I'm sure if we really tried we could come up with a video game walkthrough format that's even less convenient than unannotated nine-hour YouTube videos of someone playing the game badly. A handwritten manuscript of mad ravings, perhaps, or possibly a live audio broadcast of a machine-generated voice very slowly reciting puzzle solutions in Russian.

good morning/afternoon/evening dear Developer of Wayfarer. Is it just me or is Wayfarer still in episode three in Mahanin Palace? Do I need to restart and replay it?
Do you have guidelines(?) of to do and what not to do for RO especially Aeran. I love him馃様馃檹馃徎
Episode 3 is not set in Mahanin Palace. You will ideally not have to restart the whole game in order to proceed to Episode 3 when it comes out, but it may depend on how old your save file is. I do my best to make transitions as soon as possible, but sometimes changes to background code will result in continuity errors. Always read the patch notes when a new episode is released or when a patch is added, it will tell you what you need to do to ensure a smooth transition.
Episode 3 is currently in alpha; it is only available to play via my Patreon. The public build ends with Episode 2.
There is no official guide for romancing Mr. Kellis. Wayfarer is designed to be reactive to your actions and choices, and is intended to be played without pre-planned results. However, if you want to unlock certain content available in Episodes 1 and 2:
you must flag Aeran's romance when he's introduced in Episode 1, otherwise you will be locked out of all romance content with him. You do this by selecting option #4. You are friends and you are partners. You can鈥檛 imagine this life without him at your side.
to access his romance reconciliation scene in Episode 2 (where your MC can sleep with him if you select the allosexual options), you must have +60 romance and approval. The only way to get romance that high is to get knocked out in Episode 1 and almost die. This requires you to fail your stat checks during the fight with the Crimson Count, or end up in the town square fire.
you also cannot go to Melchior's party or visit Veyer at the end of Episode 2, you must go immediately back to your apartment as soon as it becomes an option
if you do not want to be severely injured in Episode 1, there is content specifically for those who have under 60 romance in Episode 3 that will only trigger if you retain a generally good relationship with him and if forgive him for his behaviour in Episode 2.

Part two of the YouTube channels I follow archive. We're still stuck on the Let's Plays for now, but I do think you should all take solace in one thing: I didn't remember to keep following half the channels, so most of them aren't in my subscription list anymore. The ones I do remember, though... we're gonna be talking all about some of them.
First off, let's cut to chuggaconroy. One of a few let's play channels I still follow (and one that I haven't revisited since way back around 2017-ish), his videos were a big part of childhood. I'm saying these cliched lines over and over and over again, but that's because i've rapidly run out of things to say about them all. His videos on Kirby and Zelda and Pokemon and Mario and all these Nintendo properties really helped them stick in my mind, though. I remember Kirby's Epic Yarn thanks to this channel. So that's a special thing I can say about my experiences, I suppose.
Now, the only other let's play channel I still follow is MasaeAnela. As far as I can tell, I lost track of them around 2016. But i saw a good amount of their stuff prior to that. I saw their Kirby stuff, their Katamari let's plays (those games were weird, but I still remember them to a point), I remember most of their stuff. I saw a lot of Nintendo playthroughs growing up, I now realize. Nintendo and/or Visual Novels/RPGs. There were exceptions to these rules, but it seems like they really were rules (especially considering the first two people i mentioned here mostly did nintendo playthroughs).
But I feel like we have room for me to drop in a third video game channel. One I no longer follow, but whose name somehow came back to me while I was working on all this. Lucahjin. I remember watching their Ace Attorney playthroughs, and their one WarioWare playthrough. I think I saw some of their other stuff too, but those are the only two playthroughs i remember really well. In any case, their humour style was a bit more silly and (possibly) dirty than the other two people I listed here. But they're still one of the few video game channels i can clearly remember, so they get themselves added to my long list of let's play channels.
So here we are. Three channels got themselves shared this time. I'm beginning to forget most of the channels I had dealings with, now. My memory is getting fuzzier and fuzzier as we do this. So if you're not bored out of your mind's eye yet, feel free to come back and join me for part three. In part three, i'll probably cover all the remaining video game channels whose names i still remember (and trust me, there aren't too many of those left). So we're almost done.

