Your leg bounced up and down, the almost inaudible sound of the heel of your shoes hitting the wooden floor annoying the girl sitting next to you on the bed, the movements of your legs and the way you chewed on your bottom lip enough to get her annoyed.
Closing the book, Wednesday turned to you, eyes alternating between the irritating move and your features.
“Can you stop with that infuriating sound? It’s distracting me.”
“Uh?” You look at Wednesday, eyes darting from yours to your bouncing leg in a silent answer. “Oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t even notice it.”
“Now that you do, stop it.”
“I can’t control it.”
Wednesday took a deep breath, bringing her hand to rest on top of your knee, forcing you to stop. Somehow, your leg was still shaking under her touch and now, a heatwave spread inside your body at the sudden touch, a bright red color threatening to take over your vision, a sharp pain in your gums.
You closed your eyes, taking deep breaths and trying to take control over your instincts. But Addams being so close to you with her almost unnoticeable perfume and hand on your thigh, it was hard and any small thing coming from her was enough to get you to lose control.
“You’re starving, aren’t you?” All you could do was nod, not wanting her to see the sharp fangs that sunk on the inside of your mouth. Removing her hand from your leg, you felt a weight being placed on top of your body instead. “Open your eyes, let me take a look at them.”
“No,” you whispered, shaking your head.
“I wasn’t asking. Open them now and look at me.”
Despise the calming way she spoke, her words and demanding tone were enough to get you to do as you were told, unable to resist the smell she had; It was like a spell placed on you.
Wednesday brought her hands to your face, opening your lips to see the sharp fangs you were hiding, pressing the tip of a finger under one, a single drop of raven blood poking out of the small wound was enough to cover your lower lip with her movement.
“Wends…” You warned with a hoarse voice, controlling the impulse to lick the sweet blood off of your lip.
The dark, silky sheets under your hands ripping off around your nails, stopping you from digging the skin of her waist. Knowing Wednesday, she would definitely make you pay for a new set.
Ignoring the warning timbre in your voice, Wednesday opened her white blouse, dragging the fabric away from her shoulder area along with the strip of her bra.
“Take it.”
“No.”
“If you want to keep that snarky tongue of yours, I suggest you to stop fighting and just do as I am telling you to.”
The second you focused on the cold, pale skin, of her neck, everything around you turned red, melting as you caught the sound of her blood flowing through her body, the steady pace of her heartbeat, muffling every small sound that surrounded the both of you.
All you could hear, see and smell, came from the small girl sitting on your lap. And that was all that matters.
The red, warm, sweet blood that kept her alive. The blood of a Raven, Wednesday being the last one of her bloodline known to you.
Noticing the lack of motion coming from your frozen body, the Addams girl gently tugged you by the back of your head, bringing you closer to her.
“Take it.” She whispered; fingers lost in your hair. “It’s all yours.”
“All mine…” You replied, lost in your red reality, barely processing what left her lips, all you could hear, loud and clear, was the pumping of her jugular, the sweet blood rushing through her veins.
Leaning in, your nose brushed on the cold skin, taking a deep breath. The ghostly touch causing the other to close her eyes. You opened your mouth, enough for the tip of your tongue to touch her, a surprised sigh coming from Wednesday.
“I profoundly hate when you do that.”
“Are you sure? Because I can hear every beat of your heart.” You placed a kissed near her collarbones. “And the way your thighs are pressing against mine.” Another kiss, a little bit higher.
“Stop talking. It’s an order.”
You laughed against her, hands slowly moving from the silky sheets to her thighs. “You’re in no place to boss me around, Addams.”
“I thought you enjoyed being my little pet.”
“I enjoy more when you’re my prey.”
Looking into your eyes, Wednesday could barely see the color of it, dark red mixed with golden strings covering most of your iris, pupils dilated in a black color. The veins under your eyes, disappearing and appearing as if it was following the beat of a music, little did she know it was synchronized with her own heartbeat.
It always felt like that, to be under her spell, if felt paralyzing, something in the way Wednesday smelled and tasted like, so sweet it was like drinking honey.
For her, having your teeth sinking in her neck, poison spreading through your saliva turning the pain into pleasure in just a few seconds. She would never admit, but being your personal blood bag made the pain settle in between her thighs.
She needed you as much as you needed her.
Why else would she sit on your lap and keep you around? Allowing you to follow every single step of hers like a lost puppy, holding you on a tight leash, stopping you from biting others like a misbehaved puppy.
Gulping, she licked her lips, your eyes following every single movement of her body. She felt like an addicted waiting for the next jet of poison, it’s been days since the last time you fed on her.
“Did you drink from somebody else?” You shook your head. You tried to, actually, blood bags, human blood straight from the vein, animal blood that you captured with Eugene’s help; they all tasted like garbage. “Then why are you refusing to do as I tell you to?”
“Because I don’t want to hurt you.”
A small grin tugged on her lips. “I want you to hurt me.”
A gush of adrenaline ran in the veins under your eyes the second you heard her whisper, eyes filled with a specific glow that you almost never see in Wednesday: excitement.
