So maybe Jungkook didn’t have a valid reason to narrow his eyes once you left him alone after he’d mustered up the energy to sit up on the bed, pouting to himself after he was turned away in the midst of tossing his leg over the edge of the mattress, about to boldly follow your footsteps into the shower until he heard the lock click.

“Wha..” Confusion spilling from his doe eyes, he stopped dead in his tracks and ruffled the back of his fluffy bed hair, staring at the door with his brows slightly furrowed as he made out the sound of the shower from outside the connected bathroom, “Whatever, fuck you.” The man raised his voice to shout the following, already knowing that you wouldn’t be able to hear him, “Not like I also wanted to shower or anything!”

Jungkook was clearly pouting and he’d rather get a hundred carpet burns than let you see that side of him no matter how much it bothered him, so the man ‘brushed it off’ and scooted his bare ass further up the bed, stopping when his back met the wooden headboard behind him.

He figured this would be the perfect time to catch up on his texts, now that you decided to leave him completely alone. (It wasn’t even that big of a deal, honestly, yet the sulking man seemed awfully desperate to look for other ways to distract his brain from thinking about it, naturally tapping on his and the guys’ groupchat).

He always prepared himself for the most chaotic situations, just a few weeks ago the chat went crazy bickering over who would pay for Hoseok’s bail money after the latter got drunk off his ass, and funnily enough, the week before that one Hobi sent a long ass text declaring he decided to stop drinking.

Taehyung chewed on his bottom lip from his bedroom, hesitating on whether he should throw his best friend under the bus just to save himself from any more unsolicited revelations in front of new interest Jimin, or suck it up like a man.

After that’d been set in stone, readying for his pockets to hurt, Jungkook carelessly tossed his phone aside and combed one hand through his oily hair, on his feet and on his way to invite himself into the shower with you.

You wouldn’t mind, right?

It’d only been 5 minutes since you stepped into the shower, just standing under the shower head and letting the steaming hot water run down your body.

What if he left?

No, he wouldn’t leave again.

But what if he did?

The thought left an unsettling feeling in your stomach and you had this sudden urge to hit pause on your shower and check he was still there, lying naked on your bed, but you held yourself back. Caring this much was not a good sign.

“Open up,” Jungkook annoyingly rattled on the doorknob with his forehead pressed against the door, unknowingly soothing your anxiety while acting like a needy child, not once stopping his tugging and turning on the metal knob. “Let me innnn!”

Alright, now he was fucking with you, grinning whilst waiting to meet you face to face.

The constant rattling of the doorknob startled you, but Jungkook’s whiny voice was one you could always recognise, even if he was faking it. At least he didn’t go home, so that was a win for you.

You stopped massaging your scalp, bits of bubbles following your every move as you stepped out of the shower, leaving the water to run. The bathrobe that was hanging behind the door was now draped over your body to cover your front, now holding onto the doorknob and fighting off the hopefulness in your eyes.

“God, I thought someone was breaking in,” you sigh, holding the bathrobe tightly to your chest. “What do you need, Kook?” You try to sound as unamused as you could spotting the stupidly attractive grin on his face, yet the sight of him from the neck down played as a distraction.

“What does it look like I need? A goddamn shower.”

Jungkook was right about a shower. Things got so messy and he was walking around the dorm with his dick out, he probably made more mess for you to clean up.

Pushing past your dumbfounded self, Jungkook didn’t question why you were covering yourself up after what you both just did, but he figured he’d get to see you naked soon enough if you were about to shower together.

Like regular friends did, of course.

“What are you waiting for?” The man turned to look over his shoulder after stepping under the lukewarm stream of water, staring at you past the wet hair that fell over his eyes, “Join me.”

Grabbing a bottle of soap he found on the side, Jeon thought about washing himself but changed his mind upon realising there was someone else that could do it for him.

“Yo, shower hogger,” the taller tapped your shoulder with his index finger, waiting until you turned around to raise his brows and glance down at his body expectantly, extending the bottle of soap out towards you, “I’m just so tired, help me wash?” He felt like he was quoting the beginning scene of a porno, and Jungkook knew that you knew that he was exaggerating.

You looked up at Jungkook with an ‘are you serious’ kind of expression, raising a brow at him as if he was crazy. “You’re tired? Please,” you shook your head. If anything, you should be the one that’s tired, especially after that mind-blowing head session you have him, but still, you gave into the big man, grabbing the bottle of berry scented soap from his grasp and squeezing a generous amount onto your palms.

“Since when did you need help taking showers? Last time I checked, babies needed that.” you lather the soap in your hands, rubbing them together to create more bubbles before taking a step back and looking the man up and down, deciding where the hell to even start. “You’re a big baby, aren’t you, Jeon?” you tease, finally deciding to set your palms flat on his chest as you kept your eyes trained on him, very much mocking him with just your eyes.

Jungkook was definitely not built like a big baby, but there were times where he’d do the most endearing things that made you wanna squeeze his cheeks and gauge out his doe eyes. Like, when you’d upset him over little things, he’d sit around pretending he wasn’t upset but you would clearly see the pout on his face, with the added crossing his arms over his chest (exactly like a child).

You grabbed onto his bicep, pulling his body closer to yours a little and snaking his arm around your waist just to keep a secure hold on you so you both could catch some of the water running up above. You wondered about your next move. It seemed a little unusual, massaging his chest under the shower, but then again, you’d already done far from appropriate things; including sweaty bodies, someone’s tears, and a shitload of cum.

Yet, with all those doubts, you didn’t hesitate to kiss him back. God knows you wanted to kiss him and he was merely doing you a favour by getting Jungkook to make the first move. It was unexpected, but that’s what made it all the best.

When he did finally pull away after a full minute of tasting your soft lips, his tongue cheekily swiped over his bottom lip while still cupping your face in his big hands, looking into your eyes with that endearing smile that made your heart jump.

You stopped moving your hand, leaving it to rest again his chest whilst your free hand made home on top of his, your fingertips briefly brushing over your cheek as you intertwined your fingers, pulling his hand down to your chest.

“You don’t realise it, but you have my heart running laps,” you whisper softly, squeezing Jungkook’s hand and suddenly releasing him from your hold, doing your best to turn your back on him and bask under the warm water raining above.

Jungkook wasn’t that stupid though, he was perceptive only when it seemed advantageous to him, which was something you picked up on over the years. He’d be able to crack this one. Surely.

You groaned quietly to yourself, lulling your head back a little to have the water slip down your front, but you were too distracted by the warmth to notice your head falling back against his chest, your body relaxing as you released a soft breath.

Nothing outright witty or smart-assy slipped out his mouth during the shared, tender moment between you both; Jungkook acknowledged your words within his own mind, quietly, digesting whatever it was that that had the back of his neck and tips of his ears drowning red.

The man thought about your— ‘you have my heart running laps’ —for quite a while now, a week to be exact, and sometimes it’d pop in his head at the most random times, it was lowkey starting to freak him out.

Wherever Jungkook was, so were you. Figuratively.

In his mind that was usually blank, you were there, present as always while prompting his heart to beat recklessly and his lungs to stutter whilst they filled with air, often catching him off guard.

Truthfully, Jeon had been too busy battling it out with noobs on Call of Duty, to really question what you meant that day. You weren’t making it easy for him to talk to you either. You completely shut him out after the shower ‘incident’ (which was approximately 2 days ago) and used the excuse of ‘I need to catch up on my assignments’, to avoid him.

Obviously he didn’t know that, but he wasn’t suspicious either. It was normal for you to go radio silent for a couple days to focus on your studies, and Jungkook respected that. Normally he’d bug you, but not this time around.

Which was weird.

Even Taehyung found it odd, coming back home and finding Jungkook still playing his game. He was high as hell, but he knew something weird when he saw it.

