*collapses from the void with a thought that I may have rambled about before*
You know the idea of Right being with the Government and eventually getting disillusioned with their ideals (and maybe a certain possum twink as well) and leaves to join the Toppats?
May I present the idea of Reginald being formally in the Government?
Maybe he was still pretty low in the ranks despite being hard working (maybe add on Galeforce or Canterbury just telling Reg that the hard work would eventually pay off, many many years later) and after some run ins with some Toppats (and maybe a certain red head) he decides to jump ship.
Or Government spy Reginald who was sent to keep an eye on the Toppats and sees things from their side and decides to join them for real.
Bonus idea of it being a dual spy mission with Terrence but Reginald decides to turn sides and soon has a duel with Terrence to dethrone him or kill him to keep his Government spy secret safe. (And maybe guilt on the damage that was done on purpose by Terrence and their mission)
Either way, the Government would be pissed and maybe a reason a certain Galeforce wants to take the Toppats down and have Reginald arrested.

Phil Hargreeves Headcanons;
Tumblr media
He's the tallest member of the Phoenix Academy and the first to go through puberty.
He's a pyromaniac but no one can prove it.
Phil argues with Reginald about shaving his beard daily because he refuses to shave it and Reginald demands he does so.
Isn't a people person but is good at reading them.
Is very much a 'Fight (or intimidate) first, ask questions later' type of guy.
Phil can't handle spicy food at all but absolutely loves sour foods and snacks.
Hates the color yellow.
Gets along best with Luther and Fei abd does not take any criticism toward the two of them lightly.
Phil is exasperated (though amused) by Klaus, and is very protective of him because he knows what it's like to be afraid of his own powers.
He also butts heads with Diego a lot because of Diego's volatile relationship with Luther.
He also butts heads with Alphonso but for different reasons. Though he loves all of his siblings.
Assuming Carla from the comics is the seventh member of this academy, he gets along with her as well. Though he'd likely get along with any of the other possible candidates for the seventh member as well (more or less).
He has pyrokinesis.
Phil is number three in this timeline.
Phil leaves the academy when Luther does because he's loyal to a fault (which while later than the other siblings in every universe, is relatively early in this one).
Phil's a cat person and was Luther's best friend growing up.
He and Luther both share the dream of going to space.
Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on who you ask) neither of them go to space here and Phil goes on to become a fire fighter (ironically).
Phil Hargreeves is a sleepwalker and has almost burnt the house down while doing so on more than one occasion.
He also had an emp phase.
Has a stash of 'contraband' (aka kid stuff and a phone) hidden under his bed so that Reginald can't take them away.
Phil Hargreeves is very good at using chopsticks.
He's dyslexic.
Once nearly choked to death on marshmallows doing the chubby bunny challenge because Diego challenged him (Diego also nearly choked to death).
When he and the siblings were thirteen they started sneaking out to the movies (because Klaus really wanted to see Treasure Planet and several other movies). Now Phil loves Disney movies (even if he refuses to admit it sometimes lol).
Scared the crap out of his driving instructor because he didn't study for how to drive stick.
Didn't really like Reginald but put up with him mainly for Luther.
Gets along with Diego the best when they have to get Klaus out of trouble.
Has ended up on the wrong side of Diego and Alphonso's powers more than once (and occasionally on the wrong side of Luther's powers since he spends the most time with him).
Is Luther's wing man (they are both terrible at flirting and it is by pure miracle they meet someone who thinks Luther's horrible flirting is cute. Aka this world's version of Sloane).
He also likes horror movies but never watches them with Klaus because he knows Klaus doesn't like them (usually because they're inaccurate but also because they scare him sometimes).
Phil likes a wide variety of music.
Got arrested once because he burned a guy who kicked a dog but got left off because there was no proof.

BIOGRAPHY
A polymath in a number of skills, Thomas Wyatt (the poet) was always a wonder in a flock of English men. His story is long and detailed, with many complex sudden turns that lead the man into worlds previously unknown. From a family originally from the wilds of Yorkshire that were quickly named black sheeps after their deflection to the Lancastrian side in the War of the Roses, Thomas Wyatt was meant to be unsuspecting, to be normal.
Henry Wyatt, who had been earlier imprisoned and tortured by Rihard III, had been a Privy Councillor of Henry VII and remained a trusted adviser when Henry VIII ascended to the throne in 1509. Married to Anne Skinner, the daughter of John Skinner of Surrey, they welcomed Thomas in 1503 but were cursed with a stillborn son only a few years later, a sadness that plagued the family until the birth of their last child, Margaret. Whilst his childhood was peaceful at best, he nurtured an artistic personality. He’d often brood over life’s most important questions, swoon over the ladies in his life and spent many hours taken to his bed writing poems that would be the starting point of what was to become his published works.
