I can’t believe I need to say this, but a gay character being effeminate, who likes make-up or fashion, it’s not necessarily a stereotype.
Web-Weaver was created (by a gay man) to represent ONE type of gay men who doesn’t get represented in superhero comics, what’s the problem? he’s fab, he’s fashion, he’s the moment.
Stop trying to make every gay superhero the same thing, I’m tired of the same manly gay guys from Marvel/DC.
Let us have one gay twink who is loud, is a fashion designer and wears make-up.

I just learned about Rina Sawayama of all people designing a future suit for Spider-Man 2??? Feels out of left field, but above all I'm happy and excited for her!
And now that I know that suits are gonna be added to the game in the future, pleeeeeease give Peter a Web-Weaver suit oh my god pleeease!

Can anyone help me ID this character? He's sooooo cute, and Steve Foxe has used him in both Web-Weaver comics-- first as Cooper's coworker at the fashion studio, and here as a friend of Kyle Jinadu. He got a ton of page-time in Voices: Spider-Verse, but I've got no idea if he's based on existing character or not.
Pretty much every character in Cooper's world is a version of somebody from Earth-616. His other coworkers are Sajani Jaffrey and Kenneth Kingston, who are both Spider-Man characters, but this guy, whose name is Fitz, doesn't have any obvious parallels-- at least not that I know of, but I'm not a Spidey expert. The fact that he's a trans character also leads me to wonder if his 616 counterpart might be a different gender. If anybody's got any leads, let me know. I'm just super curious.
