In regards to Seolho and the boss in killer crush- do you have any theories how it’s gonna play out? I’m rooting for them so hardcore and their inclusion in the story doesn’t feel all for nothing or just for laughs. I’m dyyying for more people to theorize and talk more how the boss may reciprocate his feelings!! After, what, 17 years?- boss either develops them quickly or always loved him (cause why else are they roommates!???)

I absolutely love them! My biggest going theory right now is that the boss is waiting for Seolho to actually confess his feelings sober. I feel like the boss does reciprocate his feelings and that he has only been rejecting Seolho’s feelings because he says them when he’s drunk to the point that he never remembers. However, their age gap and thier profession presents big problems. Problems that I kinda feel like the boss might not wanna work around. Tbh, I could see them never getting together. As of right now, because Seolho has never confessed while sober, the boss can act like it never happened and that it’s not a problem, so they can remain somewhat blissfully in love with and pinning after each other without having to deal with the problems that come with them being in love with each other. I think it’s a ‘mutual pinning, but our circumstances prevents us from ever being together, so we’ll just have to love each other in secret and from a distance because only problems await us if we want this to be real’ kind of romance plot

Death's Game: Webcomic vs. Drama

Spoilers below!

The last few manhwa's I've read I enjoyed the drama more, but this one was the reverse. I thought the webcomic was more enjoyable and probably had a better overall message.

The biggest difference was Death, she wasn't trying to punish the ML for his sins, she just was angry that he insulted her in his suicide note. That's it. She never tried to make him feel guilty she just laughed and shot him again. Which honestly, better than calling him selfish for being in such despair that he jumped off a building.

Second big difference: no mastermind evil CEO, though the painter serial killer (though he didn't paint) still existed. This made me happier because in the drama, I was left asking how they bring the CEO down in the end, but with this, it was just a serial killer and he was dying of a brain tumour anyway, so even if left alone his case will end.

Third: the main character's life was worse but also he was less pitiable. His girlfriend dumped him and was getting married 3 months later. He played video games a lot of the time and it was implied that part of the reason he didn't have a job was that his standards were too high.

Fourth: The girl that the model/coffee shop worker falls in love with is not the original girlfriend, it's a new girl. Still an author.

Fifth: and important to why I liked this better, when the ML was the serial killer, he sat down and wrote out all of his crimes so the families of the victims would know. I thought that was a very generous act (he threw up a lot) and one of the best things he did. I wish that was in the drama.

Sixth: he formed a more meaningful bond with the kid of his fellow detective (that life was about the same) and it made it ever sadder when he died. Which I liked.

Seventh: the child whose father he saved interviews him as his mom, that was really cool. She confirms that his story is probably true.

Eight: the baby life was not in the webcomic

Last: I wasn't left with a big ??? at the end. As himself, the ML could prevent/report some of the things that had happened in the manhwa, which I didn't think in the drama. Like how does Normal Joe ML take down that CEO without the power and connections he had as the detective? Can he save the baby? But in the manhwa, the ML could probably help, he could at least report the serial killer pretty easily, and he could prevent some other deaths. So I enjoyed that conclusion more.
