Why 'Hoe Culture' is a Detriment to Our Society, Particularly the Black Community.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hey Besties,
Welcome to The Black Feminine Society! We pride ourselves on creating a safe space for Black Women to heal, grow, and embrace their femininity. Our mission goes beyond just creating a supportive environment. We believe it is our duty to have open and honest discussions about the challenges that can be detrimental to our culture, while also shining a light on the right paths for Black women to take.
At The Black Feminine Society, we are committed to holding ourselves and each other accountable. Our goal is not to tear down another Black woman, but rather to empower and uplift one another. We firmly believe that by addressing the issues within our community, we can drive positive change for the greater good.
So let's talk about it…
As 'Hoe Culture' is gaining increasing momentum, particularly within the Black community. It is a matter of grave concern that such a culture is being propagated, especially considering its adverse impacts on the perception of Black women and young girls.
The music industry, a formidable influencer of society, plays a significant role in this degradation. Many lyrics and music videos often depict women as objects of desire, thereby demeaning their worth. This portrayal of Black women is not only disrespectful but also aids in perpetuating stereotypes that have haunted the community for centuries.
The lack of genuinely empowering role models for young girls is distressing. Our society seems to drown out voices that advocate for respect and dignity, while those who succumb to the pressures of being overly sexualized for relevance are amplified. It is heartbreaking to witness the precious innocence of young minds being corrupted by such destructive ideologies.
The propagation of 'Hoe Culture' also distorts the perception of what healthy relationships should look like. It fuels lust over love, leading to superficial connections devoid of real affection or respect. This is not what relationships should represent. Relationships should be about mutual respect, understanding, and love, not superficial attractions.
Also, the media tends to glamorize 'Hoe Culture', conveniently ignoring the trauma associated with it. It is not all fun and games, as they would have us believe. The reality is much harsher, filled with emotional turmoil and personal distress.
This brings us to the concept of trauma bonding, a situation where individuals develop a strong emotional attachment to those who hurt them. It is a cycle of abuse and reconciliation that can lead to severe psychological effects, including low self-esteem and chronic mental health issues.
In the world of social media, especially on platforms like Instagram, young girls often feel pressured to participate in 'Hoe Culture', fearing that they might be ostracized otherwise. Behind the glamorous pictures and seemingly perfect lives of IG models lies a sad reality of mistreatment and deception. It is vital to remember that these are curated images, not reflecting the reality of their lives.
Before I conclude, I want to leave you with a motivating message:
To all the beautiful Black women out there, remember that you are so much more than what society tries to label you as. You are strong, beautiful, and worthy. Your body is your temple, a sacred sanctuary that deserves respect and honor. Protect your heart, keep it exclusive for those who genuinely deserve it. There is no rush to fit into societal norms; remember, it's okay to be selective. Your worth is not defined by the number of likes or followers, but by the strength of your character and the depth of your spirit. Be proud of who you are and never let anyone dim your light.

not to be rude/start a fight or anything but that one anon saying that people are trying to make being endo "more palatable" by including mixed origins systems felt... kinda invalidating?? like as someone whos part of a mixed origin system, we're not watering the term down by existing, this is just who we are. we're also very much endogenic even if we're traumagenic as well. of course we should be included in posts about endo systems because mixed origins systems are also (often) endogenic, its not "going halfsies" to include us?? idk it just felt like anon was being invalidating to mixed origins systems, although i understand their frustration with feeling like no one ever includes 100% nontraumagenic systems and i dont think the invalidation was intentional
Hiya! No, we totally get it. We don’t think that that anon had any sort of malicious intent or anything, but we do see how it could come across as hurtful to mixed origins systems >_<”
We do try to bring all sorts of systems together here and firmly believe that we are stronger as a community when we support and uplift each other! There’s no need to try and boost one type of system up by tearing down another. We don’t think positivity like that works or is useful!
Mixed origins systems who have endogenic as one of their origins are indeed endogenic and should be welcomed and supported in endogenic spaces! We see you and we understand your concerns. And we’ll share a mixed origins positivity post we made in the past in case it brings you a little joy :33

We all deserve to feel confident and empowered in our own skin, without being subjected to judgment, scrutiny or prejudice. As we navigate our way through a world that often tries to dictate how we should look, feel, and behave, let's make a conscious effort to be more aware of our language and the impact it has on others. Let's create a more inclusive and supportive environment for all women, where we can celebrate each other's unique qualities, interests, and perspectives. Let's choose our words carefully and use them to uplift and inspire each other, rather than tear each other down.”

"Embracing Change: Navigating the Winds of Transformation with Courage and Compassion"
Tumblr media
"Get ready to buckle up for a digital rollercoaster ride through the heart of the online jungle, where the battle for success is fierce, and the stakes couldn't be higher! Welcome, thrill-seekers and truth-seekers alike, to a no-holds-barred exploration of the wild world of internet growth and the shocking truths that lie beneath the surface. Strap in tight as we peel back the layers of this digital maze, uncovering the stories of triumph, tragedy, and everything in between. It's time to ignite your curiosity, fuel your passion, and dive headfirst into a whirlwind of insight, inspiration, and intrigue! Welcome to the ultimate journey towards online enlightenment – where the only limit is your imagination! It's a tale as old as the internet itself: the haves versus the have-nots, the successful versus the struggling. But what's truly enraging is when those who've made it to the top not only ignore the plight of the disadvantaged but actively hinder their progress".
Tumblr media
Picture this: a budding YouTuber with dreams as big as the screen they're broadcasting on. They've got talent, they've got drive, but what they don't have is a level playing field. Instead of receiving support and encouragement from their more established peers, they're met with disdain and derision. And why? Simply because they're not able-bodied or don't fit into society's narrow definition of success.
It's a sickening reality that's all too common in the online world. While some bask in the glow of their subscriber counts and sponsorship deals, others are left to fend for themselves, scraping by on the crumbs of an unequal system. And what's worse, those who could make a difference, who could use their platform for good, choose instead to turn a blind eye, too wrapped up in their own success to lend a helping hand.
Tumblr media
But enough is enough. It's time to call out this injustice for what it is: pure and simple discrimination. Whether you're a content creator, a consumer, or just someone who believes in fairness, it's time to take a stand against the bullies of the internet. After all, we're all in this together, and success should never come at the expense of others' well-being.
So, to all those who would rather tear others down than lift them up, I have a simple message for you: mind your own business. Focus on your own success and leave the rest of us to pursue our dreams in peace. And remember, you never know the battles others are fighting behind the scenes, so before you judge, take a long hard look in the mirror.
In the end, we all have a choice: to be part of the problem or part of the solution. I know which side I'm on, and I hope you'll join me in standing up for what's right. Because until we all have an equal chance to succeed, none of us can truly call ourselves winners.
Tumblr media
In the vast landscape of the internet, where clicks and views reign supreme, it's easy to get lost in the pursuit of success. But amidst the frenzy of likes and shares, it's crucial to remember the human beings behind the screens. Each click represents a person with their own struggles, dreams, and aspirations.
As we navigate this digital world, let's not lose sight of our humanity. Let's treat each other with kindness, empathy, and respect. Let's uplift those who are marginalized, amplify their voices, and create a more inclusive online community.
To those who wield their influence like a blunt instrument, using it to crush the dreams of others, I say this: your power comes with responsibility. Use it wisely. Use it to build bridges, not walls. Use it to inspire, not intimidate. And above all, use it to make the world a better place for all.
Tumblr media
So, let's band together, not in competition, but in collaboration. Let's celebrate each other's successes and support each other through the setbacks. Let's create a digital world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their circumstances.
Because at the end of the day, it's not about how many followers you have or how much money you make. It's about the impact you have on others, the connections you forge, and the positive change you bring to the world.
Prepare to delve into the depths of human selfishness and callousness, for we are about to confront a disturbing reality: the chilling indifference that pervades our society. It's a tale of those confined to the confines of their homes by fate, grappling with mental disabilities and other challenges, yet finding the courage to strive for something more. And yet, in the shadows lurks a breed of individuals whose sole concern is their own advancement, heedless of the dreams they trample in their wake.
Picture this: individuals confined to their homes; their aspirations stifled by circumstances beyond their control. They face daily battles against the demons of mental illness, physical disabilities, or other adversities. And yet, despite these monumental obstacles, they dare to defy fate, seeking solace and purpose in the pursuit of knowledge and skills that could pave the way to a brighter future.
Tumblr media
But alas, their hopes are dashed against the callous indifference of their fellow human beings. Instead of extending a hand of support or encouragement, they are met with scorn and disdain. Those who should be their allies in the fight for progress become their most formidable adversaries, crushing their dreams beneath the weight of their own selfish ambitions.
And what's worse, these same individuals who callously disregard the struggles of others are quick to offer hollow condolences and empty gestures of sympathy when tragedy strikes. They parade their faux empathy on social media, basking in the fleeting spotlight of virtuous indignation, yet oblivious to the hypocrisy of their actions.
