🛌 sleep headcannon (Gold Rush AU Wandanat)

The nightly routine begins with Wanda dragging you from the bed back in the washroom to do skincare routine with her and oral hygiene when she learned that your skin is getting dry.

On the days when you weren't getting dragged, you would find the older woman in the washroom doing her skincare and you standing by the door whining for her to come to bed already, claiming how Natasha would crush you with her cuddles and you needed Wanda. The woman would laugh and try to stall you as much as she could to get done with her skincare.

Eventually, she would convince you to join her and that would become your two's bonding time with Wanda taking care of you. Soon enough you would be becoming a little skin expert, going around Natasha's tab buying skincare stuff for not only yourself but for Natasha too who would not be too pleased but would let you have your way.

After your own skincare, you would run to the bed where Natasha would either be sleeping or reading a book, you would spend the next fifteen minutes on her face. Nat wouldn't admit it but she secretly enjoys you fretting over her skin.

Once finally settled in bed, you being the heavy sleeper you were, you would be sprawled across Wanda and Natasha, throughout the night you would be alternating between being a koala on Natasha and getting almost on top of Wanda.

Whenever you would get be twisting and turning to get comfortable, either of the two woman would pull you closer, running their hands through your hair and soon enough like the clock works, you would be humming in content, falling deep into your slumber.

Wanda and Natasha always enjoyed how content you would look in your sleep, snuggling closer and even refusing to let go off them in the morning when they will make a move to get up. Part of you wanting them to be near you but a bigger part of you just wanted them back in bed because knowing if they get up, they will be making you get up soon as well. Despite not liking the waking up early part, you would admit that having breakfast with the two was the highlight of your day. Especially when the two women would be too busy throughout the day with their work. It was the best quality time you could ask for.

Stupid question but how do you see Natasha? In the wandanat fandom, I think she's too much butchified, in her other saphhic ships like blackhill & peggynat, she's too femmefied. Personally, I see her as something else, more masc for sure. This forced dichotomy ultimatum really messes up fans characterisation of her, it isn't about what stereotypes they rely on or what vibes they get from her, they really mess up her personality traits, her psyche. In a lot of instances, they make her ooc,especially the ones that femmefy her, they princessify and babygirlify her too much, it really infuriates me, I also want to throw hands at those Blackhill & peggynat shippers especially the later ones bc I feel like their whole ship is based on this dynamic: femmefied Nat, the funny thing is the f/m version of this ship: romangers don't even femmefy this much. That woman is the love of my life, I want people to pay her due respect.

I actually really respect your immense love for her ngl. And to answer your question, I see Nat as... Idk how to describe it. But she's basically comfortable in anything really.

but mainly i think natasha wouldnt have settled with anyone, maybe a few hookups but never a relationship. natasha would be too work focused, and always feared asking for help from her partner so arguments would often occur due to her bad communication

i believe that after she was used by the red room she felt no attraction to anybody really, due to massive trust issues and the feeling that people are using her for sex, and could never truly love her.

aswell as this, she would be afraid to be vulnerable infront of someone, incase of them hurting her or even one of her enemies hurting her partner

natashas death suited her character, however it was the only time i wanted her to loose a fight 🤍

I would say they are.. more possessive and attempt to show emotion more? I wouldn’t say it going..well but that’s cause they suck at it. The interactions are different for sure but not…out of character.

wandanat + Yelena on the run headcannons

During Black Widow, Yelena asks if Natasha has a partner, Natasha pauses before saying yes, she has a witch girlfriend. Yelena laughs it off thinking Natasha joking. Natasha reassures her that her girlfriend is very much real. Yelena says she’ll believe it when she sees it.

Natasha and Yelena stay in contact after taking down the red room together and message each other daily to make sure the other is okay. So when Natasha stops messaging Yelena immediately assumes something wrong. They hadn’t exchanged locations for safety reasons, so Yelena had to do her spy stuff and tracked Natasha to Wakanda.

Of course Yelena ended up being escorted into Wakanda after she was caught sneaking in.

She was brought to Natasha, who was sitting worriedly in a chair next to a hospital cot. Natasha was holding the hand of a sleeping brunette with bandages all over, a cast on her leg and and her arm in a swing. Natasha jumped when Yelena pulled the curtain back, so she knew something was wrong, her sister was never scared.

They sat in the hospital room for a while as Natasha explained why she stopped messaging. A week ago she and the remainder of her free Avenger family went to rescue the part of her Avenger family that had been taken by the Raft. Among the Avengers on the raft had been Wanda, the girlfriend Natasha had mentioned, had been heavily injured and hasn’t woken up yet. Natasha hadn’t left Wanda’s side since she got her back and hadn’t been in a place to keep up with messages.

Yelena understands and asks if they could stay with Natasha and the Avengers. And after some questions and ask arounds, she gets permission. Yelena finds it boring in Wakanda, no one to fight, but she makes sure her sisters gets food, annoying the other Avengers, and listening to Shuri talk of tech.

When Wanda wakes up, Natasha sends Yelena a message and she rushes over to meet her sisters girlfriend. Although Wanda is drowsy and slightly drugged on pain killers, they manage a conversation. Does Wanda understand this is her girlfriend sister? Nope. Does she like Yelena? Yep.

As Wanda gets better, Yelena offers to help with anything she can, Natasha is very grateful.

Wanda isn’t herself, she’s distant and dazed and sometimes doesn’t know what’s going on, she’s also having trouble speaking. This scares and worries Natasha but she does her best to be patient. Yelena is the one who wonders if they talk to Wanda in Romanian or Sokovian, if it will be easier for Wanda to understand. And it works. Natasha is actually able to have sufficient conversations with Wanda. It’s not much of one but she feels like they are getting closer.

Wanda’s wounds fully heal, and by than the Avengers have to go on the run. Because of Wanda’s mental state, Natasha decides that it would be best if they weren’t constant moving. They find a safe house on the edge of a town in Romania.

There cover story is Natasha and Wanda are married and names are Laura and Rose. Yelena is there daughter, Peggy, who is taking break from college.

They get a little garden there and Natasha makes sure Wanda feels safe. Yelena enjoys just being with her sister and as Wanda gets better mentally she starts mothering Yelena. Yelena jokingly calls her mama Wanda, and it sticks.

They enjoy two years mostly cut off from the world.

Anyway they are happy.