It was at thirteen years old when everything changed for the young lad, whilst following his father to the court of Henry VIII, he caught the eye of many courtiers with his love for the arts, leading the King to bestow upon Thomas the role of a “Sewer Extraordinary”, which meant he waited the King’s table. Court itself influenced the boy to adopt a way of speaking that frequented the royal household and ultimately left him to observe the many goings on of romance, foreign ambassadors and the ladies in waiting who very obviously caught his eye. He remained there until 1518, where he was enrolled into a prestigious Cambridge University. Though school was a good and fulfilling experience, Thomas often yearned for what was to come - for the glory of court and the King who seemed benevolent and a master one would do anything for. But it was there, in the final years of his Bachelor’s degree ,that Thomas fell hopelessly in love with Elizabeth Brooke, the daughter of Baron Cobham, Thomas Brooke, and Dorothy Heydon, daughter of Sir Henry Heydon.
This so-called love soon manifested itself into spite once the usual honeymoon phase burnt itself out. By the time Thomas grew bored with his wife, Elizabeth had given him a son named after his father - but that was not to fix the marriage. With both partners growing dispatched, especially with Thomas’ new position at court as a diplomatic ambassador for England, they both fell into the realm of adultery. Both furiously unhappy, they two separated from one another on the grounds of adultery, leaving them scandalised but not unsuccessful. Where his career triumphed, she remarried and had her second set of sons, but she mostly cared for her firstborn, leaving the first Thomas separated from his firstborn son.
Whilst travelling Europe with a keen eye, he divulged himself with poetry, art and music. INfluenced by Italian, Spanish and German couplets, Thomas would send work back to the King and his court for evaluation and eventual praise. Nurturing a love for various stanza forms (rondeau, epigrams, terza rima & ottava rima), Thomas’ fame grew steadily along with his various conquests. Whilst he wrote poems for many women he admired, none stuck so heavily as the one that fell on Anne Boleyn’s doorstep.
And now I follow the
 coals that be quent,
From Dover to Calais
against my mind.
//
Graven in diamonds with letters plain,
There is written her fair neck round about,
“Noli me tangere [Do not touch me], Caesar’s, I am.”
It was this poem that the Seymour Loyalists strove to use against Thomas Wyatt and Anne Boleyn, and which caused his first bout in the Tower of London for a mere few months by lay of Thomas Cromwell and Boleyn herself. Released without charge, Thomas sought life by the horns, writing many poems that strung on heartstrings - eventually finding peace in the arms of Elizabeth Darrell, who was Catherine of Aragon’s former maid of honour. This love affair, still strained by adultery, resulted in three illegitimate sons and finally forced Thomas to finalize a divorce with the help of the King between himself and his first wife.
Many things occurred between these times set in stone including hostage situations, audiences with the Pope and many, many women due to his youthful complexion. But time had done its work on Thomas Wyatt, who was once the most handsome of his kind. By 1549, after the death of Elizabeth Darrell and finally of Elizabeth Brooke, Thomas Wyatt returned to court revigorated with a new lease of life. For ten years he continued on with spirit, offering discourse to the aging king and then to the son upon the succession as a gilded Earl. But, mostly, he found himself tied amongst the old love of the ever-bewitching Anne Boleyn, and though he would've been quite happy to ponder his years among the great splendour of court, he found himself suddenly intertwined into a marriage once thought untouched or unthought off. Anne was his, but at what cost? Now a step-father to the King and the Princess, Thomas finds himself both safe and entirely at sea.

Hello hello! Favorite Toppat Leader headcanons? :)
Oooh, lemme think...
RHM and Sven both lack right hands of their own, but for completely different reasons. RHM feels that he is The Right Hand Man first and foremost (much of it is denial about losing Reginald), and as such having a right hand of his own doesn't feel right to him, even if he does think them a fit successor. Sven feels that no one is competent enough to be worth promoting to such a position.
The only reason Terrence ran for more than a year is because of his charisma. It wasn't until near the end of his run that more than just a couple of people connected the several recent misfortunes with his reckless behavior. The incident being a failed raid that resulted in Reginald, Terrence's Right Hand Man, being arrested and Terrence not noticing until after leaving.
The Airship era of Toppat leaders (from T.R.N.K. to present*) is notable for its incredibly brief leaderships, all of which have run for a maximum of 5 years. (*The present leader as of the end of CtM varies, as does their runtime as leader. However, all of the possible leaders except for Ellie have at least one timeline in which they lose leadership.)