Slumping against the empty space beside Jungkook, Taehyung carelessly throws his arm around the younger’s muscly shoulders. “What’ve you been up to, then? You been sitting on your ass this whole time?” he asks, eyeing the TV screen and seeing that he was currently in the game lobby, waiting to start a new match. “No girls over tonight? Not even Y/N?”

Even though he was high, a part of him wanted things to set sail between you and his roommate.

“Were you too shy to call her? Or did she just reject you when you tried?” Taehyung’s assumptions weren’t impossible. He’d been around long enough to watch Jungkook’s countless invitations to hang out or get something to eat, get straight up rejected by you because you were too busy studying.

“Ah, Y/N?” No use in brushing it off now.

Two days without seeing you or talking to you, felt like an eternity, but Jungkook was determined to stay quiet. Ever since you both hooked up for the first time, he’s mostly been the one to text or call to ask if he could come over and y’know what, that is if Jeon excluded the times he’d just show up at your doorstep unannounced.

Point was.. he was waiting for you to need him, not the other way around like it often was.

Now, Jungkook wasn’t expecting you to text him and blatantly say how much you needed him to come over and fuck you so good you’d forget about everything you studied (even if that would make him harder than anything else in the world), but even just an ‘i miss you’ or ‘i’m done studying, come over’ would make him drop anything and everything for you.

It was a new and weird feeling, thinking like this. He never waited around for a girl, even if he had a line of them waiting to get dicked down by him.

“I know she’s not the type, but a text saying that she needs me- if you know what I mean, and not the other way around? I’d give her my kid, man.”

That was a complete reach and even if Jungkook did chuckle a little at that, his feelings and everything else he said were true. The younger shrugged and played off those strong feelings, “It’s whatever, though. You probably felt the same way about a girl you hooked up with at some point in time, right?”

All Taehyung could think about was ‘who the fuck possessed his roommate?’ No, even better question; ‘why is a girl making his best friend feel like this?’ In all the years Taehyung knew Jungkook, never had he ever seen the younger male care so much about a girl he fucked.

But… there was a difference. You weren’t just any girl he fucked. You were Jungkook’s only girl friend that he fucked.

Given the history between you two, things obviously felt more fragile and more… intimate? At least that’s what Taehyung thought. He wasn’t even part of the relationship, but because of the younger being so new to experiencing such feelings, it was almost second nature for him to feel the same way (out of sympathy). “I don’t know, dude… I’ve never felt like that, but you sound like you’re having withdrawal symptoms being without her for so long,” he shrugs, eyeing the male who looked like he was so far down the ‘I’m in love with her, but i’m gonna act like I don’t care’ hole.

Taehyung could’ve easily lied and told Jungkook that it was normal for him to feel so attached to his girl friend, but who was he kidding? It wasn’t normal to feel so attached unless you were deeply in love.

“You sure you’re not… in love with her, dude?” he teases, ruffling Jungkook’s hair in the most brotherly way possible. He was only trying to scare the im younger male and make him overthink a little. “I’m kidding! Just stop being a pussy and go to her. Tell her what you want. Like, straight up. I’m tellin’ you, girls dig that. There’s nothing girls want more than a guy being straight to the point.”

Jeon Jungkook was most definitely, most surely not in love with you. What even was love? He could think of a few examples..

His dad cutting off the crusts in his mom’s sandwiches, Hoseok babysitting Namjoon, Mrs. Kim working hard to make sure her small, country-boy Tae went off to a nice college (and got away from his ego-filled dad. Jungkook met him a few times and he was an A class asshole).

Either way, the younger never really saw that kind of love for him. It all seemed unattainable and whatever Jungkook was feeling towards you, it couldn’t have been love. Maybe lust, just in his own special way..

“I’m not in love with her, are you crazy?” Jeon sighed out loud and considered taking Taehyung’s advice for real, just maybe not at 12:30 in the morning.. “Okay, fine, but,” Jungkook turned his body to chuckle at the irony in his roommate’s words, “When have you ever been straight up with a girl, Tae? Was it when you asked her to give you that fresh hickey on your neck tonight?”

It was huge and Jungkook had been eyeing the red bruise just underneath Taehyung’s jaw for a few moments prior. “Was this before or after you went to meet up with Jimin because damn,” the younger was laughing now, inching to take a closer look at possibly the biggest hickey he’d ever seen, unaware it was Jimin who left those very marks.

As if he couldn’t be any more skeptical than he already was, Taehyung’s palm was quick to smack against his neck, making himself wince in the process as he discreetly rubbed the bruised area and avoided all eye contact with Jungkook. His jaw tensed as he tried to stop himself from blushing. Remnants of tonight’s events were running through his mind, and he had to stop before his dick got hard again. But that seemed impossible. Jimin was just this ultra, superior, ethereal being with the superpowers to keep his dick hard and heart fluttering for days on end. “Hey!” Taehyung scowls, smacking Jungkook’s head (not too hard) and pulling away from his susceptive gaze.

“Firstly, mind your own, secondly, I got bitten by a mosquito.” That was the lamest excuse in the book, but once again, this is where Jeon’s cluelessness played at his advantage. “Jimin lives in this whole other area, like expensive apartments and neighbourhoods and shit. There’s palm trees everywhere, too so there were a lot of flies,” Taehyung explained; sounding as brief and unbothered as possible. In case Jungkook didn’t believe him, he added, “Seriously, It felt like I was in another country when I arrived.”

Hopefully he played it off well. The man was pretty good at acting, especially when it came to promising girls he’d spend another night with them. It never happened.

“Whatever, man, turn the game off. I need the couch,” he yawns dramatically whilst stretching his arms above his head. “I can’t feel my legs.” It was a natural occurrence for Taehyung to sleep on the couch after a night of non-stop drugs. He would quite commonly complain about not being able to feel his legs because they’d be so numb, thus deeming him immobile until sober the next morning.

Taehyung executed the lame excuse perfectly, Jungkook completely brushed it off.. right after he finished tending to the minor concussion from his roommate.

Annoyed but kind, he ran off to the kitchen and paired an Ibuprofen with a tall glass of water to sit on the coffee table at an arm’s reach for the other male to quench his fleeting sobriety with, taking his earned title of ‘best friend’ extra seriously while throwing a spare blanket over Tae’s limp body on the couch, turning off the TV seconds later and going into his room.

Throwing himself to lie on his bed, the sudden urge to send you a text loomed over. He knew, he knew… he was supposed to let you reach out to him, but maybe you were just busy and forgot about him. Plus, waiting around was boring and nowhere near as exhilarating as—

It was probably advantageous to you now, since studying was always the excuse you used to get yourself out of unwanted situations. And this wouldn’t be a surprise to Jungkook. He had the shorter end of of the stick when it came to wanting to hang out, you would always reject his pleas.

This past week, you needed to ‘get back on your grind’ and all this faffing about with Jungkook left a lasting impact on your daily routine.

Every time you sat on your couch (which was often) you’re reminded of the very first night you both laid hands on each other. How could you forget? There was probably remnants of that night still burnt into your couch. Every time you’re sat at your desk, you’re reminded of the little note Jungkook left the following morning, apologising for leaving so early.

Hard to believe, your poor self displayed the note at the corner of your desk, right in front of your old textbooks. It seemed cringe, but you found it cute and got some sort of serotonin looking at it while you were studying. Every night when you go to bed, you mindlessly stare at the empty space next to you for at least an hour before falling asleep, thinking how it would’ve been Jungkook next to you.

And the shower… where you indirectly confessed to him, but instead, only confused yourself, and you had no doubt you confused him too (he wasn’t any smarter than you were).

In all honesty, you were waiting for Jungkook to approach you first, which was too much to ask for since he always texted first. But, you were hoping he’d say something about your last interaction. Was the “you got my heart running laps” not enough for him? Or was he really that clueless?

