My gameplan over the next week or so:

Establish a low-stakes queue (once a day, maybe twice)

Delete the vast majority of what's in the inbox (there are over SIX HUNDRED asks in there.) I'll keep the ones that have come in in the past couple days, and I'l probably throw some hidden/buried gems in the queue, but I need a clean slate.

As for how I'm doing...past 8 months: major personal and familial tragedy, major surgery, graduated with honors from my masters program, promoted at work, finally get back into running, run my best mile time in years (10 minutes, lol I never claimed to be fast but I've historically been a 11 - 12 min miler), injure Achilles tendon, finished writing a novel. I don't even know how to condense all that in one word/sentence. I usually say "fine, I guess," when anyone asks how i am nowadays but i think you guys deserve some semblance of an answer so there it is. 🙃 ]

So I have this scenario in my head where Nick brought Wade in to help with a mission so Steve being the leader he went with Nick to meet Wade in the lobby and as they're in the elevator heading to fill in the rest of the team wade started to get bored and kept messing with buttons and ends up breaking the elevator because he accidentally ripped off something. (Sorry for any typos).

Nick, to Steve: When we get up to the briefing room-

*Elevator stops short*

Steve: Why did the elevator stop?

Wade: *Hides button behind his back* uh, no idea. I mean, isn't this a you problem because it is your building...

Steve: What did you do, Wade?

Wade: Nothing...

Nick: Mr. Wilson, this has never happened before, and the first time it does, you're here, so start explaining.

Wade: ...

Wade: No.

Steve: No?

Nick: Excuse me? Wanna try again.

Wade: Want me to say it in Spanish?

Steve: No!

Wade: Exactly!

Nick: I swear if Tony doesn't get us out of here within the next two minutes, I'm gonna murder him.

Wade: Ha! Jokes on you patchy the pirate, I can't die.

Nick angrily walk towards Wade: What did you just call me, mother-

Steve, holding Nick back: Ok, ok. Let's just take a breather and wait for Tony. I'm sure J.A.R.V.I.S. will inform him of our whereabouts.

Wade: Yeah, listen to the hundred years old virgin and take a chill pill captain hook.

Steve, to Wade: Watch it, son.

Wade: Son-

Wade: *Dramatically gasps* daddy, is that you? You came back!

Nick: I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS BULLSHIT!

Nick: *Pushes Steve off him and starts choking Wade out*

Wade: *Gasping for breath* Ooo, kinky! I knew the eye patch was just for show.

Steve, trying to pull Nick off of Wade: Would you just shut up already! You're making it worse!

Nick: Your mama brought you into this world, but I'm gonna take you out!

Wade, still getting choked: Wait, so you're my dad?!

Wade: You lied to me Steve?!

Steve, done with everything: *Stops trying to help* you know what have fun.

*Five minutes later*

*Elevator doors open and Nick and Wade fall out of the doors*

Wade, biting Nick's arm: This could use some barbecue sauce *goes back to biting*

Nick: I'm gonna find a way to kill you!

Steve, leaning on the back of the elevator: *Watches them for a few more seconds then gets out*

Steve: *Points to Wade and Nick* that's not my problem anymore. Just let me know when they're done or who wins.

*Avengers watching what's going on*

Tony: So, uh... Guess the meeting didn't go well?

Wade, and Nick still fighting in the background: *Glass breaks*

Being a newbie to the Avengers Tower, working alongside the Avengers, you'd thought life would have been more exciting. But with the threat of HYDRA on the rise, the gang decided to keep you under the wraps, sticking you into the tower to be locked away. Upon one night, however, you snuck out on the guise of going out with a cousin that was visiting the city. You never expected to see daylight again... or harbor feelings for a certain masked criminal.

Favourite painter: changes often, right now probably Van Gogh, I've always liked his paintings but right now I especially like him because of the Doctor Who episode

Favourite writer: Terry Pratchett. that's an easy question, but if I was asked to pick a second favourite I'd be completely stumped 😅

Favourite band: Epica, but Within Temptation and Nightwish are way up there too

Favourite meal and drink: I think meal has to be bryndzovi haluski (I'm unable to spell that correctly, I just know how to say it) because it's something I've always made together with my dad, drink is more difficult... maybe elderflower cordial with a dash of lemon or lime juice

Favourite outfit aesthetic: from what I wear, cottagecore dresses, from what I don't - Victorian goth

Favourite singer: don't really have a favourite one, I like specific songs. if I have to choose maybe Halsey (or Billie Piper when I'm very deep in the Doctor Who hyperfixation :p )

Favourite item I own: Probably my motorbike, because it's so much fun to drive her (she even has a name - Maisie)

Favourite possession: seems very similar to item you own - maybe my childhood dog because I don't legally own him, not that I like thinking of him as a possession... other than him, my childhood teddy cause I've had him for so long

Favourite perfume: I’ve never worn any to be honest, they're all really strongly scented. but probably whichever one my sister wears

So I’m going to be completely honest, I did have a small Bucky Barnes phase… as well as a Mad Hatter phase… but my Mad Hatter phase has come back many times over the years. I just love the character… In all honesty I don’t know much about Sebastian Stan, but to me he seems more like Baby then Daddy…

But that’s only because what I have seen of him he seems more like a Simp rather then boom imma steel yo girl vibes, which is 100% ok because baby 🥺 is just as good a daddy 🥵. Neither is better then the other.

I can totally see Cap being all serious about this trying to figure out how Johnny got there and why he looks like him but younger, but he's also not that freaked out because he's done time travel and literally met his younger self so this isn't all that crazy for him, but definitely still a little concerning.

Johnny is definitely the type of person to look at Steve dead in the eyes and say something like “we're basically twins, but we all know I'm the better looking one.” (even though they both look alike!) with an obnoxiously cute but smug smile on his face.

I feel like Stephen and Peter also had something to do with this... Like, peter asked for a spell (of course without thinking it through....again) and it all went wrong and now poor Stephen is trying to figure out how it happened when Tony calls him up telling him he has some explaining to do and to hurry up because he already has a hard enough time with one around, now there's two of them? And ones a cocky, yet sweet sometimes, jerk?

Oh boy is Steve never gonna live down the fact that Johnny stole Caps uniform and pretended to be Cap and flirted with Natasha and Wanda. *Sigh* he also set Steve's uniform on fire while trying to test if the shield was flammable or not.

Poor Bucky is still confused as to why "Steve" looked younger when he walked in the training room to ask Steve if he's seen his new book that Wanda got for him *cough* Sam stole it and hid it somewhere in the kitchen *cough*

Finally after a very exhausting day, both physically and emotionally for Steve, everything was taken care of, fixed thanks Johnny, and Johnny was back where he belonged and Steve can finally relax. That is of course until he went to the bathroom just to see his uniform smoking and burnt hidden behind the toilet...

(So sorry this took so long @whatrambles ! I've been dealing with a lot of stress lately for a bunch of personal issues but I'm glad I finally got to it and I hope you're doing well 💜 Sorry for any typos)