The orbital station plan was originally drafted by Reginald in his free time during Wilford's era, with details being worked out during his own leadership.
Speaking of the orbital station plan, getting his Right Hand Man to agree to the idea was... a hassle. He liked life on the Airship just fine, and he HATES having his routine messed with. That said, he knew how important it was to Reginald, so he made sure the plan was followed through even with Reginald gone.
And now for some random statistics!
Most recent Toppat Leader order is Jaques, Dusty, Cloudface, Randy, Reynaldo, 3 unknown leaders after that, followed by T.R.N.K., Billy G., Wilford, Terrence, and then Reginald (+ whoever came after). However, these are not the only leaders; there are multiple leaders from before Jaques' era, indicated by the brief glimpses we get of the Toppat Gallery showing some black and white portraits.
Dusty is the second longest-running leader, being appointed at a fresh 27 years old and running until he died at 109 years old (running for 82 years total). The longest-running leader is Jaques, who ran for 214 years before being trapped in a painting portal for the rest of eternity.
The record for shortest leadership goes to T.R.N.K., who only ran for a mere 4 days before turning on the scientists who revived him. (Second shortest goes to Terrence, who ran for just under 2 years.)
The youngest leader is Reginald, first becoming leader at only 21 years old (which is the youngest a Toppat can become leader, as enforced by the early Toppat leaders). Yes, this has impacted his mental state.
Reginald ran the Toppat Clan for about 2-3 years before Henry showed up. Yes, this does mean that as of ItA Reginald is only 24 (probably ~26 by CtM. There is not a single person who has met him after his being appointed leader who HASN'T been surprised to learn how young he is.

Katelin McGreggor | Katelin Hargreeves
“I want to have it all - and I can.”
Alias’: Duplikate (umbrella timeline), Kate (umbrella timeline) the Hive (sparrow timeline), number ___
Age: 27
Relatives: father, mother +, sir reginald hargreeves (in the sparrow timeline), the other sparrow children (sparrow timeline)
Powers/Abilities: Replication, Same-State (clones heal/reflect the state of the original), Touch Dissipation (clones memories, mental state, etc. can be absorbed into another clone or into the original and the other clone will disappear with a single intentioned touch), Skilled Combat, Gymnastics (umbrella timeline)
Umbrella Timeline:
Duplikate is a notorious supervillain, famous for being one of the Umbrella’s nemesis’. As a master bank-robber, she is famous for eluding capture and imprisonment. Her powers make it nearly impossible to truly stop her, as one can be captured and another can complete a heist the next day. All her clones are also somewhat immortal/invulnerable, as they retain the state the original is in. They are also impervious to any of the Umbrella’s powers, as long as the original is unaffected. When captured, she either frees herself, or argues in court that her powers do not exist, the person doing the robberys are not her, or that the court does not arrest a pair of twins when one commits a crime - and that it is impossible to prove she was the duplicate that actually did commit the crime. She is also famous for never actually killing anyone in her career as a supervillain, which leads to various opinions of her among the Hargreeves siblings.
Early in her encounters with the Umbrella Academy, she encounters Klaus. He witnesses her subdue the guards instead of killing them, and asks her why. She informs him that she’s, “Just here for the money” and adds that the banks are insured anyways. After hesitating to fight him, Klaus notices an unhealed cut on her arm (signaling that she is the original) and lets her get away. This leads to years of a secret friendship (and somewhat romantic relationship) between the two of them, until they are sixteen and Duplikate pays her respects to the Umbrella Academy after Ben’s death. Afterwards, Reginald questions Klaus and he lies, stating that he’s been friends with her so he can one day capture the original. Reginald encourages him to complete his mission, and Klaus stalls having to do so by claiming he would only have one shot. Klaus tells Duplikate of his fathers plan, and the two of them now have a friendship that his family is aware of.
After a few years, Katelin surprises Klaus with the news that she wishes to surrender. She no longer wishes to be a criminal, and now wishes to “pay her bill”. She plans to surrender and to have Klaus being the one to take the credit, saying that if he doesn’t she’ll still surrender anyways. After her surrender, Klaus and Katelin keep contact and Klaus visits her in the high-security facility she’s kept in. It’s inferred that certain siblings are aware that Klaus didn’t betray her or complete a long-winded stint, as the newspapers and official story claims.
Sparrow Timeline:
Katelin is one of the eight adopted children by Reginald Hargreeves. She uses her powers to aid on missions, but to also be the family's own personal assistant. Her clones take care of the house, run errands, and basically do whatever she can to try to please her father figure.