Whatever it was, you didn’t dwell on it, almost jumping out of the comfy seat at her desk and lungeing to reach your phone off the bed. Your heart was doing that annoying racing thing and your fingers were twiddling at your screen.

Damn. Jeon was torn between laughing or having a go at you for that line as he laid out sprawled over his bed thinking of what to make of it, a tight lipped smile settled things and pushed through Jungkook’s efforts to take small offense to what you said.

However, that sly grin always appeared whenever you were confident and smart-assy with him. With shame lesser than -10000, Jungkook could easily admit he found it hot. I feel people just like to be miserable like that show is fantastic brilliant fun I was just smiling through out watching them just go and be themselves with eachother and I'm not commenting on anything at the moment because I'm waiting for all the behind scenes and interviews to peice things together to confirm my hunch about them

But one thing we learning, Jimin is not always running to save Jungkook nor is Kook always babying him. Matter fact, when asked who babies Jimin the most members thought that was Tae not Jungkook and there a reason some of us gravitated towards Vmin in the 1st place.

And its interesting watching and wondering what goes through their minds in such moments like is it the adrenaline rush the high the unjudgmental environment cos what makes Jungkook look at Jimin and go I miss him and insist on being with him all the time while Jimin literally be running away from that man sometimes.

And I used to say on my main how their dynamic was mostly JK being the one chasing an elusive Jimin and not the other way round.

I'm yet to dissect their conversation about not hearing from eachother blah blah blah but my assumption is if this whole trip was Jimin's way of reconnecting and giving Jungkook that us time he was pouting about that would make so much sense. But also I'm interested in the why they weren't hearing from each other or texting cos I've been said when you see Tae Kook spending a lot of time together it's almost always the case JK and JM on some bs shenanigan.

But I was hoping that wasn't the case this time and Jungkook was genuinely making efforts to connect with Tae- which I deadass feel is the case in this situation. Cos like Jungkook come on, you can't always be this predictable 🙄

Now I'm just starting to wonder, if in going solo acting solo and independent was getting out of hand for both of them. Because for me, I don't see anything wrong with Jimin focusing on his career, getting his own apartment living independently from Jungkook.

Jikook has been so careful post their solos and I feel everything they've said and done post solo was so they don't end up screwing serving together.

So two things have been confirmed for me, for us:

Two, and and I mean it is clear and there was never a doubt that this whole journey was them wanting to connect- we perhaps just didn't know why.

For me I assumed they wanted that because they were going into Military might be separated for a while but then it turns out they were actually gonna go together anyways so it didn't make sense to me that they didn't spend that time with other people such as family and friends and even the members instead.

Rather they chose to do a show just the two of them.

And Tae saying it's Jeju he couldn't let them do that without him- it wasn't even about spending quality time with his "friends" right before enlisting its more so hey that's somewhere I wanna go.

Ok, so let's start with your base line @malecsma1a , which to me is wrong when it comes to JM. JM does mention JK. He seeks out comments about him to have a reason to, but also talks about him or listens to his songs or comments on his lives (actively seeking JK out). JM is way more careful than JK, who in an essence doesn't give a flying fuck what people think of him. The only reason JK hasn't done more at this point is because he's respectful of his partners wishes. A partner that at this point in time is not ready to make that move yet. It's their current contracts with the company, it's their looming military service, it's their families, it's the fandom, it's who knows what it is, he's just not ready for that yet.

So JM is cautious and he goes with the easy subjects to talk about, initiating talk about, Jin and Hobi. Suga not so much (unless it was during their promotional period). I'm trying to think when he talked about RM last, and the only thing I can think of is during his Billboard #1 live telling us RM congratulated him. I might be wrong.

Anyway, JM initiates talk about them cause they are easy. Easy subjects, easy connections, just easy. Or, more like safe.

As for JK, ooh he wants to talk about him, he's itching to talk about him. You can see it in this pre-release lives when he seeks out the comments about JK and answers them or he listens to Euphoria and doesn't stop talking about JK. Did you see how happy JM was during his post recording live when JK spammed his comments? It's just that JM needs a reason to be able to talk about JK, cause you know, Jikook are kind of a taboo subject. Brining up JK out of nowhere for JM is a landmine, a ticking bomb, so he's careful. I just wanted to clear that up. If JM doesn't mention JK it's not for lack of wanting to. JK is on his mind just like JM is on JK's.

Now let's please move on with another baseline statement that you haven't mentioned, one that HAS to be said time and time again.

How many interactions like that don't they tell us about do you think? I can tell you without any doubt that 99.9% of their interactions with each other are unknown to us. Online and off. And this definitely includes JM and Tae and most obviously JK and JM.

You mention 2 interactions between JM and Tae. The first we wouldn't even know about if not for Tae telling us during his live. The second we wouldn't have know about either if not for JM's cheeky Weverse post and Tae's snappy answer. How many more interactions are there that neither shared with us? We have no way of knowing. As for the airport Weverse interaction, it's obvious that they weren't going to be riding home together, as there were 2 cars waiting for them. So maybe say hi at the airport on the way out or something like that. JM had a skip in his walk, he was excited to get to the car and home (to someone else that was probably just a little more important to him) so he decided not to wait for Tae. Oopsy. These conversations they have on Weverse are for our benefit. They are done for the fans, period. Because again, we all know they have their group chat and each other's phones. Maybe they do it to show all's well between them, because of the buzz about things not being ok, maybe another way of keeping in contact with the fans, Idk.

Idk what is going on, if there is something going on, between JM and Tae.

We know about two times they didn't end up getting together. But we know they were planning to, and at the same time we don't know if there are other times they did meet up.

We can also deduct from those two times that they are obviously on speaking terms.

You are right to say that Tae barely mentions JM. He didn't even congratulate him publicly on his solo album nor his Billboard #1, and that is strange for someone that is his supposed soulmate. But this could be something done in agreement with JM. We just don't know. I do not want to make assumptions about the state of their relationship with near to no information. JK is obviously ok with Tae. And dare I say that I don't think he would be so ok with Tae if Tae did something to badly hurt JM? Because even without seeing them in one frame for months now, JK has made it abundantly clear who his no. 1 priority is, and that's JM.

JK has clearly gotten closer with Tae since their 2020 issues. It's taken some time, and I do think that JM being less available during his preparations for the album and promotions brought them closer still. But when I say close, it's by no means as close as he is with JM. Dare I also say that the kind of closeness is also different. It's a matehood kind of closeness. It's them being those friends that play online video games together, that go out once in a while with friends, for fun, for company. I really don't think there is more to that friendship. Tae is not someone JK finds solace in. The people he would turn to would be first and utmost JM, then perhaps Hobi and Jin. Tae is fun and games. A good distraction when there was no schedule, when he was off quilter, when JM was gone (in a sense, not really, but also not as available to him as he was used to up until not too long ago).

And we have Tae and his ever so often one sided mention of JK (one sided cause like you said, we barely have the same from JK). Is JK the only member he's in touch with? I doubt it. I have 1001 things going through my head right now as to why Tae is doing this. Sadly, none of them are him being genuine. I'm sorry. I love him, but this thing he's been doing, the one that even the best of ours (and I'm not including myself in that group, cause I was seeing it before and not loving it too much) are starting to question his motives about, it feels wrong. And it's not because of him championing his friendship with JK, which good for them, I'm happy they had each other to fall to when everyone else was super busy. It's the timing, it's the way he does it. Maybe if he wasn't so damn obvious about it, maybe if he was more suave, sophisticated in the way he was doing it. But he's not. I think he needs to take a lesson or two from JK, Mr. JM spoiler king and champion fan and supporter.

