Vinland Saga - Volume 12/12* Deluxe Edition . . Mangá mensal com roteiro e Arte de Makoto Yukimura, contém 404 páginas e compila os capítulos 161-175 + Extra: O Adeus está próximo Originalmente publicados By Kodansha Ltd.Tokyo de 2010-2011/2021 By Panini. . . Ao finalizar a leitura deste 12° volume (Volumes 23 e 24 no mangá regular) eu ratifico que se trata sim de uma leitura na qual eu não abro mão, de tão boa que foi isso aqui! Nossa parece que assisti a um filme épico que te transporta para dentro deste grande universo viking... . . No Último Volume (entrando no Hiato do Autor...) fica bem claro que o tema principal de sua proposta, não era em si retratar a era viking, as guerras e tudo mais, trata-se pura e simplesmente em ensinar "o que é viver?" . . Thoffin que teve uma dificuldade e sofrida vida agora reúne toda suas forças como comerciante e sem lutas ou guerras a fim de recrutar pessoas para formar uma novo país em Viland,as não antes de vermos o amadurecimento de Sigurd, os acerto de contas com seu Pai Halfdan e se reencontrar com seu destino ao lado de outra esposa uma vez que Gudrid se declara a Thorfinn de uma forma complicada com a reflexão do próprio Sigurd. . . Haverá alguns pequenos contratempos a cerca da ida a Vinland e vamos conhecer dois personagens interessantes: Cordélia, Um/uma gigante que tem toda toda pinta de ser filho de outro grande viking conhecido dos leitores... e Yvar  um guerreiro que agurmenta muito sobre o uso e porte de espadas na nova terra na qual Thorffin se mostra bem firme na sia decisão que aos poucos vai conquistando a todos. . . Este é um Volume "morno" relação a ação dos anteriores porém muito bom nos diálogos e outras os caminhos em que a obra seguirá daqui em diante, os desenhos continuam ótimos e tem muita argumentação interessante nos sentido de envolver as pessoas. . . ...talking about of Vinland Saga

I'm sorry for many errors, I'm not native english speaker, but I wanted to write this.

I recently discovered that Vinland Saga anime has been released; I'm so happy, I've been fan of the manga for years.

However as much as I love vinland saga, I think this series has some flaws:

1- Vikings are shown almost exclusively as bloodthirsty beasts.

In an interview the author Makoto Yukimura said he wanted to make a series that could talk about anger and violence, and a series about the Vikings was perfect!

And on this I agree, but many Vikings were just farmers and breeders.

2- The Viking civilization was very egalitarian, women could divorce, have property, were artisans, village chiefs and priestesses.

((If you've never heard of osenberg's drakkar, search it up on google.))

3- Viking women could be warriors.

((Archeologists found many graves of women along with weapons, of course, they might not all be warriors, but it is an important fact.))

4- In Viland saga one never speaks in depth about Norse mythology! A manga about Vikings that doesn't talk about Odin, Frig, Freya, Loki, Thor, etc... Why?! Good Odin, why?!

In short, I love Vinland Saga, ((characterization of the characters? Perfect! Drawing? Perfect! Deep pacifist message? Unbelievable!)), but as I already mentioned, the Vikings are shown almost exclusively as mindless beasts, when instead they were among the most civilized peoples of their age.

It's sad. Very sad.
