so, taylor swift’s “state of grace” (NOT taylor’s version) has to be my favorite song by her. i listen to it to calm myself down when i feel a panic attack coming on, and i listen to it when i need to be pumped up and feel like i could rule the world.

i just listened to the acoustic version of the song. i urge you to listen to it, too. listen to it laying on your bed in complete darkness and let the notes waft around you, carry you away to a place that’s happier or sadder or wherever you need to be. listen to it and think about everything beautiful you still have left to experience in your life and think about everyone who has made you who you are.

The authors of XKit Rewritten said during the experiments that at the time, since this was an "experiment" they weren't going to implement anything to revert to the old UI (although who knows if they'll do it now). And the dashboard unfucker has worked beautifully enough for me to where I genuinely couldn't tell if they had ended the experiment or not.

tbh the most valuable thing I'm learning as an adult is everything takes a whole lot of time. things cooking, stuff growing, people returning calls, habits forming, medications working, healing, aging, learning, all of it takes time, and lots of it. slowing yourself down and practicing patience is the one thing that helps you make peace with this. and learning that patience will take time