So, friends yes. Nothing more nothing less. Oh, and did I talk about what the company might be pushing here? No? Maybe I better not at this point. Maybe I better wait and see how things turn out, cause even if this is what the company wants, the big unknown here is just how much JK will comply.

As for Jikook. Those two are as good as ever. Good as gold. They are doing private right now. Here we come to that ever so important baseline you forgot about: not seeing them doesn't mean they aren't there nor does it mean that they are not happening.

Here's one of the times I've talked about what we aren't seeing and why it means absolutely nothing:

Remember back in mid 2022, after they went on a very long break, when there was all the talk about Jikook not interacting on SM, not being seen out together? Remember that? "Jikook have broken up" was all over the place (just like it was a second before JM's album release and JK's "have no mistake I love JM" lives) . Including coming from the usual insecure Jikookers that need the two to prove time and time again they are in a relationship (cause that's how life is isn't it? We have to prove to our surroundings that we are together otherwise we aren't?). Anyway, then we had the Seoul concerts, they were more than fine, LV, omg they were on fire, new tattoos included. Got back from LV and again that roller coaster of them not being seen together not interacting was in a loop. Good thing we had our president of the Jikook fan club to post from Washington showing us them out together. Good thing we had the JITB party BTB to show us the talk about them not interacting in the party were bull crap. Once again, seeing that content should have taught us a lesson - not seeing them initially in the clips and photos leaking from the party (well almost not seeing them, cause we did have that clipet (clip + snippet) of them in the corner JK's hand on JM's waist) doesn't mean they weren't doing their thing. You know, in the dark corner JK embracing JM's hand and all... and there was more. Believe me there was so much more that went on in that party that we haven't seen on tape.

Not seeing it doesn't mean it's not happening.

And before Busan, and then after Busan and before JM's album release, see the pattern?

JM and JK they are intimate. We kind of know it, let's not kid anyone. They have been together for years, they are sexually active, they are a long term couple. Yet, we have never seen them even so far as kiss have we? Does that mean they didn't or don't? I don't like talking about this stuff here, cause it's private, it's theirs, and that's why I'm stopping at the very innocent example of kissing, but I'm trying to make a point here. We don't see what they do 99% of the time, and I'd say since the hiatus it's already 99.9% of the time.

And yet, JK in the past few months, since Feb 2023, and even more so since mid March 2023 (his white day live) is telling us everything (in the way that he can at the moment). He's telling us they are still very much ok. He's telling us he knows stuff that we don't, stuff that he wouldn't know if they were not still very close. He's showing us just how much he cares for JM, how much he loves and supports him. He's telling us they are seeing each other, even if we don't know they are.

And JM in one song, in which he included JK, told us (so yes, the song is for us in the essence of him wanting us to know, but the letter is addressed to JK) how deep his feelings are for JK and that they are forever. JK joined him on that one.

They are good.

They are forever.

They both told each other and us that.

Look, I know you miss them. Miss seeing them. Miss seeing their interactions. I do too. So so much. Cause they are just happiness and hope all in one. Seeing their interactions, seeing how much love there is there it's precious and I miss it so much. But I'm not making the mistake, and don't you either, of concluding that not seeing these interactions means they aren't happening. They just aren't showing them to us, in the content that is.

There are a few reasons that come to mind as to why the company is doing this, although sorry but they are just being stupid. The lack of Jikook content at this point is more suspicious than any kind of content they might have had together under official supervision. For two obviously very close people, whatever label you want to attach to them, the lack of official content is screaming "why the fuck aren't they paired together?"

Not to mention the irrevocable fact that they are the two with the most electrifying chemistry. There is a reason that they used to be constantly paired together. They just work.

The company are the ones pushing these units and they have done so since the hiatus. It's Jihope and Yoonmin on the one hand and Taekook on the other.

The rhythm of Korea with BTS was one of the more obvious to see this agenda and the fact that it was JM and Suga chosen to champion Busan, yeah, felt weird to me.

Was there supposed to be chemistry? If there was, I didn't see it.

Side note: Notice how JM is wearing his special necklace in this official content. He doesn't do that. They are styled for these kind of clips. I do think that was a statement. Maybe not one necessarily for us.

In any case, that is one example.

You want another one?

JM's dance practice BTB is another. We wouldn't have seen JK there if not for JM's comment during his live about JK coming to see him practice. That BTB felt rushed and the JK part of it was evidently highly edited. Take what they show us there, less of a minute of JK being there, not even showing us his arrival (which means not showing us JM's reaction to his arrival), and compare it to the edit of Hobi coming to visit JM during the Like Crazy MV shoot. One pairing obviously being highlighted (oh, for months), the other downplayed.

There is more. All in the name of Hybe's end game. Yes, I really don't think this is being done to protect them. And I also don't think this is coming from them. If it was, JK wouldn't have rebelled the way he has against the company. JK's a good boy, he's compliant as a whole, but he is also a non conformist, and has his limits and he is being held back for too long. There are things they want to do and they aren't allowed to, and what we've seen in the past couple of months from them is their form of rebellion. What they are allowing themselves to do at the moment. JK deleting his IG. Make no mistake, that was his big fuck you to the company. His lives, not giving a fuck. Him supporting JM in the way he can being the loudest that he can under the circumstances. JM showing up in JK's comments but not only showing up, openly flirting with him. This was them saying "absolutely nothing has changed between us".

I told you this was going to be unnecessarily long, didn't I?

Well, bottom line is that I don't think the dynamics between JM and JK have changed, they are same old same old.

And to be truthful, I don't think that the dynamics between JK and Tae have changed either. Yes, they are closer in the sense that when JM is away JK is spending more time with Tae (either online or meeting up). They spend more time together but make no mistake, the dynamic is the same as it always was with those two, you could clearly see that in that Feb live when Tae showed up in JK's comments and then they went live on IG.

There are those that don't like me comparing, but I love to compare, cause that's how you know it's different, right?

The silence moments between JK and Tae in that live were outright awkward.

Then take the last time we had Jikook in a live together - JM's birthday back in October 2021, a Jikook masterpiece, lol. Their silences are electrifying.

It's the difference between staying quiet cause you have nothing you really want to or know to say and staying quiet because you want to say everything but are worried it will be too much.

Those dynamics were there before, and they are still there.

Taehyung's beautiful "Rainy Days" (Song Analysis)

Well...it's been a while, hasn't it? We've been silent but we are still very much around, still listening to the Tannie's music, watching all the content, still loving vmin and namjin, we watched all streamable D-Day concerts, the Disney+ movies, all of it, we've just basically been keeping our ARMY time to ourselves.

But then came Tae.

But then came Rainy Days. And we were lured back here to scream a little at what we've gotten.

And yes, before the inevitable anons come to try and discredit everything in this post, yes we are aware that (so far) Tae doesn't have any writing credits on the songs on Layover, Love Me Again and Rainy Days. But try as you might, no one can ignore just how vmin coded Rainy Days is and how specific some of the references are. Everyone picked up on it, regardless if they were a vminie, OT7 non-shipper, or even a xkooker. Posts crying about and pointing toward Park Jimin being the one were everywhere and honestly, I've missed moments like there.

So, Rainy Days, huh, let's talk about the vmin references, shall we?

First of all, can we talk about just how gorgeous and atmospheric Rainy Days is? And how very Taehyung it is? Because it just fits him truly so perfectly, just like Love Me Again does. I love how the soft mellowness of the song contrasts with the brutalistic architecture of the building shown in the MV, the old-school iMac, and the little Pomeranian acting as Yeontan. I did get tricked into thinking it was Yeontan until Tae did his live and told us, nope, that's Rocky, a doggy looking very close to how Yeontan does since he couldn't travel with Tae. We know Yeontan has health issues, so I should've guessed as much, but either way, it is absolutely adorable how much love for Yeontan is in Tae's debut as solo artist. Find you someone that'll love you as much and as deeply as Tae loves Yeontan. I'll wait.

