Coeli's Picks: Men, part 3 (Dishonorable Mention)
Just in time for April Fool's Day, here are some truly eyebrow-raising and head-scratching costumes. I know neither of these shows had a huge budget, but that's no excuse.
Coeli's comments:
"If I had to look at them, so do you!"
Blake's 7 (s4e4, "Stardrive")
"Punk space pirates who totally fail to come across as menacing:"
Doctor Who (s10 e5, "Carnival of Monsters") / Leslie Dwyer as Vorg (and Cheryl Hall as Shirna)
No seriously, why is his costume Fruit Loops?

silly tlt stuff :3
@vincentaureliuslin @tatsumisheep3
these are actually awful pictures TwT
but we have weapons now!!!! :3
left is a real prop dagger i think? its used by an ensemble member for capture the flag and i think luke also uses it after last day of summer
right is a captuee the flag sword (the pvc sword behind it is what we use for rehearsal) and thats what most campers get for capture the flag :3 i think theyre made of wood (idk im doin hand to hand)
the sheild was flipped over :/ but im guessin thats the apollo one. theres like nine or something. one for each of the actually represented cabins? idk
anyway hopefully i can go to costuming next week. i should be able to FINALLY unless the schedule gets changed last minute. uhh i went to sets for a bit this week and i think most people are workin on the columns but we had to scavange for plywood from an old platform...and that took. over an hour :/// i might force someone in props to kidnap me so i can see the minotaur (i say that as if i dont already go to tech that im not signed up for) and maybe get pictures of the shields

I just remembered that Sam's still doing the Costume Bit and C2E37 was the NYCC live show where everyone dressed as sailors/pirates meaning depending on how the next few episodes shake out there is a non-zero chance we could watch a heartrending resurrection ritual while Sam's in the upper corner dressed in his leetle sailor costume and I don't think I'm ready for that emotional whiplash.
You know, I really had not considered this until this exact moment and Now I Am Fear, thank you.

I managed to fight my way to booking a seat at the Pokemon Cafe in Osaka!!
They release slots one month in advance at 6pm my time, so if you’re visiting on 4th April, slots will open up on 4th March. But when I was refreshing the pages they always hung... because so many people were trying to reserve spots as well!! I actually ended up not getting a slot before my flight, so I thought it was over... until halfway through my trip, I noticed someone canceled their reservation!! While I was actually trying to check another tab LOL.
The cafe was soooo cute, and they have different photos of different Pikachus on the job decorating the walls, like Chef Pikachu, Waitress Pikachu etc. I got the polteageist tea set (no photo bc I’m in the pic lol) and the pikachu set! (First photo) For a character cafe, the food is actually surprisingly tasty.
I was really shocked when they started announcing something and I was like “??? WHAT??” then a huge, dancing Patissier Pikachu stepped out! (Last photo) He was just so cute... His ears could wiggle and his nose could twitch! These pikachu costumes really are something else...

Hello beautiful humans, I don't know from where you are getting all the danmei merch, but if you haven't been buying from 42shops, this is a signal for you to do so.
I got all my dolls from them, the 2ha standees, and dolls' clothes.
They organise Twitter giveaways, and I just won the 2ha Chinese novel collection 😭 (I'm so happy, I saved a good coin.) They organise giveaways every month, and not so many people participate, hope that if you are looking for getting some free goodies, try your luck by following them and participating.

One Dress a Day Challenge
February: Coeli's Monochrome Picks
The Avengers (s4 e21, "A Touch of Brimstone") / Diana Rigg as Mrs. Emma Peel as the "Queen of Sin"
Fittingly for Leap Day, this costume is the odd one out in this month's group: it's the only one from the 1960s and also the only one from television rather than a movie. The costume, supposedly designed by Diana Rigg herself, was considered a bit too spicy for American TV--well, that plus the situation she finds herself in, which is infiltrating a club of thinly disguised S&M enthusiasts.
