I’ve said it before I’ll say it again: I am pro union. Pro strike. Pro eat the rich. Do not let mega corporations convince you that unionized labour is too extreme, and complain about strikes - but not that the workers are an inconvenience, complain that the corporation’s inability to meet demands is an inconvenience. The unions are not the problem. It is the 1% who refuse to give up a sliver of their silver platter that is the problem.
I will gladly wait for any postal strike to be over if it means workers get fairer treatment (both benefits and pay, not one or the other). I will gladly wait for new shows if it means actors and writers do not need to live in fear of AI or being unable to pay their bills. I will gladly wait for everyone to be treated fairly and equitably.
And if you don’t like it, get off my lawn and go learn why you should. We all deserve to be treated like people. Not disposable toothbrushes.
Fair treatment is not an inconvenience. The 1% is.

now that i have you here:
blue collar workers, fast food workers, service industry, retail employees, everyone who is overworked and underpaid
11/5/23
We hold the power of the world in our hands. They depend on us, but show us none of the gratitude.
Why do the top 10% of people make 90% of the money? That's not a fair system, none of this is right.
11/5/23
We all know it sucks, but we're still just dealing with it. The 2020's have been full of orchestrated plans made by the government and elite, why don't we make some of our own? We might not have the money, but we have the supplies.
It's time we show them that we're not gonna take it. It's time to bring back punk rock in a very tangible way.
11/5/23
This November 5 (because it has to be, obviously) no one go in to work. They can't fire us all. Cities will shut down entirely and they will realize how necessary we are and how seriously to take us. It won't take much.
Then, we compile our resources. We share what we can give. You work in a store and someone wants something for free? Let them have it. This product seems to be defective, guess i gotta "throw it away."
Remember remember the fifth of november
There's enough of us for real change. Forget the electoral colleges, screw capitalism and everything it stands for. Get as many forks as you can, because we're going to EAT THE RICH
and here's the Eagle Nebula so Tumblr knows this is an astronomy post

As I comforted my cat through the loud fireworks that rang in the new year I realised how blessed I am to be able to hear such sounds and not worry for my safety. I couldn't help but think about the people of Gaza comforting each other, their families and pets, as they hear the sounds of bombs constantly not knowing if they'll be the next martyrs. Perhaps some of them do not even have time to hear the bombs at all. Perhaps it's the last thing they hear.
It's a new year but the genocide continues. Please do not stop talking about Palestine. Keep eyes on Sudan and DR Congo. Pray for all the oppressed and fight for them in whatever ways you can. Remember, none of us are free until all of us are free.

Hehehehehe.
I just did something deliciously rebellious.
REBELLIOUS THING UNDER THE CUT HEHE
So, the woman who gave birth to me was again being a piece of shit and making me swallow those horrendously huge antibiotic pills just to get rid of my acne (she's obsessed with me looking perfect, for those of you who do not know).
So, I swallowed them while looking directly at her, then smirked, holding up the cup.
I revealed that the "water" that I used to swallow the pills was in fact, sweet pickle juice.
Of course, she was mean to me again after that, but then after she left I proceeded to take nine pickles, eat the other half that my sister had bitten off of, and take a swig of pickle juice directly from the jar.
So, yes, I am satisfied.

You aren't helping any Palestinians whatsoever. You should just stop.
This is a disgusting comment. My family lived through apartheid in South Africa and suffered more than you could even fathom. One of the main reasons South Africa ended apartheid was due to the spread of information about what was happening and international solidarity.
If you support Israel in any capacity then you are the problem.
From the river to the sea Palestine will be free.

Ask Mahmoud about Saladin & Che
Let him know pen only hold hopes while sword fulfils promises
- Syed Qumail Hyder
Mahmoud ( Mahmoud Darwaish )
Saladin ( Salahdin Ayoubi, The one who liberated Jerusalem )
Che ( Che Guevara, The Cuban Revolutionary Leader)
Certainly! So, imagine you're having a conversation with Mahmoud about this:
"Mahmoud, you know, when I think about historical figures like Saladin and Che, I can't help but see this connection between their approaches.
It's like something i once said:
'A pen only holds hopes, while the sword fulfills promises.'
What I meant was, think of the pen as our dreams, ideas, and aspirations. It's what we use to write down our hopes for a better world. But without action, without the sword, those dreams remain just that hopes on paper. Saladin and Che both embodied this balance; they didn't just dream or write about change, they took action to make those dreams a reality. So, this couplet isn't just about the contrast between ideas and action, but how both are necessary to truly accomplish something meaningful.

Institutions resist change by their very nature. They are designed to uphold the status quo, which is why (while reform sounds nice) only revolution will deliver the seismic liberating change we, the working classes, frankly deserve.

