HIHI uhh unstable-and-gay is one of my friends and my OTHER friend got me into WF, I heard from said friend that like. in order to truly get what the hell is happening in WF you Really gotta have a Guy Who Already Knows. I’ve only been playing truly maybe 1-3 weeks now (I tried before last year but it didn’t work for me at the time) lmao. my fav quest I’ve done so far is the Duviri Paradox, and I’m striving to become one of the maximum of 2 sevagoth mains lmao. I’ve been having a ton of fun with it so far and uhh. hi do you have any general tips for new players or like, any favourites you wanna rant about : )

HIHIHI! I will gladly rant to anyone and everyone about Warframe. All my tips are outdated because I know they changed progression but here goes:

Upgrade from the mrk-1 weapons if you haven't already. The regular versions can be bought for credits in the store.

Learn to mod! Modding works of percentages so you have to figure out what each piece of equipment is good at. Or just hit the automatic mod button and call it a day, that should get you through most of the game's story.

Whatever people say about meta basically only applies to endgame missions. Almost every warframe is viable for regular play if you know how to use them. THe one weapon I've found to be genuinly unplayable is the Stug, so tread a little more carefully around weapons.

Primes are nice to have, but not required. I am used to a time where Primes were far harder to get ahold of though, so picking one to work towards isn't a bad idea! Also, the one exception to this is Ash Prime. I don't care he's vaulted, he is genuinely easier to get then base Ash.

best way to get mastery is to rank up every weapon and warframe avalible to you. But also, the highest mastery you ever really need is 16, they stop gateing weapons after that.

Digital Extremes has the funiest fucking way of retconing lore. I don't know where you are in the game rn, so that's all I will say.

My favorite characters are the sentients lol. I cannot rant about most of them without spoiling the end of the game though. But uh, here's a list of my blorbos if you'd like more about any of these characters! Please include what quest ur on though, so I don't spoil you RIP. I also know everything about everyone else up until the most recent update.

Margulis had names she would call each of her adopted children, a small gesture to show them kindness in the face of the cruelty she shielded them from. Rees was her Little Moth.

The end of New War is a gold mine of good lines but there was something that stuck with me about the feeling I had, the goosebumps I got, the little shiver down my spine when Natah simply said "The Sun."

It's my birthday and you know ow what that means

Anyway, I don't get the chance to procrastinate over my art today and I'm honestly a little shitty abt that.

But, on the bright side, I plan on doing a few things when I've finished this piece:

. Wf art- gonna draw my frames and co, might make a few finished pieces, idk.

. Halofied characters- gonna finish our boy Ghost, start the rest of 141, maybe do a few Star Wars characters and/or wf characters (Natah would be an AI 100%).

. The Giga series- I have a few more Giga Alice things to do, then it's onto Giga Douglas, Soren, Griffin, etc. Master Cheeks won't ever be a Giga cas he lost his virginity.

. More Kalmaya art- maybe redraw her and make some concepts of her team and AI co. Idk yet, but ima have some fun :3

. Firefall- I love this lil dude.

. More book concept stuff/writing- idk yet, but ima enjoy that

ok so I replayed Chains of Harrow and random thoughts:

-Rell fused with Harrow because his mortal body would not survive without cryosleep, so I guess Tenno are mortal? (Tenno mortality/immortality will forever be my #1 WF lore confusion)

-Despite what happened during the New War I still think Rell was the first to shake Wally's hand only because he was alone and scared and needed a friend when even his mom abandoned him.

-Margulis casting him out still doesn't sit well with me, okay the Tenno kids could have been pricks to Rell and his mom had to stand up for him, but we never have any memories post-failed-Void jump, what if Palladino lied-by-omission and Rell was not known to Lotus for some other reason? I mean what are the chances a cult hellbent on burning everything they deem as enemies would kidnap a "sacred child", pluck him right out of Lua... Because Rell did use transference and have his own Warframe, so obviously he was part of Transference therapy and even Ballas' project. Though I guess the other nightmare scenario was that Margulis rejected Rell but Ballas took him in for the Warframe project. Imagine if we got a Harrow prime trailer and got a reference to Rell in that. :') "I took in that which was cast out", would be very fitting in how Ballas was jealous of Tenno for taking Margulis away from him.

Anyways, I feel sorry for poor Rell and I am glad we got to put him to rest...
