#when i learnt about stimming & emotional regulation. my childhood filled with squealing & kicking my legs made sense haha#and those memories became even sweeter to me. i was stimming! i was so happy that i could not contain it! i was a kid full of autistic joy!#love how as a kid it was for stuff like sleepovers or xmas or birthdays & now it's like. i was just thinking about The Things lol#or not even that sometimes i just get that rush of elation unprompted and have to release it#i think my squealing as a kid was exclusively egressive but now i switch between ingressive & egressive for squeaks. v fun#discovering/realising/exploring new stims my beloved#i think learning all the places & manners of articulation in phonetics rly upped my vocal stim game lol#stimming