The moment your fangs dug in the cold skin, a low moan escaped between Wednesday’s parted lips, the fingers in your hair pulling you impossible closer. The hot, thick red liquid filled your mouth, the iron taste almost unnoticeable, being replaced by a sweet taste that only she had.
Throwing her head back in an attempt to give you more access to her neck, she didn’t even notice that small rhythm her hips were following against your legs, rubbing herself on you. Her scent, stronger than ever, filling every centimeter of your lungs like smoke.
Moving your hands to her hips, you bruised the covered skin as you helped her steady movements. Opening her lips to take a deep breath soon became a breathless moan, your name escaping her parted lips as you drank more and more from her, the poison spreading through her veins as you lick the open wound, capturing what escaped from your hungry mouth before biting her again.
Wednesday was weak in your arms, the hot feeling in the pit of her stomach getting hotter and hotter as she rounded her hips on your leg, a wet stain on the fabric of your jeans as she came, eyes rolling to the back of her head and body falling back, being held by your hands.
Switching positions, you laid the small girl on her bed, dark silky sheets embracing her body as you laid on top of her to lick around her neck, not wasting a single drop of the precious blood that you couldn’t go without.
Kissing your way up to her face, Addams still had her eyes closed, a fainted reddish color spread on her cheeks as she came down from her high. When she opened her eyes, she was met with your golden ones, shining like a star in the night sky. She caressed your face, thumb swiping your lips to collect the thick liquid that covered them before gently sucking on them, maintaining the eye contact; a satisfied hum in her throat.
“Kiss me. I want to taste my blood on your tongue.”
As she commanded, you connected your lips together in a kiss that was soft at first, turning to bruising and desperate as her legs wrapped around your waist, pulling you in, lips wrapping around your tongue to get more of it before she breaks the kiss, hands moving to your shoulders.
“What are you doing?” You asked, confused, as she tried to push you down, but you, being stronger than her, didn’t move an inch.
“I need your tongue somewhere else, and I need it now, so be a good pet and collaborate with me.”
Wednesday was nearly screaming inside, her weak body in desperate need of you, one of the collateral damages from your poison. And the way you smelled, the way your hands touch her body, it was a lot more than just the venom that rushed in her veins, there was something else in the brownish glow that stared at you. You smiled.
“As you wish, master.”

Being a magic user was fun, even if you didn't know much about it. You could make things move with a wave of your hand, or create a barrier to block incoming attacks. But with great power came great responsibility - it was up to you to use your magic responsibly and for good. That good including helping your girlfriend's best friend with her obvious crush on Ajax.
You were determined to help her, even if it meant you had to use your magic to do it. You knew it was a risk, but the reward would be worth it. "So, how do I use this?" Enid asks as you hand her the glass bottle.
"Just throw it on the ground of his dorm room. Only one person should be present in the room when you do. Then, stand back and wait for the magic to take effect." Enid takes the bottle and nods. "So when he inhales this...air? He'll—"
"He'll express his true thoughts to you," You say, cutting her off. Enid smiles before engulfing you into a tight hug. Enid pulls away and looks at you with a sparkle in her eyes.
You then say, "It'll be like he can't help himself. You'll find out what he really thinks about you." She grins and nods, then takes a step back. "Thank you so much, Y/N!" Enid tries to pull you into another hug but you stop her. "That's enough hugs for today."
She laughs, taking a step back. "You and Wednesday are so alike." You give her a smirk and take a step back. "I'll see you later." You turn and walk away, Enid places down the bottle on Wednesday's nightstand before following you out of her dorm.
Wednesday walks into her dorm, Thing jumps from her shoulder, and makes his way onto her desk. Wednesday begins to unpack her belongings, her eyes snaping to the sound of glass breaking. Wednesday looks around to find Thing had knocked over a glass bottle, shards of glass spread across the ground.
Thing begins to tap his fingers onto the desk, apologizing to Wednesday. Wednesday's blank face barley softens, "Relax." Is all she says before she kneels down and kneels over the glass, picking up the shards and throwing them away.
When Enid arrives back to the dorm, her eyes widen at the fact the bottle is gone. Her gothroommate greets her as she continues to typing on her typewriter. Enid stares at her in disbelief, "Uh...Wednesday? What happened to the bottle on your desk?"
Wednesday stops typing and looks at her, "Thing broke it, so I threw it away." She goes back to typing, oblivious to Enid's shocked expression. Enid stands there, stunned. She takes a deep breath and shakes her head. "I'm so screwed," she mumbles before walking away.
It's now morning time, you're outside of Wednesday's and Enid's door, only to be knocked aside by Enid rushing out. "Hi, Y/N. Bye, Y/N." She says quickly, rushing down the hallway. You were taken aback by Enid's suddenness, watching the girl as your eyes squinted in curiosity.
Wednesday had been standing in the doorway, watching the exchange with a smirk. "That's not anything new with Enid." She says, staring at you, a small smirk apparent on her upper lip.
"Seems like you're in a good mood, Cara Mia." You softly say to the dark-haired girl in front of you. Wednesday's smirk broadened as she stepped closer to you and let out a laugh at her reply. "And it seems like you hit your head this morning, Amore mio." she said, her voice low and melodic. She then leaned close and placed a kiss on your cheek, close to your lips.
