Reporting For Duty

Ben had a new lease on life, and he was thankful to Rey for that, she had done so much for him and he had done so much to bring pain and anguish to the galaxy. After the Resistance had deemed that he wasnt a threat he had vowed to help them remove the last remnants of the first and last order through the galaxy. 

It had been a while since Ben had started this quest of his, he had been tirelessly what felt like all over the galaxy. He had heard about a first order strong hold planet and a garrison of resistance fighters that were trying to clear it out. He landed the freighter he was flying that was carrying fresh supplies for the soldiers and a few personnel with him, as he familiarized himself with the base they were using he found the officer in charge, “Hi, are you Shiraya Marek? I’m Ben Solo, I’m here to help.” he said as he reported in for duty.

i'm in a bit of a rut atm so i'm not super hyped about anything in particular, but my birthday is later this month! so that's something [:

i've got a harry potter pillow i found at a thrift store in middle school and for some reason his hairline can be pulled back to make him bald?? there's a purple dragon 3d puzzle that i cheated at putting together and has since broken in like two places akjdfanf. aaand my wooden kalimba that's shaped like a cute lil bear head

i am and always have been a huge book nerd so there are too many to list, but my all time favorite solo novel is the secret history by donna tartt! and my fav book that i've read this year is the house in the cerulean sea by tj klune

I have no idea. I've never wanted kids so I've never really thought about what I would name them.

Cold weather and the end of COVID.

Generally speaking, not really. I usually move on fairly quickly. But I would say that it depends on the person, how long we've known each other / been together, the type of relationship / situation, etc.

8. Have you ever cried because you were so annoyed?

No, but I have sworn a lot because of it. I tend to have a pretty bad mouth when I'm annoyed/frustrated, angry or in pain. lol

10. Are you good at hiding your feelings?

Sometimes I am and sometimes I'm not. It depends on the type of feelings.

Yesterday.

Oh, yes. There have been many times where I've wanted to give someone a piece of my mind, but decided to keep my mouth shut because I realized that it wouldn't do any good and would most likely just cause a shit load of drama, which I had no desire to be apart of.

18. Do you miss how things were a year ago?

Considering how crazy and fucked up things were a year ago, no I can't say that I do. In fact, I wish that it had never happened.

I've been listening to a lot of songs lately, I'm not sure that I can really choose a favorite.

As corny as it may be I suppose my parents are my best friends now.

Aside from the cartoons, there were a lot of shows that I enjoyed watching as a kid like Xena: Warrior Princess, The X-Files, JAG, Living Single, The Golden Girls, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Boy Meets World, Frasier, The Nanny, Family Matters, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Charmed, The Secret World of Alex Mack, Party of Five, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Star Trek.. And they're just the ones off the top of my head. lol And I still enjoy a lot of these shows now that I'm an adult.

As for the shows that I enjoy now, well, you already know the answer to that.

Ok, guys. I mostly have my new theme working. Thanks to @wearebraveyourhighness . I poked around in the HTML, copy and pasted some things and viola. All the redirect pages should work, but I haven’t touched the text pages yet. 

I still need to clean up the old info and whatnot. 

Alas, I am done for the night. Not sure what my activity will look like tomorrow. I’m going to a rodeo for the first time in years.

With it being the week of Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker I will be posting some photos of past Star Wars costumes I’ve done. Episode 1 holds a special, nostalgic place in my heart. It reminds me of the summer time, being a kid, going to see it with cousins as many times as we wanted that summer and just being fully inspired by its story, characters and places. We would swim almost daily at my grandmas house and pretend to be Jedi, fighting to save the queen of Naboo (which I probably insisted on being, lol) or we spent hours quoting lines to each other and thinking we were so clever and hilarious. I had seen the OG special release trilogy in theaters before then but this film is the one that really started it all for me. My Sabé was made in 2015, by me, from scratch.
