This is a long post but not a vent its the opposite of a vent ykwim like a long happy rant

I love you all so much.

Maybe I’m just all dramatic and emotional because I’m on my period, maybe because I’m writing this late at night and I’m gonna think it’s really cringe in the morning, but I love you guys so much. Tumblr has brought me so much joy. I’ve been here for maybe three or four months now? And I can’t really think of a time in my life where I was happier. 

I first made an account after scrolling aimlessly. I would go onto the tumblr website and it would let me search a bit until it was like “you need to make an account to keep going!!” And then I’d just close it and move on. But then one day I decided  hey what the heck just do it. So I made an account, and I didn’t really know what I was doing. I came up with this username because I liked conan gray, I gave myself  a daphne blake profile picture because she has red hair, and just kinda explored. 

I looked through tags of fandoms I love like the inheritance games and pjo and shatter me and even scythe (which was when i was then brought to the realization that the aoas fandom really is dead everywhere even here😔). But I just kinda explored.

Then I found all you guys, the cute aesthetic tumblrinas! And omg I thought everyone was so cool. Pretty much everyone I’m mutuals with now is someone who i found their blog and was like OMG I WANNA BE ONE OF THEM!! I loved the friendships and the connection and just seeing everyone interact made me so happy. I think one of the first people to follow me back was Belle and I remember I legit freaked out because omg!! Shes so cool!! 

Now that I’m telling the story it’s a little embarrassing, but it’s fine. I just know I was slowly growing my blog and meeting new people but I still didn’t feel like I had real friends, it hadn’t been that long. But I think it all kinda happened after I accidentally deleted my account, and I sent panic asks to everyone. And you guys were so nice and so sweet and for a lot of people it was some of the first interactions we had. 

I have the world’s worst memory, but it just kinda took off from there. 

And now I am friends with all you guys!! I’m so incredibly glad I decided to make this blog that day because omg. I’d seen people talk about online friends but I’d never had any. But now?? OMGG I UNDERSTAND!!! I finally have people who are just as obsessed with the books/tv/movies/music/everything that I am!! 

My friends IRL are nice, they’ve read the books I read, but I cant talk to them the way I do you guys, yknow? Tumblr is literally just such a safe space for me. I have a bad day, come online, and my mood is lifted. It makes me so happy and it also makes me feel so validated for whatever weird interests or feelings I have! I have a weird thought? Post it to tumblr! It’s just so amazing, how there’s people all over the world who care about me even a little, even just enough to like my shitposts. 

I’ve even infiltrated both the shatter me and tig roleplays, and I’ve really just done everything I could’ve hoped for when I joined tumblr. I used to be the one watching everyone interact, and now I am the one interacting! I don't think you guys understand how much you all mean to me. Especially as someone with bad social anxiety, who struggles with making friends irl. I also don’t believe in popularity in schools, thats stupid, but technically i’m not a “popular kid.” So I have friends, but not a billion. But here? Everyone is friends on tumblr!! It’s so amazing. I love you all so much. 

That’s long and honestly pretty sappy, also yall probably don't care about my whole tumblr history and how i got here (plus no one asked), but I felt like i wanted to share. There’s so much more I wanna say, but surprisingly enough as a writer, I’m not always the best at expressing my feelings over writing. My love language is physical touch, not words of affirmation. Which suckss cause i cant give you guys that. But this is as good as i can get. 

So thank you to everyone, my mutuals and followers and whatever. Thank you for being so loving. Thank you for being stupid with me. Thank you for listening to me rant about nonsense. Thank you for liking my posts. thank you for being here. Thank you for making me feel safe.

Cause every time I get a notification, I smile. It’s hard not to, when I know everyone is so amazing. middle (orange slices): theres this thing where you peel an orange for the people you love. you can look at it either way; draco providing food for harry, knowing his childhood food insecurity and always wanting to make sure he has something, or harry (whose love language is acts of service) giving something to draco, maybe after a long day

middle right (legs): in this theyre just chilling. dracos reading (the book didnt come across well ((i cant draw hands very well)).

right edge (flowers): these are narcissus flowers, also known as daffodils. a reference to narcissa malfoy, and also a reference i suppose to how she saved harry in the forest, because draco was alive, because harry saved him in the room of requirement

bottom left edge (flowers): these are lilies. partly to complete the circle of mothers saving sons saving the world, and partly because i wanted to fill space. (theyre fucking terrible to draw tho i do not recommend)

bottom left (hand in hair): well harrys hair is very luxurious as you can see and i imagine during cuddles draco cards his hand through it and teases out snarls and such. (i know hair pulling is something that can be seen as sexual, this isnt that and it isnt meant to be that and please dont see it as that :(

bottom middle: so this is a bit obscure but theres this post by @/iamnmbr3 that talks about a headcanon that they can share wands and its kind of special and intimate. so thats what ive depicted here. also for funsies harry has the draco constellation on his arm. not the big dipper. also i cant draw the dark mark for shit

bottom right (shoes): just a subtle way they can touch, not always big. just under the table or sitting on the sofa together, just to feel the other person there.

i knew i wanted a warm scheme and i knew i wanted orange and blue to play a big part in this. i was going to have warm colours on blue and cool colours on orange as a sort of contrast but that didnt end up working out.. the wand scene is an attempt at it except i mixed it up and made it cool on cool, its so washed out and i didnt bother to fix it

I saw your post about taking Felix requests so I had to send one and trust me the choke hold this man now has on me is so strong too! 