You felt your heart leap and your cheeks heat up. You were too stunned to say a word, so you just stood there, looking into her eyes. She smirked again, her eyes twinkling with mischief, before she stepped back and walked away. You were left standing there, feeling a mixture of confusion and excitement. Wednesday was never one to initiate contact, normally you were the one greeting her with a kiss.
You watched her leave, still in shock. You weren't sure what to make of the situation, but you couldn't deny the thrill of it all. She had always been a mystery, and you couldn't help but wonder what this meant for the two of you. You shook your head, trying to clear your thoughts. You followed after the girl, staring her at her for a few moments before staring at the path ahead of the two of you.
When you arrived at class, Wednesday walked straight past her normal seat next to Xavier and she followed you. Xavier watched her go, a look of confusion on his face. As Wednesday took Enid's face, you furrowed your eyebrows.
Wednesday settled into her seat, her eyes never leaving yours. You could feel Xavier's gaze on the both of you, but you didn't look at him. Instead, you let the tension linger in the air. "Mi amor..." You begin whispering, "Enid's going to be upset if she has to sit next to Xavier."
"Let her be upset. I would rather be next to you." You give a small smile, feeling the warmth of Wednesday's hand on yours. Xavier stares daggers at both of you, but you don't break eye contact with Wednesday. Soon Enid walks into the classroom, noticing Wednesday sitting next to you, the only open seat being beside Xavier.
She closes her eyes for a moment before sitting down with Xavier. He opens his mouth to speak but Enid interrupts him, "Please don't make this anymore painful than it has to be." Xavier sighs and closes his mouth, sparing another glance at you and Wednesday.
You were very confused. Wednesday's hand was interlaced with yours while she rested her head on the other, staring at you, and taking in every single feature of your face.
"You look good today. Your appearance, though not conventionally charming, possesses a certain allure that is undeniably captivating." You felt your cheeks flush, and you couldn't look away. You felt yourself becoming more aware of her presence, and you felt an indescribable sensation pass through your body.
"Thank you, Cara Mia. You always know how to flatter me." She smirked and slowly moved closer. Her eyes pierced into yours, and you felt a rush of energy fill your body. "Flattery is an art, and I've always believed in being honest, even when it comes to praising appearances. Your unconventional features, framed by the veil of mystery you wear, hold a fascination that's difficult to ignore. It's refreshing to encounter someone who embraces their own peculiarities."
"Hm...?" You hummed out a bit. You felt the heat of her gaze as you looked back, mesmerized. She leaned closer until her lips were only inches away from yours and whispered, "Do you understand now?"
You nodded slowly, your heart racing. She leans back, focusing her attention on the front of the classroom. A small smirk curled at the corner of her lips while you were left in a daze, feeling the warmth of her presence even after she had turned away.
"Enid." You mumble to yourself.
After class was over, Wednesday wrapped an arm around yours. You looked up at Wednesday with wide eyes. She looked back at you, her black eyes twinkling. You felt the warmth of her arm around yours and the two of you walked away together. It felt nice to know this was apart of Wednesday's true feelings for you. But you didn't want to find this out by a stupid spell you had casted to help Enid.
You had to find a way to break the spell and make Wednesday's feelings go away, even if you truly wanted to enjoy this moment and savor the feeling of being cared for. "Enid." You sternly call out.
She pauses her movements, standing still in the hallway, before turning around and rushing to you. "I am so sorry! It was an accident." She rushes out. You roll your eyes in response. "Wednesday, I would like to talk to your roommate... alone."
Wednesday looks up at you, "I'd prefer to stay close to you." You raise an eyebrow at the girl, staring her down. "Wednesday," you say firmly, "I can handle this. I need to speak with your roommate alone." Wednesday reluctantly nods and backs away, her eyes still on you.
You take a deep breath and turn to her roommate. "How?" You ask, staring into Enid's eyes. The girl lets out a loud breath, "She told me Thing knocked it over!" You take another deep breath and try to process the information. You look around the hallway, people making their way to their next class.
"You will never get another love spell from me again, Enid." You take a step back and turn away from her. Enid stares after you, her eyes wide and her mouth open. You don't look back as you walk away, determined to break this love spell on Wednesday.
You hear Enid call out to you, but you ignore her. You grab Wednesday's hand and drag her to the library. "Well, this is an unexpected detour, isn't it? A secluded room, away from prying eyes and mundane distractions. I must admit, your choice of location is... intriguing." Wednesday says, taking a step forward.
You ignore the girl, browsing through the shelves of the library. You stop when you reach the spell book you needed, flipping through the pages before you find the spell you were looking for. Wednesday watches you, a very small furrow in her eyebrows. You twirl your finger around a bit, a green aura trailing from it before you flick it at Wednesday.
Wednesday gasps as the spell takes effect, her eyes widening in surprise. Wednesday looks around, blinking completely oblivious to the spell she has been under for the past couple of hours. Suddenly, she remembers the events of the past few hours and looks around in confusion. She can't believe she had been under a spell all that time. She shakes her head, trying to make sense of what happened.