I remember at the beginning of the comic Rose had stated that she was trying to find a walk-through of Sburb and the one's she found had all ended abruptly resulting her in making her own along the way while she was playing the game. Makes me wonder how the people who made the incomplete walk-throughs are doing? I mean if I'm remembering that statement correctly at least i could be wrong and it was only the beta kids who made it out alive from the earth getting destroyed. But if the case is others made it out from the destruction of earth in their own session with their players i wonder if they beat the game or something?
Tumblr media
According to book 1's commentary on page 165 jokingly assumes that their game session failed miserably. And the ones listed as seen here, Hussie says they also wrote walkthroughs for the same Problem Sleuth. It really is the fact that only the Beta Kids made it out alive and nobody else. But that doesn't stop fanventures and fanfics to tell other sides of the story of people who also play this game. Not everything has to end in Doomed Timeline for them. Write out their game session and how they succeeded. It will probably end up better than what we saw in the Beta and Alpha Kids' session.

There's a cave with a treasure chest in Bahari Bay.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Behind that door there's a tunnel leading to a cave. I lost the image with the picture of the chest itself but there's gold ore and some coins in it, if I remember correctly.

Hi there! I read on your page that there are two intimacy scenes with Aeran, how are they different and how do you trigger both?
Hello!
Both versions are in the same reconciliation scene at the end of Episode 2 (see this guide here). The main thing is that you need to have +60 romance points with Aeran which requires 1) flagging his romance when he's introduced and 2) getting knocked unconscious in Episode 1 so his romance points spike because he's an idiot who doesn't realize he's in the love with the MC until they almost die.
The difference between the two intimacy scenes comes down to who takes the lead. This is up to the player and how they are roleplaying the MC. You can also decide whether this is your MC's first time being intimate with anyone or not. Intimacy scenes have a steamy lead-up, but do not depict actual sex (there's a fade to black).
There is also an asexual version which includes kissing and cuddling, but no sex. There's no flag for your MC being acespec, so if your character is demisexual or grey asexual or has other complex feelings about physical intimacy, you will always have a choice about whether you want your character to be physically intimate or not. You're not locked into one or the other.

This is gonna be an awkward post. I kind of hope to bury it, even though I also want to put it inside of a masterlist. I signed in to YouTube on my phone, so now it's time to have me super awkwardly explain all the YouTube channels I've watched over the years. Part One here is the worst part. We gotta talk playthroughs and let's plays. Let's get this awkwardness out of the way. Also: I'm not doing this for myself. I'm not doing this to find people. I'm doing this to archive my life. Nothing more, nothing less.
First off, we should go back to the beginning. Let's talk about my first introduction to the world of Let's Plays (and then let's pray I remember all this correctly). If I do somehow remember it right, my first video game playthrough centric YouTube channel was LuckySevenDX. I don't know how I found him, but his videos back in the early 2010s enraptured kid me. Due to him, I learned of Kirby, Zelda, and a whole host of other things too. If you saw my DS games collection list from earlier today, now you might be interested to learn that his videos introduced me to half those games on there.
At some point, though, either he stopped making videos or i stopped watching his videos. Possibly both. Either way, that shows you how my introduction to Let's Plays went. We covered our first and most basic marker. The next steps shan't be as easy. Especially not the next one. But it's already been written up, so here:
Now let's talk about the channel I watched most prior to losing my old tablet in 2022 or so. NicoB. A man whose surrealist, silly and downright vulgar comedy often feels awkward to discuss with other people. He played a lot of horror games. I got messed up by a few of them, but I mostly learned to ignore them. Either way, his playthroughs of Persona 4 and Persona 5 helped make those hyperfixations of mine. He also played Kingdom Hearts, and he made me love Kingdom Hearts (I might have liked them prior, but his playthroughs do stand out).
He played Ace Attorney and Danganronpa and the Stanley Parable and a lot of those other virtual novel style things, thereby throwing them into my interest sphere (some of them were a bit too dark for me, so i don't think about them much nowadays). And I will admit: I probably just watched his stuff because I admired the fact that he would go online and play games while reading the dialogue outloud. I do that in my real life when I read, and having someone do it as well was probably immersive for me. When last I was watching him, I was trying to catch up to his present day history by watching his Xenoblade Chronicles playthrough. I never managed to finish it. Every playthrough of that game I start never gets finished (usually due to tiredness or bad luck on my part).
So...yeah. We got the first let's play channel I watched and the most awkward one to share out of the way, and so now I can wrap this up. This was incredibly long and incredibly awkward. Expect me to come back later with more Let's Play channels to share.
