Okay that might work, I’ve thought about it my only hang up having been that I’ve seen it a lot (John Dory in da bottle) and I wanted to try something fresh but like I’m also someone who will just change things on a dime should it benefit the stories and characters and JD in da bottle would make for great character moments. Though I’m still probably going to draw little things from the other possibilities, I only really have two other things maybe, just for fun.

I’m still not sure about making this a big thing but I’m all for just having fun with it so if you guys have anything you wanna see lemme know!!

Before we get started I’d like to say that as a certified pun hater, the title was not my idea

and now that we’ve gotten that outta the way…

second ever trolls tk fic!! Yippee! Thx again isitwp for the abundance of prompts and patience, i greatly appreciate it

so without further ado…

we got a silly scenario where Viva n Clay are having a sleepover! Viva wants to share all her best jokes, but Clay doesn’t find them funny at all (me core), so since she hasn’t made him let out even the smallest of titters all night, she feels she needs to help him out…

“Wait wait, really, this is a good one! This’ll make you crack wait”

It was nearly 11:30 at night and Viva had been constantly blabbering out the stupidest dad jokes for probably an hour at this point; Clay was honestly impressed at how she could remember so many.

He was not, however, impressed by the puns themselves.

“Why can’t dinosaurs clap their hands?” Viva was sitting cross-legged on the carpeted floor across from Clay, leaning forward in anticipation for his reaction to her next joke.

Clay sighed and rolled his eyes. “I don’t know, Viva.” He groaned, growing tired of all this.

“Because they’re extinct!” She exclaimed, and clapped her hands together, barking out a couple laughs before settling down and looking at Clay’s emotionless face.

“That one’s different,” he stated, earning a disappointed sigh from Viva.

“Not into literal jokes either, huh?” She asked, fidgeting with the fabric of the carpet.

“I already told you, jokes in general just aren’t funny at all to me. I’m more into slapstick humor, or-“

“Can I just try a couple more? Pleasepleasepleaaaase?”

“Fine, but-“

“I gave my handyman a to-do list, but he only did jobs #1, 3, and 5. Turns out he only does odd jobs!”

Clay simply blinked at her, looking as bored as ever.

“Eh? Come on Clay, that was a good one!”

“It really wasn’t, Viva.”

Viva groaned, her ears drooping. “Dude, why do you have to be so serious all the time?”

“I’m not that serious! I agreed to have a sleepover, didn’t I? I’m just not a fan of puns. I know Poppy would love them though, so save em all for her, alright?” He wasn’t entirely upset about Viva’s yapping, though. There was something about seeing that look in her eye when she told a joke she was really proud of that was just so… he couldn’t quite come up with a word to describe it, despite his complex vocabulary.

Viva chewed on a random lollypop she had gotten from fuck knows where (Clay decided not to question it), seemingly deep in thought. Then her eyes lit up, and she slowly looked up at Clay with a mischievous grin. Clay sighed again as she shuffled closer to him.

“Not another joke… can we just find something else to do?”

“Clay, I bet you.. uh… three groan tubes that I will get a laugh outta you from my jokes tonight!” Viva betted, now sitting next to Clay. He almost wanted to fake a reaction, just to make her happy…

Nope. Gotta lock in.

“Groan tubes? Uhh okay, I guess”

Viva giggled with excitement. “Okay! Who won the neck decorating contest? It was a tie!” Before Clay could say anything about how dumb that was, she drilled her fingers into his side, causing him to yelp at the ticklish sensation.

“g-GAHA- Vihiva, what the heck?”

“I’m not done- dogs can’t operate MRI machines, but catscan!” This time she pulled him close and blew a raspberry into Clay’s neck. He cackled as he tried pushing her away. “You thought it was funny! You laughed! You laughed! She teased in a singsong voice. Clay shook his head, still grinning from the raspberry.

“nohoho I didn’t! Cheater-“

“What do you call a dog that meditates? Aware wolf!”

She blew another raspberry against his neck, shoving him to the floor and pinning him down in the process. Now for the grand finale.

“AHAHAHA- Vihihiva! C-cut it ohout!” Clay didn’t put much effort into trying to get up, as he was too flustered.

“I tried to make up a joke about ghosts, but I just couldn’t. It had spirit, but no body!” Viva lifted his shirt and blew the fattest raspberry on the middle of his stomach, and in response got the loudest and most joyous laughter out of him. She loved the sound. She sat beside him and chuckled, waiting as he took a few deep breaths. She was done tormenting him for now.

“That was straight up evil, Viva.” Clay said, but with the tone of his voice Viva knew he was joking. She grinned and leaned over and gave him a small peck on the cheek, his face growing bright red as a response.

“You’re a good sport. Take this groan tube, as a thank you!” She pulled a bright blue plastic stuck from her hair and handed it to him. Clay laughed, a little distracted still by the kiss though.

“th-thanks, heh. You always have one of these on you?”