She then narrows her eyes at you, a mix of suspicion and annoyance evident in her gaze. "What have you done, and more importantly, why? Is this some twisted attempt to manipulate my feelings?" You take a deep breath, "You know I'd never do that, Cara Mia...that spell wasn't meant for you."
She stares at you for a moment before the tension in her shoulders lessens. "Then who?" You place the spell book on a nearby table, stepping closer to Wednesday. "Enid. I wanted to help her with Ajax, but it seems Thing knocked over the bottle that contained the spell."
She looks away, her expression unreadable. You reach out, placing a hand on her cheek. "I must admit that I enjoyed you under that spell." Wednesday's gaze snaps to yours, her eyes widening. Her eyes glance at your lips and then back at your eyes. "Why does it feel as if I'm still under your spell?" You smile and brush your thumb across her cheek.
"Perhaps it's not a spell, Wednesday. Perhaps it's something more, something real. And as unconventional as it may be, I find myself entangled in the very same enchantment." You admit, your voice gentle and sincere as you gaze into her dark eyes.
A small, genuine smile tugs at her lips. "Enchantment, you say? Well, I suppose even a creature of the shadows like myself can succumb to the allure of something as perplexing as love."
You let out a small laugh, "Love has a way of finding its way into even the darkest corners of our souls. And I, for one, am grateful to have found it with you, Wednesday." Wednesday finds herself leaning in, her eyes trained on your lips.
You close the gap between you, your lips melding together in a gentle kiss. You feel Wednesday's love wash over you as you deepen the kiss, and you are filled with a warmth that you never thought possible. You slowly pull away, your eyes locked on hers and your hearts beating in unison.
A love potion was not needed, you thought to yourself. You had both found love in each other without any help. Even if Wednesday didn't show her love for you publicly, you knew deep down, you could feel it. She was your person and you were hers. Nothing would ever change that.

summary: wednesday catches your eye…and maybe you catch her’s too.

Your father owned the generational Jericho bookstore so it was only right, you in your teen years (needing a job) worked there. In fact, you were on a long eight hour shift now; leaning on the counter, hands holding you up for support and your burgundy work apron securely around your waist.
It was slow today—it was a slow day everyday. The same Jericho folk walked by, window shopping; only sometimes a few would come in but they didn’t buy much.
you hated Jericho, to you it was a boring town over obsessed with it’s origins. Trying to make it’s terrible founder’s into icons and heroes. It was ironic you had these views considering your dad took pride in being a generational Jericho family.
Even more than the town, you hated your fellow Jericho high school mates. They were self appointed assholes who you wanted nothing to do with. You often wished you were an outcast to attend Nevermore, from the outside they were way cooler than ‘normies’ and had more fun in their game challenges.
You loved when they came town, meeting a few, they were the most interesting people for miles. You specifically remember a boy named Ajax who’d told you how he stoned himself with his snakes.
“Excuse me.” Your thoughts faded away at the voice
Furthermore, the voice of what appeared to be a Nevermore student. You took into her unique uniform that held no color, much like her face that was beautifully pale—even more you took account to the hand on her shoulder.
She must be new. You thought.
New and pretty.
“Yeah,” you clear your throat. “Sorry, what can I do for you?”
“Where are you books on Jericho history?”
“And why’s an outcast like you care about boring Jericho history?” You come from around the counter, leading her to a history isle.
“I’m investigating the recent murders.”
“Well,” you pull a book from the shelf. “What you’re looking for probably won’t be here, they hide all shitty information on the founders, but here’s this.”
“Rivals of Normies and Outcasts.” She reads the book-cover, opening it for further read.
You stare at the hand on her shoulder, you’d seen a lot of unusual things from your Nevermore friends but never something like this. A single, living hand?
“His name’s Thing.” Her eyes remained on the book page.
“Does he…talk?”
“Yes.”
How. You think.
“He signs.”
“Can you read minds?” it wasn’t a far off question, considering she were an outcast.
“No, but your face is very telling to your thoughts. I’ll take this book.” She leads this time, back to the register.
You run the book across the scanner, the price appearing on the reader.
“$12.75”
You watched as the hand—Thing signed to her.
“I know.”
“What’d he say?” You questioned as you bagged the item.
She sat $20 in front of you, “He said it’s a rip off.”
“I’ll be sure to tell my dad that…he owns the store.”
She eyed you, almost if she didn’t know what to say or that she was uninterested—you don’t know but you felt uneasy as silence took over and her dead stare consumed your face
“h—have a good one.” was all you could mange.
h-have a good one? you face palm.

Wednesday Addams x Reader (Gender-Neutral)
Summary - Enid and Wednesday tries to take off the pumpkin off your head…
Tumblr media
You are in Enid’s dorm room craving pumpkins. It was her idea to put the pumpkins on the head as a mask, and you agreed to it. First, you helped her put on the pumpkin and you didn't struggle. Then she puts the pumpkin on your head now you two are smiling.
“This is fun!” Enid smiled.
“I will try to scare Wednesday” You smiled.
“I don't think that will be a good idea, Y/n,” Enid said.
“It’s Halloween,” You said.