But let me make one thing abundantly clear: this cannot continue. We cannot allow the voices of the vulnerable to be drowned out by the cacophony of self-interest and indifference. We must stand firm against the tide of apathy, championing the cause of empathy and compassion in a world that sorely needs it.
To those who would trample on the dreams of others in pursuit of their own gain, I have a simple message: your actions have consequences. The wounds you inflict may not be visible, but they run deep, leaving scars that may never fully heal. It's time to take a long, hard look in the mirror and ask yourself: what kind of legacy do you wish to leave behind?
In the end, we are all interconnected, bound together by the threads of our shared humanity. It is only by lifting each other up, rather than tearing each other down, that we can truly thrive as a society. So let us pledge to do better, to be better, and to never lose sight of the profound impact that our actions can have on the lives of others.
In the vast expanse of our digital age, where connections are made with a click and empathy seems to be in short supply, it's time to shine a light on the darkness that lurks within our hearts. We live in a world where it's all too easy to turn a blind eye to the struggles of others, where self-absorption and indifference have become the norm.
But amidst this sea of apathy, there are those who refuse to be silenced. Those who, despite facing unimaginable challenges, dare to dream, dare to hope, and dare to strive for a better tomorrow. They are the unsung heroes of our society, the ones who refuse to let adversity define them.
And yet, even as they reach for the stars, they are met with scorn and derision from those who should know better. Instead of offering a helping hand, they are greeted with cold indifference, their dreams dismissed as fanciful fantasies. It's a heartbreaking reality that speaks volumes about the state of our humanity.
But we cannot afford to despair. We cannot allow the darkness to extinguish the light of hope that burns within each and every one of us. We must stand together, united in our determination to build a world where compassion reigns supreme, where empathy is the currency of the realm.
To those who would seek to crush the dreams of others, I say this: your actions have consequences. You may think that your indifference goes unnoticed, but make no mistake – the scars you leave behind are all too real. It's time to take a long, hard look in the mirror and ask yourself what kind of legacy you wish to leave behind.
In the end, it's not about fame or fortune, but about the impact we have on the lives of others. It's about lifting each other up, rather than tearing each other down. It's about building a world where kindness is not just a virtue, but a way of life.
So let us stand firm in the face of adversity, let us be beacons of hope in a world shrouded in darkness. Together, we can make a difference. Together, we can change the world.
Listen up, folks! It's time to address the elephant in the room: change. Yeah, you heard me right. Times have changed, and we're not living in our grandparents' era anymore. We've evolved, we've adapted, and guess what? We're doing things differently now.
Tumblr media
Now, I get it. Change can be scary. It can be uncomfortable. But here's the thing: progress waits for no one. We can't keep clinging to the past, holding onto outdated ideals and expecting the world to stay the same. It just doesn't work like that.
Sure, our parents may have had it tough. They faced challenges we can't even imagine, and yeah, maybe they had to adjust to our era. But you know what? That's life. It's messy, it's unpredictable, and it's constantly in flux.
So why are we still holding onto the past like it's some kind of safety blanket? Why are we so quick to judge others for daring to forge their own path? It's time to wake up and smell the coffee, people. We're all just trying to survive in this crazy world, and we all deserve a chance to grow and thrive.
So, let's cut each other some slack, huh? Let's give people the space they need to spread their wings and fly. After all, who are we to stand in the way of someone else's journey? We're all in this together, whether we like it or not.
And hey, if you're still hung up on the past, I get it. But here's the thing: the future is waiting, and it's full of endless possibilities. So, let's embrace the unknown, let's embrace change, and let's embrace each other.
Because at the end of the day, we're all just trying to make it in this crazy world. So, let's do it together, with open hearts and open minds.
Alright, folks, it's time to wrap things up with a bang! We've dived deep into the heart of the matter, laid bare the truth, and let's face it, stirred up some emotions along the way. But before we part ways, there's one last thing I need to say.
Change isn't easy. It's messy, it's complicated, and yeah, it can be downright infuriating at times. But here's the thing: it's also necessary. Without change, we stagnate. We become stuck in the past, unable to move forward or grow.
So, let's embrace change with open arms, with a fierce determination to carve out a better future for ourselves and for generations to come. Let's channel that anger, that frustration, that passion into something positive. Let's be the catalysts for change that our world so desperately needs.
Tumblr media
And hey, if you're feeling overwhelmed, if you're feeling like the weight of the world is crushing down on you, just remember this: you're not alone. We're all in this together, navigating the turbulent waters of life as best we can.
So, let's lift each other up, support each other, and never lose sight of the incredible potential that lies within each and every one of us. Together, we can overcome any obstacle, conquer any challenge, and build a brighter, more hopeful future for all.
So, until next time, keep fighting the good fight, keep pushing forward, and never, ever give up. The world is counting on us.
As we wrap up our journey through the twists and turns of change, let's not forget the valuable lessons we've learned along the way. Change isn't just about shaking things up for the sake of it; it's about growth, progress, and evolution.
Throughout history, we've seen countless examples of individuals and societies embracing change and reaping the rewards. From the invention of the wheel to the advent of the internet, humanity has continually pushed the boundaries of what is possible, driving innovation and transformation in every aspect of life.
But change isn't always met with open arms. There will always be resistance, fear, and uncertainty. And that's okay. It's natural to feel apprehensive about the unknown. But it's how we respond to that fear that truly matters.
Instead of succumbing to the paralysis of indecision or clinging desperately to the status quo, let's confront change head-on with courage and resilience. Let's harness the power of our collective ingenuity to shape a future that reflects our values, aspirations, and dreams.
And let's not forget the importance of empathy and compassion in times of change. As we navigate the complexities of transformation, let's extend a helping hand to those who may be struggling, offering support, understanding, and encouragement along the way.
Because ultimately, change is about more than just progress; it's about people. It's about creating a world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive, where diversity is celebrated, and where every voice is heard.
So, as we bid farewell to this chapter of our journey, let's carry forward the lessons we've learned and the insights we've gained. Let's embrace change as a force for good, a catalyst for growth, and a beacon of hope in an ever-changing world.

Bending an Ear
Tumblr media
I’ve got a cluster of things I’ve been wanting to write about but haven’t really had the time. Having such a large collection of friends is not something I’m used to. But that isn’t what we are here to talk about.
Were here to talk about that feeling you get in the pit of your stomach. The deep down feeling of the bottom dropping out. The feeling of helplessness as you watch events unfold that you’ve been through knowing that there is nothing you can do other than talk and be there for when things might get ugly.
I have built in me this need to provide protection for anyone. But I also understand that people are going to do what people are going to do. Life Lessons need to be made and mistakes need to be experienced. There is absolutely no way you can put anyone you care for in a plastic bubble for their safety. That’s not a life anyone should have to live if they have a choice.
The most we can do is provide our experience, let them know things to look out for, love them, be there for them, and let them make their life. What we experienced may not be the same, we can only base our assumptions on the experiences we have had and while we can make educated guesses. We aren’t always right. Our age and the wisdom we collected along the way isn’t going to help anyone that can’t see the fact that what lays ahead may be daggers. We can provide them some things to look for, to help keep them safe. We can help provide them an ear, and arm, a shoulder and a safe place to come without feeling judged.
These things would have helped a vast majority of us had we had anything resembling acceptance and understanding while we grew up.
I’ve said a few times now …. No one gets through life without trauma.
It’s kind of disheartening. But what could a world filled with safe spaces, actual support, from not just family, but everyone. What would a world look like where the goal was to uplift the people around you and not compete to tear them down. I know I will never see this world. But a “Me” can dream. Right?
As a young me, I felt pressured to be interested in things I was not. To put on a face that was socially acceptable. I became what people thought of me. I became what I hated. It left me feeling hollow, empty, used, dirty, fake, and extremely lost.
I wanted to find my safe space and every time I tried I would get thorns and the effort of trying to find it was exhausting. Being behind the mask seemed almost effortless after a while. I accepted things I would never expect another person to accept or experience. And each time I turned more and more inward.
If I could express to anyone…. if I could give anyone an ‘epiphany’ by some means where a light bulb clicked and you could see that you are worth being valued by the people around you and those you hold dear. They should never make you feel ‘less than’. They should not be draining, it shouldn’t be an effort to be around them. When you think of spending time with them, it is a joy and not a sigh of reluctance.
I never thought something like this would have been possible. Likely never back home. (at least I feel this in my soul) But I’ve found it. My Partner is my safe space. Where ever he is, I know that I will have someone in my corner and someone to smack some sense into me when I’m being nonsensical or need a check because I’ve decided to run my train and mach speeds.
The friends we have made here are just as much a safe space, but in different ways. To have a friend understand when you just don’t have the energy for plans that were made, not having to make up excused. you just don’t feel like doing it and want to stay home. Having them understand and follow it up with an open invitation if anything changes. and legitimately mean it. It’s pretty amazing.
I am starting to run down the rabbit whole of wanting to provide every amazing example I’ve had with the friends we made so I don’t forget any of them. but thats not what this post is about.
So I need to end it here. I hope you enjoyed the read. I hope you get something out of it.