I love the use of the iPhone sounds within the song, the notification tone as well as the typing sound, though it isn't very fitting (it also reminds me of vmin, how they enjoy FaceTiming, texting and calling each other) for someone who was the Samsung Galaxy ambassador ha ha. Wonder what Yoongi had to say about that.

But moving along to the lyrics, as well as two moments from the MV itself, there are a few vmin references that are hard to ignore. And they were "obvious" enough that basically everyone picked up on them.

The first little thing, and this one could very well be a reach, is this Little Prince/Jimin connection. In the MV Tae falls asleep watching TV and we're shown clips of a fox and a flower which immediately made everyone think of the fox and flower from the Little Prince, and then also the moment in the first season of In the Soop when Tae and Hobi went on their little trip and spotted a mural/poster for the Little Prince. Adorable.

Then in the second verse we have Tae singing the following line:

We can start again, open all the doors

The mention of doors made me perk up because it instantly reminded me of this line in Sweet Night:

That I still hope the door is open

So it feels like, if Rainy Days really is a vmin song, it would either play before Sweet Night, or after, when something came between them but Tae wanted a second chance, still had a hope that they could be together and that all things aren't lost yet.

Now this, who do we know basically laughs at anything and everything Tae says, who has mentioned time and again that Tae is the funniest, like in one of the RUN episodes he mentioned how Tae had been making him laugh all day as well's throughout the filming? That's right, our boy Jimin.

Next we have the line:

You're my four-leaf clover

Do I really need to explain this one? In a BB or memories DVD, I don't remember exactly, we had a moment when Tae was looking for a four-leafed clover and Jimin, to surprise and make him happy, went and acted as though he'd found one for it (though it wasn't a real four leaf one) which made Tae happy anyway. Years later for their performance of HOME, standing in front of what appeared to be a reference to the Mirror or Erised, we saw vmin wearing matching four-leaf clover necklaces with Tae appearing next to Jimin as though he was what Jimin's heart desired the most.

Then in the MV we have a scene where Tae is in some kind of art room creating. Eventually he picks up a baguette, which points for originality, and uses it to paint a Vante art piece showing a painting that looks like an alien with its little antennas. And who reclaimed the alien "nickname" just a few years and and who is basically the only one who can still call him that? Exactly. Jimin.

Speaking of whom, further in the lyrics we get this line:

Those hurtful words

And sure, perhaps I'm delulu and reaching, whatever, let me have fun, but still that line reminded me of something. FESTA 2020 where Jimin spoke about how he was sorry for the things in the past, how they were buddies back then (I'm still waiting for him to elaborate on that one, they were buddies back then so, Jiminie, what are you now? Care to share?) and got into a lot of disagreements and how he now feels sorry for the harsh words he used with Tae. And Harsh words can very much be hurtful. So another potential reference?

At the end of the day, as I mentioned before, Tae doesn't have writing credits on Rainy Days but, as you just read, those things just fit a little too well to be just a coincidence, right? So perhaps, just like they'd done with Chingu years prior, maybe Tae sat down with the producers/lyricist and told them what he wants in the song?

And that would be it. We're both extremely excited for the rest of Layover, for the next 3 (!!!) MVs, and all the promo Tae mentioned he has planned (based on ideas and things he saw ARMY had mentioned wishing for) and if he'll have writing credits on any of the songs. But it is a little strange to me how Tae has been so outspoken about working on and writing songs for his mixtapes for years, how he'd shown us snippets from his songs, and yet now as we are getting his debut album, no writing credits (so far). Guess we shall wait and see.

hello! it's quite easy if you have timeline animation window open.

1. position and align your text on your gif where you want it to start like so:

i do this by clicking on my base gif layer on my layers palette and making a selection around it (Select > All), then selecting the Move tool (V) and clicking on my text layer and using the alignment tools that appear at the top:

here i've anchored my text on the right and nudged it a few pixels away from the very edge. this will be the starting point.

2. on your animation timeline, click the dropdown menu on your text layer and select the clock symbol next to "transform"

you'll see a little yellow diamond appear at the start of your text layer. this is called a keyframe. the more keyframes you add to an element, it will basically record any movement of that element.

3. immediately drag your red play head to the end of your gif:

4. repeat step 1 by making a selection around your base, selecting your text layer, and repositioning your text to the left

you could also use Free Transform (Ctrl + T) and drag your text anywhere you want it to go. a new yellow keyframe should appear at the end of your gif which means it recorded the movement of your text moving from point A to point B.

i also nudged the text a few pixels from the edge on the opposite side, but that's just a preference.

now when you play your gif you should see the text pan like so:

5. convert your gif to frames, set your speed and save :)

the downside to this is it might create duplicate frames in your gifs when you convert it back to frames and you have to delete them. i haven't figured out a way to avoid that just yet.

i hope this makes sense!

here is a neat tutorial that follows the same steps if you want your text to rotate in a circle. it's also how you do enlarging text animations too like i did in that same set. you just use the Free Transform tool and make keyframes according to the effect you're trying to achieve.

It’s much more obvious they didn’t spend much time together in chapter 2, and I really want people to know that’s okay and it’s normal. People drift and come back together and the love remains,

how are people so comfortable speaking on vmins friendship but god forbid anyone says anything about jikook? not to mention we have literal confirmation from jimin himself that he video called taehyung quite often. Sure they didn't meet up but I choose to believe what the members say and according to jikook- they didn't really either. I don't buy the solemate narrative either but it's unfair to claim vmin are not close but the same reasonings don't apply to jikook.

I kind of agree but not really, I don't think you can apply the same reasonings to vmin and jikook when the case with vmin was that they were texting each other to meet up but never did whereas with jikook jungkook was constantly asking jimin to come to him so the vibes are different. one is when you promise someone you'll see them knowing you won't really, the other is someone actually wanting to see you but there is just no time. so if you go based by vibes there's a difference there. no one's claiming vmin aren't close but they are not as close as jikook and there's no point comparing the two to begin with. jikook were not seeing each other so jimin arranged for a whole ass show so they can travel together. vmin weren't seeing each other so tae invited himself along to jikook's trip. the two are just not the same lol

The JIMIN LOVERS CLUB..or should i say Smeraldo Garden Marching Band..

This might get lengthy, but I'll try to speak my heart out because what else is tumblr for ? Let's have a one sided chat.

From the recent happenings surrounding MUSE, we have seen Jimin lovers (pjms, jimin biased armies and some real OT7s) fight hard for Jimin.

I still remember how in 2023 after FACE, so called 'armies' made long threads and wrote long essays on how Jimin was indeed not sabotaged, but everything was his own choice. I wish I'd remember their @, but it's best not to spend energy entertaining people who love to stay blind just to satisfy their ego of being OT7 army. (yes it's an ego and a persona they can't let go of)

Seeing Jimin lovers promote using posters made me so proud. You know what it reminded me of? (Contd. Below)

It reminded me of early OG army. The army that would promote BTS when they were smaller and had lesser influence. The type of dedication that makes a big artist.

And you know what? That kind of dedication can now be been in Jimin lovers. They are getting down on streets, they are streaming, buying, doing everything they can. A dynamic fandom is what makes an artist organic and successful.

On some level, i believe:

"The next BTS is Jimin and the next ARMY are Jimin Fans"

I know this sounds bold and some of you may come at me for this. Army fandom is not the same as it was- it's filled with visual stans, twitter warriors who make shooter accounts just to feel something in their lives, toxic shippers, youtube and tiktok fans who have never streamed a song, consume 90% unofficial content because the real bts and their music is not why they were here in the first place.