You didn't listen to Enid. You hide behind the door and Wednesday walks into her dorm room, you jump out and scream. But Wednesday didn't get scared, she just stared at you.
“Am I supposed to be scared?” Wednesday asked.
“I thought it would work,” You said.
“Why do you have a pumpkin on your head?” Wednesday asked.
“It's Halloween and we wanted to crave pumpkins. You should join us it's fun” You said.
“I will pass,” Wednesday said.
Enid takes off the pumpkin off her head. Now, you try to take off yours but you can't do it. You asked Enid for help but she can't do it.
“Wow, that pumpkin is stuck on your head,” Enid said.
“Try again,” You said.
She does try again but she almost fell. Now, you try to do it on your own but can't do it. Wednesday is having fun watching you and Enid struggle to take the pumpkin off your head.
“Wednesday, you should help,” Enid said.
Wednesday goes to her closet and takes out an axe.
“You have an axe!?” Enid yelled.
“Why do you seem surprised?” Wednesday asked.
Wednesday starts to walk toward you and you are feeling terrified. She picks up her arms before she swings the axe, you move out of the way and she misses.
“There has to be another way,” You and Enid said in sync.
“You and Enid are weak and couldn't take off the pumpkin of your head. My way is fast and maybe you will get hurt, and stop moving” Wednesday said.
She swings the axe again and you start to run.
“I will let the pumpkin rot and it will fall off,” You said.
“Pumpkins last for three months before it starts to rot,” Wednesday said.
“That will be fine,” You said.
She starts to walk towards you but you run out of the dorm room.
“Maybe use something besides an axe to cut the pumpkin,” Enid said.
“Your Way didn't work now I will do it my way,” Wednesday said.
✬ ✬ ✬ ✬
You are in your bed and you still have the pumpkin on your head. It's late at night and you can't sleep. You didn't notice that Wednesday sneaked into your dorm room. She picks up her arms then you scream, you manage to get away from her. Then the axe went through your bed and you fell to the ground. Now, she starts to go after you and you are still on the ground, you start to use your arms to get away from her. You turned around and looked at the door, and before you could get up then Thing closed the door
“Not cool, Thing!” You yelled.
She swings her axe again it hits the pumpkin and you scream. You saw the axe and it was inches towards your face. The pumpkin cracked and it fell apart, now you are breathing very hard.
“That was payback,” Wednesday said.
“For what!?” You asked.
You are still breathing extremely hard.
“You made me watch Legally Blonde to cheer up Enid,” Wednesday said.
You don't say anything else and she walks away. You don't get up from the ground and your heart is still racing, then Enid runs into your dorm room
“Are you okay, Y/n?! I heard you scream. Wow! The pumpkin came off, but how?” Enid said.
“Thanks to, Wednesday,” You said.

Headcanons for Wednesday displaying a more soft side towards the reader? Like, when they're in private and she thinks no one is looking🥺
Wednesday, Much to her own detriment always seems very callous and cold but I think she’s a sucker deep down.
Tumblr media
Wednesday Wouldn’t dare do anything soft or what could be considered “Sweet” In Public or her own dorm, fearing Enid might pop in, and if she finds something out, the entire school is bound to know about it before third Period, so it sticks to your room.
It started simply with her being in your presence at first, not making any dramatic changes, until she asks, moreso demands to hold your hand. To “Understand this off putting feeling.” So you obliged.
Her hands, as expected were soft, well taken care of but ice cold, her grip was stiff and lacking any elegance. You could tell it was her first time even holding hands with someone. While it was a bit uncomfortable, you fully understood this was out of her comfort zone, and she’s taking this leap. For you. The one she loves.
You had to casually as possible explain that she’s cutting off the circulation of blood to your hands, she lets up after that.
It slowly began to escalate from hand holding to letting you rest your head on her lap as she sits on your bed, stiff as a board not knowing what to say or do. You reassure her to just be herself.
After a long day she walks in, without warning and approaches you and, much to your surprise, wraps her arms around you in a slight hug or grasp. You weren’t one to complain about it.
“Long Day?” You ask, “A Dreadfully unpleasant one. Stop talking and allow me to enjoy this.” She says.
It took months of hugs to turn into cuddles and simply loving each others embrace and presence, and even longer for you to muster the courage to even attempt to Kiss her, worried it might go too far for her.
All it took from her was the words, “Perhaps, I do love you..” and you simply couldn’t contain your joy and you moved in, giving her a soft and quick peck on the lips, leaving her stunned. Her face quickly turned a shade of red under her pale skin.
You couldn’t tell if she was angry or so stunned, as she stopped speaking to you or even being in your presence, avoiding you because of the decrepit butterflies in her stomach, but she mustered the courage and possible anger to confront you in your room.
You heard the door open and her turned around to face the music, what you got was her gently taking your hands, pulling you in slowly and her lips firmly locking with yours, your world began to spin with anxiety and, love.
“Wednesday Addams… I love you.”
“And I love you, Mi Amor.. but If you speak to anyone about this I will eviscerate you.”