"Dream Big, Work Hard, Stay Humble: The Power of Ambition and Humility in Wall Art"
In a world filled with chaos and constant distractions, it's easy to lose sight of our dreams and aspirations. Life's challenges can sometimes be overwhelming, and the pursuit of success can lead us down a path where humility takes a back seat. It is in these moments that we need reminders of what truly matters in our journey—dreaming big, working hard, and staying humble. This powerful message comes to life through wall posters and art, serving as a daily source of inspiration and motivation.
Dream Big:
The phrase "Dream Big" encapsulates the essence of ambition. It reminds us that we should never stop reaching for the stars, no matter where we are in our lives. Dreaming big is about setting audacious goals, envisioning a future beyond our current circumstances, and believing in our ability to make those dreams a reality.
The wall art that carries this message often features images of soaring birds, starry skies, or people achieving remarkable feats. These visuals serve as a constant reminder that our dreams are the wings that allow us to rise above the ordinary. Whether you aspire to start your own business, travel the world, or make a positive impact on society, the act of dreaming big ignites a spark within, propelling us forward with purpose and excitement.
Work Hard:
"Dream Big" is only the first step; "Work Hard" is the action that transforms dreams into reality. This part of the message is a call to dedication, discipline, and effort. It emphasizes that the path to success is paved with sweat, tears, and unwavering commitment.
The wall posters adorned with this message often showcase images of industrious workers, marathon runners, or artists absorbed in their craft. These visuals convey the notion that hard work is not just a means to an end; it's a journey in itself. Each step taken, each obstacle overcome, is a testament to your dedication to your dreams.
The beauty of pairing "Dream Big" with "Work Hard" in wall art is that it provides a daily reminder of the importance of persistence and resilience. The road to success is rarely a smooth one, and staying the course can be challenging. Seeing these words on your wall every day can provide the motivation needed to keep pushing forward, even when the going gets tough.
Stay Humble:
Amidst the pursuit of big dreams and relentless hard work, it's essential to retain a sense of humility. "Stay Humble" encourages us to acknowledge that our accomplishments are not solely our own; they are often the result of collective effort, support, and sometimes, even a touch of luck.
Wall art featuring this sentiment often includes images of serene landscapes, humble individuals helping others, or symbols of unity. These visuals remind us that, while it's important to reach for the stars, we must remember our roots and the people who have helped us along the way.
Staying humble is about recognizing that we are all a part of a larger tapestry. It's a reminder that success should be shared, celebrated with gratitude, and used to uplift others. Humility is a source of strength, as it keeps our egos in check and allows us to learn from our mistakes and grow as individuals.
The Power of Combining Ambition and Humility:
"Dream Big, Work Hard, Stay Humble" is more than just a motivational message; it's a philosophy for a balanced, fulfilling life. It encourages us to set high goals, put in the necessary effort, and maintain a sense of gratitude and humility along the way.
This combination of ambition and humility is a powerful one. It helps us strive for excellence without losing sight of our values. It empowers us to chase our dreams with relentless determination while remaining appreciative of the journey, the people we meet, and the lessons we learn.
When you adorn your walls with this message, you create an environment that constantly reinforces these essential values. It serves as a daily reminder to never stop dreaming, work tirelessly towards your goals, and do so with grace and humility.
In conclusion, "Dream Big, Work Hard, Stay Humble" is not just a phrase; it's a mantra for living a life full of purpose and meaning. The combination of ambition and humility can be a guiding light in the darkest of times, a source of strength during the most challenging moments, and a beacon of hope in the pursuit of your dreams. So, don't just hang these words on your wall; let them sink deep into your heart, guiding you on your remarkable journey through life.

Peace and Love while we are still here.
When you go through my letters on my blogs and social media platforms, they all point to the same thing. Love, Peace and Stoicism.
Tumblr media
We will not always be strong, no matter how we pretend. We would need some inspiration or motivation to get going. Above all this, we need Love to get through. And that's what a true religion teaches.
While I fight my demons, I know there are my brothers out there going through some of theirs too. If by any means I am more experienced to guide a few through some circumstances or maybe help sharpen their sword so they can defeat their demons because perhaps I have gone through that path before, out of Love I want them to avoid such disasters.
Today on World Mental Health Day, we come together to shine a light on an important aspect of our lives that often remains hidden - our mental well-being.
Life has its ups and downs, and it's perfectly okay to go through difficult times that affect us mentally. In fact, it's a part of the human experience. Today I want you to know that you're not alone in this journey, and there's no shame in reaching out for help or simply sharing your feelings with someone you trust.
But it's not just about our own struggles; it's also about being there for others. Let's pledge to check up on the people in our lives, not just today but regularly. Let's listen without judgment, offer our support without hesitation, and be a shoulder to lean on when someone needs it most.
We often hear beautiful tributes and heartfelt condolences when we lose someone, but why wait until it's too late? A few days ago, I wrote that people have a lot of good things to say about you, but you only need to die. As scary as it sounds, you would agree there is a truth in it. Let's cherish and uplift one another while we're still here.
Remember a kind word, a simple "How are you?" or "I'm here for you" can mean the world to someone going through a tough time. Together we can make a profound difference in each other's lives. Let's break the stigma around mental health and create a world where everyone feels understood, supported and valued.
Whether on social media or in real life, let's stop tearing people down with our tongues. Make it a deal to say only the things that would bless or inspire others, only what is pure and worthy should come from us no matter how tempted we are to contribute our opinion on a subject. Let's say nice things about people not just on Birthdays or rest in Peace.
Let's not wait for tragedy to strike before we show our support. Let's be the light in someone's darkness, the hand they can hold onto when they're feeling lost.
Together we can make a difference. Let's bless people with our love and understanding while they are here with us.
Let the dead rest in Peace. Let us bless the Living while they are still here.

(Scene: The early morning rays illuminate the campus as the students make their way to Mugenri High.)
(Sukune, Kurohebi, and several other students gather in the courtyard, their energy palpable.)
Sukune: (excitedly) Gyuunyo! The day is full of possibilities! Let's start it off with a burst of creativity and enthusiasm!
Kurohebi: (smiling) Indeed, Sukune. Mornings are a time of renewed energy and fresh ideas. Let's make the most of it.
(Scene: The classroom, buzzing with activity as students settle into their seats.)
Hibaru: (standing at the front) Good morning, everyone! I hope you're ready to dive into the wonders of knowledge and exploration.
Kuroji: (leaning against a desk) In this chapter of the day, we'll be focusing on stimulating our minds and expanding our horizons.
Hibaru: (encouragingly) Embrace the morning buzz, absorb the wisdom imparted, and let your curiosity guide you.
As the lessons begin, the students immerse themselves in the world of learning, their minds awakened and ready to absorb new knowledge.
(Scene: The break between classes, where the students gather in small groups to discuss their thoughts and ideas.)
Sukune: (animatedly) Gyuunyo! I just had the most fantastic idea for my next art project. It's going to be revolutionary!
Kurohebi: (listening attentively) Share it with us, Sukune. Your creativity never fails to inspire.
The morning chapters are filled with intellectual exchanges, the pursuit of new ideas, and a shared passion for growth.
(Scene: The end of the morning classes, as the students pack their bags and prepare for the next part of their day.)
Tsubakura: (stretching) Another morning well spent. Let's carry this newfound knowledge and inspiration with us.
Yabusame: Absolutely! The morning has set the tone for the rest of the day. Let's make it count!
(As the students bid farewell to the morning and embark on the next chapter, they do so with a sense of fulfillment and eagerness for what's to come.)
Chapter 2: Defending Strength
(The atmosphere in the classroom becomes tense as Fumikado, Iyozane, and Tsugumi target Mitsumo, their mocking words cutting through the air.)
Fumikado: Hey, Mitsumo! Heard you've got some mental trauma. Bet you can't handle the pressure here.
Iyozane: Yeah, you're just a weakling. What makes you think you belong in this school?
Tsugumi: It's pathetic how you let your past define you. We're just helping you toughen up!
(Mitsumo's face pales, their shoulders slumping under the weight of the taunts. However, this time, the silence is broken by the voices of those who have also experienced the cruelty of the bullies.)
Clause: Enough is enough! How dare you torment someone who's already carrying their own burdens? It's despicable!
Lumen: You have no right to judge others based on their past. We should be supporting and understanding, not tearing each other down!
Haru: Your actions are nothing short of bullying. Mitsumo deserves kindness and compassion, just like everyone else.
(The room buzzes with a mix of tension and realization as other students begin to voice their agreement. The power dynamics shift, with support gathering around Mitsumo.)
Sukune: (speaking in their unique speech) Gyuunyo! Everyone has their own struggles, and it's our responsibility to uplift each other, not tear each other apart!
Kurohebi: We stand together against cruelty and intolerance. No one should be made to feel less because of their past or their pain.
(A wave of solidarity washes over the classroom, creating a protective shield around Mitsumo.)
Mitsumo: (whispering to themselves) Thank you... Thank you, everyone...