“Oh, I got a bunch!” She tilted het head to the side and a bunch of OOOOOEEEI EEAAAAOOM sounds came from inside her hair. The two laughed at how whimsical it was.

Clay sat up and Viva hugged him, and, caught off guard (in the best way possible), Clay froze for a second before hugging her back. He loved how she made him more comfortable to loosen up.

He was totally gonna get her back for the tickling, though.

The Renault suit really lends itself to the Hussar uniform! Also the Ferrari one is kinda stunted a bit comparatively bcs I accidently drew over the Renault one so I had to recover the backlog and was afraid to touch it any further LOL

rambling / infodumping under the cut again !!

i’ve been meaning to get to viva for awhile tbh, i’ve just been distracted with a lot of stuff :’) her backstory / separation is about the same, but this time she doesn’t have clay to be the serious side of running hole-n-fun. she still has friends obviously (there’s 2 main ones who i plan to draw soon ^_^) but she kinda ends up more serious than she is in canon :P i was thinking of drawing how she got captured exactly, but i’ll probably save that for a later time. with her, i want to eventually focus more on her life as a solo leader ;3

Whenever I start posting about Leopaldon, I wonder if I shall tag them as simply "Leopaldon" or "Leopaldon Guilty Gear".. Since, well, they're obviously named after a rather obscure band.. (In the west, at least)

viva found cooper a few months after the pop trolls began setting into their new village. still fresh off the loss of poppy, viva took him in and helped raise him alongside king peppy.

in this au, he's something of pop village's "adopted prince" (before later learning he's the long lost prince of funk). should anything happen to viva, he would've been the one to take over.

not so fun fact: king peppy often accidentally calls him poppy

Hello, I really love your broppy kid Ivy. Could you tell us more about her?

Yeah! Any specific questions I can answer? I can share just my current thoughts and ideas about her and what I'm working on.

Ivy was an "oops" baby, lol! What started as Branch having an off day turned into chaos when he noticed an egg in the middle of the night after he was unable to sleep. Poppy was the calm one but Branch was completely terrified at first, and Ivy ended up becoming his whole world. Ivy shows strong resemblance to Grandma Rosiepuff, which melts Branch and softens his heart. She starts as an only child but eventually gets a sibling.

(Fun fact, I pulled a bunch of inspiration and influence for her design from Viva's concept art! Her hair and colors, I always love sharing this little fact tbh)

She definitely has Poppy's personality but amplified as a child, her energy is off the walls and she keeps her parents' hands full, at least until she hits her teens. She was a wild child, constantly getting into trouble but she was just being a kid. As a young adult her personality shifts, and she becomes calmer yet more sassy, haha. She is very family oriented, and loves to bond with her aunts and uncles.

(Example of Ivy shenanigans...Branch is not happy with her because she went and got herself all dirty before they had a royal family appearance to attend)

Most Trollings can start singing from a very little age, but Ivy did not sing for the first time until she was probably 14. Branch and Poppy never rushed her, but it was odd that their daughter was the only one who was shy about anything musical considering it was in her blood. She did sing, just by herself. She has a confident exterior but deep down she cares a lot about how she's perceived, since she is destined to become queen one day. She does overcome her shyness and becomes a great performer.

A lot of the story I have figured out focuses on her as a teen and young adult, and how she navigates life as princess. In her original ref I made, it has more info on her personality. And I hope to post another part to it soon!

Trolls Tumblr, it is my pleasure to introduce to you...

THE RADIO TROLL

Asha, aka The Radio Troll, is one of the daughters of King Peppy. She's 35 years old. She was separated from Peppy and Poppy along with Viva, Clay and the Putt Putt Trolls during the Great Escape (she would've been roughly 15 at the time) hence why her colours are gone from her being a teen onwards. However there's a catch. Typically, grey trolls attempt to regain their colour...Asha didn't. The belief that the rest of her tribe besides the Putt Putt Trolls were dead caused her to make a rather crazy decision. Asha, in a way, embraced the darkness that her lack of colour brought. By giving up her colours and awakening said darkness, Asha was given abilities related to her job as a radio hostess such as:

- Her radio dial eyes which she can trigger either on command or as a result of intense anger.

- She is able to put a radio effect over her voice with or without her mic. This means she can distort her voice to intimidate others when needed.

- She can glitch out the screens of electronic devices simply by looking at them.

(Yes before my inbox gets flooded with the same question, I did get inspo for Asha's abilities from Alastor from Hazbin Hotel.)

After the escape, Asha ended up at Hole N' Fun. Viva was the fun, Clay "took care of the boring stuff" and Asha was the entertainment in the form of radio. In terms of personality, Asha is rather difficult to explain. She isn't entirely bad...but she isn't entirely good either. She's definitely resentful towards her father for not attempting to search for them and Asha couldn't go herself because Viva couldn't risk losing another sister. In Asha's eyes, Peppy found it easier to assume she was dead.