But Jimin lovers (not the toxic solos) are in it for good. My TL on twitter is good. I follow some good OT7 armies, some scholar armies, people who deep dive into music, JM fanbases, and funny smaller accounts. I'm actually glad I've cleared my TL of shipper drama and irrational solos. The community is good out there.

Bonus: My opinion on member release during Jimin schedule(Type 1)

Honestly, from what I've seen so far, members are aware of what fellow members are releasing and when. So for those who think Jimin isn't aware...i have news for you. And don't forget that vmin kinda text regularly (there's proof). Even if Jimin knew that Tae plans to release this on army day, he's the kind of person who would absolutely support it. We all know the kind of person Jimin is. And it's not like BTS hasn't released more than 1 content in one day. The only difference is that now members are solo artists.

BUT- I do think that releasing 2 things and giving pre-orders for that other thing so close to Jimin's release is a bad decision on company's part.

They could have had other surprises or gifts for army day. Or could have announced the photobook pre-orders before Muse announcement. The timing is indeed terrible.

This could mean 2 things-

1. They are indeed intending on taking away attention (and sales) from SGMB.

2. They are using the momentum of the fandom to sell a photobook. Because we all know how active the fandom is during Jimin's releases.

3. Both of the above.

I think those who have their priorities right will buy Muse first. A photobook can wait, there are no records to make.

yg's room next to sj's because the younger wanted to be a little closer to his hyung (even though they live less than 10 min away from eo)

and vmin naturally find each other's rooms, but when th gets there jk is already in jm's room so they enjoy their time together until they all itch to bug their eldest hyung sj, so of course they tumble into his room grinning and bubbly with excitement-

except, yg beat them there, sitting right next to the bed in an armchair that is a little too small for his body to be curled into it along with his laptop balancing on the armrest. th ends up curled at the base of the chair, his hair tickling yg's legs but he doesn't care

because it's been too long since this many of them were in one place. yg types something up as th hums underneath him and eventually, he lowers his legs so th can wrap himself closer.

when they got there jm and jk settled on the bed, im now scrolls at the foot of the bed while jk watches sj play a video game on his laptop, both of them crunched against the headboard. Yet, they both manage to tangle their legs with jm's in an odd jumble of limbs.

and sj can't even falsify annoyance when jk knocks his knee against his be it means he is actually there, it means there aren't kilometers of space and a phone screen separating them from eo. he is really there, hugging his waist and shoving his short-haired head into his neck.

eventually, th makes it to the bed flopping on jm who wiggled his way between sj and jk's legs. the two sleepily groan from th's impact but jm's laugh drowns them out. he tells them hs went to his room and is now texting him asking if he is still awake.

because hs knows jm has him on emergency bypass, all of them do. of course they do. so jm's phone continues to chirp w/ea of hs's texts until jm tells him sj's room number. because of course hs looked for him, worried he fell asleep without brushing his teeth after an exhuasting plane ride.

and when hs gets there he finds nj nervously shifting his weight from foot to foot t in front of sj's door. he is so lost in thought when hs wraps his arm around his much wider waist he jumps. his already red ears burn more and he asks if they are still awake.

be of course even if nj wanted to go in he would rather walk away from a room full of comfort than bother them by waking them all up after an exhausting day.

he puts them first always. and hs knows when to push, so he squeezes the taut muscle of ni's side and knocks on the door. and when it opens he pushes nj inside, pushes him toward the five people who look to him for comfort like he does them.

hs makes a beeline for m and th, flopping onto their tangled bodies which naturally make room for him like a lost piece of their puzzle. but still nj lingers at the foot of the bed, hand clutching the comforter watching the five in bed slowly melt closer together.

then a hand in his, if he could call it that, it's the tips of yg's fingers tracing his calloused palm and then wrapping around his wrist. his touch light and soft, giving him ample opportunity to untangle himself from his grasp. but of course he doesn't, of course he follows.

he follows him to the other end of the room and they grab the couch pressed against the wall, slowly and sleepily they maneuver it to jk and sj's side of the bed.

nj motions for yg to take the side closest to the bed, closest to everyone else, but y coxes him onto that side with that same soft grasp. groggily sj groans about jk rolling over to spoon ni, but the eldest still tucks himself behind the younger in a warm embrace.

yg tucks his head under nj’s chin resting his cheek against his chest, and nj feels him relax against him. slowly, after he is sure everyone has fallen asleep, soft shores filling the room, nj falls asleep. all of them tucked away in a room full of their greatest comforts.

oh i love when we get onto the topic of the friendships in bts and how we perceive them. care to share which pairs, by your definition, would you call soulmates - if any? and what is your definition of soulmates?

to me soulmates are people whose souls seem to be related, made out of similar matter, people who understand each other on a deeper level that they don't share with others. i think the only true pair of soulmates in bts are jihope but i can also see namseok being called that

damn i was trying to think of a non hoseok pair but can't think of any i would assign the soulmates status. there are great friendships in there but imo not soulmates.

funnily, i wouldn't call vmin soulmates because they themselves have stated many times just how different they are (i understand that they must have a different definition of a soulmate than me).

I'd define soulmates as just a deep connection between two people built on top of a collection of things, or maybe not even many things but just something important. I don't personally believe in the concept of having a soulmate being a single romantic partnership, but more that people can have multiple soulmates and they can be toward anyone who you (general) can have strong connections to.

So based on my own definition I'd still probably choose the same two duos that you named, Jihope and Namseok. I mean clearly since I have my blog named after them and they are one of my absolute favorite dynamics, I think extremely highly of Namseok. I think they have a lot in common as people that then helps shape their overall relationship and how they present it. Both are extremely hardworking, often putting work above all other aspects of their life, they care about their craft and continue to challenge and change themselves as artists. They both value creativity, they value collaboration, they value expression, they enjoy periods of solitude, and periods of connection, Hoseok in the form of his family, while Namjoon seeks out his friends. They're very like-minded in their beliefs and how they go about supporting those beliefs (they both voted in the last S. Korean election, showcasing they value politics and their role in that process, they are also the two members who donate the most amount of money to causes they support, they are the two who showcase the most support to Love Your W, which is specifically a campaign for breast cancer awareness, etc.) And on top of all that ''heavier stuff'' they have a lot of trivial interests and behaviors that overlap. They're both the most active on social media, and engage with each other often, they both value public displays of support, they both value gift giving (as seen by Joon gifting Hobi a bunch of stuff from art to clothes to jewelry), they have similar taste in music, similar taste in art forms (figures, paintings), and just so much more. One last thing I'll bring up is their constant communication, like no matter how far away they are or what the other is doing they always stay in some form of contact. They make phone calls, they text each other, they're in group chats, like they both talk openly about just how frequently they talk to each other even about little things. Like Hobi texting Joon about how loud it was at his hotel in Chicago, sending him a video to give him an idea of how noisy is was, it's so simple and can be so easily overlooked but that's literally the kinda shit I'd do with MY close friends or family like 'can you believe this shit? listen to this!' LOL

And their convos can range from silly things to much deeper as we've seen over the years. They're an exceptional support system for each other within BTS, they help each other and cover each other's back in ways no one else really can mostly due to the age hierarchy, like it cannot be understated how important it is that they are 'same-aged' friends and don't need to put any emphasis on being a hyung or a maknae to the other, making it even more freeing for the both of them.

But yeah, I feel like I write out a lot of this every time Namseok gets brought up with me LOL but all of this is just why they have become pretty much my favorite duo within BTS. I would not have a blog dedicated to them if there wasn't a ton of stuff to love about them and their dynamic.