I see Felix as the kinda guy who is laid back but with his girl at Saltburn because she’s shy he’d be the one who would pick out her dresses for dinner, put his hand on her throat or up her skirt whenever he wants and even just to get her attention, always pulling her on his lap even if there is an open seat next to him, and maybe he’d make her call him daddy. Do with that info what you will if you like it 🤭

mhm, mhm, love me a popular boy and shy girly. he dazzles and she lets him; she holds the light for him, type shit! love it. got me salivating a little - or is that foam at my mouth? hm - for Felix, it's probably both.

you've got my motor running, there's a LOT of thoughts being thunk! so let's get into it!

kinda-sorta Felix Catton headcanons:

okay, first, him picking out her outfits? FUCKING ADORABLE!

he starts out by taking her shopping, it's just them and a store attendant; he's sitting in one of those little chairs, facing the dressing room, waiting for her to show him each option. she's a shy baby, so she's quiet when showing him, but Felix is boisterous and supportive, so he gets all up-in-arms for each dress, each pantsuit, each flowing skirt and tight top. you know, asks her to do 180's, to dance around (to make sure it all fits right), and he'll even get up and twirl her once or twice when he particularly likes an outfit. he has LOTS of opinions, so the attendant brings over whatever he points at since his girly often sticks to "safe" choices and he likes seeing her branch out. the attendant thinks they're just too cute, so the attendant is happy to do whatever Felix asks; happy to help zip her up or tie her into whatever dress he picks. it's a bonding experience each time, and because he's a rich pretty boy, he buys everything. is that a kink? it should be a kink. even that dress she's not convinced looks flattering - he's borderline drooling and slapping cash onto the counter, begging her to put it on the moment they get "home". naturally he carries all the bags.

when at Saltburn, he's the one picking their dinner fits 'cause he gets off by matching together - 'cause he's a soft angel baby, too. she does his hair for him and he'll wear a button up thats the same color as her dress; and boy, oh boy, does he lay the compliments on THICK. like - any opportunity, he's showering her, gushing over her, just RAVING. she's shy and a little quiet, but when Felix fucking Catton is genuinely complimenting her as if he can't help himself, it really helps boost her confidence and settles her nerves. Felix likes to push envelopes, so naturally, he pushes them with his pretty lady, too, and it might make her unsure, but again, the confidence boost calms her and she's really excited to see what the next fit is.

Felix doesn't have a specific love language because they're ALL his love languages. so, yes, that includes physical touch. he adores his shy little lady, and again, likes pushing envelopes - so, even in public, he's laying his hand on her throat. not in a grip, but in a soft gesture to keep her close to him; as if feeling her pulse reassures him. he's possessive as fuck, but in a soft way; so the Catton's aren't phased by his actions, despite the way it makes his little lady a little insecure. she's just not HUGE on PDA, but Felix is, and he doesn't do it if she's adamant - but seeing her a little nervous (eyes darting around to make sure nobody's watching) really gets him going. and no matter where they are, if she's in a dress or skirt, you better believe his hand is on her thigh! you better believe he's pushing her buttons by trying to reach higher! you better believe it makes her all flustered but wildly turned on - and Felix revels in her reactions. her little squeaks of surprise, the way she might choke on her wine when he squeezes unsuspectingly, the way her hand slaps down over his (her skirt's material between their hands) when he gets a little too handsy. he's a menace, but his shy little love adores it.

he makes her braver. he makes her want to try new things. he makes her excited and as if her energy's renewed.

Felix recharges her, burns her out, replenishes her, exhausts her. he does it all - being a Jack of All Trades. and she keeps him humble, in-line, on his toes, and feeling like everyday's an adventure.

matter of fact, they make each other feel as if they're on a new adventure each day. awh, i love them.

still on the PDA train, you're totally right, dear sweet Nonnie, and Felix loves her on his lap. he just loves having her close; it makes him feel all the more confident and yet, grounded and down-to-Earth. she toys with his hair at the nape of his neck, his arm's usually always tight around her waist; and because he's gangly, his arm wraps around to rest on her thigh. and guess what? it's up her skirt. they like cuddling, but Felix is way more open about it; he doesn't care what audience they have, he's just touching her. he likes whispering in her ear when she's on his lap, it makes her giggle and whisper back. there's constant compliments, discussions about what mischief to get into that evening, little jokes - mostly about Farleigh, knowing those two adorable fucks.

absolute cuties.

after dinners, when the family's socializing, he's tugging her to his lap despite the space on the couch being open. he won't do it at dinner, though, that's far too formal and his little love is dreadfully against it; but other meals? casual meals? yeah, the cheeky fuck's setting her to his lap - only releasing her when she gives him a kiss. however, some breakfasts spent on the terrace or patio, she's still a little sleepy and won't fight him too hard; resting back into his chest, letting him feed her a few cubes of fruit - much much much to Elspeth's delight.

Mama Catton's the biggest supporter of Felix and his little love. it's freaking adorable. Venetia's supporter #2 'cause she loves her brother being in-love, but Elspeth's just - over the freaking moon.

now, the daddy kink? i can see it. 1000%. he's not super in his lady's face about it, but when they're gettin' frisky, oh YEAH - baby boy's way into it. demanding she call him Daddy when he's balls deep already, he wants it panting from her lips. he wants to hear her call him Daddy like it's a dying prayer. this super extends into a breeding kink - but that's another story. dude just loves the power he feels when his shy little love begs Daddy to fuck her harder. to get rougher. to please her the way only Daddy can. and it's not that he "makes" her call him that, she's very very very much into it, too. look, IYKYK - daddy kinks aren't for everyone but FUCK, is it fun.

