thinking abt vylad ro'meave. the youngest child. illigitimate son, result of an affair, dead to the world in life and after. he isn't even named by his brothers when they speak of him, only called "youngest brother". living and dying in the shadows, silent and separate. separate from his family, who have no idea of his fate, and separate from his fellow undead shadow knights, moving in quiet rebellion. his whole life has been quiet rebellion, the odd piece of a puzzle he was not made to fit into. he is the first person we meet in the story, but he remains a mystery longer than anybody else.

Howdy! And Welcome to Vylenix Week 2024!

What is this? Well, Vylenix Week is a week dedicated to creating fanworks (based off of a prompt for each day of the event) for the Aphverse Ship between Vylad Ro'Meave and Zenix.

When creating fanworks, you can use any form of medium you'd like: fanfiction, fanart, web weaving, playlists, animatics/animations, mood/stimboards, poetry and more! And even heck, as long as it follows the prompt/s, meta & analysis posts are allowed!

Pieces created for this week will be Queued Up! The queue is set to release between 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

laurance - found a loving husband & adopted three kids

dante - became a bigshot let's player then got cancelled. whereabouts unknown

nicole - in jail for murder

reese - picked up by the shoulders by an unnaturally large bird & was carried into the sky. whereabouts unknown

brendan - dead

vylad - got married & is currently living in france

gene - lives with his current sugar mama

jenna - left love~love paradise due to shitty working conditions & found a job elsewhere

damien - went on a mountain climbing trip with his friends but got separated. whereabouts unknown

zenix - started a youtube channel where he just records himself destroying things. oddly successful

What is your laundry list of MCD changes?

You brought some good points for your laundry list that made me consider some good points for my laundry list

THING I WILL DEFINITELY CHANGE

- Garmau is cannon till the day I die!

- Zoey is an albino Elf that wore a concealment stone to hide her elvan traits from other, but stop wearing knowing she can trust Aphmau

- Everything you pointed out for the Malachi Arc was exactly what I was planning

- The Divine warriors are ancestors to who becomes the new Divine warriors

- The racism that was in MCD is gone (no racism, homophobia and sexism in my books)

- More people of colour charaters

- Donna and Aphmau are my plus size strong women (Aphmau flinging Logan over her shoulder or carrying on his back was quite impressive)

- Kawaii Chan has got to change in a lot of sense

- Dante and Aphmau knew each other before Aphmau stumbled upon Phoenix drop

- I looked at the aphmau wiki and saw that Levin was 5 years old so the years that aphmau has spent in Phoenix Drop is about 5 years

- You know Garroth breaking doors down thing, yeah that, I want that, it would be so funny for Laurance and Dante to try and break a door down and Garroth comes in and punches it off the hinges

- Garroth knows how to play the guitar and played it for Laurance when he was blind because he loves music

- The magic system needs to be fixed

- The part where Malachi finally gets to leave his castle after 900 years will be an incredibly impactful (the kids finally out of a place after 900 years, WHERE ARE THE FUCKING TEARS!)

Shadow knights have different teeth depending on their diet (ex: Vylad has much blunter and more solid teeth bc he’s a frugivore, while Gene has sharp teeth and prominent fangs because he’s a sanguinivore.)

Had to Google was a sanguinivore was and yes yes blood drinker gene. I find it kind cool how a lot of the fandom drifts to the shadow knights be a lot like vampires