(The bullies, Fumikado, Iyozane, and Tsugumi, retreat under the weight of the united front against their actions. The strength and resilience of the students prevail, offering Mitsumo a glimmer of hope in the face of adversity.)
Chapter 3: A Second Class Begins
(After a brief break, the students gather in their respective classrooms for the second class of the day. The air is filled with anticipation as the teacher prepares to start the lesson.)
Teacher: Good afternoon, everyone. I hope you had a refreshing break. Let's begin our next class.
(The students settle into their seats, ready to delve into the subject at hand. Mitsumo, the new student, finds a seat among their classmates, still adjusting to the rhythm of the school.)
Mitsumo: (whispering to themselves) I hope I can keep up with the lessons. Everyone seems so knowledgeable.
(Sukune, sitting nearby, notices Mitsumo's apprehension and offers a friendly smile.)
Sukune: Gyuunyo! Don't worry, Mitsumo. We're all here to learn together. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
Mitsumo: Thank you, Sukune. I appreciate it.
(The teacher begins the class, presenting the day's topic and engaging the students in discussions and activities. Mitsumo listens attentively, their curiosity ignited by the subject matter.)
Teacher: Now, I'd like you all to work in pairs for this exercise. Find a partner and discuss the prompt I've given you.
(Mitsumo looks around, a bit hesitant to approach someone. However, Haru, noticing their hesitation, reaches out with a friendly gesture.)
Haru: Mitsumo, would you like to be partners for this activity? I think we can work well together.
Mitsumo: That would be great, Haru. Thank you for offering.
(As Mitsumo and Haru engage in the activity, they begin to exchange ideas and thoughts, building a connection through shared learning.)
Haru: I really like how you approach this topic, Mitsumo. Your perspective is unique.
Mitsumo: Thank you, Haru. I've always had a deep interest in this subject.
(Throughout the class, the students actively participate, sharing insights, asking questions, and learning from one another. Mitsumo gradually gains confidence, finding their voice within the classroom dynamic.)
Teacher: Time is up, everyone. Let's wrap up the activity and share our findings as a class.
(The students gather their thoughts and contribute to the class discussion, each offering their unique perspective and enriching the learning experience.)
Mitsumo: (speaking up) I believe that considering alternative solutions can lead to innovative approaches to the problem.
Teacher: Excellent point, Mitsumo. Your insight is valued.
(As the class comes to a close, Mitsumo feels a sense of accomplishment and belonging. They realize that Mugenri High is a place where their voice can be heard and their ideas can make a difference.)
Chapter 4: Lunchtime Delights
(The sound of the bell echoes through the halls, signaling the start of the lunch break. The students make their way to the cafeteria, eager to satisfy their hunger and enjoy some much-needed relaxation.)
Haru: (smiling) I'm glad it's lunchtime. I could use a break from studying.
(Sukune, ever the energetic soul, joins the conversation with a lively expression.)
Sukune: Gyuunyo! Lunchtime is the best time! I wonder what delicious treats await us today.
(As the students enter the bustling cafeteria, their eyes are drawn to the water bubbler where Shou, the sea slug, is happily drinking up all the water.)
Mitsumo: (curious) Oh, look! Shou seems to be enjoying their water break.
Haru: (giggling) Yes, Shou really loves water. They always seem so content when they're near it.
(Jun, Shou's best friend, approaches with a smile on their face.)
Jun: Hey, everyone! Have you seen Shou? They're like a bottomless pit when it comes to water.
Sukune: Gyuunyo! I guess that's one way to stay hydrated.
(While Shou continues to indulge in the water bubbler, some students start to express their concern.)
Yabusame: Hey, Shou! Leave some water for the rest of us!
Tsubakura: Yeah, it's not fair to hog it all to yourself.
(Whispers and murmurs spread through the cafeteria, causing a small commotion.)
Mitsumo: (softly) Maybe we should talk to Shou about sharing the water. They might not realize how it's affecting others.
Haru: (nodding) I agree. Let's approach them gently and explain the situation.
(The students gather their courage and approach Shou, who looks up with a content expression.)
Shou: Oh, hey! Enjoying lunch?
Mitsumo: (kindly) Shou, we noticed you've been drinking all the water from the bubbler. It's making it hard for others to quench their thirst.
Shou: (surprised) Oh, I didn't realize. I'm sorry, I just can't help myself when it comes to water.
Jun: (supportive) It's okay, Shou. We understand, but it's important to consider others too.
(Sensing their friends' concern, Shou takes a moment to reflect.)
Shou: You're right. I didn't mean to be selfish. I'll try to be more mindful from now on.
(With Shou's understanding, the students work together to find a solution.)
Sukune: Gyuunyo! Maybe we can refill the water bubbler more often, so there's enough for everyone.
Mitsumo: That's a great idea, Sukune. Let's talk to the staff about it.
(As the students collaborate and find ways to address the issue, a sense of harmony begins to fill the cafeteria.)
Haru: (smiling) It's wonderful to see how we can come together to create a better environment for everyone.
(The lunch break continues, with students enjoying their meals and engaging in lively conversations. The atmosphere becomes one of camaraderie and understanding.)
Chapter 5: Classroom Reflections
(The classroom is abuzz with activity as the students settle into their seats, preparing for another round of lessons. Sumireko, who has been living at Mugenri High for some time now, sits quietly at her desk, deep in thought.)
Sumireko: (whispering to herself) It's been quite an experience here at Mugenri High, but I think it's time for me to head back home. I'll miss everyone, but I can always come back to visit.
(As the class begins, the teacher takes attendance, calling out each student's name.)
Teacher: "Yabusame?"
Yabusame: "Here!"
Teacher: "Tsubakura?"
Tsubakura: "Present!"
Teacher: "Haru?"
Haru: "Here, sensei."
(As the roll call continues, Sumireko's name is eventually called.)
Teacher: "Sumireko?"
(Sumireko hesitates for a moment, then raises her hand.)
Sumireko: "Um, actually, sensei, I have something to discuss. Is it alright if I step out for a moment?"
Teacher: (surprised) "Of course, Sumireko. Is everything alright?"
Sumireko: (nervously) "Yes, everything's fine. I just need to have a quick conversation with the principal."
(With the teacher's permission, Sumireko leaves the classroom, her classmates casting curious glances her way. She makes her way to the principal's office, her mind racing with thoughts of her impending departure.)
Sumireko: (taking a deep breath) "I hope Principal Tsurubami understands my decision to return home. I've learned so much here, but it's time for me to face new challenges."
(Sumireko reaches the principal's office and knocks on the door.)
Principal Tsurubami: "Come in."
(Sumireko enters the office, finding Principal Tsurubami seated behind the desk.)
Principal Tsurubami: "Ah, Sumireko. What brings you here?"
Sumireko: (respectfully) "Principal Tsurubami, I've come to discuss my plans. I've decided it's time for me to return home, but I wanted to express my gratitude for the experiences I've had at Mugenri High."
Principal Tsurubami: (smiling) "I understand, Sumireko. Mugenri High has been enriched by your presence, and we're grateful for the contributions you've made during your time here. You're always welcome to come back and visit."
Sumireko: (gratefully) "Thank you, Principal Tsurubami. I've truly enjoyed my time here, and I'll treasure the memories and friendships I've made."
Principal Tsurubami: "I'm glad to hear that. Remember, the doors of Mugenri High are always open for you. We wish you the best in your future endeavors."
(Sumireko thanks Principal Tsurubami and bids farewell, her heart filled with mixed emotions as she walks back to her classroom.)
Sumireko: (whispering) "It's not a permanent goodbye. I'll come back to visit, and who knows, maybe one day I'll return to Mugenri High."
(As Sumireko returns to the classroom, her classmates notice her somber expression.)
Haru: (concerned) "Sumireko, is everything alright?"
Sumireko: (smiling) "Yes, Haru. Everything's fine. I just had to have a conversation with Principal Tsurubami. Let's focus on the lesson now."
(The class resumes, but Sumireko's impending departure lingers in the air. The students listen attentively, their thoughts drifting to the memories they've shared and the bonds they've formed.)
Chapter 6: Temporary Farewells
(The final class of the day comes to an end, and the students gather their belongings, preparing to head back to their dormitories. Sumireko stands at the front of the classroom, her classmates turning their attention towards her.)
Sumireko: (addressing the class) "Thank you all for your attention. I have an announcement to make. As some of you may know, I will be returning home temporarily. It's been an incredible journey here at Mugenri High, and I'm grateful for the friendships I've formed and the experiences I've had."
(There is a mixture of surprise and sadness in the room as Sumireko's classmates process her words.)
Lumen: (with a smile) "We'll miss you, Sumireko. It won't be the same without you."
Clause: "Yeah, you brought so much energy and excitement to the classroom. We'll definitely feel your absence."
Sumireko: (grateful) "Thank you, everyone. It means a lot to me. But don't worry, it's just a temporary goodbye. I'll be back before you know it, and we can create more memories together."
(Haru approaches Sumireko, a hint of sadness in their eyes.)
Haru: "I'll miss your presence, Sumireko. You brought a unique perspective to our discussions. Take care of yourself."