this also directly relates to pet names, which Felix is a BIG fan of. he's the type that only calls his shy little love by her name when he's being serious. and maaaan, for the first few weeks of their relationship, she was just too nervous to call him any pet name but when she starts small, you know, the simple "baby", or "love", or my personal favorite, "sweet boy", she sees the way he LIGHTS up and starts using pet names regularly. she'll only call him "Felix" when she's being serious, which is actually super helpful in their relationship because he's so playful, she's so shy, he doesn't always know when he's crossed a line. but the moment she's calling him "Felix" instead of "Fi" or anything else, he's shaping up. it's a subtle way he knows she's uncomfortable and he NEEDS to get serious - else risk upsetting her. which he NEVER wants to do. she's too pretty, too sweet, too soft spoken to be upset. calling him "Felix" is a telltale sign that things aren't okay, and it's just a way for him to know what's going on without actually asking, "what's wrong?" 'cause he's pretty in-tune to his own bullshit, so, he's usually pretty good about knowing what he does that pushes her a little too far.

i... i love them so much.

damn i HAVE to stop doing this to myself. i get all into these fictional men, and then, when i actually date around in real life, FUCK am i disappointed. i'd like a man written by a woman, please! God, when is it my turn!? 😂 i'd do anything at this point, good sir!

i honestly think that the qsmp is experiencing a quiet and slow death. like qsmp related stuff barely comes across my dash anymore (and i follow hundreds of mcyt blogs, back when things actually happened my entire dash would just be qsmp fanwork and liveblogging).

like sure the server is still open (not that i think it should be) but i barely see anyone talking about it anymore. the most i see is announcements for some new event thats supposed to revive the server and then i maybe see 3 or 4 posts about it the day of?

theres also way less new fanart being posted, the majority of the fanart i see is either a) shipping art that isnt set in any specific time (or is set during the peak ship era), b) art about one of the old events/plotlines, or c) pure egg art also with no specific time setting. there is relatively no fanart that is solely about the new events.

they keep trying to wave events in front of the jaded fans like "hey!!! new event! you want more events yeah? you guys used to love events :(" as if we dont see it as the distraction from their workplace abuse that it is

tbh i hate to see it happen but it’s what you get when you mix mistreatment of your workers with terrible pr management like….

first you have everyone who stopped supporting it when they learnt of the admin’s working conditions. already by this point, and because it’s been two months and no signs of betterment a big chunk of the fandom has dropped qsmp.

then you also lose people who were really attached to the eggs, especially if their favorite hasn’t came back or won’t come back at all.

and then you also lose people who were in for story and lore because they just learned that everything they had theorised about for months was for nothing because while the writers were trying their best the higher ups had no idea where the plot was going + ccs couldn’t be involved in the big storyline

and even if all of that wasn’t enough to make you leave, you might just drop it because your cc doesn’t log on anymore, or because the fandom is dying/dead (especially if you speak a language that massively left the project)

you say i can like a characters and acknowledge their flaws. Okey, did you acknowledge Kate and anthonies flaws???

What's y'all's obsession with Kate and Anthony? Genuinely asking here because some of the anons I've gotten have been saying absolutely vile things about Kate and Simone Ashley, which I refuse to post or give the time of day.

But anyways, I have been critical of Anthony before, particularly of how he handled the "love triangle" in season 2. I also hated his treatment of Sienna in season 1. I can acknowledge that his and Sienna's relationship was an important arc for his character, how ever much I hated his treatment of her. She deserved better. Additionally, a certain section of the fandom has to check their misogyny because the language used to talk about her is absolutely vile - and beyond hypocritical when compared to how the same people talk about Anthony.

Kate was mishandled by the writers. Full stop. The changes from the book were most detrimental to her and Edwina. I think Simone did amazing with what she was given, but they took out so much of Kate's development from the book. Most of my gripes with show!Kate are just frustration with writing decisions.

A lot of the writing decisions in general are just tone deaf. There's been a lot of rightful criticism on how the show has handled its bipoc representation. How Ruby Barker was treated in real life by netflix and the producers was disgusting. The way they've treated both her and her character has been vile. I hope to god her story in the show does not end the way it did in the books because that would be beyond horrific. If you're going to tell stories involving mental health issues, do so respectfully and responsibly. Otherwise, don't do it at all, because you're just doing more harm than good. Additionally, we've only had two minor queer characters for a show that prides itself on its representation. And those characters only appear in season 1. I'm not counting Brimsley because he only got proper characterization and arc in QC, and we have literally no clue where Reynolds is in the present timeline. And, while I enjoyed QC on the whole, the romanticization of Queen Victoria's birth as some sort of win for feminism took me out of the fantasy every single time. I'm not expecting the show to be historically accurate at all, the costuming confirmed to me that it wasn't trying to be back in season 1 and thats ok because its fantasy, but my god the way they include elements of real life history is beyond tone deaf.

Penelope herself was also mishandled by the writers. By making lady whistledown a far more active force in the show, they did not take into consideration what that would mean for her as a character. In the books, the Bridgertons react to the LW reveal like "oh OK, ride on Pen!" because LW hasn't been as destructive a force as she's been in the show. In the show, it makes no sense for them to react like that given what's been written about them and the impact that its had. LW, in the books, was far less harmful. By giving it a more active role in the story, they've unwittingly made her an antagonist because of the harm she's caused. Harm, I may add, that she's been mostly apathetic to. Show!Penelope needs a redemption arc, but she's probably not going to get one.

ok so when I was figuring out the world, I found this lecture on worldbuilding by Brandon Sanderson (go watch it, and also go read his books), and (im gonna paraphrase heavily here) one thing he mentioned is that, to make a memorable world, one thing you can do is pick a couple areas of culture, and go real deep with it. So like, pick fashion, and architecture, and interior design, and develop those a bunch, and bam! you convinced people you have a whole dang world, even though you only developed 3 areas of this world. hollow iceberg everyone thinks is a real iceberg.

