even in your drunken state you can understand that.

Ortho giggles. He’s happy for Idia! He doesn’t realize the intimacy you two were about to get into, no thoughts head empty for lil ol Ortho.

Malleus Draconia

Malleus hears you say his name seductively. He turns his head to see you giving him bedroom eyes - to which he smirks at. Quickly you lean in, no - actually dive into, his face. Malleus smiles into the kiss and returns the same amount of passion you started with, holding a hand on the small of your back and pulling you closer.

Malleus doesn’t realize the PDA is so bad until Lilia has to stops him. Lilia has a hand on Malleus’s shoulder to silently tell him to retreat to his dorm room. “Oh, young love!”

Silver is silent but blushes lightly at the sight. He’s happy for his young master and you. He hopes one day he could find a love like that, or at least dream about it soon…

Sebek. Is. HORRIFIED. How dare you become so well acquainted with the young master?! He can’t take it. He’s about to stop you until he sees Malleus himself take initiative to deepen the kiss. He gasps audibly and watches in shock! Lilia laughs at him and tells him it’s okay. It’s not okay for him!!!

i don’t know if anyone else has asked you this, but besides disliking Malleus, what other TWST characters do you not like? :0

I did a tier list a while back so you can refer to that for my general likes and dislikes (I’ll admit that it is slightly outdated, but for the most part my thoughts have remained unchanged). I can give a brief explanation in this post about why I dislike the other characters that I do (though some I dislike more than others, so they aren’t all to the same level of “dislike”).

Please keep in mind that these are just my opinions and my intention is not to come at anyone who does enjoy these characters. I would also like to note that while I may not personally like these characters, I still like writing them especially if it’s to bully my friends that do like them 😈

Cater — In general, too flashy, too gaudy. I don’t like his haircut, nor the whole “social media star” thing or him being overly familiar to people (nicknaming, taking unsolicited selfies, etc.). I do sympathize with him on having to hide his real self and put on a more personable mask for the public, but his facade is just not something I enjoy.

Vil — He’s the type of person I can respect, but I don’t enjoy how he looks aesthetically. It’s too visually overwhelming for me, if that makes sense. He also has a very determined, confident, strong-willed personality, which I can appreciate, but sometimes that, too, can be overwhelming. His being a celebrity is also a big turn-off; I don’t enjoy characters that are in the spotlight too much.

Azul — This one’s funny considering he used to be my favorite 😂 Essentially, I stopped liking Azul after his backstory reveal in chapter 3. That’s not to say that I dislike his backstory or think that it’s nonsensical, but it’s more like it hit too close to home and made me realize just how similar Azul and I really are. I get that a lot of people find relatability to a character appealing, but it has the opposite effect on me and makes me just leap a billion yards away from that character.

Idia — This is another one I dislike because the relatability is too high. I won’t go into further detail, but just know that the relatability here extends further than just hobbies and interests. I’m also personally not a fan of his long hair. (I’ll admit that chapter 6 has made him grow on me a little more though.)

Leona — Chapter 2. Literally just chapter 2 alone ruined Leona. I don’t mind him for the most part outside of chapter 2 even if his personality makes me want to punch his stupid pretty face. Sometimes his angsting gets to be too much for me to handle too.

Vargas — Too muscular and vain. Just not my type. (He seems like he’d be a fun uncle though!)

Epel — I’m not really a fan of how he acts out or of his country-isms (they’re just hard to read and it’s grating on the ears as well). There’s also not much that I find interesting about him.

Trey — Okay, so nothing against Trey but he’s here because I find him boring in isolation. He works great as a straightman in a comedy duo, especially with Rook or Cater, or someone that has a strongly contrasting personality to him. However, by himself????? Trey’s just your everyday Normal Dude, and in my eyes, being boring is the biggest crime you can commit in fiction.

Jack — Purely aesthetic reasons. Jack’s too muscular for my liking, and that haircut is also not appealing to me. Other than that, he’s a very good boy.

Trein — He honestly sounds like a great dad and grandad, but he’s kind of dull lore-wise. It doesn’t help that he’s always holding a cat, which he has to hold his own against 24/7. (Yes, this is me saying I much prefer Lucius to most of the dorm leaders.)

Malleus — I think you probably know why by now.

But he must say, you are quite formidable when you fight. Just like a soldier above all, you're someone who wouldn't back down from a fight, and win a fight.

No wonder so many people are afraid of you. Each overblot you tear apart... you're a force not to be reckoned with.

But, as I said, you have your reasons.

Whether your past is related to cynical attitude or not, your past has impacted you.

