favorite thing: he genuinely has a lot of capacity as a complex character and a foil to Danny I mean think about it right Danny won't tell his parents out of fear they'd kill him. why the hell wouldn't Vlad have that same fear??? there could've been a whole "they will never accept you and you know this" and that's so deep

least favorite thing: they don't do what's mentioned above. like ever. in the ep Vlad is introduced in Danny just straight up says "my parents would love me anyways but they'd hate you." which a) is blatant for the mc to just say that and b) completely erases the value of them foiling each other. instead of a complex narrative battle you end up with a Good Guy and a Bad Guy. meh.

fanon pet peeve: EVERYONE IS OBSESSED W HIS OBSESSION WITH MADDIE (GROSS AND BAD) ND REFUSES TO THINK ABOUT HIS POTENTIAL AS A CHARACTER OUTSIDE OF THAT. like people just go "oh stinky Maddie simp" whenever he's brought up instead of thinking "well that was a poor way to take the narrative because otherwise this could have been a sympathetic character."