he also mentioned the idea of like... getting weird with it? and develop based on a weird detail? for example, in his book The Stormlight Archives, one detail is that women have to hide their left hand at all times. ok, so what does that mean, whats taboo about a left hand? is the left hand shameful, or lewd somehow, the same way ankles were for us? what about fashion, what does women's fashion look like? and how do you live your every day life, knowing you can't show this hand, can you carry things the same way? etc

SO, for me, one of the Big Worldbuilding pillars i picked was, uh, swear words lol. or language and common expressions, more generally. i went on a whole journey where i was like... ok swear words in a LOT of languages (including french and english, both languages i speak fluently) are either sexual, or about gross bodily discharges. you know what words i mean!!!!!

and, well, i also didnt want the game to be full of those words, mostly because i think its a tightrope to use those words without seeming cringe, and also because i have a Core Memory of showing a comic to a colleague and she said "well i wouldve liked to show it to my kids, but you said fuck 12 times in there" and i didnt show my face to her for a week. family friendly family friendly family friendly

so what swear words should my characters use, that arent the same ones we use? and could those swear words actually tell us something about the world they live in? could i actually use those swear words... to show the characters come from different cultures???

and what COULD swear words be like, if theyre not about sex or body stuff? well irl they're usually about religions or belief. "oh god", "goddamnit", etc. as a sidenote, stuff like "oh my god" or "geez" arent used, because jesus christ is not canon to the ISAT universe. alright

i decided very early on i wouldnt have those in the game either, but i COULD have them be about the religions specific to this world. and for insults, i could have them be about stuff those beliefs would see as lesser.

anyway instead of talking about "gems alive" lets talk about "crab"

isabeau+mirabelle+bonnie use "crab" as a swear word because they follow a religion all around change, bettering yourself, evolving, and, the crab meme,

for those who dont get the joke, its about carcinisation, and about how a bunch of non-crab-like forms somehow evolved to a crab-like form. which would be horrible, for a religion all based around change!!! you mean we change and evolve, but theres a chance we might all become crabs??? CRAB!!!!!!!

anyway having "crab" kinda reads as 1. swear word 2. thats funny and weird (sets the tone) 3. tells you they know what crabs are (world not that different from ours, AND means they live close-ish to the coast, aka not land locked) and 4. crabs are somehow hated/feared, even if as the player you dont get why, it shows this country has its own culture (even if you dont get the crabs joke, which uuuh apparently doesnt work as well in countries that dont have this specific meme. WHATEVER!!!!)

(a few people came to me saying "heh, i get it, because crab and crap are very similar words" and um actually i did not think about that. crab is just a funny word on its own, and also i am a comedy genius without even trying)

anyway tldr: swear words as a worldbuilding tool. soon in theaters

•I think his love language is probably word of affirmation and quality time but William’s not restricted to just those two and will show you how much he loves you in a variety of forms.

•I feel like Liam would be against showing too much physical affection in public. It is the Victorian era after all and people would have a heart attack if a lady showed her ankles. But in general I think he’s a fairly affectionate lover. In public he would hold your hand and keep you close by him, maybe giving you a quick peck on the cheek or forehead but more commonly on the back of your hand as traces of pink blush rise to his cheeks, however he will tell you often how pretty, smart, funny etc. you are no matter who is around.

•in private, liam would be very affectionate to make up for his inability to do so in public without feeling incredibly flustered. Cuddling (god I hate using that word) would be fairly frequent and if you were out or vice versa, he’d give you a kiss on the lips and a hug when he or you returned . He’s a big hugger tbh but I’ll talk more about that later.

•he didn’t receive much affection as a child because it was mostly just him and louis and although he got a few hugs from friends in the orphanage but mostly from his little brother, Liam’s probably quite touch starved so if you do the bare minimum, it’ll have him on the verge of tears. In bed (get ur mind outta the gutter) he doesn’t mind being the big or little spoon but really just likes feeling the warmth of your body against his own cold one and hearing your steady heart beat.

b = beauty (what do they find most attractive and beautiful about their s/o, physically and otherwise?)

• honestly I think William won’t care too much about looks. He’s already seen how pretty privileged individuals get treated better i society and those who are deemed “ugly” get treated worse. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t value your beauty but rather that he thinks that looks fade and your inner beauty is more important.

•I think a romance with Liam would be a “he falls first and harder” + “love at first site”

•like when he first meets you as you feed a stray animal or teach an orphan or stand up to a corrupt noble, he’d see you as an almost angelic being and he would take that on throughout your relationship. He always sees such a brightness on your face whether your smiling or not. It’s like he can see beauty just radiating from your face.

•physically he sees your entire being as pretty but especially your face. It’s something liam has the pleasure of seeing everyday and sees no flaw in. He’s pretty hopelessly in love and I think thats adorable.

•I think bond, Jack, Fred, Albert and Moran can probably tell there’s something going on between the two of you even before you confess to each other. Bond and Moran and constantly teasing the two of you and calling you ‘lovebirds’. Albert also teases William in a big brother kind of way but never as much as Bonde or Moran do. It’s kind of obvious to him that William has a crush on you. Jack starts giving slightly unwanted tips to William on how to capture a woman’s heart too. Fred asks you out of curiosity if you’re in love with William to which you reply in a flustered state.

•Louis would be bit clueless the entire time but the thought had popped in his head once after wondering if anyone in the group was going to get married because he wanted to know if he could make a wedding cake 💀

•I don’t think there would be a particular ‘announcement’ really. You two could just say you were getting married one day and nobody would think much of it (I’m gonna just namedrop my mtp fanfic ‘false lovers’ and say it would be funny if the two of you were pretend married except you acted like you were an old married couple so nobody would even be surprised if you mentioned that you two were in love.) Louis would probably be the only person half surprised.