While he hasn't lost much, losing a love one, somehow hits home for him.

Well you might be despised by many due to how controlling you are, he can understand you to some extend.

If you feel you have no one to confide in, just come to him. He believes you're more than what people see at first sight. <3

Silver

Sure are tough to beat with a sword in hand, huh?

You're strong, and he acknowledges it. And while your attitude makes him turn South, he can respect you.

He.. doesn't like people like you, I'm afraid, but if he has learnt something from Lilia is that the people you hate, might be going through something way harsher than what you're facing now.

we know where that story goes.

He can't relate with losing someone you love,

but he knows it must be heartbreaking.

He's... not quite sure on how to comfort you but...

Please know you can lower your guard when you're with him. Just tell him anything.

Cater Diamond

Epel Felmier

He respects you, hates you and looks up to you.

His feelings towards you at the very surface is quite ambivalent. And it's a handful of emotions.

While he hates that you could be so controlling, and quite boastful about being a "leader" to the friend group you somehow are within, he is in awe with your fighting skills. He wants to wield a sword like you, too!

He wonders where you got those skills from. He wants to learn too!

But then again, he's thrown of by your cold attitude, and he's not sure if he could even talk or stand next to you because the temperature drops by a margin just by looking at you.

But... of course, like with everyone else,

Okay I was thinking about how the other charathers that Arent the great Seven would react to the NRC students in the house of mouse AU. Like i can Imagine Azul asking Ariel if She wants ti make a deal with him and Ariel Is like "lol no", or the First year see Cruella de vil at One of the tables and they are like "She look so much like Crewel that She's giving us PTSD" or kalim and Aladdin becoming buddies :D.

Well, let me put in some headcannons then:

Word goes around that some of the Great Disney villains come to visit Yuu and everyone gets jealous.

So now whenever Yuu goes to work they always get asked to have them visit their world.

So, Yuu just says, “Meh ok, you guys can visit me whenever just ask one of the Great Seven or go through the mirror in my dressing room-“

And suddenly Yuu gets someone they met from the House of Mouse ever other day. It’s literal chaos and Yuu doesn’t know if they should feel exasperated or flattered.

Anyways, here’s some interactions between the dorms and some Disney Characters:

Heartslybul: Obviously when Alice comes to visit, she comments on how Heartslybul reminds her of the Queen of Hearts’ garden. When Yuu mentions that they paint the roses red, Alice sarcastically asks, “Does the dorm leader behead people who don’t paint the roses?” “...Well, he’s more lenient now but...” “...You’re serious?”

Ace and Alice get along swimmingly, basically quick quips and a lot of teasing. Yuu regrets introducing them to each other because they know the two are going to get into some sort of trouble. Deuce also gets along with Alice, though he can get lost in Alice’s rambles in imagination.

I think Alice would get along with Trey and Cater. I mean, they both give big brother vibes (Trey more than Cater). Trey would give Alice some tarts and Alice is like, “....He’s cool.”

Cater is going to take a bunch of pictures, and Alice is very curious about the device he’s holding (I don’t think phones or the internet existed during Alice’s time so...). Cater ends up teaching Alice about the internet and phones.

Riddle...ohhh noo. Once Alice broke one of the 810 rules and Riddle lightly scolded her for it. Alice thinks most of the rules are ridiculous and while Riddle has toned down on being strict, he’ll quickly get annoyed with Alice questioning the rules. There’s rules for a reason! The dorm was founded on these rules!!

Savannaclaw: It’s Simba, obviously. He’s curious to see the dorm after his...nefarious uncle. It’s much more nicer than he expected, though he’s a little off put by the dorm’s...rowdiness.

But he’s impressed with the Magishift practices they have when Yuu showed them.

He likes Jack, right off the bat. Jack has this sense of justice that he can relate to. I think they would get along pretty well. Oh, and probably how strong and buff Jack is.

Simba is wary of Ruggie, due to him being a hyena beastmen. He has...bad memories of hyenas. His wariness is correct, since Ruggie has tried to swindle Simba and Yuu to do some of his work. Does the relationship get better? Only if Yuu makes them hang out with each other haha.

Leona reminds Simba of Scar...to a certain degree. Lazy, cunning, and has this look where it seems like he could be planning something nefarious...

Ok, maybe not that bad, but Simba is weary of Leona. He kind of expected a character similar to Scar since this is the dorm based on him but...still. It’s really odd. It’s kind of rocky, but if Cheka comes over to visit, well...it could get better.