Sumireko: (smiling) "Thank you, Haru. I'll be sure to take care of myself. And remember, you can always reach out to me if you need anything."
(A wave of mixed emotions fills the room as Sumireko bids farewell to her classmates. They exchange heartfelt words and promises to stay in touch.)
(As the students disperse and make their way back to their dormitories, the halls of Mugenri High become quiet. Each student reflects on the day's events and the temporary goodbye to their dear friend.)
(Meanwhile, Sumireko gathers her belongings, ready to embark on her journey back home. As she walks through the campus one last time, memories of her time at Mugenri High flood her mind.)
Sumireko: (whispering) "This place has become a second home to me, and these friendships are ones I'll cherish forever. Mugenri High, I'll be back soon. Until then, take care, everyone."
(Sumireko exits the campus, leaving behind a bittersweet atmosphere. The students, each in their own dorm rooms, reflect on the day's events, knowing that their time together will be different without Sumireko's lively presence.)

Your Kids Will Encounter Holy Fire with These Practical Tips
When speaking at events, I am often asked for practical examples about how to help children encounter God.
My response is quite simple—everything we do should flow out of our relationship with the Holy Spirit because the Holy Spirit will lead you into all truth. John 16:13 says, “However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.”
In Proverbs 18:21, Solomon states, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” In our home, we place great emphasis on speaking life and not death over each other. We emphasize that our words should uplift, encourage, and support rather than discourage, demean, and embarrass. Our words should honor and not put down.
My son has a tender heart. When he was younger, hearing profanity in children’s movies would bother him. It got to a point where he would come to us in tears daily confessing he had used cuss words in his mind. At first, we dismissed his comments by saying things like, “Buddy, you’re not using cuss words, it’s okay, don’t worry about it.” However, he was very worried about it, almost obsessed with it. Although it may sound a little silly to us as adults, these thoughts can easily turn into lies and feelings that say, “You are not good. God can’t use you. You are a really bad person.”
We constantly tried to talk to him about how not all of our thoughts are our own. We would talk to him about how the enemy lies and how to hear the voice of the Lord. Yet the problem seemed to be getting worse. He would continue to come to us distraught and in tears feeling like a terrible person. I remember one morning I came downstairs to find him again on the couch in tears saying, “I said a cuss word in my mind again.” I walked by him into the kitchen and asked the Holy Spirit (partly out of irritation), “Holy Spirit! Help! What do I tell him? How do I help him?” I instantly heard in my spirit, “Tell him this: tell him to remind himself, every time he hears a yucky word in his head, to say over himself, ‘I don’t cuss!’ Get him to say that out loud over himself.”
I walked right back in the living room, sat beside him on the couch, spoke identity and truth over him, and then offered him this simple phrase to say out loud every time he would hear a cuss word in his mind. In the days that followed, I would hear him playing in his room and then stop and say enthusiastically, “I don’t cuss!” And a few days later those lies and the crippling condemnation that came with them were shut down and destroyed. He was set free. The Holy Spirit knew exactly what he needed because the Holy Spirit will lead you into all Truth.
While John 16:13 speaks of revelation and understanding—God’s word for our lives—it also speaks of revelation and wisdom for challenges that arise within our families. We have the solutions of Heaven at our disposal. God did not give these solutions to a select few. They are for every single believer who will call on the name of the Lord. According to Acts 2:38-39, “and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.” Receiving the Holy Spirit is a gift freely given. After Jesus ascended to Heaven, God specifically sent the Holy Spirit to us to be our Helper. “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you” (John 14:26). Boy, do we need help!
On my own, I would not have come up with such a simple phrase and solution to help my son. I would have spent hours ruminating over how to solve the problem, trying to fix it in my own strength and in my own way. The Holy Spirit always brings simple solutions to problems that seem unfixable or too complicated. “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him! …For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say” (Luke 11:13; 12:12). We all need the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit is for all of us.
Jesus is our example, yet He needed the Holy Spirit too. To fulfill God’s redemptive plan, Jesus had to be filled with the Holy Spirit. In fact, Jesus did not do any ministry without the Holy Spirit. Jesus did not do what He did simply because He was the Son of God. The qualifier for Jesus was not that He was the Son of God; it was that He was the Son of man equipped and empowered by the Holy Spirit fully submitted to the Father. In doing this, He made it possible for us to live like Him, equipped and empowered by the Holy Spirit fully submitted to the Father. What an example we have in Jesus where the impossible becomes possible.
Jesus begins His ministry after He is baptized by John the Baptist in Luke 3:21-22, “And the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven which said, ‘You are My beloved Son; in You I am well pleased.’” Luke 4:1 continues, “Then Jesus, being filled with the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness.” To be led by the Spirit, we will need to be filled with the Spirit. Jesus was led into the wilderness by the Holy Spirit. I do not think any of us would go into the wilderness without being led. The Holy Spirit will send us down paths no one wants to go. The Holy Spirit will help you speak life over your marriage when others tell you to give up. The Holy Spirit will say you are well able to take the land when everyone else sees giants. The Holy Spirit will say take the risk when everyone else says play it safe. Oh, how we need to be led by the Holy Spirit!
In Acts, the disciples had to be filled with The Holy Spirit before they were fully ready to demonstrate the Kingdom of God. Jesus tells them in Acts 1:8, “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” In Acts 4:31 when they finished praying, “the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.” The Holy Spirit equipped and empowered the disciples to bring the Kingdom of Heaven with boldness. In fact, Jesus tells the disciples it is actually better for them if He leaves: “Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you” (John 16:7). What a wild verse, and what a picture of how much we need the Holy Spirit!

If the first disciples of Jesus, who actually knew and learned from Him in the flesh, needed the Holy Spirit, how much more do we need the Holy Spirit! We cannot afford to live without the Holy Spirit. Being filled with the Holy Spirit will resonate through our homes and be infused into our families for future generations. But take heed—the generation that treats the Holy Spirit as optional will pass on to the next generation that Holy Spirit is optional. Living completely dependent on the Holy Spirit on a daily basis should not be optional; it should be a way of life. When we are continually filled with the Holy Spirit, then we are able to learn to be led by the Spirit. No decision in parenting, in business, in relationships, and in giving is made without seeking the Holy Spirit’s help.
My husband is the shopper of the family. I am not a shopper at all. When he goes into a store, my children and I have a game we play while we wait in the car for him. We ask the Holy Spirit to highlight someone in the parking lot walking to his or her car. We will then pray and declare over that person what God reveals to us, whether it is healing, breakthrough, salvation, or blessing. This game is good training for our children in listening to the Holy Spirit and a good reminder to me—we want to see what and how God sees. We want to train our spiritual eyes to see with God’s eyes. Seeing others in this way is only possible through a relationship with the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit is our best friend. When in relationship with Holy Spirit, all these things just naturally flow out of my relationship. When you have a best friend, you know their personality, their nature, their heart, their humor, and their lens of seeing the world. Same here. We can have that kind of relationship with the Holy Spirit. Not because I do but because the Bible says you can. In fact, look to Jesus because He is our greatest example in this. Smith Wigglesworth (1859–1947) said it this way, “Enter into the promises of God. It is your inheritance. You will do more in one year if you are really filled with the Holy Ghost than you could do in fifty years apart from Him.” Imagine what could change in our families if we fully yielded and were filled with the Holy Spirit.
Fire
If we are to have revival in our homes, we need to encounter God and be filled with the Holy Spirit. However, the fullness of the Holy Spirit in our lives should set us on fire. When the disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit in the upper room, Acts 2:3 says tongues of fire rested on them. Fire is fearsome. Fire burns and destroys, but it also renews and revives. In other words, it yields holiness through creative destruction. The fire of the Holy Spirit will burn and consume those things contrary to God’s design for us while purifying and consecrating those things He desires to remain. It will mold us like glass and clay into who God wants us to be. It sets us apart as God’s holy ones. It marks us.
Although God’s power is available, it is not automatic. Many people believe God’s word in scripture, but they do not believe they can live it out now. However, we are living in an era of change. The days are coming when we break the rules of religion and small thinking because revival always demands a change. The only way to change dysfunction is to disrupt it. We are in an era of Holy Spirit disruption. We need the fire of God in our lives to disrupt and to consume all wrong thinking we have grown accustomed to. We need this fire to burn up our opinions, our egos, our preferences, and our agendas so the only thing left is God’s opinion and His agenda. We need the fire of God to envelop, rest upon us, and mark us. Too often in churches, the Holy Spirit has been made to take a back seat or pushed to the side or kicked out altogether. Thus, confusion has been created. But the truth is for families to be revived, they need not only the Holy Spirit, but also the fire of the Holy Spirit.
The word fire is used in the Bible hundreds of times and is considered a distinct aspect of God’s nature as expressed in the following passages:
Do you see what we’ve got? An unshakable kingdom! And do you see how thankful we must be? Not only thankful, but brimming with worship, deeply reverent before God. For God is not an indifferent bystander. He’s actively cleaning house, torching all that needs to burn, and he won’t quit until it’s all cleansed. God himself is Fire! (Hebrews 12:28-29 MSG)
And the God who answers by fire… (1 Kings 18:24).
