This pokemon seems to float as if a weight has been lifted from its shoulders. Feathers sprout from its tail and fur, keeping it light on its feet as it enjoys open air and newfound freedom.

For the warriordex, I was wondering why you didn't have Leopardstar as a legendary/pseudo legendary? I noticed most of the other leaders were save for Nightstar, and I was just curious! :0

Tbh the spreadsheet I posted was still kind of the rough draft so I didn’t fully flesh out all the ideas I had yet. The thought process behind it was that you see her as a warrior before becoming a leader, so she would be a little less mysterious and “legendary” than Bluestar for example. But I used that same logic for Tigerclaw so I’ll probably make them both pseudo legendaries.

For the Warriordex project, maybe Longtail could have two forms? One for his young warrior, TPB-ish era, one as him blind and an elder? First form could be the Misguided Pokémon, since he was a big Tiger follower

Yes love that idea, i might make it into an evolution or something, maybe just naming it Elder Longtail? The two forms works well with a lot of cats but is hard to implement since most cats’ names don’t really change. Definitely will include this though

maybe for your warriors Pokemon au, types are inherited? Like obviously Firestar is fire but when having Squirrelflight and Leafpool they get the fire typing too as well as their extra one. Like Squirrelflight might be Fire/Fairy and Leafpool might be Fire/Grass. So since Tigerstar is Dark Hawkfrost would be Dark/Ice and Mothwing Dark/Bug?

Yess i definitely plan on making the typing slightly inheritable, though i’m prioritizing personality to determine typing for the sake of balance and to just fit the characters better. So Squirrel will be Fire/Electric, which are inherited from Firestar and Sandstorm respectively but also i feel fit her sparky personality pretty well. I’m thinking Leafpool will get a Ground typing from Sandstorm since she is a more “grounded” character and it also serves to balance out Squirrel’s electric and solidifying them as a pair. Haven’t decided her second typing yet but I’m thinking either grass or water. For Mothwing and Hawkfrost since they are more distanced from Tiger’s influence and are unaware of their relation to him (at least until later), i plan on omitting the dark typing for them. Hawkfrost will get a dark forest form that’s Dark/Ice though as he officially joins his father. Bramble and Tawny will both be dark since they are both overshadowed by Tigerstar’s reputation from birth pretty much.

wow! Love you're Pokemon warrior cat au! I also have one of these of my own but Firestar is Normal/Fire because of his kittypet heritage and pure normal when he was a kittypet

thank you! mine’s definitely not the first time someone’s made one and i love seeing all the ways people interpret the characters in the context of typing and stuff. i considered making his kittypet form normal but didn’t want him to go through having 3 different types. i like how it works with the idea of just a regular guy getting pulled into a magical cat battle-worshipping cult. i’m opting for fairy since i think it fits his personality well and is 4x super effective against Tigerstar’s Dark/Dragon combo.

Can you make Barley into a Pokémon?

Right now I’m vaguely following the order in which they appear in the books, so Barley will be after a few more designs. I will get to him though!

Really excited to see someone doing this! I think I was inspired a year ago by someone else’s stuff to make something similar and I planned out a logistics system but never got started - love all of your designs!