I mean, Leona does find Cheka annoying and calls him a brat but...Simba can tell there’s no malicious desire towards Cheka, which raises Leona’s “evil people don’t interact” list. That doesn’t mean Leona’s in the clear, but he’s ok.

Octavinelle: Surprise, surprise, it’s Ariel! She comes over, human legs and all. (Don’t worry! She got them from the nicer sorcerers). She wanted to visit Yuu and see how great NRC was! They had fun, and then they went to Mostro Lounge.

Ariel is terrified of the Tweels. They give her this...off putting feeling and they’re very intimidating. She does not trust them at all. She does like how they get up close and how they speak as if she’s some poor soul waiting to be taken advantage over.

That’s also why she does not trust Azul at all. He reminds Ariel of Ursula - especially when he tries making a contract with her. Uh-uh, no way. Never again.

This leads to Ariel dubbing NRC a dangerous place for Yuu to stay at. Why doesn’t Yuu come live with her and her family back at her world? Surely it’s much more safer than here! Why, Melody already sees Yuu as a big sibling so why not just stay at the castle permanently?

Ursula fumes at the thought of her enemy trying to take Yuu away and become their parent. That’s her role, dammit!

Scarabia: Kalim invites Aladdin, actually. It’s the most funniest scenario. Yuu mentioned to Kalim about the street rat that wooed the princess and Kalim says, “:00 WE SHOULD INVITE HIM!!” Jamil sighs and facepalms.

It’s actually going great! Aladdin is kind of shocked at the big party that Kalim threw, but it was a great welcome. He’s shook that Kalim apparently trusted Aladdin enough to show him the treasury room. “It’s open for all of the dorm to use! I don’t need much of it!”

Wasn’t NRC rumored to be a villain’s school??? What is this ball of sunshine doing here???

Actually, the Scarabia duo are good in his eyes. Sure, a little rough around the edges with Kalim being a bit too naive and Jamil being more of a watching snake, but they’re better than what he expected. Aladdin gets along with them pretty well!

And then they go on a carpet ride when Kalim introduces Aladdin to his magic flying carpet.

Yuu and Jamil scream at the two of them to get down as they fly across the night sky.

Pomfiore: oh no. Oh no no no. Snow White visiting Pomfiore is like...Neige visiting.

Vil is cold to Snow White, and she knows why. She’s seen the images that Yuu had of this “Neige Leblanc”. He certainly reminds her of her younger days. Which is why she completely understands why Vil is so standoffish of her.

What she doesn’t expect is Rook singing her praises and also kind of...watching her. It’s low key creepy but Yuu says it’s normal and since he doesn’t mean any harm Snow White lets it slide. They do have a good conversation though. Snow White learns to understand Rook’s...eccentric hobbies.

Epel and Snow White go together like apples and oranges. They go pretty well together, but they have contrasting differences. They could be passed of as siblings with their cute looks, as much as Epel hates to admit it. Though I’d like to think they have this “Soft big sister with a gremlin of a little brother” dynamic. Or “Big sister that is harmless but has a badass little bother” dynamic. Just...a cool sibling dynamic, basically.

Ignihyde: Hercules comes by when he hears that a dorm was based off of Hades. He had to see what it was like. He expected the doom and gloom, but he didn’t expect all the technology.

He and Ortho go along swimmingly. I mean, he’s pretty chill around the more upbeat and cheery dorm member, at least. (Seriously, the others were such buzzkills). He also gets a good impression on Idia when Ortho affectionately talks about his big brother! Wow, so the kids here do have a heart! Unlike Hades-

Ok, so as much as Ortho talks so highly of Idia, Hercules does not see how Ortho does. I mean, Idia is a complete shut in and gloomy recluse! Why do you stick around him?! It isn’t until he speaks his mind about that comment does Ortho turn into a crazy murder machine. (“How DARE you speak of that about my brother!!”) Yuu has to save Hercules and the entire dorm before Ortho blows up the school.

So now Hercules sees how inseparable the two are and how much they care for each other, which yeah, that’s pretty cool. (Is also low key jealous, how come his half brothers weren’t like that?)

Diasomnia: Aurora visits with Maleficent. Both do not share ill will after their stories are completed. They actually do make amends. So Maleficent invited Aurora to see her grandson, and Aurora politely accepts.

They have tea with Malleus, and it is a very pleasant conversation. Aurora gets along well with Malleus, even suggesting maybe she should invite him and Maleficent to her kingdom one day. (Maybe when she gives birth to a beautiful baby. Maleficent liked that)

Lilia is also a fun one to be around! Aurora was so surprised by his scare that she had laughed. Ah, what a funny fae! Why, she hadn’t laughed this hard since...well, never. She likes Lilia and will come by if she needs a good laugh.

