This is a recent story about my sister Soso who is only four years old. We are a family of 10 barely surviving in northern Gaza amidst famine and bombardments. It might seem unbelievable, but the cost of a 25kg sack of flour has reached $1,000 in my area. We also have to pay almost the same amount every month to rent the single destroyed room we have been living in for months. If we’re kicked out, it will be a death sentence.

I’m so hungry, I’m so hungry, I swear I’m dizzy all day long as I try to study for university midterms I might not even be able to take because my connection is unstable.

I wish the money I’ve already received was enough, I wish more than anything that I could stop asking because I’m so embarrassed, but everything is so expensive, we’re a family of ten, and both Chuffed, PayPal and the bank take huge commissions from any amount I receive. Any food we can find is for my grandmother and my youngest sister and the rest of us survive on barely anything. We have to pay for vitamins due to the lack of food, for medicine for my mother and grandmother who are very sick, for treatment for my brother who got hurt in an accident, for phone data, for everything. I’m so tired.

Please help, I swear I’ll be thankful for anything. If you can’t afford to donate, then please at least share and I won’t ask more of you. Please.

So while I'm balancing commissions with the Zosan Germa Prince Au, this is a vignette (without background for now) from the Dragodile comic that's going to be for sale on Patreon. I plan for it to be 20 pages and 2 color illustrations + a color cover.

I want to paint it, but I'm not going to have time for that, I already have 16 pages, but I'm kind of unsure with the price.

I don't want to charge a lot but I also need to know how much the time I put into this work is worth, since I wrote a script as well as illustrated it.