Then the fire of the Lord fell and consumed the burnt sacrifice (1 Kings 18:38).
And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them (Acts 2:3 ESV).
For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God (Deuteronomy 4:24).
He makes His angels winds, and His ministers a flame of fire (Hebrews 1:7 ESV).
Is not my word like fire, declares the Lord, and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces? (Jeremiah 23:29 ESV)
And I will be to her a wall of fire all around, declares the Lord, and I will be the glory in her midst (Zechariah 2:5).
Holy Spirit fire is normal Christianity. What does it look like to create a home where the fire of God and His manifest presence rests and resides? A home of encounter. Encountering God in our homes lights a fire in us—an internal hunger, desire, and determination to be moldable and teachable, creating a willingness to put it all on the table to cultivate revival in our homes. Creating a home of encounter is vital to operating with the authority and power God has given us. After all, we are called to be set apart and to live with Holy Spirit distinction.
In 1 Corinthians 2:5, Paul says, “Your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.” How often do we elevate the wisdom of men and explain away the power and authority the disciples carried in the gospels? My husband and I prayed with our children when they were very young to be filled with the Holy Spirit. This was important to us to teach and explain as we took the familiar quote to heart: “Children do not have a junior Holy Spirit.” Praying in the Spirit is normal family culture in our home. In fact, if my daughter or son is having a hard time or bad day, I will find them singing over themselves in the Spirit. Romans 8:26 (NIV) reads, “In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.” Joel 2 tells us encounter is coming and is for everyone:
So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten…And it shall come to pass after- ward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. And also on my menservants and on my maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days (Joel 2:25, 28-29).
True encounter brings such revelation that we cannot stay the same. The fire of God will bring such a shift in perspective that redemption and restoration become natural byproducts of encounter. It may be painful and will take determination—a determination to yield. A determination to go after the deep things of God, a determination to be completely led by the Holy Spirit, and a determination to not stop in our pursuit until only He remains. We need the fire of God. Our families need the fire of God.
Go after it. It is worth it. And the whole world will see it.

7 Ways to Be a Good Friend to Yourself From Today
Tumblr media
We are fortunate to have pals like this. Imagine how liberating it would be if we learned to be that kind of friend to ourselves. A happy relationship with oneself is essential for contentment. Let's take the following actions to discover how to become friends: 1. Be excited about your life A good buddy is especially thrilled when something wonderful occurs in your life. They are excited for your future and have big expectations for you. Can you be your own biggest supporter? We frequently hold back our enthusiasm and excitement out of concern that we'll be criticized or that the situation will quickly deteriorate. Live more, let's. Enjoy all of your accomplishments, small and large. Recognize that you deserve the finest. 2. Give yourself hope No matter how hard we try to do things the correct way, we cannot escape difficult times and issues. Never give up hope, even when things go wrong and it's difficult to remain positive. We tend to have ideas that push us toward decline when negativity takes root too easily. It is your responsibility as a good friend to maintain optimism even under the most trying circumstances. 3. Stop bullying yourself It's really rather simple, don't you think? With someone who mistreats you, you wouldn't want to be friends. But why do so many of us end up being the bullies in our own lives? Friends don't tear each other down; they uplift one another. Quit picking at every perceived defect in your voice, body, past, manner of walking, singing, or dancing. Quit telling yourself that you aren't deserving of wonderful things or that you aren't good enough. Bullies never support you in doing what's best for you or allow you to grow. You don't need that in your life or, most definitely, in yourself. 4. Focus on lessons We're all human, so we're going to make mistakes occasionally. No one anticipates that we will always be faultless. Thus, there will be falls. You're going to run against stumbling blocks along the way. What important, though, is what follows. Making mistakes is a way to learn; it's not a reason to feel bad about yourself. You can make the best use of the occurrence of your error if you decide to exercise caution in the future, make reparations, and do better than you did this time. Don't remain in the accident after this. Staying where you were when you didn't know better is not the smarter course to take. Moving on requires forgiveness. Keep in mind that your best buddy is you. What do you think your friend should want? 5. Believe in yourself Have you ever dreamed? Do you want to gratify those deep desires of yours? Do you have a strong desire to do something that you know is best for you? Are there any decisions you can make to get closer to the life you envision? What would you do if you were aware of a close friend who desired something, understood they needed to take this action, or was simply up for a challenge? Would you instill in them a dread of failing or would you surround them with words of encouragement? If they just took the step they really wanted to, would you believe in them and how wonderful their life could be? 6. Quit comparison Would you compare your friend to another person and begin evaluating how they perform or should be instead? It is harsh. That is not what a friend deserves. And acting in this manner would make you a terrible friend. So how come we constantly evaluate ourselves against others? How can we be so cruel to the one person we will spend our entire lives with, ourselves? Comparing is one of the most powerful tools for discouraging anyone since it is so unfair. That is largely worthless as well. Nothing positive comes from it. I really believe that as friends, we must put this conduct behind us and make the decision to behave better. 7. Be a good listener We all adore the buddy who is there to understand us and who will listen to us without passing judgment. We feel respected and heard. Let's respect our voice as well. When you sense something is off, pay attention to your gut instinct. When you realize it's time to leave, listen to your inner voice. Pay attention to what your heart wants. Pay attention to your body if you think it needs to rest. We all need to connect more with who we are. to pay closer attention and to be more mindful. Keep the internal voice close by while you cherish and pay attention to the external voices.   Read the full article

I'm worried
Bloom x reader
Shortcut:Y/n is injured during a fight with a burned
Tw:pain,betrayed
They were burned on the school grounds I believe by Roslind and Bloom disappeared like nothing to hell.
I kept my sword by my side while standing in front of all the fairies near the headmistress.
You could say I was her protege but now after all this time I'm not sure if I still am.
I continued to look for Bloom with my eyes until I found her and she wasn't alone, she was kissing fucking Sky. I was already about to approach her but a hand on my forearm stopped me.
"Now is not the time for that" Dowling said seriously and I just gasped slightly and returned to my previous position trying not to look at the girl betraying me.
I heard something on the roof and suddenly burnt came rushing into the school.
He looked at one of the fairies and I quickly ran leaving the teachers behind. I grabbed the girl and pushed her away, now I was standing in front of this monster and he was just looking at me.
I turned my head and he did the same, I looked at him with squinted eyes and I just put my sword through him. It was too easy but I didn't think about it until I felt a sharp pain on my left side.
"Fuck me" I cursed but I didn't lower the sword twisting it to the side as it just ran off following something with everyone else.
They went there all together so they were after something and we seemed to have figured it out at the same time with the headmistress.
"Where is Bloom" we asked each other at the same time and I didn't pay attention to my side anymore. My heart was beating a hundred times faster thinking that I might never see her again.
I started walking towards the door quickly pushing the barricade away. I hissed when I hit my injured side but that didn't stop me until someone told me to stop.
"Your side first" Farah said firmly but I couldn't agree with that.
I ignored it and just walked out of the school limping. I saw a big ball of water that was surrounded by something until I realised it wasn't something but someone.
"Bloom" I shouted attracting Stella's attention. Did she leave by any chance I thought but quickly dismissed the thought.
"What's going on" I asked Stella walking up to her almost falling but she caught me.
"What's with your side" she asked but I ignored it supporting myself slightly on her shoulder.
"It's nothing and the burns are getting closer, let's finish this and go to school" I said grabbing her arm but I didn't have the strength anymore.
There was darkness in front of my eyes and then darkness from which I did not know how to get out.
I don't know how long I spent in the darkness but it seemed like an eternity. Finally the light started to come to me and I tried to open my eyelids.
It was difficult but I finally succeeded and I was in my room hooked up to an IV. I slowly got up, which was hard because I felt like my head was going to explode.
-Hey hey you should rest - said someone taking me by the shoulders and laying me down again.
I didn't have the strength to protest so I gave in and started to hear that there was a commotion around me.
Finally I started to see normally so I saw that it was all the girls Stella, Musa, Terra, Aisha and Bloom.
-Hey - I said without looking at the redhead I didn't want to talk to her.
-Hey - they all replied.
Bloom grabbed my hand but I quickly pulled it away and the rest noticing the tension between us started to run out of the room.
-What's wrong - asked Bloom lightly as if nothing had happened.
-What's wrong, you kissed Sky and then you ran away risking your life‖ - I said a little uplifted.
-It's not like that, he kissed me and after a while I pushed him away, I only love you - she said honestly.
-You see, I risked my life, but I'm not the one who is lying in bed with an IV - she sneered, but you could see that she was worried.
-And that was very stupid, you could have died - she continued with the redhead and a tear ran down her cheek and I wiped it away.
-You could have died too, that's why I took the risk - I said smiling slightly.
I pulled her slightly into a kiss feeling that a smile was forming on her lips.