Poor Sebek though....he acts all uptight around Aurora because she’s a Queen and also aquatinted with Maleficent...he must be respectful to her at all costs! It takes a long time for Sebek to at least act a little casual around her. Maleficent says it’ll take some time, though Aurora isn’t sure if that time will come on her lifetime...but for the meantime, she is still happy to be around Sebek’s presence and have pleasant conversations with him.

Aurora and Silver...ok, let me say this: they got along during a sleepover. The Diasomnia gang + Maleficent and Aurora had a sleepover in the dorms to “better know each other”. I also think Aurora would feel sympathy for Silver if the conversation of him tending to fall asleep came up. Heavens knows she still has her sleepy spells even after her curse was broken.

Also- wofhenod I just imagine Aurora and Silver walking in the forest together and a bunch of animals surround them. (Yuu finds them and cries when they actually attracted a bunch of adorable puppies (or whatever animal you find cute). Cute, adorable animals that are so gentle with them that they start to cry due to stress from being at NRC (Silver and Aurora look at Yuu with concern and gently start comforting them)

Winfendien Suddenly I want a twin dynamic with Silver and Aurora. Even a sibling dynamic would be cool. Just two sleepy siblings that won’t hesitate to kick your ass.

On Ace and Deuce and Empathy

It's been a long time. Chapter six has not been anywhere in sight and your dear theorist has been running low on content to analyze. However, I have been having a conversation with a friend of mind regarding Ace and Deuce, and she pointed out something that left me with less braincells than the two combined.

"Doesn't Ace have more empathy than Deuce?"

From our redhead's inability to read social cues, his habit of teasing people to the point of belittling them and his usage of strong language. many are inclined to say that, no, no, Ace is not empathetic. HOWEVER, empathy is described as "the ability to put yourself into another person's shoes and experience their emotions". As dense as he is in terms of reading the room, he does undeniably understand the emotions of others, what they're trying to hide, and the reason they act the way they do.

The obvious example is during Riddle's overblot, during which he tells the Heartslabyul dorm leader that no parent should use their child as a trophy. He understands that the reason behind Riddle's tyranny is because of his strict upbringing, but that's not the only think he understands. He understands the effects his tyranny has on the dorm members. He points out that what Trey has been doing was encouraging his behaviour, and that it is wrong, showing a bigger understanding of how to deal with the situation more than Riddle's supposed childhood friend himself.

Another example of this is with Deuce himself. Deuce is surprised at how Ace seems to think of his delinquent side as "normal". This is where things start becoming important. Twisted Wonderland is a game that emphasizes on grey characters. The characters that we meet in Night Raven are very much examples of such characters. They bear the title of villains, but show a different side of themselves, whether it be caring for their friend like the eel twins, or supporting their leader despite his flaws like Jack. Deuce is supposedly a more morally good character than his redhead counterpart, so a sight of his delinquent side would come as a surprise to a lot of people. (I was definitely surprised. I should have known better, since this is, after all, a school for villains.) Ace, however, seemed to anticipate that, and embraces it as a part of his friend's personality, even coming off as excited whenever he sees his friend deciding to get a little rougher. ("DEUCE BAD BOY MODE!!).

Deuce on the other hand, doesn't show as much of an understanding of why his dorm leader is that way. He does show more empathy in Chapter five, but it could be argued that it is because he himself understands Epel's situation, as he himself works hard, to mostly no avail. Grim was surprised to see him being so involved in Vil and Epel's conflict, and Deuce himself has said "It's because we're so similar."

In terms of how he and Ace are. In chapter five, he snaps, saying that someone "gifted" like Ace will never understand how he feels. A word like "Gifted" is questionable when it comes to Ace. We know that he is smart, but we can't tell if he is indeed "gifted". His good memory, according to him, can be attributed to his brother teaching him "the hard way". His brother refuses to tell Ace how to do magic tricks, only showing it to him, leaving Ace to watch repeatedly until he understands how it is done. Wouldn't this mean that he worked hard for his fast memory instead of being gifted? If he truly was "gifted", wouldn't his unique magic come before Deuce himself?

Speaking of unique magic, if Deuce has hurled past his obstacle and obtained his, it should mean that there is something holding Ace back from having one. Do we understand what it is? Does Deuce understand what it is? What we see so far from Ace is his arrogance, his trouble making tendencies, his laziness, and his mischief, but do we, or Deuce, understand why he is the way he is?