The Umbrella Academy originally reacts to her in a sense of alarm (with the exception of Klaus), but quickly learns that this version of Katelin is not the same as theirs. Including a difference in style, she has a severe difference in personality. Kate was known for being a snarky, angry, confident, annoyingly clever punk, while Katelin is shy, insecure, eager to please, and a reserved romance reader. Klaus is shocked by the change of his long-time friend, and Katelin is more than willing to hear his stories about this other version of herself.
Through his stories, it's implied that she was the one that introduced Klaus to experimenting with drugs and alcohol with the line, "You were my first kiss- my first a lot of things." And it's also implied that the relationship between them was not entirely healthy, and that Kates surrender comes from her watching Klaus' cycle of addiction as a way to deal with her guilt. Even so, Klaus keeps a high opinion of her, claiming her as his best friend. As he becomes closer to Katelin, it seems that they've switched roles - with Klaus being the bad influence on Katelin instead of Kate being the bad influence on Klaus
Luther, Diego and Five fear that Katelin may be the start of the next apocalypse after Klaus uncovers certain similarities to her old self. They worry about her true nature and if she may be a new version of Vanya

Is it crazy that I love “The Day That Was” more than “The Day That Wasn’t?” “The Day That Wasn’t” gave us a lot of things that felt good!  But “The Day That Was” gave us the good stuff.  It gave us what the characters needed rather than what they wanted.
Luther found out he’d wasted his life in his father’s service, and the only person he was really close to was Allison.  In “Wasn’t,” he talked with Allison, felt better, and danced with her. In “Was,” the person he connects with is the sibling he’s had the fewest number of bonding experiences with so far in the season, showing him starting to branch out socially.  Instead of his pain getting smoothed over and pushed down, he is made to feel all of it, then make regrettable decisions that will force him to acknowledge he is not okay and it is because of his father.  It is to Klaus, not Allison, that he finally admits his disfigurement was something horrific that his father did to him.
Diego is obsessed with avenging Patch.  In “Wasn’t,” he was gently peeled away from this mission to help Klaus, but that only postponed the problem.  In “Was,” he was faced with the consequences of his actions, including the ones that led to Patch’s death.  The mission to save the world became more important, to the point where he let himself be arrested and let Allison take over.  That it gave him the excuse to bond with the siblings he’d done the least amount of bonding with at that point is nice, too.
Allison is ready to abandon the mission to see Claire again.  In “Wasn’t,” she left to go do that, with Luther at her side.  In “Was,” she was the only one who managed to continue the mission (as Five was wounded and Diego was arrested), to the point of doing it alone.  Rather than giving up when they stopped having the “full force of the Umbrella Academy,” she kept going despite having no backup.  She was always going to have to take care of things closer to home before seeing Claire again, and that’s what happened here.
Klaus is getting sober so he can summon Dave.  In “Wasn’t,” he managed to do so.  In “Was,” he happened to be the only person who was there to comfort Luther, which finally opened him up and tapped into a well of empathy he’d had covered up for years.  Rather than Dave, he spoke to Reginald, becoming the first sibling to gain any sort of closure with their father, and was able to further the mission and see himself as useful to his family for the first time.
Ben isn’t really in “Wasn’t,” but he could well be the exception to all of this, depending on why he walked out when Klaus got Diego’s help to get clean. We don’t get a lot of insight into Ben in season one, but I do know he’s being extra codependent in “Was,” as he’s trying to save Klaus and Luther at the same time when both will likely be fine without his intervention and both are definitely put in greater danger because of said intervention.  It’s possible what Ben needed happened in “Wasn’t,” which was really him having a break and not being needed for a while.  It could have given him some perspective.
Vanya is beginning to discover her powers.  In “Wasn’t,” presumably she was on the path that led to the first apocalypse—the one that happened without Five’s interventions.  The timeline that happens in “Was” means she causes more destruction and suffering before the apocalypse, including killing those three men and slashing Allison’s throat.  The guilt she has to live with from it is what makes her see Leonard for who he is, and informs how she processes the events of season one in the future.

TUA Star Trek AU
The Hargreeves kids are officers on the U.S.S Umbra, formerly Captained by Reginald Hargreeves, now Captained by no one (they may have mutinied, just a little bit, as a treat)
Chief Engineer Luther, who Reginald had some Alien DNA permanently transplanted from Pogo w/o his consent. Luther was groomed by Reginald for many years to be his First Officer someday (he was 2nd Officer before), but after the mutiny he took up the job of Chief Engineer and is much happier there
Chief of Security Diego. Enough said.