•in terms of their thoughts on your relationship, they’d all be glad that William would have someone he could always rely on. Louis would especially be happy because he trust you to take care of William and be by his side. They all like you a lot and think you’re a good match together.

•I almost forgot about Sherlock. If you were there with William while they met on the noahtic, he would deduce that you both like each other but get cut off by one of you, solidifying his assumptions even more. He refers to you as William’s wife even if you aren’t married just because he’s thinks he’s funny. If William ever confides in Sherlock about you, I think that would show to Sherlock who probably has no interest in love that the two of you truly do love each other.

•he’s incredibly gentle. Liam’s so soft spoken around you and has never ever yelled at you, even in arguments. If he’s upset with you, it’s probably with good reason or he’s stressed and can’t talk to anyone but even then he tells you maturely that he needs to be alone or needs comfort (even if he refuses to ask for help sometimes)

•every lingering touch is soft and calm. His “blood stained” hands are really soft and well taken care of. Sometimes to grasp your attention, he hold your hands in his and talks to you in the sweetest and most harmonious voice ever.

•If you’re on a mission together, he’ll try do most of the work because he doesn’t want you getting hurt but applauds you for every noble you stab and shoot. After each mission he’ll take you to the side and wipe any filthy blood of your pretty face and comfort you, telling you it’s all over and one day you won’t need to do any of this anymore

•he likes hugs but only in private, like I said earlier. There’s something really intimate about just holding someone in your arms and never wanting to let go.

He might hug you from behind in the morning while you brush your teeth or after a mission he’d kiss your forehead and hug you in his arms or have you sit on his lap and play with his hair while he’s finishing off marking papers for university. His hugs are soft and comforting whether it’s him spooning you in bed or wrapping his arms around your waist when he gets home from work.

•to be honest, I think if William really loved someone romantically, he’d have to have known them for a long time. He shows you that he loves you in other ways such as protecting you or getting you gifts or spending time with you.

•he doesn’t think he should wait too long to tell you he loves you because as your lover, it should be expected rather than a surprise but he’s not going to tell you he loves you straight away.

•I think Liam would say he loves you while he climbs into bed with you, thinking ours still asleep and just giving you a kiss on the cheek and whispering ‘I love you’ before he falls asleep except you were awake the entire time and whisper back an ‘I love you’

•I cant tell if he would get jealous fairly easily or not at all. I guess he’d be jealous but fairly silently.

•If someone’s flirting with you, he’ll get a bit more handsy until they realise they should leave. If they don’t leave after you tel them you already have someone he’ll start dropping a few more hints until he speaks up and tells them to leave. If you ask him later if he was jealous, he’d only reply with a smile and “any man would feel envious if some imbecile was flirting with his beautiful lover” and that’s the end of it. Unless the guy flirting with you ends up dead the following day for various other reasons expect this time he put a bit more effort into the kill.

•his kisses are passionate and soft. He’s not really a rough kisser and is more sensual. His lips are soft and well taken care of and he’s very very gentle

•Liam’s favourite places to kiss you would be your forehead, your cheeks, your neck, your hands and your lips. (But he doesn’t discriminate!!) Each place he kisses is for various reasons and imply different things.

If he has no reason to wake up early and let’s himself have a lie-in , which is quite rare, he’s going to be woken up by a kiss from you on the top of his head as you try to wake him up while he mutters ‘five more minutes’ and grabs you back into his arms.

•he’s not too fond of those really goofy nicknames like ‘snugglebug 🥺’ but he’s probably a more traditional guy. He doesn’t expect you to use any nicknames but if you do, he’d get very silently flustered.

•or maybe that time he got sick and could barely leave his bed (we all know this man is a major workaholic so he’s going to be upset about this to some degree) so you nursed him back to health and stayed by his side no matter how annoying or disgustingly ill he got (bro prolly still looks majestic even if he’s infected with a sickly virus)

•he’s pretty protective. Liam knows that multiple people would want to kidnap one of the people closest to the Lord of crime and use you against him. He also knows that once he gets outted as the Lord of crime, things are probably going to be difficult for you and you would totally be questioned about your involvement in the serial killings of nobles in England.

•he’s protective but not in a yandere way (unless I make a yandere alphabet and he is) or an abusive way. He respects that you are your own person and you can take care of yourself but if you’ve been gone for a good few hours (5+ hours is when he’d get a bit worried) and he doesn’t know where you are, that’s when his protective instinct kicks in and if anyone dares hurt you, they’re not going to make it home in one piece or without a few painful injuries.

•William can protect himself as much as you can but if he ever get out in a position where he doesn’t have a plan, he would be so grateful if you came to his rescue.

•like in that one manga chapter when he gets kidnapped, I can imagine his eyes lighting up when he see you enter the room and stab or shoot his captor even though he had a plan.

• Liam tries a lot. Sometimes he feels he doesn’t have enough time for you and he knows that when he does set up a date, he shouldn’t bail on you or make it low effort. He so a gentleman after all. On anniversaries or your birthday, he’ll make sure to make the whole day perfect, from getting you breakfast in bed to buying you expensive jewellery. He makes a note of all your favourite things so he knows what to do for you on dates

•William’s gifts are thoughtful and although he has a lot of money to spend on you, he also knows that simple things like a note in your pocket telling you to “have a lovely day :)” can bring a smile to your face too. If he sees flowers that he knows you like while he walks past the florist, he’ll bring them home for you. On bigger occasions such as birthdays, holidays or anniversaries, he puts alot of effort into finding out what the perfect gift for you would be. Sometimes he cant choose just one so expect William to hand you a gift bag full of gifts wrapped In Wrapping paper, all of varying sizes. Some may be boxes of pretty jewellery, others may be books. He also just likes buying you things even if it’s for no particular reason. Anything to show how much he loves you even in everyday tasks. He asks Louis to teach him how to make some of your favourite dishes so he can make them for you whenever or he’ll help you pick out outfits for parties (he thinks everything looks good on you so he may not be much of a help but he’s trying)

•he smokes. A lot.