As for Jihope, I won't write as an intense of essay but for them it's really like a 'core' connection. As in, Hoseok and Jimin are extremely similar PEOPLE and therefore connect together pretty seamlessly. The core of their character is the same IMO, like how they value people is the same. How they connect to people is the same. They have a lot of the same emotional ability to connect to others and love others to a high degree. Which makes it super easy for them to love and connect to each other 'cause they 'get' each other, ya know? So even if there are the age barriers that exist in their culture it doesn't affect them too much 'cause Jimin doesn't just respect Hoseok as an older friend, or Hoseok caring about Jimin as a younger friend, that's just their character, they would be that way even if they were the same age, 'cause that's who they are as people.

Soooo yeah, that's why it's really easy I think to like dynamics with either of them honestly, to your point of like, seeing how all of Hoseok's connections are the best. I'd say that's the case with both but I have my biases for Jimin's duos too, but that's not to say that most of his dynamics aren't also good because he makes them good!

Memories 2021 Disc 4

So I asked again when I said I was going to watch memories in full if you would be interested in commentary from me as I did so. There were a lot of people who said yes, so here we are! I have officially watched BTS Memories of 2021. Here are my thoughts as I went. There were 7 DVDs in this one. Reminder that these aren't going to be smoothly written out thoughts. You get these like I'm live reacting, texting my bestie or live tweeting. Lol it'll be in like bullet point format sort of, just... a commentary post as I go. Lol Part 1 Here covers Discs 1 - 3. Disc 4

Butter Jacket Making Film:

I love that they all picked the 6 digits for the mug shot signs that meant something to them. Namjoons was his childhood home units. JKs was the date he moved to Seoul. Tae's meant that he was one of seven. Jin and JK giving Jimin cute heart eyes as Jin measures Jimins height (as he makes himself smaller) on the wall and calling him cute 😍 Jimin jokingly putting his hand in front of JKs face and Jungkook licking his hand 🤣 Jikook meeting eyes at the end so sweetly too.

Jikooks unit shoot was so cute! As was Jimin redirecting his hand from the automatic way it almost went to go pet the back of Jungkooks head instead of just simply putting his arm around him. Lol that muscle memory gets ya everytime! And the way they were fooling around and smiling so much 🥺 Tae looks like he is trying to seduce Yoongi in every photo! He needs to STOP MY HEART CANT TAKE IT! His eyesssss! Lol they were so cute all curled up on the floor though for their Taegi unit shoot! The tension nam2seok tried to keep for their unit shoot but they couldn't stop giggling and having fun during 🤣🤣 vmin bickering over their poses in the ot7 shoot while JK just held Jimin by the waist sneaking his hand underneath his crop top and gently caressing the skin under his shirt on his waist and smiling so much lol OKAY. Post over that here. Everyone giving end of shoot ending mentions and Jimin just continuing to slap at and low key feel up JKs chest. Man though. Everyone looked so good for this shoot! These outfits were top tier! And JK staring so sweetly at Jimin as he gave their ending "see you on day 2!" Ending comment. Lol the LOVE on this day, oh boy!

Day 2 had them at the car wash!! And Jhopes blond and pink hair 😍😍😍 IN LOVE. The editors will NEVER let the Yoongi cat agenda die "Lil meow meow doesn't like the water" and I live for it honestly! Namjoon saying he's never washed a car before because he can't drive 😅😂 Jimin accidentally breaking props at the set because he was goofing off too much 🤣🤣 everyone giving a video camera to record each other and the chaos and unruly dizzy footage we are given 🤣 like toddlers hadn't a camera honestly lmfao. Yoongi filming Hobi and Jimin and Himself. Hobi filming Jin while JK sticks his hand down a flexing Jimins shirt in the background because OF COURSE THEY ARE lol. And all the cute dancing! First Vhope, then Jihope, then taekook. Then all the giggles of the 7 of them playing in the hose. And my heart is so happy! I love seeing them have fun!

Day 3 has them at the beach! And it's fun but it's freezing! Lol Hobi dancing and singing about sandcastles as a staff member tries desperately to keep up with him and keep him covered up and warm in a jacket 🤣 Jimin acting so baby trying to pretend he isn't freezing his ass off 😍😂 Tae (and Yoongi too) in headbands will always be my FAVORITE concept. Give it to me more please. JK ignoring every staff member calling for him as he was engrossed in filming himself write ARMY in the sand like the absolute cutie he is. Lol lol their group shots have them all looking one way together and Jimin being cheeky and looking the opposite direction to grin at Yoongi instead 😂🤣 cuties! And adding on here my post about more jikookery in the jacket making film.

Butter MV Making Film:

Everyone is watching back some of their shooting and Jikook just complimenting Tae on his flirty demeanor lol. "Not everyone can do that!" The praise! I love seeing it. Lol Tae accidentally kicking Jimin during their duo part of the dance and Jimin saying that since Tae noticed and said sorry, it was all okay. If he hadn't noticed he would've had to be dramatic about it. Lmfaoo all the other members being completely unable to leave Jin alone or stop giving him weird compliments while he was trying to shoot his solo scene. Lol their loving hyung!

The absolute CHAOS of the members during Sugas rap verse. Lmfao pure insanity. The way Hobi was like "what is happening?" And Jimin who was in the process of being lifted and tossed around was like "I literally do not know" 🤣🤣🤣 their giggles though too! So cute. And then Jimin just SHOUTING like mad imitated Tae's sneeze. They can't leave each other alone for a second 😅😂 and the random little chin tap cut we got from jikook. So much fun

Day 2 starts with JK just staring at Jimin as he dances his little heart out lol. I'm glad they always can have fun on set! Jin saying they had to do sexy poses for the opening but that he isn't sexy so he hopes it turns out well. Man, I know you own mirrors!! Everyone packed into the elevator and Yoongi ticking Jimins chin 😭 the captions saying the Miniz find each other adorable! *crying*

3J all Watching Jins freestyle dance with the biggest hype smiles and filming him too. They LOVE Jin! Hopekook both staying to watch Jimin dance too, and Jihope cheered on JK. Hobi saying he stayed to watch and cheer for all the members through their dance 😭🥺 lmfao Tae doing quick arm exercises to show off his muscles in his sleeveless shirt and Sope both keep petting his arms and complimenting his big muscles now 😏🤣 Jin pulling a finger heart out of JKs vest pocket was adorable too. And jinkook always pretending to fight each other non stop! It's how they open up day 3 too!

Legit just having a dance party on the stage set they had and having such a good time. Lol Tae literally dancing up to and for everyone and being so cute. It's absolutely giving "I will marry bts members" vibes. JinMin bickering and playing during the breaks and giggling so much. Jin refusing to leave Jimin alone and let him sit down. Lmfao and of course you know JK has to join in on all the teasing too. My JinJiKook. And all the bickering and fighting for camera time during ending mentions is as always, the most adorable. Butter Practice Making Film:

I love that Yoongi got there first and started lowkey warming up on his own but how happy he got when Jin showed up, immediately going over to hang out together 🥺 it's also fascinating to watch Kookie show up to practice half asleep, literally FALLING ASLEEP sitting up to getting more and more chaotic as practice goes on. Until he is full on going crazy, sliding around floors on his back and full chaos potential is unlocked 🤣

Vmin are so precious. Working together for their duo dance part in the middle. Jimin said it was hard to see where his spot was that he was spinning into since he was going into it backwards, so Tae said he would hold out his hand so that Jimin could just see easier where he had to go, aka, spin into Taes arms 🥺😂 cuties! Dance leader Hoseok is ALWAYS a pleasure to watch work too!! Seriously though, the break is when chaos reigned. JK had vmin on his shoulders, boxing with Jin, helping (?) Namjoon with his push-ups and just in general acting silly to make his hyungs laugh. Lol he is amazing.