Communications Officer Allison! She speaks tons of languages and is probably the only thing keeping them from being shot down on a daily basis with her mad diplomacy skills
Navigator!Klaus. Klaus is so incredibly bad at directions, its a miracle that they've only gotten lost 17 times (and counting). No, but Reginald only put him there originally so he could keep an eye on him (and criticize him anytime they went off course)
Science Officer Five. Five got sucked into a temporal rift inside a nebula on a Science mission once, and came out three days later saying he was 58 now, but happened to look 13. Apparently he got sucked into a parallel universe and doesn't like to talk about it. (This Five is secretly canon timeline 5, he's just taking a well deserved vacation, because god knows he needs one)
Ben!!! Ben was the former Chief Engineer under Reginald, but he hated it, and after their mutiny gave it to Luther, and started looking for a new job. Partway through his job search, he got accidentally turned into a Hologram, so now he's dealing with that on top of everything else. He often fills in as Helmsman so he can be near his family on the Bridge (and also to keep Klaus in check)
Vanya as Ship's Counselor. With all her issues, Vanya is actually a pretty terrible Counselor, but she got promoted to that job under Grace, after many years of being stuck as Nurse because of the shithead Reginald not seeing her as "worthy enough". However, this way she gets to see her family more, and Grace is helping her learn the ropes, so it won't be long until she's psychoanalyzing people like someone who spent 10 minutes looking stuff up on the internet!
Grace. Grace, or the real Grace as we know her in S2, spent many years as the Chief Medical Officer before getting into a very unique accident and becoming merged with the Computer. This accident destroyed her body, and Reginald had an Android one built, and part of her lives in that and continues her work as a Doctor. The other part, is permanently in the Computer and runs the whole ship. Both have a Southern Accent, and both are the Hargreeves' Mom, because that's what everyone deserves.
Pogo. Pogo's a Klingon and was Reginald's First Officer before the mutiny, and for many years stood by and/or helped Reginald be shitty to literally everyone. After the mutiny, he was put in the brig, but is let out or consulted during emergencies, and is slowly taking steps to get demoted and put on probation, effectively giving him a second chance.
AU also has... the U.S.S. Commissioner, a starship sent after them by the Federation to arrest them all and put them under court martial. The Commissioner is Captained by The Handler, and has her daughter Lila as her Chief of Security, as well as other Commission Agents in her employ. (At one point Lila infiltrates the Umbra and working very closely with Diego, before betraying them or did she?)
Also! Sparrows are the mirror universe versions of them, in which their ship has been renamed to the I.S.S. Sparrer where Reginald is still in charge and they all listen to him 🤢

_READ THIS BEFORE ASKING_
Tethered Strings AU storyline.
---
Henry doesn’t know how long he was under this control, all he remembers is he headed to that bank to rob it. Henry was poor and desperate for money.
Suddenly he lost control of his body and his powers, he moved on his own and acted out commands that were not his. At first, he was scared then he soon got used to being in the backseat of his own body. He saw all the endings, he saw all the fails, he saw everything, so many years of his life were on autopilot.
Then one day he was reset back to the bank but will full memory of what happened, he expected to be manipulated again but he found that the strings that controlled him were gone, forever.
He turned and started to walk away from the bank but stopped when he remembered his friends.
"Charles...Ellie…"
Henry takes a breath before taking out the bag to hide in, he is going to play his part, but with a twist, he wants to keep moving forward.
So he snuck into the bank, escaped prison, stole a diamond, all the same as always but he finally felt the thrill of being in control and truly living the events.
[INFULTRATING THE AIRSHIP]
Days pass and he wakes up in the familiar helicopter, time to storm the tophat's airship. But Henry thinks, he hatches a plan, he wants to create a new ending.
Walking up to Charles he speaks with a slightly raspy voice due to his usual lack of speech.
"Charles… I have my own plan"
"And that’s?"
"It'll take much longer than today but you'll need to trust me."
Henry had to explain everything, the timelines, endings, fails, his power, all had to be relayed to Charles and of course shown proof before he finally gives the nod.
The mission goes as normal, he chases down Reginald, gaining on him, in the cargo hold he grabs onto him and holds him by the edge.
As planed he pleads for mercy and offers to surrender leadership of the clan to Henry.
Charles gives a simple smile and wink to henry, he gives one back before accepting Reg's offer.
Days turn to weeks as Henry leads the clan, slowly gaining their trust, he would even launch raids and thefts but all the items they steal would be somehow returned the next day. Henry gains their trust so now the time is right.
He sends a message to Charles "its time" is all the message said, he walks to the records room and finds it dark and empty, a glow forms in his hand as an item is summoned, a bag of holding.
Slowly but surely Henry empties every last shelf into the bag, stealing all of the files the tophat's had. He then made his way to the cargo hold and opened the door where he's met with Charles.