•although it’s canon that he does it for the sake of self harm, Liam tries to avoid doing it around you after numerous scoldings from you that it’s not good for his health (bonus points if you have some experience in the medical field). You tell him how bad it is for his lungs all the time and it makes him feel a bit guilty so he doesn’t smoke within a 100m radius of you

•he also lacks proper self-care in terms of not getting enough sleep and forgetting to eat , which annoys both you and Louis

•although he loves you a lot, William is suicidal so he always has the lingering thought that he’s going to have to die to atone for his sins soon and can be quite distant toward the ‘end’ of your relationship in an effort to protect you from any mental and emotional harm he also sometimes gets scared you’ll leave him and he wouldn’t be able to take that which is why earlier on, he’d be very hesitant to even talk to you and panics when he realises he might have feelings for you

•but like a win is a win and I would do anything, no matter how strange, to even breathe the same air as this man

v = vanity (how concerned are they with their looks?)

•William isn’t one to care too much about beauty, as I said earlier, but he sees himself as inferior to you deep down. He knows he doesn’t deserve you no matter how many times you tell him that he is. He has the nickname ‘Angel’ for you because he sees himself as a demon, a devil while you are a benevolent Angel who would never stoop to his level. (William please see a therapist)

•William also thinks you are the better looking one in the relationship, but he isn’t really insecure about himself. He knows he’s conventionally attractive. Multiple women have thrown themselves at him or asked him out on a date, to which he would politely decline. He knows you’re being genuine when you run your fingers through his blond hair and calling him the ‘ most beautiful and pretty man in the universe ‘ (if I was with Liam I’d be doing the at all the time. Every time he does anything I’d just be calling him pretty because I’m madly in love with him) He still feels he needs to make a slight effort around you and can feel a little insecure if another man was flirting with you, but you have the decency to turn him down

His heart only has room for you and if you were to leave him or if he were to leave you, liam would feel lost and incomplete.

•we all know that William has a messed up sleep schedule. he stays awake late at night frequently only to randomly fall asleep during the day.

•like in that one scene in the anime when William fall asleep on a couch and bond is just confused. I just thought it’d be super cute if you would be sat beside him and his head lands on your thighs as quiet snores come out of his mouth.

•when you two eventually share a bedroom and a queen sized bed, William will make an effort to try and sleep next to you.

•I head-cannon that he can’t fall asleep on demand unless he sleeps beside you. I think he also likes hearing your voice just as he is about to sleep. It’s like a lullaby for him.

•at one point you just start carrying a blanket with you while you’re out with Liam just so if he falls asleep, he can’t get comfortable.

Oh my gosh okay I'm a little sleepy but I'm literally fixating on him right now so i'll answer this now! Are you inside my walls how did you know. uhh anyways

Hajime can sing really well and likes mostly rock music (Where Giants Fall having their lead singer be johnny yong bosch aka his dub voice actor changed my brain chemistry)

I really wanna know what in the world sakuramochi did to him. I got to know. why does he hate it so much. he's so silly. dude really has an entire story for his liked thing and disliked I need to know the expression he made when he had them for the first time what happened here why.

I really like the idea that post canon when he has heterochromia and people look at him he wonders if they're looking more at his (green? brownish? danganronpa eye colors when I catch you) normal eye or red eye.

I have a really weird love for his sprites like I really do not understand how to explain it I just really love them he looks so. he looks so hajime hinata. I really love them a lot. His front facing ones look really cute, why is his hair so wonky it's so silly. he looks basic but like there's this charm he has that still makes him special. he is the perfect balance and I adore him so much for that. This goes for his personality and appearance, he is the perfect balance for a protagonist. He is relatable, compelling, and his struggles feel real. Chishiya mostly won’t allow himself to dream about a future with you but the few moments he let his thoughts slip he thinks about you two leaving borderland together, welded together because of what you had to go trough and trying to settle down, living a life thats as normal as possible.

Chishiya isn’t very touchy so mostly the hugs will come from you. At first he was a bit shy about it and only stood there and let it happen. But with time he warmed up to it and now hugs you back.

I don’t really know how I would describe a hug from Chishiya. A soothing and protecting feeling I think.

He takes his time with these three words. He wants to tell you when you’re out of borderland or of one of you is about to die.

Not that you two don’t know about the feelings you have for each other but saying it out loud makes you completely acknowledge them. It would reveal the weakness you have for each other completely and would make you vulnerable.

I am also aware that someone's language can derive different meaning because it's so hard to decipher the tone while reading things as opposed to when someone speaks to you face to face. I would like to express this because I love the way you write and express yourself.

I hadnt actually been on Tumblr for a while because life has been hard lately but I have finally gotten some reprieve from real life so thought I would check it. You have been one of my favourite blogs so I of course read your stuff first. Now I would like to put my own cent for one of your posts. I read the one where you speak about how a lot of Jikook Tumblr blogs are Jimin biased. I actually completely disagree with you. And the only reason I disagree with you is because I am from the other side of Tumblr where most if not all the blog posts I follow for Jikook are JK biased pretending to be Jikook biased.