-I love you -I said
-I love you too - she answered pulling us into another kiss which I gladly reciprocated

NCT DREAM AS TYPES OF GROOMS ♡
before, during and after the wedding
Tumblr media
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, NCT DREAM! ♡
- gender neutral
- on crack, what’d u expect from this account lmao XD
- the picture qualities are Jurassic negative HD 0.4K but they still look good because dem visuals infinity/10
DISCLAIMER: Considering that not everyone has the same religion and wedding traditions, just imagine that this is for y’all own culture & religion’s weddings. Also, these men will be down to marry you a thousand times in one lifetime so.... conducting a ceremony again is no problem (that equates to more honeymoons and we love honeymoons).
♡ MARK
The “I do this for my squad, I do this for my gang” Groom
Tumblr media
⊰⊹ BEFORE: The type to inform family and friends a year before the actual wedding (he says it's an adult thing). You and Mark will have everything ready as early as possible so y'all can just chill as the date draws near. Will also be loud about it but not in an intentional way, he’s just neomu excited.
⊰⊹ DURING: Dude will throw finger guns to the guests *ehem* Johnny & Yuta *ehem* while he’s literally right next to the priest. He will also shed a few tears and laugh at himself for crying as he sees you walking down the aisle. Will never forget to thank God for blessing him with you ♡
⊰⊹ AFTER: Mark will dance with you in different genres (except there’s no twerking and grinding because you gotta leave space for Jesus). After the big reception, there will be a smaller reception at home with just you, him and yall parents before the actual honeymoon. He will do everything you like once you two are alone tho ;)
♡ RENJUN
The “You’ll remember this as the wedding of the century” Groom
Tumblr media
⊰⊹ BEFORE: Renjun's the type to write the most touching and heartfelt vow that will make you both cry and then add some savage twist at the end which will make everyone laugh (flashback to Haechan's birthday vlive). He will also make sure that everything--from the theme to the background music--is aesthetic af.
⊰⊹ DURING: Mans will 100% cry as he pictures you and him spending your entire lives together once he sees you walk down that aisle. Also, he is genuinely crying happy tears but will wipe them dramatically while he’s being filmed by your wedding videographer for ✧ remembrance and effect ✧
⊰⊹ AFTER: “Renjun, why is the temptation of wife OST playing in the background?”
He will sing close to your ear and give you a peck on the lips once in a while while everyone's busy partying. You two will greet the guests for a short while and then escape in a private plane to an island getaway for your honeymoon… it will take off in front of everyone because... ✧ art ✧ Also, get ready for the most romantic love making in Maldives ;)
♡ JENO
The “You thought it’d be no jam but it was actually the best wedding” Groom
Tumblr media
⊰⊹ BEFORE: Lets you take charge of planning, but when he suggests his ideas it’s so top notch that you’ll be all “why aren’t you saying more?” and it’s because he believes that the wedding is not as important as the person he is marrying (opposite to Jaemin: Jeno thinks you’ll be happier if he just lets you do whatever you want--as an act of letting you have freedom in your creativity). He’ll be super helpful if you need it tho so no worries.
⊰⊹ DURING: Will accidentally open your veil before the person in charge says “you may now kiss the bride/groom.” He doesn’t care about the cameras, all he sees is you, you and you. Jeno won't cry in the actual event but he will be teary eyed af for sure (he's saving the tears for when you guys are alone).
⊰⊹ AFTER: He will take all his chances to carry you and hold you in his arms all night long. Jeno’s signature eye smile will be plastered on his face all night. That innocent face also prepared a bed of roses and other surprises in your room ready for the honeymoon ;)
♡ HAECHAN
The “We’re not going home until someone blacks out” Groom
Tumblr media
⊰⊹ BEFORE: Haechan will pull a prank on you before the wedding so that you’ll coming running to him and he’ll see you (he can’t take the “you can’t see each other the night before the wedding” tradition because he misses you already). He will even make the vow writing a group activity lmao: “Whatchu writing?” “Haechan, stop looking! This is supposed to be a surprise.”
⊰⊹ DURING: He will tell everyone “I’m not gonna cry, that’s sus” but will definitely cry while laughing and get laughed at by family and friends lightheartedly. Haechan will say the funniest vows out of everyone but will also make you emotional because he can switch from being humorous to serious in 0.00001 second.
⊰⊹ AFTER: Reception is real party vibes; it’s not over until it’s game over. He might get bored eventually so you too will sneak out laughing in your wedding attires and just chill around the hotel’s swimming pools. He might also push you into a pool so he can save you and bathe you afterwards ;)
♡ JAEMIN
The “I’ve been dreaming of this my whole life” Groom
Tumblr media
⊰⊹ BEFORE: He’ll make the wedding planner question their entire existence (opposite to Jeno: Jaemin thinks you’ll be happier if he plans the wedding for you--as an act of service). He’ll be super open to your suggestions though and will immediately change up anything you don’t agree with so no worries.
⊰⊹ DURING: Jaemin will also give one of the funniest vows but it's because he's unintentionally funny in his speech delivery. He will say the sweetest and uplifting words, refraining from being too emotional because he doesn't want to see you cry... but you still do. Dude might do mild aegyo in front of everyone just to see you smile again (you know the finger on pouty lips one that he does with Renjun? Yep, that one).
⊰⊹ AFTER: He will drag you somewhere when everyone’s busy partying just so he can give you a kissth. He’s down to party with your family and friends but only if you’re always by his side. And he definitely won't care if the party's over or not--once he sees that you’re tired or want to be alone with him, he'll announce to everyone that you guys are gonna bounce… and bounce you shall ;)
♡ CHENLE
The “We can afford a Kardashian wedding but I’d rather keep it simple” Groom
Tumblr media
⊰⊹ BEFORE: Boi WILL 100% invite his bestie Stephen Curry. There will be three weddings: one for the grand wedding (at an arena for all of Shanghai to see--he doesn’t like this one but gotta keep those investors in check, you know?). Another for a small circle wedding (just family and friends). The last will be the “just the two of us casually exchanging chips and diamond rings while playing pubg” wedding
⊰⊹ DURING: Daddy Chenle will never forget to mention his son Mark in his vows and speeches. His whole clan will shower you with gifts and affection so much that he doesn’t know if he should be happy or annoyed because they’re not giving you two enough time to spend YOUR wedding together. He’s staying put though because hakuna matata #the scorpio side jumped out
⊰⊹ AFTER: No one else is allowed to touch you except for him. He will carry you bridal style away from the building and to his car so he can have you all to himself. He’ll definitely cry happy tears when it's just the two of you.
♡ JISUNG
The “We really should’ve married in secret instead” Groom
Tumblr media
⊰⊹ BEFORE: Will let you take control of the event but will pitch in his creative ideas here and there. Jisung insists that you have a small wedding but the number of NCT members is far from small lol. There's also a high chance of a beach wedding because he loves the open area (gives him more space to breathe plus he’ll see Haechan and Renjun trying to drown each other in the distance and that’s free entertainment).
⊰⊹ DURING: Dude will 100% get clowned by the NCT members while saying his vows (honorable mention: dreamies). He might rap some of his words out of nervousness (which everyone finds cute because it is). He will be all shy and awkward at first and then surprise everyone by his sudden bold moves (e.g. dip you as he kisses you, say the sweetest things). He will also cry happy tears as he sees you walk down that aisle.
⊰⊹ AFTER: He's truly grateful for all the support and love of everyone who attended but as an introvert and an Aquarius Plus Pro Max, he’ll be wishing on the inside that everyone just goes home already so you two can have fun alone. Mans will still get clowned by the members even during the reception but he doesn’t mind because he’s clowning them back now. His hand will be glued to your waist all night and he will sneak in a few kisses here and there.
♡ OT7:
- Everyone will get clowned by the other members regardless of the event so a wedding isn’t an exception. So either you protect your husband or join in on the light teasing... or both.
- You may also get clowned. It’s NCT we’re talking about.
- This is a work of fiction. Except the clownery & RenHyuck drowning each other in Jisung’s wedding. That’s true to life.
Happy Anniversary to our Dreamies >u< we love you guys sm!

Note
did you watch lucifer season six and what are your thoughts pls and ty
Ahaha. Yes. Yes I did watch it. Then I cried for a literal hour and attempted to compose myself, only to start crying again when I lay down and kept on thinking about it. Then I had more feelings. Then I slept like the dead due to emotional trauma. Then I reblogged gifsets and had More feelings. Then @buffaluff and @flynnanimal watched it and also required emotional support due to drowning in their own tears. So, uh... we're all fine here now. How are you?
My main takeaway from the final season was the sheer amount of love for the characters, story, and fans that you could feel shining through all the episodes, and which made SUCH a refreshing change. I had feelings in my tags the other day about how a show about the devil was constantly goofy, hopeful, loving, and uplifting, rather than all the grimdark nonsense they could have easily done with it. (As I said, just imagine it as written by the GOT idiots?? NO THANK YOU.) The writing really loved everyone and wanted to give them a proper ending and emotional journey, and it wanted to show the fans that they weren't stupid for having invested six seasons of effort and emotion into this, and just... that is so much rarer than it should be? Compare all the movies and TV shows that treat their fans like the enemy, that want to outsmart them at all costs even if it means changing major plot elements, that ferociously guard spoilers and think that "shock value" means good writing, by throwing hackneyed cliche upon cliche and making everything Depressing, and just... Lucifer had its hiccups and slow points and missteps, of course, but I am SO glad they didn't do that. The entire show consisted of Lucifer slowly but steadily progressing toward being a better man, despite mistakes and setbacks and sometimes a little too much will-they-won't-they. (Season 3 was the only one where I got bored and skipped over the filler episodes with Pierce/Lucifer/Chloe in order to get to the end).