———————
People loved ideas, but when those ideas don’t come to fruition or to the potential that was expected, that very same idea is rejected. It’s now seen as a monster, a failed projected which is then discarded as a failure. That was love for Wednesday. She liked the possibility of finding her one true pairing, someone who’d laugh at death with her, someone who wouldn’t follow on her heels like a puppy, but when she came into this world that idea was quickly discarded.
Wednesday watched her parents love and be loved, their over dramatic sighs at each other, the too many kisses and pet names all but made her run from love. Love had Wednesday wanting to curl away, to swat it like an annoying fly. The idea of it was horrid, shattered and broken. It didn’t suit Wednesday, nor did she want it to.
But unfortunately, love wanted Wednesday, which is why her heart tried to break free, away from the binds of her ribcage and to her suitor. It’s why Wednesday had a terrible desire to touch and be touched, she wanted to hold you, and love you. She wanted to call you names in Italian and watch the way you’d blush. The very idea of a relationship scared her and so, Wednesday did the only thing she could, she ran.
She ran into the rain away from you, from your warm embrace and pleasing comments, away from your featherlight touch and away from your heart that synced with hers. Wednesday couldn’t tell if the wetness on her face was from tears, or a simply startling amount of rain.
Her question was soon answered as she fell to her knees, gasping for air. Her heart was aching, begging and crying for you. It tried to escape out her throat, effectively clogging it and stuffing the air back into her lungs. Wednesday’s cries and pleas fell onto deaf ears, the gods shunning her away as she sat on her knees. The cold road was unwelcoming as she cried.
“Wednesday!” you shouted, running up her.
Wednesday’s head whipped up, fear evident in her eyes as she scrambled upwards.
“Please!”
She ignored her heart, pleading and crying for you, as she ran down the streets. Wednesday’s feet carried her off into the stormy night to an unknown destination. She didn’t care where they led her, as long as it was away from you and her feelings.
Wednesday ran until her lungs denied her air, until her feet tripped over themselves, and until her heart finally shattered and pierced her lungs. She felt them deflate, gasping as she pressed her forehead against the wet grass. Her body shivered as she laid untouched and unloved, even if she so desperately wanted it now.
Wednesday’s hand gripped the grass, pulling up clumps of green as she sobbed. Her shoulders shook violently with every gasp as her teeth chattered from the cold. Wednesday felt time pass slowly, every second felt like a minute, every minute felt like an hour, until finally she drifted off into sleep. The rain didn’t relent, Mother Nature also displeased with her actions, as she slept.
When she awoke, her body felt heavy and achy. Wednesday’s lungs still burned, eyes still sore and a raging headache there, too. She wasn’t in the grass anymore, no, she was in someone’s dorm. Wednesday’s eyes scanned the room.
Fake leaves hung in front of fairy lights, stacks of books upon books in every crevice and corner. The bookshelves were disheveled, too many books were crammed in there. There were beanbags in a corner, which had a petite coffee table tucked in between them. Folded blankets donned every place you  could sit, and facing the window was a computer, propped open whilst plugged in.
What a waste of electricity, Wednesday thought.
There was a dresser on the opposite side of the room. It was placed on a white and black carpet, the pattern design being zigzags. There was also a mini fridge placed there, along with a trash can and a smaller cupboard. Wednesday believed it to hold dry foods.
The door creeped open, her attention locked on it now. Your concentrated face, balancing two food trays in one hand, poked through. Wednesday felt her body go rigid, her heart aching and lungs burning. That same familiar lurch  in her stomach arose again, bile creeping upwards. The unwanted memories of last night  clouded her thoughts.
That stupid ache filled Wednesday’s heart again as she walked to Creepy Creatures. She understood it very well, her soulmate was near. It sucked having this, the doubling and crippling pain. Wednesday didn’t want another half to her soul, she didn’t want love and she most certainly didn’t ask for it.
Lost in her thoughts, Wednesday bumped into a student, their books tumbling out of their hands as they bent down.
Wednesday bent down too, stacking some books and folders on top of each other. She looked up into your gaze, seeing you for the first time. Just like that, it clicked. Wednesday’s heart sped up, past life memories flashing through at mock speed. She gasped, doubling back as she threw the books to the ground again. In a daze, Wednesday raced out of the school and into the rain.
Soulmates sucked, and they most certainly weren’t needed. Stupid past lives.
Wednesday looked away from you, uncharacteristically fidgeting with the hem of the white blanket. With feelings from her past lives bubbling up, her heart racing in expectation, she could only imagine you were feeling the same.
When soulmates meet, their past lives memories and feelings are restored. It’s overwhelming, seeing as with every life those feelings add on, and it seemed that you and Wednesday had been together for a very long time.
Her heart pounded as you walked closer, placing a tray on the bedside table. You didn’t say anything allowing the two of you to process the information and wake up. It was only six, after all.
You sat in the beanbag chair, pulling out a blanket, and grabbing a random book.
Smiling, your flipped the first page open. The music in your ears was slow, perfect for this book, and for the early morning. Perks of Being a Wallflower, it truly had to be your favorite book. It didn’t matter how many times you read it, it always changed and blossomed. You saw new angles and versions you never dared to look for before. Soulmates were like that too, permanent but always changing and adapting.