Henry gently lays down his hat and leaves a note inside it before jumping and climbing into the helicopter, he plops the bag down and sits down to rest as he created the new ending.
False leadership.
Of course, he ends up inside The Wall, sitting next to him is another familiar face, Ellie sat down looking devastated, like she had lost all hope when she got here.
"Yo"
Ellie looked up at Henry, she saw a glimmer of hope in his eyes so she stands up to make it clear she's listening.
"I'm breaking us out of here, hoist me up to the vents."
Ellie was excited and immediately did so, he smashes the hand restraints off him and then swings down to grab Ellie and bring her up.
The two sneak through The Wall, remaining undetected, they reach the helicopter pad and rest there, Henry shivers as he sees his breath, it's below freezing there.
Ellie was already wearing a coat so she was at least a little warm, Henry wore only a simple grey shirt and jeans. His fingers started turning black from the frostbite and so did part of his face, thankfully Charles arrived in time to help.
[COMPLETING THE MISSION]
Henry and Charles went to infiltrate the tophats space station, the story goes the same, Charles rams into the base when they practically destroy the place they climb into the escape pod, one more pod was left empty other than theirs which was a blessing when Charles was taken out and henry was sent back to earth. Charles contacted him and said he got onto the other pod but it was broken so he was left drifting in space while the oxygen supply was running out.
Sadly for the search and rescue mission, henry was left behind at base to recover from his injuries, Charles was rescued and the two had a happy reunion, now years later, Henry, Ellie, and Charles are searching for the last remaining top hats.
In those years, henry slowly changed his appearance, he no longer wanted to be reminded of when he was controlled, so he grew his hair out and even got a new outfit.
[notes about the AU]
Henry and Charles have crushes on each other but have not confessed, Ellie is trying to slowly push them in the right direction
Henry stopped speaking and now uses ASL, he stopped talking after the rescue mission.
Charles is a hella gamer
Henry lives in an apartment building 20 minutes from the militaries base
The tophats didn’t think henry stole the files, they thought he was arrested until completing the mission.
Henry likes to rub his arm or touch his hair to stim and calm down from his anxiety.
Henry has the power to pull items out of fiction and into his world, he can also copy any fictional character’s powers as well, the limit is that he needs to know exactly how the object and power works, sometimes his body can’t handle the powers he copies, and he’s an idiot-

Missingno Right Hand Man, Right (reborn) accidentally releasing Missingno from the goodball which corrupts his file and the clan has no idea how to undo corruption that he brought onto himself. But they learn quickly he's not useless, He's stronger, can predict outcomes and change the course of the outcomes for the Toppat, which they can recruit people that normally would stand firm against joining the Toppats. He does this to people he sees as a threat, General Galeforce, Warden Dimitri, and anyone else who dares stand in his clan's path, His family's path. The CCC can't contain him, since he is no longer following the world's coding/path.
The biggest negative thing that came from Right Hand Missingno is that Right lost the ability to love. Sure he cares for his family and will do anything to protect them, but romantically he doesn't feel affection. Reginald and Henry are hurt finding out, but they still continue to love Right in hopes that one day the corruption passes.
The corruption only gets worse, with those he had made join slowly corrupt themselves. The CCC at this point can't stop him and the corruption is slowly spreading to everything and everyone.
Henry has no choice but to completely reset the timeline in hopes to fix this, to fix Right. Though things aren't perfect and Henry has went back too far thanks to Missingno. Now Henry is a small kid who gets whisked away by the CCC, but is joined by Right.
Apparently they have traces of corruption and the CCC sought to contain them before they destroy everything, completely changing the timeline since they are no longer with their respective parents.
Reginald doesn't get the nerve to dethrone Terrence, leaving the Toppats to be arrested and taken down. Galeforce is stuck as Captain, eventually retiring to live in a small neighborhood. Dmitri expands The Wall and soon the maximum security complex ingulfs half of Canada.
And Henry and Right are still in containment at the CCC. Turns out that the CCC fixed the small amount of corruption Henry and Right had by defragmenting the two, causing them to be blank slates memory wise. They grow up in the CCC, never learning about the outside world and only knowing that they are anomalies to the world.
And the Goodball is found and sealed away in the ocean since it can't be destroyed.

Umbrella Academy Fic Series: Rare Birds
Hey so I fell head over heels in love with The Umbrella Academy not so long ago and wound up just writing all my season 3 headcanons (with a liberal helping of self-indulgent hurt/comfort) into a currently-ongoing fic series?
It’s called Rare Birds and it’s generally about the Umbrella and Sparrow Academies reluctantly working together to deal with the new timeline’s version of the Umbrellas, who are terrifyingly powerful and aligned against the Sparrows for reasons unknown.