I have literally had so many of these people say to me that it's okay for JK to get all the company support because JK will ensure that JM gets the support he needs. What the fuck does that even mean? Like I get that they are okay with JK getting a lot of.suport and I am fine with that because who the fuck am I judge what they get and don't get. But to stop me from voicing my disappointment with the company because apparently noticing the blatant lack of support to Jimin's music and promotion is somehow anti JK. How does that even make sense when I am fully happy with JK and his achievement.

These set of people were pissed off at JM because he didn't make the time out of his busy schedule to come to JKs concert after his Budapest stint. Mind you these people were trying to tell me how it was uncool of JM not to attend his concert but these were the same people who then were okay with JK just watching JMs content from his own home. Mind you, when I called them out on their double standard, their response was passive aggressive as fuck. Like yes it cute that JK was watching JMs stuff but also he was in Korea most of the time. Why did he not attend a lot of Jimins promotional stuff? The car scene of AYS further reiterated the fact that JK was free and had a lot of time when JM was busy as fuck but why isn't he expect to go and physically visit him? How is Jimin expected to be on everyone's stuff but Jimin can't be expected to have the same.

I think what I am trying to say is that the double standards are stupid as fuck but super gross when it comes to Jikook. I have only seen side where the way they treat JM is kinda gross but I am glad that you are part of the other side so I can see that they are all immature and there is no winning them.

I really really like that long post you did about making art. especially: 'i have somehow convinced myself that, if i maybe try a little bit, not exceptionally hard, but only a little bit, maybe i will somehow magically be good enough and worthy of critical praise.'

I spend all my time thinking about the beautiful or ""groundbreaking"" things I would make but no time actually doing it. and then when I attempt to create something the actual discomfort of physically drawing, writing or even coding is so unlike the idealised version in my brain that I have to stop because it is so frustrating. I wish I could be the sort of person who decides to spend hours upon hours perfecting a craft. but I just cant. weirdly I've come to terms with it. theres a whole world of art that exists just for me in my head. maybe one day ill be able to translate it into reality. but for now, im just going to be happy with the dual presence of my shitty real art and my lovely art thats just for me.

we should have a word for the terminal need for validation but lack of any and all discipline ... seems like a relatively new phenomena. i'm considering the strong possibility that it's a widespread result as the death of the "hobby"... however many years ago i imagine it was normal to just do something for yourself, because you love doing it. in fact i see a lot of my friends parents still doing stuff such as this.

i have a lot of friends whose dads make eps and albums for fun. for them only. no wishing on a star for it to blow up overnight. none of that. security in the quality of it. security in how far it probably won't reach. now that security, of course, could just come with age. but i suspect there's a generational parasite.

we were all raised with Numbers. the follower count, the like count, these are burned into our psyche. a neurosis coiled tightly around an objective metric of validation. a handful of years ago such a neurosis couldn't even exist! and it especially couldn't exist in a matter of seconds or minutes. your value as a person is a pair of dice that you roll and you snatch them back the moment you see snake eyes. almost all of the amateur art, music, writing we are exposed to has a number right under it. you don't get to evaluate it yourself. there is immediately a pavlovian connection, i like this thing, this thing has this number attached to it, if i can get a number like that i'm worthy of coexisting with this thing.

there's an almost instant dissociation between the craft, the skill, the time, and the FRUIT. what you get back. we are almost trained to care more about how popular something is than how good it is. not like, hollywood productions, or Columbia Records' chart topping album by a thirty something with A&R parents, but how popular someone just like you is on the internet. a plausible professional with a twitter account who draws whatever they want. someone you could relate to. someone you could be.

but because you want the numbers you skip the learning... you make something and put it out. and you keep doing this. your learning is public, your honing of the craft is documented before an audience of hopefully thousands. and you see what they respond to. and their responses steer the direction of your learning. you never have an opportunity to make something shitty. make something no one likes. experiment. you just keep feeding the computer. and it works until the point where you want to do something else, or something real, or something better, or something serious, and realize you don't know how. and you're like Fuck Shit why did I hustle instead of learning in peace.

but of course this is all by design. the numbers can't teach themselves more numbers if you doodle in your sketchbook and don't show anyone. i'm not sure if it was ever a specific person's idea to make everyone's entire life a performance, but whoever engineered it did a damn fine job. takes a sledgehammer to break out of. oh well ! in a few generations i'm sure all of our skin will have glare dampeners evolved specifically to vlog better with. and everyone will have forgotten what it's like to do something in your room, by yourself, because you like to do it

Something you posted a while back has really stayed with me and i cant stop thinking about it. Its the idea that most people have this idea that Paul can't say no? Like i don't believe it but in the case the small chance that he did say 'no i don't like you like that' to John in India so many people have this idea that he's totally in the wrong for that? that he had to say yes and its so strange to me? and its actually so upsetting tbh and that's me not me being a no.1 Paul fan that twink deserves death more often than not or to be put in his place even now as an old bingo granny, id take the thickener out of his soup if i could but i really think it relates back to a lot of the feminisation/misogynistic attention he gets. Paul is allowed to say no? hes very much allowed to not want a relationship? he's allowed to reject it and again its a roundabout way of misogyny with the idea when a woman rejects someone oh she'll be sorry because he'll spend the rest of his time saying mean things about her to everyone who will listen, and just how much she's in the wrong for not wanting/liking them like that, how she is such a bad person because she made him sink that low and do something he later 'regrets'. It's just really strange and sad to me cause again i don't think thats what happened but it the reaction that John was allowed to scream and be angry about it, he was allowed to write piece after piece especially 71 John he was allowed to be angry (and he was yeah) but Paul is never really allowed that same treatment? and even now he gets the treatment of ex-wife who really broke his now dead husbands heart and has to spend the rest of his life 'fixing' that. You can even see it a bit with the way they talk about George and Pauls relationship too the way they use constant femanising language in a derogatory way (bossy, irrational, controlling) to show just how much Paul isn't allowed to be angry and upset the same way they are he has to deal with it

i mean i don't think there was any rejection in india to speak of so this is purely hypothetical nonsense to me anyway, but yeah, i do think it's a silly way to look at it.

