Hello! One questions about ‘Waiting Game’

1. How will you go about Freya’s storyline and her trauma?

2. Awesome book can’t wait to see Kol and Finn’s relationship development 😁

Hello 😁

Firstly, Waiting Game focuses around Finn and although we will be getting a few snapshots of Freya’s life before they reunite, it will be a while before we can really get into Freya’s trauma surrounding Dahlia. Also, her trauma triggers some explosive anger so Freya is going to need to feel safe enough let go of some of that anger before she can open up about it, and begin to address it. The Mikaelsons are great at getting trauma, and they’re great at shoving it in your face during an argument, but they all need to chill out a bit before they can start healing from it. Freya’s well-being is important to Finn, and he’s had some practice at being a therapist by the time they reconnect, so maybe it will go well? We can only hope.

I’m also quite excited to write Kol and Finn’s dynamic because it definitely starts with Kol doing the typical “my big brother is so cool, I hope he thinks I’m cool” and Finn freaking out about the baby, before it morphs into “who is this goblin dude and wtf is he doing” on both sides. As adults Finn and Kol each think the other one is the weirdest person ever, and I love it.