Generally rated T and no more graphic than the show but do mind the Ao3 tags.
Rough Draft: In which the Umbrella siblings try to kill Sir Reginald, have a collective breakdown, fight with Ben, and meet an unexpected old friend.
Sparrowhawks: The mission seemed insultingly easy, until three of the Umbrellas start to show signs of Paradox Psychosis. Still, that leaves seven Sparrows and three Umbrellas to take on three evil twins. They can handle this. (They cannot handle this.)
Empty Nests: In 1989, Reginald Hargreeves and Harlan Cooper travel to Russia to find Vanya, determined to get it right, this time. They never get the chance. Thirty years later, they finally discuss this with their children.
Barotrauma: Baby Diego has an adventure on the ocean floor and gains some trauma because Reginald is The Worst. Sort of a one-shot.
Exposure Therapy: After the fight with alt Diego, Five is traumatized and neither he nor Diego are happy about it. Self-indulgent angst and fluff.
The Eyes of the Storm: Eudora arrests Diego on murder charges, only she’s pretty sure he’s not the right guy despite all evidence to the contrary. Then the real murderers show up and shit goes very sideways for everyone involved.

The Umbrella Academy Timeline
This is a chronological timeline for the events of TUA (the TV show).
Because theres lots of time travel, I’ve included colour coding, character ages, and tried to make it as comprehensible as possible ^‿^
The events of season 1 are in black, the events of season 2 are in purple. Events that end up as an alternative timeline to the main story are in red.

173rd Shenanigans
This particular story idea made me giggle. Here’s the thought:
What if, by using the the briefcase Klaus was actually shifted to an alternate timeline when he went to Vietnam.  Also, realistically, Klaus has 0% subtlety and is surrounded by people who need something to break up the hurry up and wait. He tells stories about who he is, what he went through, and where he’s from to every single person who asks(including in a weird day a couple of VC who had been captured) and a few that don’t.
This is the timeline that Five brought them back to at the end of S1.  They arrive in their childhood bodies two days before Five would have left...only to find that the Umbrella Academy had been under siege by members of the 173rd for two months.
In this timeline the soldiers of the 173rd, half a dozen assorted members of other units, and 5 former Vietcong all remember the soldier they affectionately named ‘Spooky’ and his tales of time travel and the Umbrella Academy. After the first mission by super powered children these soldiers get in contact and effectively go ‘fuck the timeline’.
They obviously don’t want to hurt the kids so that limits how ferociously they can attack the Umbrella Academy. Instead they make it impossible for the kids to be sent on missions or outside training (The first thing a few of them did was blow up the mausoleum). They also make is so Reginald can’t leave to take care of outside business. These soldier have just enough connections in high places that they are to not being arrested and they take a leaf from Spooky’s book. When the new vans arrive they talk about time travel and how that had revealed what was going on in that house. They never quite mention who went back or to when they went back, which prevent the commission from being able to correct the timeline.
I picture there being a rotation of who gets to punch Reginald Hargreeves (Sometimes in Effigy, Sometimes in reality).
During the two months before S1 Hargreeves arrive in the past, the Umbrella Academy does try to get past the soldiers a few times. The first time Reginald tries to send them out, a few of the Ghosts (guess who one of them is) of the 173rd manages to talk to Klaus (and earns the boy eternal gratitude when they chase off nearly all of the screaming ghosts). They tell him they are here to rescue all of the from Reginald and that they are not going to hurt the kids. This makes it so even Luther hesitates in using his power against them.
Four days in Reginald forces Ben outside to release the Horror. No one is more surprised when, instead of tearing the soldier apart, the Horror starts playing Frisbee with the soldiers. (The eldritch tentacle creature knows okay).
By the time S1 Hargreeves arrive the Siege is basically members of the 173rd breaking into the Academy and trying to find the siblings to convince them to leave. Also possibly to find Reginald Hargreeves to punch him in the face.
Queue Five freaking out, because timeline disruption. Klaus being ecstatic, a whole list or reasons starting with Dave and continuing with the blown up mausoleum. Everyone else in the house being slightly confused (Because, What do you mean you served in Vietnam, WHAT do you mean Ghost boyfriend. WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN tortured by time assassins.) The 173rd cheering because Spooky remembers them. Reginald being punched in the face, this time by Dave (He has had a permanent black eye for two months).
Luther, trying to be better because he does love his siblings he is just really really bad at decision making, invites the entirety of the people who had been laying siege to the Umbrella academy to move in.  Luther is so so happy that he is not alone in the big, empty, building like before.
Just shenanigans all around.