i think there's an argument to made like: john and paul's relationship had this weird romantic element to it already, and paul saying no is him kind of leading john on but refusing to ackowledge the truth of what they are - which would be frustrating from john's pov, i get that. the thing about that is that it's not something anyone on tumblr.com/dashboard actually knows for a fact, it's just emotional conjecture a bunch of people decided to project on. which is why the whole paul rejection theory irritates me so much. like yeah! he actually can say no, if that is what he felt! he's not required to be in love with john just because we all want him to be! (not to mention, that if there was a situation where he did reject john, i do not think that's the kind of thing he'd do lightly and without guilt, regardless of any added guilt john would make him feel by being mad about it). it's just a very unkind and reductive way to look at the very real love that DID exist between them, romantic or not. they cared about each other so much. it would be a cruel way for john to treat paul, and it's a cruel way to read into paul's treatment of john.

and i think the other side of it is that a lot of paul's sense of anger and his own feelings of rejection during that whole mess gets overshadowed in the john/paul/yoko triangle. paul was quieter about his anger because john already chose to be with yoko and he didn't feel he had a right to fight that. and the fandom cannot talk about it because half the time it's tied up in the very real mysogyny yoko faced as the face of The Thing That Broke Up The Beatles (even if she isn't), so paul's anger just kind of goes unacknowledged here in relation to john's.

Okay I'm really really sorry if this is all answered by your posts (I really want to read them but my head is Not Well Today so I promise I'll read them and comment later) but 3, 4 and 10 for Vlorindul and Nrolin Nylyradon

None of these are answered by my posts, and I get not being in the write place to read them (after all I did I am no longer in the right place to write them, or in the right place to finish the poem I was writing them for). The posts mostly only talk about the characters during the time of Blonicku, not before or after that and mostly about their role in that kingdom.

Slight backstory, all the Elders were created at almost the same time by the Nuthri (I've switched suffixes to be prefixes now for almost everything, so thats the thrinnu now. I did this for poetry reasons.) and they were created right next to each other, otherwise alone. Also, I made up almost every response here because of your ask, I didn't have it already made.

Also, it's Nulyradon, but given I wrote Nylyradon in the post you probably saw as a typo I get it lol. Nulyradon is just Lyradonnu, I moved the nu. (These two are Liam Nulyradon's grandparents, for reference).

3: What were their first impressions of each other? How does that compare to their impressions of each other now?

Both of their first impressions were a mixture of curiosity and fear, but to be fair that was their impression of everything. They would eventually begin speaking to each other telepathically (spoken language hasn't been invented yet) and decide to explore together, but their first impressions of each other from that would be Nyrolin thinking that Vlorindul is too cowardly and quiet (or the mental equivalent) yet she kind of finds it charming for some reason. Remember though that they were littererly born twenty minutes ago by this point, so neither would have the emotional intelligence to understand the charming part lol.

Vlorindul would think she is far braver than he is, willing to explore more and faster, but in reality he is just more cautious- he is willing, he just wants to prepare. He won't understand that about himself yet however, instead deciding to try and force himself to follow her example.

Both of them find the other hot, but they DEFINITELY would not yet understand that instinct just yet. (Remember, Elders were born naked just as babies are)

4: How would they describe each other if asked? Physically? In personality?

This one is going to take a fucking WHILE so I am going to leave the "in personality" for a later reblog, I have little brain left (I wrote 11 and a half lines of poetry in the last six hours along with all those posts, I am fucking drained)

Physically, Nrolin would describe Vlorindul as tall, broad shouldered by Numen standards (still slim by numorn standards), with shorter fur along his extremeties and very thick fluffier fur along his abdomen and head. The fur is very light grey, except for a few lines along his waist and chest where it turns white and a few along his hips of much darker fur. She would do this in a very textbook impartial manner as I have done, as her real answer would be very complimentary, and she blushes very easy. If asked by someone she'd be willing to answer (not a lot of people) she would talk about how those lines of darker fur highlight his features and how comfortable the softer part of his fur is, how the shorter fur along his limbs highlight muscles, and idk what else idk how to describe someone in a way that's meant to be attractive. (I need to write more prose, I'd like to be better at that, but in poetry all i have to say is "beautiful" and be done since I don't write love poems so I'm not good at it lol)

Vlorindul: "She's broad shouldered (he refuses to accept evidence from hundreds of other Numorn he has met that she is actually only slightly above average, by Numen standards she has very broad shoulders) her bright red hair reaches down just below the shoulder blade accentuates her back and shoulders, and her eyes almost glow when she smiles. Vlorindul is far more willing to talk about things, for all the talk about her being braver than him lol. Also! Practice! Wrote good compliments! Yes!

10: What is one major difference between them?

Neither of them are shy at all, it's just that Vlorindul is quieter than she is. He still talks to people, he is glad to meet people, but he is very quiet when he does, while she is extremely talkative at pretty much all times. If they both meet someone new, that person is likely to get a solid 10 sentences out of him in a 5 minute window while getting at least 40 out of her. It makes for a stark contrast, him being interpreted as an extreme introvert while she is as an extreme extrovert.
