Had a dream where Nandor got plastic surgery, Guillermo embezzled money from Nadja's club, Laszlo and Nandor became a couple for a brief period of time and Sal Vulcano turned out to be little Colin Robinson's father before having his neck snapped by I think Nadja???

Then I remembered..it wasn't a dream. This actually happened

Actually, I'm going to go insane for a second about that episode

X-Bomber episode 8 begins with our heroes landing on Planet Bowling Alley Carpet for repairs after the events of the previous episode. The one girl on the team, Lamia, decides to explore the planet a bit while they're there. All well and normal so far.

She encounters a bunch of weird little moffun rabbit beasts! Her big alien buddy/bodyguard is a bit alarmed by them, but they seem basically harmless. Again, pretty much space rabbits.

Her buddy Kirara runs back to get the rest of the group and, assuming from their urgency that Lamia was in some sort of danger, one of the guys, Shiro, shoots one of the rabbits. Complete with a lovely actual smoking hole in the back of it's head. Great.

Lamia is understandably upset by this, given that these things couldn't possibly be less threatening if they tried. And his defense of his actions is. Interesting.

I'm sorry Shiro, but do you think this is Highlander or something? Blasting anything and everything on sight isn't strategy, it's cruelty.

So, the villain's scheme of the episode is to trigger a volcanic eruption that (they assume) our heroes won't be able to escape...because of the rabbit creatures (Lamia calls them "monmons")

Horrible. It would be horrible, Heracles.

Well, you'll never guess what our "heroes" decide to fucking do.

Yep! They just start blasting the shit out of them. And then once they're airborne...

And this environmental cataclysm adventure concludes with Lamia apologizing to Shiro for not being on board with decimating the local wildlife. Yay.

Reviews while I watch Buddy Daddies: Episode 7

I am late. I am hellishly late. And I will be hellishly late for the next episode too because of my work schedule this week. Fun. 

Oh yeah. The female. I saw speculations about her being Kazuki’s sister in law. hopefully we’ll see this episode. 

Kazuki starts sad. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Here comes his trauma episode!!

The wife died in a car accident didn’t she. And it’s around the anniversary of the death too. Oo. 

We never see Karin-chan in the opening. And the person we assume to be the wife is holding an umbrella just like the flashback scene just showed. Nice foreshadowing. 

And all the stress of having to always clean after everyone is getting to him too. Everything is just piling on. 

It straight up sounds like he said Fuck. I think he did. 

I really do hope they start appreciating him a bit more. Shame. He’s really having it. Rei is going to die isn’t he. (metaphorically)

Yeup. Confirmed. It’s the sister in law. And apparently the wife's only living family. Crazy. 

FIVE YEARS. That’s quite awhile.

He just straight up says he killed her. Fuck.

OH MY FUCKING GOD. THAT IS SO BAD. WHAT THE HELL! I did not expect that. This poor man.

And she was definitely pregnant. That must have really hurt to watch her die. 

The sister is actually so cute. I like her personality. I hope we see more of her.

That episode was seriously a rollercoaster. I love how Miri and Rei haven’t really changed their ways but they have learned to appreciate Kazuki more which is a lot more realistic. Also. Damn these two really went through a lot in their past. I still wonder how Kazuki got into the spy business and we still need to see how these two got together. Hopefully soon.

I think people have truly lost any ability to be patient with storytelling.

‘I don’t understand this’ They’ll explain it if you wait.

‘I don’t like how this episode left things hanging’ There’s a continuation next week.

‘This character is flat’ Wait for them to be fleshed out.

So many of the complaints I see about shows lately are people being confused by things THAT THE SHOW WANTS YOU TO BE CONFUSED BY THATS THE FUN OF MYSTERY AND FORESHADOWING YOU ABSOLUTE GOBLINS THE MAIN CHARACTER IS ALSO CONFUSED AND THEYRE GONNA DO A BIG REVEAL AND EXPLANATION LATER IF YOU WOULD JUST FUCKING WAIT