Henry Stickmin and raising the dead
٩( ᐛ )و
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Alright, SO
Looking at characters who have been risen from the dead throughout the series, there’s a noticeable pattern in behavioral changes after being risen from the dead. Since there’s only 2.5* cases, I’d hardly say the conclusions drawn are definitive, but there’s at least enough evidence to raise some eyebrows.
*I say 2.5 cases because the first instance of a character being risen from the dead actually comes from the bio of an old leader in Infiltrating the Airship: T.R.N.K.
Tumblr media
I label T.R.N.K. as “half” of an instance of raising the dead for this purposes because while he WAS risen from the dead, we don’t know his circumstances beyond what we see in his bio. We don’t know what led to his death--we don’t know if he was overthrown, killed in combat, betrayed by a trusted Toppat, or if he simply died of old age. All we know is that, presumably, his Frankenstein-esque resurrection was directly related to his betrayal.
However, if we want to get a better idea of the degree of change, we can look at the most detailed case of resurrection: Right Hand Man Reborn.
Tumblr media
His bio and his dialogue in the opening of Free Man heavily suggests, if not outright confirms, that he died in his battle against Henry in Infiltrating the Airship.
Tumblr media
It may be common knowledge, but keep that fact in mind: Henry killed the Right Hand Man in Infiltrating the Airship. In the THSC developer commentary, Puff confirms that it was Dr. Vinschpinsilstien who gave him his cybernetic enhancements.
Also in Free Man, RHM outright says that he made a point of going down to capture Henry, and in Master Bounty Hunter he says that he was planning to do so before Henry showed up.
Additionally, those two routes have something in common: Right Hand Man refers to Henry directly by his name.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This, plus more of his dialogue in Free Man (”You've gotta be pretty tired of waking up like this.”) suggests that RHM went out of his way to gather information on Henry--something that the other Toppats notably didn’t do.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hell, in routes going off of Pure-Blooded Thief, Reginald and even RHM don’t identify Henry outside of “the guy who stole our ruby”.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So, Right Hand Man is bitter about getting killed and Reginald being arrested at the hands of Henry. Real shocker. In other groundbreaking news, water is wet and the sun is hot. But what about routes in which he becomes Right Hand Man Reborn, yet still has Reginald by his side?
Well, despite his willingness to help out Henry in Toppat King, he holds an arguably bigger grudge against Henry than Reginald does,
Tumblr media
Going so far as to abandon Henry even after earning Reginald’s loyalty.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And by now we’re all familiar with the fail “The Good Gents” in Toppat Civil Warfare.
Tumblr media
Little can be said about Toppat 4 Life since he and Reginald don’t show up until the end, which takes us to Revenged. Here, he jumps at the chance to fight Henry, even calling it an opportunity for payback.
Tumblr media
Speaking of Revenged, we have our third confirmed instance of someone being risen from the dead: Henry Stickmin himself.
Tumblr media
Henry, or Henry Reborn as I’m going to call this version of him, spends this entire route with one goal in mind: getting revenge on his murderer, Reginald Copperbottom--even to the point where it leads to his second and final death.
While the majority of this route is spent fighting Right Hand Man Reborn, Henry Reborn is much more focused on Reginald. RHM is simply an obstacle for Henry Reborn to deal with to get to Reginald. This goal is so central to the route that the route is even called “Revenged”.
But what about Henry’s other traits? Whatever happened to his passion for thievery that he’s known and loved for, or his ironic sense of self preservation that drove him to abandon the Tunisian Diamond in favor of escaping the museum? He doesn’t even have any interest in taking back his leadership over the Toppat Clan? We get a mention of alternate timelines and a Pokemon reference, but aside from that, barely any of Henry’s most recognized traits exist in Henry Reborn.
So if we were to connect the dots, it’s implied that the resurrected individual’s cause of death lingers in their mind, often to the point of becoming an obsession and leading them to seek revenge.
Admittedly, there are a lot of empty gaps to this theory. Would the same be true of someone more mild-mannered or less spiteful, such as Burt Curtis or Dave Panpa, or is this more a reflection of Henry and RHM’s personalities that they’re willing to act on this, or even remember it? Why DID T.R.N.K. turn against the Toppat Clan in the first place?
If it is true that revenge seeking is the expectation, then would this dialogue prove that Dr. Vinschpinsilstien knows about it?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
If so, then why would she share information on the Toppat Clan’s whereabouts so readily? Does she think the Toppat Clan deserves it? Or is she trying to prevent potential collateral damage that would be caused by Henry trying to find out himself?
As I said before, even if the evidence is strong, definitive conclusions can’t be drawn due to so little information being available. But what is there is certainly enough to encourage speculation and fuel many headcanons and what-if scenarios.