That is an essentially simple premise, but they stuck to it, and they didn't try to create more drama by randomly wrecking what they had already established. I wrote a fic all the way back in mid-season 2 (In Nomine Patris) that ended up predicting quite a few of the future characters who had not yet appeared on the show at that time, including Eve, Michael, and Azrael, and several plot points, including the very major one of Lucifer returning to hell for the sake of his daughter with Chloe. And while this might mean that I am just that good at guessing TV shows (I would like to think this....) it also means that the writers set expectations, followed through on those expectations, and didn't suddenly derail everything or turn it totally on its head just for the sake of cheap shocks. As we can all attest, they certainly caused PLENTY of drama, anguish, pain, and suffering, but they did it in a way that remained faithful to the overall premises of the story and the characters, and wanted to see them become the best versions of themselves. I cried my eyes out at the end and then thought, "hey, I might want to watch the whole series again," which, if you ask me, is the mark of doing your job right. There have been so few TV endings recently where I didn't immediately swear off the whole thing or have to pretend that canon didn't exist, so yeah.
As I said, it was just refreshing to watch something that had that essential deep generosity at its core, where the message is that everyone is worthy of love if they make the hard and painful effort to change and become better, and that even if earthly things feel small next to all this messy celestial drama, they still matter, and that you are loved no matter what. I loved that Amenadiel became God and Lucifer returned to hell as a choice in order to help all the trapped souls be able to work through their guilt and go to heaven. There were obviously certain echoes of The Good Place in that ending; I don't know if it was something they had planned all along or if the success of TGP, another series asking deep questions about life, death, morality, and human nature within the framework of a goofy heaven-and-hell sitcom, influenced it, but either way, it worked so well. Even if it tore my heart out and stomped on it on the ground, it was fitting and oh so lovely to see Lucifer, once the most selfish being in the entire universe, following in Linda's footsteps and becoming selflessly dedicated to helping other people. Just. Chef's kiss.
And of course, Deckerstar. The Hades and Persephone vibes were IMMACULATE this season, and while it did take Lucifer and Chloe the best part of four seasons to get together, they never significantly backslid, never had third-party issues or cheap cheating storylines once they were officially a couple, and Tom Ellis and Lauren German REALLY killed it this season in particular. It was never easy for them and sometimes the drama went on a little too long over the course of said six seasons, but the love story was beautiful and incredibly meaningful and always true to the fact that the actors and characters and writers (not to mention the fans) all loved it so much. They were so much the emotional heart of this, and when they went to hell together in episode 6x03 (where they turned into cartoons because wHAT even IS this show), Joe Henderson said in an interview that this was to give the fans a view into Lucifer and Chloe's future (after) lives post-6x10, and to offer them a basis to write fanfiction. I mean... the showrunner saying to the fans "here, we love you, have something to write fic about!" is likewise pretty shockingly rare. It's again an example of how this show always audaciously poked fun at itself, never took itself TOO seriously, and was always welcoming its fans and the people who loved it to do so, rather than making them feel stupid or taking joy in wrecking beloved characters or plots.
Obviously, I loved Rory, the badass lesbian half-angel goth Deckerstar child straight out of My Immortal (seriously, she was SO edgy, it was amazing), because of the fact that Lucifer's entire arc was always about feeling abandoned by his father and that he was going to have to face it for himself. Dorky Devil Dad Lucifer trying his absolute HARDEST to bond with his daughter was simultaneously hilarious, adorable, and heart-wrenching, and yet again, the Growth. We all remember when he could barely tolerate Trixie touching him, and now we're here. Also, any variation whatsoever of "this is just a brief moment of time that we must be apart, love is eternal and stronger than death and we will never really leave each other" as a line is guaranteed to make me bawl my eyes out. So that was fun.
I got a big kick out of Ghost Dan running around and trying to get everyone to see him, and had feelings about seeing him in heaven with Charlotte and his beloved Pudding Pops at the end. I had feelings about how they handled Ella finding out the truth (or rather demanding to know why nobody had told her) and of course, I obviously loved Maze and Eve and their goth/femme wedding and the fact that they got a good three-season romantic arc (indeed, I wanted more of them). My god, Trixie is SO BIG, she used to be a tiny little nugget. I love that Linda was the moral and emotional rock all along, from the first episode to the very last, and that Amenadiel was Deeply Vindicated when Charlie's wings appeared at his first birthday party. I love how Lucifer in s6 is absolute thousands of light years from Lucifer in s1. And as ever, Chloe was Perfect. I am happy that I spent six seasons with these characters and saw them become better, and that I was never made to feel like an idiot for trusting the writers to end everything in a beautiful and emotional way. Because, well. They did. Sure, maybe I could go back and pick at a plotline here or a detail there, but I don't terribly feel the need to do so? It might not have been perfect, but it was perfect, and I am so grateful that it existed.

“What time is yours?”
“10:30. And yours?”
“11,” Jungkook smiles fondly at you when you try to tie his tie in a fancy Eldridge knot. You found some tutorial on YouTube about how to make fancy tie knots. Jungkook insists that no one’s going to look through his gown until the dinner, and by then his family would care less about how his tie is tied, but you care. It’s a bluff, Jungkook loves that you’re trying to dote on him and leave a trace of you at his graduation, as if it’s the last one you could give him.
Time is what you’ve run out of.
It takes infinitely longer to get ready when you’re dressing other people rather than yourself. You’re tying his knot while dressed scantily in your safety shorts and a bra, dress thrown somewhere and Jungkook’s only in a button down and boxers.
“You think I can make yours?” Jungkook jokes, “I mean my name’s in the Js. That gives me like, forty-five minutes.”
You scoff, shaking your head. Despite the fact that you would love to go to each other’s convocations, your majors are vastly different and therefore your graduations collide.
“It’s a busy day,” you reply vaguely, stepping away from Jungkook to see your handiwork. The tie is a minor detail, little silk ribbons criss-crossing over each other like an onyx waterfall. “Handsome,” you remark, brushing at his collar one last time before you dress yourself the rest of the way.
This should be a happy day–it is a happy day. Your family is driving over to the convocation ceremony, with signs and flowers as they watch you cross the finish line to the next chapter in  your life. Likewise with Jungkook, as his friends and family are traveling to another convocation ceremony on the other side of campus.
Your eyes discreetly dart around Jungkook’s apartment, noting that your college days really are over. Unlike your apartment, which you and Jennie have robbed clean (and spent days trying to get out the bleach stains in the carpet when Jennie spilled dye) until nothing was left, Jungkook’s remains fully furnished. He’s been accepted to the graduate program on campus, which starts right after graduation.
Your thoughts cutaway with Jungkook’s sweet words. “You’re beautiful,” he echoes your compliment once you put on your sundress, and he pulls you over to smooth out the edges.
Beautiful. Not cute or adorable, as he always loves to coo. You feel higher, lovelier, uplifted at the compliment.
“Is it too late?” you mumble to yourself, slipping on the silky material of your gown and hood. You clutch the cap between your fingers, squishing the cardboard material that keeps it straight.
“Too late for what?”
“Too late for us.”
Jungkook smiles, reaching over to brush the invisible tears off the swell of your cheek.
“I’m sorry,” you say.
“You can’t turn down an internship in New York,” Jungkook insists, “and there’s y’know, Facetime.”
It isn’t the same, and you don’t want to get to know Jungkook through a screen for the next year. How are you both going to balance a budding relationship atop your budding careers?
“I’ll wait for you,” he promises, but you put a hand on his chest before he has more to explain, “this is your hometown, right? You’ll have to visit here sometime.”
“I can’t let you do that for me,” you chastise, “you’re too good for that.”
“And you’re too good for me,” Jungkook’s all smiles, and that pains you even more. You’ve made this poor guy suffer for half the year, combined with a stressful senior year it took so long for you to get your head out of the dirt and realize that he didn’t just want sex, he wanted you.
“Don’t wait for me,” you repeat again, poking your finger in his chest. You yelp when he simply drags your pointer finger to his mouth, biting right at the canine, “I’m serious!”
“Fine,” he pouts, “but you can’t force me to stop thinking about you.”
“I can’t, but I don’t want to hurt you anymore.”
Why do you have such impeccable timing? Since when did the conversation get so lead-heavy? The ache in your chest seeps across your body, and you let yourself melt, leaning into Jungkook’s warm arms. You’re on borrowed time, your ceremony will start in less than thirty minutes, so you savor every second of it.
“Thank you, Jungkook.”