Wednesday hesitantly grabbed the tray, only grazing and taking small bites out of things. She wanted to leave, to go back to London and ignore this ever happened, but her past lives were battling now. They argued and told her she was stupid; that’d they all had felt this way too, but it would be worth it. Memories of nights you’d spent with different eras of clothes and makeup, names and faces always the same, crossed her mind. Permanent, but always changing.
Wednesday sighed, reviewing the big reveal in every life, and finding more and more creative ways. Bumping into someone wasn’t exactly nice for a first impression. Wednesday’s eyes widened a bit, getting around the 1700s, you were a princess, and had been arranged to marry Wednesday herself. Well, why couldn’t she be in that world? Royalty sounded fun, she could do whatever she pleased seeing as she’d be a queen.
As Wednesday forked through other lives, she took note that in everyone you were sensitive. You also seemed to be on the quiet side, observe rather than speak. The conversations you two had had were deep and thoughtful, never shallow and meaningless. Every sentence was constructed of a carefully crafted metaphor, ‘I love you’ was never danced around, it was said frequently, each way creative and even more extraordinary than the last.
Wednesday sighed once again, placing her dish on the dresser. Her fingertips pressed against her nails, pressing and pressing and pressing.
A short moment later, a book was placed on the bed. Wednesday looked up locking eyes with you once again. Her heart pounded harshly, throat coarse and dry, lungs deflating.
“Thought you might like that one. Seems your style.” You smile lightly, fingers playing with the hem of your cardigan. “Right, then.”
You walk back to the beanbag, this time draping a blanket over yourself.
“You’re welcome to go back to your dorm, if you’d like. There’s a spare key under the matt if you leave. Otherwise, make yourself home.”
You don’t meet her eyes, which are boring holes in the back of your head. Instead, you simply put your book back, turning on your side. The sun is barely over the horizon, but nonetheless it peaks through the window beautifully, igniting the room with a soft yellow glow.
Wednesday found herself gazing at you, every feature on your face illuminated perfectly. Her body doesn’t freak out like usual, it’s oddly…. peaceful. A nostalgic feelings spreads about her, filling every crevice and gap within herself, as she stares. You truly were beautiful.
It was odd for Wednesday, she’d always been afraid of love. She’d also hated it, found it gross and appalling. But the very same idea was mended and fixed, picked up once again, but not by her. It was picked up by you, in every last life you’d shown Wednesday that she could be loved and she could love, and every last life proved that she was capable. Wednesday couldn’t love the idea of love anymore than she could love you.
So, with her new and old revelation found again, Wednesday spoke up.
“I know we’ve just met, but I missed you — at least, that’s what I believe this feeling to be.”
You looked up to her, smiling gently. “I think I missed you too.”

When you moved to the small town of Jericho and started working at the only coffee shop around, you didn’t expect to get anyone’s attentions, especially from the local “freaky”. Wednesday Addams was full of surprises and secrets and, apparently, everyone here knew a bit about her.
Gossips followed you around like fog in the morning after a raining night, the eccentric Addams always being the subject that echoed inside the brownish walls of the cafe.
“I’ve heard she eats raw meat,” a high school student dressed in black and blue uniform said to her friend, no caring enough to at least whisper.
The other just nodded, not paying attentions to her surrenders, not even when the little bell above the entrance door jingled.
“My father told me her dad killed someone in Nevermore when he was a student… imagine being the daughter of killer.”
“Imagine being the daughter of a former police officer who was expelled from the police force for not being able to solve a simple case that happened more than 20 years ago.” The tranquil voice caught your attention, causing you to turn on your heels behind the counter.
Wednesday was standing next to the table where the two students sat, arms crossed and a deadly shine in her eyes. You smiled.
“Miss Addams, please stop terrorizing the small girls, they know nothing about life,” you spoke once you saw the reddish color in the girls’ cheeks.
“They better learn fast; life is not gentle.” She turned her head to you. “And neither am I.”
“Oh, should I fear for my life?”
You tilted your head, trying to get Wednesday’s attention in order for the girls to go back to the other students of Nevermore. The raven girl redirected her body towards you, taking steps until she was standing in front of the cashier.
“You most definitely should.”
Head motioning for the girls to leave, you placed both of your hands on the icy, black marble that covered the top of the counter.
“If I die, who’s going to make you your favorite cherry muffin?”
“Before I met you, I survived just fine without the sweetness of it in my daily life, I’m positive I can do it again once you’re gone.” She lifted her chin. “Now stop staling and bring me a double expresso, no sugar and a cherry muffin before I start terrorizing you instead.”
You chuckled, rolling your eyes as she turned to sit on the costumery table.
Putting the cherry muffin in a plate, you turned to the Italian coffee machine with an empty white mug in hand and freshly brewed coffee in the other.
As the bitter liquid slowly filled the porcelain, flashes of the first time you were face to face with Wednesday took over your memory. She was so small in her black and white Nevermore uniform, looking like an old school cartoon, disappearing behind the other students as she patiently and quietly waited in line to order. She stared at you, taking two steps ahead when the last person in front of her moved away with their order in hands, taking a seat with the others, black eyes that didn’t blink and looked dead, the pale white skin didn’t help either. Not a single mark on it, you noticed, except for the adorable freckles that spread over her small nose bridge and covered the area around her cheek bones.