The way I had to just force correct my 'For You' page on TikTok. All of a sudden it was just a bunch of random vids from topics I've never even followed to the water challenge like...they really thought they were gonna catch me slipping. Yeah I'm tired. But you know who else is tired? Every person in the middle of a war or genocide and struggle for freedom who can't even catch a breath let alone sleep properly.
The censorship is so fucking real. None of the creators I follow for Palestinian content are even appearing when I scroll since week so I have to actively search for them to like their newest vids, comment + share. Hell, its Sudan action week and I wasn't seeing any of that or the Sudanese creators either. I'm sure I'm not the only one so please guys, don't let up on doing all the things required to beat the darn algorithms.
The corporations are working hard iya, so we must work even harder to push Palestinian content to the top, to keep eyes on Sudan, on DR Congo, the Armenians, Uyghurs, every cause and people we're trying to keep focus on and push for. We have to put in the work.

Crow horrible challange:
Start writing a story using the prompt: "We have al eveing and a bottle of [alcohol]. Want to find out what secrets are at its bottom?" with any character you'd like and the tag 3 people who you want to continue it. You can give them their own prompts to include :D!
Maybe, For Crow's Birthday, I should finally do this!
Answers at the Bottom
"We have all evening and a bottle of crown. Want to find out what secrets are at its bottom?"
Janus was leaning against the door frame of Logan's room, holding out a bottle of dark brown liquid. It was tempting, after the day he had had, it was very tempting. His eyes were bloodshot and the mess around him only served as fuel to his fire, the burning desire in him to say fuck it all. "Why not," Logan muttered, pushing back his unkempt hair and walking towards the other man. His tie was askew, his glasses were slanted causing his vision to be blurry, and at some point he had lost his watch. Logan was a mess, he knew he was a mess, but Janus didn't comment on that. His best friend never would, at least, not while Logan was already down.
They made it to the kitchen, Janus gathering cups from the cabinet with practiced ease, and pouring them both a shot. He set both cups on the table and Logan had downed his before Janus had taken his seat. The calmer of the two men poured Logan another shot and was silent, waiting for his friend to explain, but Logan wasn't even sure where to start.
He took this shot more slowly, allowing the burn to really sit in his mouth, watching as Janus again refilled his glass. He didn't immediately drink this one.
"I'm tired Janus," that was all Logan said at first, his voice unnaturally calm and even. "I'm tired of fighting and clawing and it still not seeming to get me anywhere."
Janus just listened, not saying a word, not interjecting his thoughts or feelings into the conversation. Logan appreciated it.
"I went to school for five years to get a double major, to have the skills to do the jobs I wanted to do, but no one wanted to hire me. They told me I was too young, that I was too inexperienced, so I found a job outside of my field, and I was good a it, but day after day I fought against people and policies that didn't make sense, that didn't actually want the best for the company or the people we worked with, so I changed jobs again. You would think with experience, I could get a different job with a higher salary, but no, I didn't have the right type of experience. All the while I get to hear stories from the people around me about how they lucked into the jobs they wanted, stumbling feet first into comfortable lives. So I keep my head up, keep working." He swirled the liquid in his glass, watching as it turned around the cup. "Because that's the key to success right? Hard work. I'll tell you something, it's not. That is a complete lie. The key to success is luck, and anyone who says it is hard work is lying to not only themselves to feel better, but to the people around them so they don't have to be responsible to help others. After all, why help anyone else when they could also be where you are at if they just worked harder?"
Logan downed another shot and Janus once again filled his glass, though this time a little less.
"I'm so tired of trying to hard and not being enough, Jay. I don't think I'm asking for that much. I just want to live my life without having to worry if the little luxuries I buy myself will push me over budget. I want to be able to buy books without a second thought." Logan sighed, resting his head on the table. "I just want to stop struggling to live."
Logan fell silent, and there were a few minutes where the only sound in the room was the tick of the clock, but then Janus finally spoke, finally taking his own first shot.
"It sucks, we live in a capitalistic hellscape where we are mocked by others in other countries for things we no longer have control of. We are a spectacle, so what are you going to do about it?"
Logan looked at him curiously, obviously not knowing what answer Janus wanted.
"You can continue to complain, and we can continue to drink, and that will be just fine, or... we can work on something bigger, change the system."
Logan was unimpressed. Janus always had grand ideas of how to solve a problem. He was dramatic like that, always wanting to start a revolution. "How would you even do that in a tangible way? What could you do that would help things change?"
"Not me, you."
Now he was even more confused. What did Janus expect him to be able to do?
"No more attempting to fix the government from the inside. It doesn't work," Janus said, raising his glass to the sky, looking through it as he observed the liquid. "I'm talking about a full over hall. I'm talking about a coup."
Logan looked up at Janus, surprise in his eyes as he gently shook his head. He was not the type to start a coup and he certainly wasn't the type to lead one. He pour himself another shot after snatching the bottle from Janus.
"And what exactly do you think I can achieve. I have been told many times that I am the least interesting in our friend group, that I am no fun, and I am consistently ignored. What makes you think I could be the face of somethings so volatile?"
"Plain and simple," Janus stated, a smirk carving it's way along his lips. "You will have me by your side and there is nothing that the two of us can't do together."
Logan's face blushed, if asked later he would blame it on the alcohol but he was well aware of the real reason behind his rosy complexion. Janus wanted him, no, needed him, and it was so very good to be needed.
Happy Birthday Crow!
@edupunkn00b @treeni @naminethewriter Would any of you like to continue the story?
