'72-year-old bookseller, living in Rabat, Morocco, spends 6 to 8 hours a day reading books. Having read over 5000 books in French, he remains the oldest bookseller in Rabat, spending more than 43 years in the same location.
When asked about leaving his books unattended outside, where they could potentially be stolen, Mohamed responded that those who can’t read don’t steal books, and those who can, aren’t thieves.'

The last day of August came with unexpected warmth, but since tomorrow is September, I decided to subtly decorate for fall anyway. The day was spent at my favorite café just before my lecture in church and cloister architecture in the Middle Ages. Now I am back home, with lots of tea again, studying some more while waiting for the cool evening to come. 🎞️🏛️🕰️☕️

September 25,2024
Today went by extremely fast. I took a day off from school because I wanted to "catch up on my readings". Should try that less often because I literally just read 10 pages and nothing else.
In another news, I got Coldplay 2025 concert tickets! And I did some fall decoration in my room. When I say decoration, I mean I lit one newly purchased candle and put a new tablecloth (also hung leaf wall hanging on one side). The candle smells like banana bread and cinnamon. Small things count, eh?
Later in the day, to give myself anxiety and induce some productivity, I calculated how much I am costing my father 😀. Pleased to announce that that went well.
End.

13•02•23// a couple snaps from our weekend away! Philly was great and it was so nice to have a little time off. Our hotel was so cute and in a perfect location! I can't wait to get back to traveling!

the end of week 4/52 ✨
🌤️ holy ground - taylor swift (not for the lyrics but for the beat which matches how excited i feel! imposter syndrome really did a number on my mental health this past week, but i'm officially part of the proteomics lab and i feel much better about everything! we had our first meeting and it seems they really want me to learn rather than expect me to know much about what to do which makes me so happyyy. i'm doing cancer research babyyyy!!! 🤓😍🥳)
☁️ to a wild rose - edward macdowell (i really love my philosophy course - how chill it is compared to my other subjects [i'm actually done?? on a friday???] but mostly the subject itself and how it makes me think about things i don't usually think about and how it exposes me to perspectives i haven't considered. and i also love my philosophy prof who's very thoughtful and well...philosophical but not in a pretentious or pompous way at all like i sometimes see on the internet)
🦂 hasche-mann (blind man's bluff) - robert schumann (tHe gRiNdDdDd) (i love my pharmacology prof for making the effort to make this hell of a course as easy and approachable as possible... it's still a lot tho 😵💫)
😾 miss shepherd's waltz (the lady in the van) - george fenton (despite sounding a lot like shostakovich's waltz no. 2, i do like this one for sounding especially like dame maggie smith's portrayal of grumpy. and that's how i feel right now as i'm very sleepy and still have to work over the weekend and hopefully i will be on track for next week 😖)