She was polite and calm, unlike the others, speaking in a monotone voice that actually surprised you.
Wednesday ordered a small size expresso with no sugar. You offered her a muffin, freshly out of the oven and still warm. She was reluctant in saying ‘yes’ at first, but something in you convinced her.
Once the mug was filled, you placed it side by side with the muffin, smiling and murmuring a small ‘I hope you like it’, to which she replied with: “Thank you,” extending her hands to take the plate and mug of the counter.
She looked at the red-blood muffin before looking at you, giving you a small nod of her head before walking to an empty table.
You watched as she sat herself down and stared at the small cake in front of her, you licked your lips, curious to know if she would like it or not; it was your favorite, after all.
Wednesday tilted her head to the side, analyzing the sweet in front of her, internally admiring the color of it and how the powdered sugar on top of it reminded her of snow covered in blood.
Taking the wrap of it, she hesitantly took a bite of it, slowly chewing it. You bet your lips, anxiously standing behind the counter. She then took another bite, and another one, and another one, rapidly finishing the muffin.
You smiled to yourself, finally changing the focus of your attention.
Now, almost 7 years of the first interaction, you still secretly admired Wednesday as you waited for the coffee to fill the small sized mug. But now was different, she started drinking a double expresso to maintain her brain awake and cherry muffins became a part of her daily life.
But only if it was made by your hands.
Once the porcelain turned bitter black, you left your place from behind the corner and sat them down in front of the goth, taking the empty seat in front of her.
“Thank you,” Wednesday said simple, eyes focused on the yellowish pages that had all her attention.
“A new case?” You asked curious, taking a look around the nearly empty coffee shop.
“A runner found two dead bodies at the woods on Saturday, the captain assumed I’d be interest and gave me the case this morning.”
You pursed your lips, a tight knot in your stomach as your eyes analyzed the super graphic images that decorated the table. Pushing the images away from your point of view, you wondered how Wednesday could eat the red-blooded muffin while looking at actual blood.
As if she could read your mind, black painted nails reached for the small cake, her eyebrows sewing together once she saw what you did, “Care to explain what this is?”
You pursed your lips, containing a smile. On top of the sweet, a white skeleton’s head was drawn, black, deep-hollowed eyes filled with dark chocolate chips with a sewed-like smile under and dark red blood dripping from its eyes.
“I made it for you, Halloween is near and I figured you’d like it.”
“I can see that. What I want you to explain is why there’s blood coming from its eyes. Bones can’t bleed, there’s no tissue that can carry blood vessels or veins, it’s just bones.”
You rolled your eyes, “It’s a cupcake, Wens. Just eat it.”
“Fine.”
When she took the first bite, dark red filling dripped onto her hands. It was a mix between the sweetness of sugar and the sourness of cherry combined together that only you could do it perfectly.
“So… did you like it?”
Wednesday chewed and swallowed everything, licking her lips to capture the remained syrup, missing a small drop on the corner of her mouth. The tip of her fingers covered in the cherry liquid.
“It’s too sweet, next time don’t add any sugar to it. It’s not healthy. And it’s also too sticky and messy. I need a napkin.”
Reaching out for her hand, you sucked the tip of her fingers, closing your eyes at the sweetness that filled your mouth.
“You don’t need a napkin, you have a girlfriend to clean it for you.”
Wednesday widened her eyes at your action, looking around to make sure nobody saw that. The coffee shop was empty as it was almost noon and everyone was either at work or at school, only the two of you occupying a space inside.
“That was unnecessary.” She said with an affected tone.
“It was very necessary, I needed to see if it was too sweet.” You stood up, taking the empty plate in hands. Before returning to the kitchen, you leaned into her personal space, noses touching and the smell of her perfume filling your senses, that small drop being the only thing you saw in front of you. “You have some here too.”
The moment the tip of your tongue licked the red syrup, so close to her lips, Wednesday grabbed the mug near her hands, squeezing it hard enough to break if it was made of fragile material.
Before standing up properly, you pressed a chaste kiss to her lips, tasting the sourness in it.
“I’ll make sure the next ones aren’t too sweet for you, cara mia.” You winked, rapidly walking back to the counter to start preparing the muffins for the afternoon clients. And for your bitter girlfriend that cursed you under her breath for fogging up her brain with your tongue, taking away all the concentration she needed to solve this murder case. One that would need to wait after she locked the door, turned the open sign to ‘closed’, and dragged you by the hand to the supply closet.

A crush
Y/n: hey…do you uh, have a crush?Wednesday: Yes. I’ve been dropping them the most insanely obvious hints for a year now. No response.
Y/n: Wow ha, they sound stupid.
Wednesday: they aren’t . They are smart, just dense.
Y/n: Hmm. Maybe you need to be more obvious? Like, I don’t know… “Hey! I love you!”
Wednesday: Perhaps you’re right. Hey Y/n, I love you.
Y/n: See! Just say that!
Wednesday: Holy shit.
Y/n: If that flies over their head then, sorry Wednesday, but they're too dumb for you. Wednesday: y/n.