The next jump to dance practices for Butter is after they've all gotten their new hair done for the MV too! Purple hair Koo Supreme 😍 everyone warming up and Jimin helping Tae with his footwork! The encouragement given!! I really truly do love watching Dance Leader Hoseok and Main Dancer Jimin take their craft seriously and be so helpful to the whole group too. And always giving their advice with lots of praise too. It's awesome. Taekook making faces at each other in the back of formation and then in the front at the mirror to make everyone laugh 😂 Jimin teasing JK watching their practice moves back over too 🤣 they work SO HARD but always have so much fun too! And another day of practice starting off just with jikook having fun together playing a game of tag/catch. Their smiles! More Jikookery too.

The Late Late Show with Stephan Colbert Making Film:

Their first promotional activity they've filmed for Butter, which was filmed the stage for even before the song released! Opening with 2seok and Vmin reviewing their choreos together! All the little mistakes made during their first run through in the new place and the shy smiles and giggles coming from those who messed up 🤣 Yoonmin reminiscing over their last time on the show where they did their BWL stage. Vmin having an impromptu chair workout during one break. Jinkook having an impromptu boxing match during another. Besties always having fun! Jimin talking to the cameras, talking about their set and when asked about his hair, sharing it was his idea. JK hovering around the whole time waiting for a good time to jump in and get to tease his hyung. Lol which results in playful smacks and chasing. 😂😂 Staff: "that was an eye catching opening you filmed" Jin: "I was just walking so if that was eye catching, the only explanation is that my face is eye catching" YES JIN know your worth!! Lol Tae watching Jin talking to the camera from the side and whispering into his in ears with his mic and telling him instructions of what to say 🤣🤣 their smiles while having fun together are so cute! The editors throwing Namjoon under the bus for the last filming scene! Lol "we could be done after this one take. Except spot what's wrong in this frame.... namjoon going the wrong direction" 😅🤣🤣 Jin turning to scold Joon right after the director yells cut too 🤣🤣🤣 they were all a little tired and ready to be done! Lol perfect second take though! The members laughter as the whole set has to be reset up, including all the confetti they had fired off 😅😂

Hobi being so excited to perform the tropical remix of Dynamite! The editors calling Yoongi a cat for the millionth time. 3J being silly together in the way background. Jimin climbing the tower after Yoongi to hang off it with him and the editors calling Jimin a cat too. Jikopo smiling at each other as soon as they finish singing Dynamite. Some of my favorite things 😍 Jimin telling Hobi to aim for JKs head with the beach ball while they were singing and Hobi actually doing it 🤣 JinMin starting a game of foot volleyball, with the 94z joining right in too and JK just watching the 4 play with the cutest smile.

I'll never get over Taes ponytail for this performance either honestly! Lol I love it. Vmin trying to decide what to do for their pair choreo and pulling Hobi in to help them decide. Their dance leader! They ended up deciding to do a high five and exchange glances as they walked. Which did look so sweet. Ending mentions at the end of filming were cute. They were all TIRED. Lol Tae leaning all his weight on Jin. Lol and Jikook couldn't have been standing closer together if they tried. 😂 AND THEN WE ALSO GET TANNIES WITH A PUPPY CONTENT! Which was clearly incredibly distracting for the members during shooting lmfao

Sirius XM Making Film:

Everyone finding their spots and warming up for the Dynamite performance. JK just sitting there over and over trying to do the bottle flip game. Jimin joining him, getting it in 2 goes and proudly trying to show it off to Jungkook. And then JK warming up with a shout, Jimin = copy/paste. Lol they have tons of fun together always. Staff setting everything up... members goofing off with a playing with the set. Lol Jihope tossing a ball back and forth. JK playing darts and decorating his mic with darts while the poor makeup noona tries to do his makeup around all that 🤣 Jikook randomly holding hands and on/off doing a "grip contest." And their break time turning into a heated Rubix cube solving technique debate. Lol tannies doing a dance party to Butter at the end of the transitions and JK dancing with minimoni! Arms around Joons shoulders and Jimins waist 😍 and Tae riding a bike across the set 🤣 JinMin doing a perfectly in sync ending pose together too!

For the butter set, Jikook keep joking about the set being the inside of Hobis stomach since he ate the butter in the MV. He humors all their BS so nicely 🤣🤣 I always love how much they compliment each other and are so humble about it. Tae telling Jin how good he is at the "know that I got some heat" part and Jin going "its because Jhope taught it to me." 🥺🥺 and during JKs dance Hobi shouting "OH JK! What's with those hips!!" And JK just being so proud and Saying "I really worked hard for that" lol Poor Jimin had his mic break and didn't have any extras so he was trying on everyone else's extra mics before asking for Hobis because Hobi "also has a small head." Lol and Tae taking great "offense" at Jimin saying his head was big. 🤣 basically just saying "we (pointing to JK) have normal human sizes and you just have an extra small head" 🤣🤣 Jimin going "I'm getting to learn more about the members heads today."

Butter (ft. Meg Thee Stallion) Special Performance Video Making Film:

Jhope saying that Megan did such a great job as a featuring artist that it really inspired him 🥺 I really love their friendship yall. And the fact that it inspired him enough to pull 3J back together for this is AMAZING. I love that he did this! Jimin warming up by playing basketball as soon as he arrives is so wholesome too. When Hobi said they installed the hoop for Yoonmin, he REALLY wasn't kidding!! JK calling Nick, the choreographer, over for help with the dance as SOON as he arrived was really cute. They work so HARD. Whatever you do, don't make a drinking game out of hearing them say "last time" lol you won't survive it!

The comfort they give each other is so sweet. Hobi cheering for them and giving encouragement. Tips shared for a better performance so easily between the 3 of them. Jimin leaning on JK during a break where they watched their performance and massaging his neck and shoulders for him so comfortably. Jungkook also comforting Jimin with some really sweet back rubs too. "Just have fun. Our fans will like it." It's honestly our favorite thing to see! Back for another day of filming because they are PERCECTIONISTS lol. And they take the cutest 3J photos we all still treasure before starting. Watching both big shipper sides sit stonefaced cause of Vmin is cracking me up. Jikookers won't even acknowledge it, cause of how much JK has begged Jimin for time & to hang out only to be turned down publicly over and over or hit with excuses or and I'm not that easy, for Jimin to immediately tell Tae to call him when Tae asked Jimin to play with him (? okay) after they just spent the whole day together and night drinking, followed up with texting before bed and Tae ended that live quick too and got on the phone with Jimin right away and Jimin let us know. Meanwhile and this is gonna sound controversial, but Tae's fanmeet with Jimin, I haven't seen Tae this happy, bubbly & giddy with anyone, since he left for Paris to go be with Jennie before their hand holding, yes we together, walk of love. I haven't seen it with JK, nor have I seen it with Wooga. Funny its been with Jimin and Jennie. Very inchresting.

You know HWSNBN and Tae are really not close anymore and maybe one of the reason is respect. If people don't respect boundaries set up by you no matter how good friend you were just not be too close anymore. Tae had a time where he used to call army his girlfriend and wife, others did too but it's been so long he has been adamant in setting boundaries with y/n. I really didn't like when HWSNBN today greeting an army as sister-in-law coz she claimed herself to be Tae's wife. I don't expect him to scold but he could have definitely ignored.

I think we over thinking the dynamics of the members relationships with each other.

I have two really close friends, who I've known since I was a Teenager. I speak and meet regularly and have catch ups when we're both free. They other I'v not seen or spoken to in over 2 months, but I know that if I text them now to arrange a catch up or rang them to chat, they'd drop everything. The later friendship is probably how I see VMin. They are close, but they don't need to be constantly chatty or in comms with each other.

Friendships like relationships are complex and varied.

Do u think jikook are still real despite not contacting and hanging out with each other all solo era? They said if it weren’t for the show, they wouldn’t have met. It would be understandable if they live countries away, but they live in the same city. They haven’t even taken the initiative to call or text each other despite one of them not being busy.
